Card gallery: https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Set_Card_Galleries:The_Shining_Darkness_(TCG-EN-1E)
                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN099 | Effect Monster
Koa'ki Meiru Bergzak
EARTH | Warrior | Level 4 | ATK 2000 | DEF 200
During each of your End Phases, destroy this card unless you send 1 "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" from your hand to the Graveyard or reveal 1 Warrior-Type monster from your hand. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, it can attack once again in a row.
(Secret Rare)

At least you'll get 2 attacks with this in one turn before potentially self-destructs during the End Phase.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN098 | Effect Monster
Infernity Destroyer
DARK | Fiend | Level 6 | ATK 2300 | DEF 1000
While you have no cards in your hand, when this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, inflict 1600 damage to your opponent.
(Secret Rare)

It deals the most burn damage for one attack so far (next to Flame Wingman/Shining Flare Wingman) but it's stats are pretty bad for a Level 6 monster.

                               Rating: 3 | TSHD-EN097 | Effect Monster
Genex Neutron
LIGHT | Machine | Level 4 | ATK 1800 | DEF 1200
During the End Phase of the turn this card was Normal Summoned, you can add 1 Machine-Type Tuner monster from your Deck to your hand.
(Secret Rare)

Out of all the ScR cards in this set, I feel this card is the best one, which is sad because it's less expensive than Infernity Barrier, which I only gave 2/5.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN096 | Synchro Monster
Ally of Justice Light Gazer
DARK | Machine-Type Synchro | Level 8 | ATK 2400 | DEF 1600
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
This card gains 200 ATK for each LIGHT monster in your opponent's Graveyard.
(Super Rare)

The best chance to use this is with Lightsworn but even their popularity is fading.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN095 | Synchro Monster
Hydro Genex
WATER | Machine-Type Synchro | Level 6 | ATK 2300 | DEF 1800
"Genex Controller" + 1 or more non-Tuner WATER monsters
When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, gain Life Points equal to the ATK of the destroyed monster.
(Super Rare)

We have a better Synchro that does the same thing called Thought Ruler Archfiend and he can protect himself and other Psychic monsters but this guy is just standing water.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN094 | Effect Monster
X-Saber Pashuul
EARTH | Warrior-Type Tuner | Level 2 | ATK 100 | DEF 0
This card cannot be destroyed by battle. If this card is in face-up Defense Position, you take 1000 damage during each of your opponent's Standby Phases.
(Common)

Either way you'll take damage so you'd better use him as Synchro Material quickly or perhaps bring out Prime Material Dragon for LP gain.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN093 | Effect Monster
X-Saber Palomuro
EARTH | Reptile-Type Tuner | Level 1 | ATK 200 | DEF 300
When another "Saber" monster you control is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can pay 500 Life Points to Special Summon this card from the Graveyard.
(Common)

A slightly better Plaguespreader Zombie, who can come back for a fee anytime a Saber monster dies in battle and sent to the Graveyard. Sure PZ needs nothing but his rebirth is often a one-time deal.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN092 | Effect Monster
Genex Searcher
EARTH | Machine | Level 4 | ATK 1600 | DEF 400
When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon 1 "Genex" monster with 1500 or less ATK from your Deck in face-up Attack Position.
(Rare)

Now this guy beats Genex Undine but he has limited targets to choose from.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN091 | Effect Monster
Genex Undine
WATER | Aqua | Level 3 | ATK 1200 | DEF 600
When this card is Normal Summoned, you can send 1 WATER monster from your Deck to the Graveyard to add 1 "Genex Controller" from your Deck to your hand.
(Common)

Even if you want Genex Controller in your hand or better yet on the field, use Sangan or Mystic Tomato respectively instead as this guy's effect will be its undoing.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN090 | Normal Monster
Genex Controller
DARK | Machine-Type Tuner | Level 3 | ATK 1400 | DEF 1200
As a master of all powers and elements, this is one of the few Genex monsters that can communicate with its companions.
(Common)

A Tuner that is likely to get more support in future sets.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN089 | Trap Card
Infernity Barrier
Counter Trap
Activate only when your opponent activates a Spell Card, Trap Card, or Effect Monster's effect, if you control a face-up Attack Position "Infernity" monster and have no cards in your hand. Negate the activation and destroy that card.
(Secret Rare)

It negates pretty much anything but only works when you have no cards in your hand and control an Infernity monster.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN088 | Spell Card
Wave-Motion Inferno
Continuous Spell
While you have no cards in your hand, face-up "Infernity" monsters you control gain 400 ATK and DEF. You can send this face-up card from the field to the Graveyard to send all cards from your hand to the Graveyard.
(Secret Rare)

It should wave goodbye because no one will play it and will likely sit in trade binders for months to come while bringing a raging inferno where people will be raging that they pulled this bad card.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN087 | Spell Card
Core Overclock
Continuous Spell
All face-up "Koa'ki Meiru" monsters you control gain 500 ATK. Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can discard 1 "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" to have all face-up "Koa'ki Meiru" monsters you control gain 1000 ATK until the End Phase.
(Super Rare)

Koa'ki Meirus get a boost but since they generally need their iron or "same-Type friend" to prevent End Phase self-destruction, the extra ATK won't mean too much.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN086 | Spell Card
Saber Vault
Field Spell
Each face-up "X-Saber" monster on the field gains 100 ATK x its Level, and loses 100 DEF x its Level.
(Secret Rare)

With certain X-Sabers, this card isn't too bad but if your opponent takes one of them, it still retains the boost but even if this only applied to your X-Sabers, the most this card should've been is Super Rare.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN085 | Effect Monster
Akz, the Pumer
EARTH | Beast-Warrior | Level 6 | ATK 1500 | DEF 1000
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned by removing from play 2 Beast-Warrior-Type monsters in your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can discard 1 Beast-Warrior-Type monster from your hand to activate 1 of the following effects: ● Double this card's ATK until the End Phase. ● This card can attack your opponent directly this turn.
(Rare)

For what this guy requires, I'm willing to rename him to "Akz, the Doomed" as with 1500 ATK, he's prey for Bottomless Trap Hole.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN084 | Effect Monster
Nimble Sunfish
WATER | Fish | Level 2 | ATK 1000 | DEF 100
When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, send 1 Fish-Type monster from your Deck to the Graveyard. Then, you can Special Summon 1 "Nimble Sunfish" from your Deck.
(Super Rare)

I have no idea why he's a Super Rare as his effect is terrible and he isn't even a Tuner. Being nimble won't save him if he's on the field.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN083 | Effect Monster
Snyffus
EARTH | Beast-Type Tuner | Level 1 | ATK 100 | DEF 100
Once per turn, you can Tribute 1 Plant-Type monster to select and destroy 1 face-up card your opponent controls. When a Plant-Type monster(s) on the field is destroyed while this card is in the Graveyard, you can Special Summon this card from the Graveyard. If you do, it is removed from play when it is removed from the field.
(Secret Rare)

A weaker Plaguespreader Zombie that preys on Plants getting destroyed or you can use him for any Synchro Monster but until that Synchro Summon, he's a sitting duck waiting to be taken out.

                               Rating: 3 | TSHD-EN082 | Effect Monster
Koa'ki Meiru Prototype
EARTH | Rock | Level 4 | ATK 1800 | DEF 1800
If a face-up "Koa'ki Meiru" monster(s) on the field would be destroyed during the End Phase, you can destroy this card instead. When a face-up "Koa'ki Meiru" monster(s) on the field is destroyed during the End Phase, you can Special Summon 1 "Koa'ki Meiru Token" (Rock-Type/EARTH/Level 4/ATK 1800/
DEF 1800).
(Rare)

For a prototype, he's pretty good as he can stand alone without being destroyed during the End Phase because he doesn't have that effect!

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN081 | Spell Card
XX-Saber Darksoul
EARTH | Beast | Level 3 | ATK 100 | DEF 100
If this card you control is sent to the Graveyard, during the End Phase you can add 1 "X-Saber" monster from your Deck to your hand.
(Ultra Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

X-Saber Decks need this card as you can add 1 X-Saber monster from your Deck to your hand during the End Phase of the turn he is sent to the Graveyard but he's only for X-Sabers.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN080 | Trap Card
Chaos Trap Hole
Counter Trap
Pay 2000 Life Points. Negate the Summon of a LIGHT or DARK monster and remove it from play.
(Common)

How many times will you be willing to pay 2000 Life Points to stop the Summoning of a LIGHT or DARK monster? The more costly, Solemn Judgment can negate virtually anything so use that instead.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN079 | Trap Card
Synchro Ejection
Normal Trap
Select 1 face-up Synchro Monster your opponent controls and remove it from play. Your opponent draws 1 card.
(Super Rare)

Priority is likely going to screw this card over as they go off before this card so use Solemn Judgment instead.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN078 | Trap Card
Crevice Into the Different Dimension
Normal Trap
Declare 1 Attribute and select a total of 2 monsters with that Attribute from either Graveyard. Remove those monsters from play.
(Common)

There are some minor uses with this but there are about as many uses for this as there are crevices on this card's art.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN077 | Trap Card
Koa'ki Meiru Shield
Normal Trap
Activate only when your opponent's monster declares an attack if you have 2 or more "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" in your Graveyard. Destroy all face-up Attack Position monsters your opponent controls.
(Rare)

Run Mirror Force instead, plain and simple as this shield won't save you if you have only 1 Iron Core in your Grave. Mirror Force doesn't care what you have on the field, hand or Graveyard.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN076 | Trap Card
Power Break
Normal Trap
Activate only while you control a face-up "Power Tool Dragon". Select up to 3 Equip Cards on your side of the field and/or in your Graveyard and return them to the Deck, and inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each card returned.
(Common)

More like Power FAILURE as this card is terrible for only working with Power Tool Dragon and the most you can inflict is 1500 damage.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN075 | Trap Card
Morphtronics, Scramble!
Normal Trap
Activate only when your opponent declares a direct attack while you control no monsters. Negate the attack and Special Summon 1 "Morphtronic" monster from your hand.
(Common)

Take off the "ble" in Scramble and that'll tell you what the Morphtronics should really do as they aren't all that good so why even show up on the field?

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN074 | Trap Card
Blossom Bombardment
Normal Trap
Activate only when a Plant-Type monster you control destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard. Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the destroyed monster's original ATK.
(Common)

Generally, you'll need a strong Plant-Type monster to pretty well guarantee that you'll destroy it in battle.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN073 | Trap Card
Assault Spirits
Normal Trap
After activation, this card becomes an Equip Card and is equipped to 1 monster you control. Once per turn, if the equipped monster attacks, during the Damage Step you can send 1 monster with 1000 or less ATK from your hand to the Graveyard to increase the equipped monster's ATK by the sent monster's ATK until the End Phase.
(Common)

Odds are you won't have a 1000 or less ATK monster to throw away but there are a few that could make this card useful.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN072 | Trap Card
Phantom Hand
Continuous Trap
Once per turn, if you control a face-up "Infernity" monster(s), you can remove from play all cards in your hand (face-down) until your next Standby Phase.
(Common)

Here's another card I'd be running if I were running Infernities. Gives me a temporary card-free hand so I can use the effects of my Infernity cards each turn but it's only for Infernities.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN071 | Trap Card
Infernity Inferno
Normal Trap
Discard up to 2 cards and send the same number of "Infernity" cards from your Deck to the Graveyard.
(Rare)

Helpful to lower your hand size but it may not be enough to use the effects of your Infernity cards.

                               Rating: 3 | TSHD-EN070 | Trap Card
Damage Gate
Normal Trap
Activate only when you take Battle Damage. Special Summon 1 monster from your Graveyard with ATK less than or equal to the amount of damage you took.
(Super Rare)

Tragoedia in Trap Card form and it's pretty good for it doesn't matter how much Battle Damage you take!

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN069 | Trap Card
Infernity Break
Normal Trap
Activate only if you have no cards in your hand. Select 1 "Infernity" card in your Graveyard and remove it from play. Select 1 card your opponent controls and destroy it.
(Common)

Even for Infernities this card is bad! Literally it might break your Infernity Deck if you have one.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN068 | Trap Card
Infernity Reflector
Normal Trap
Activate only by discarding all the cards in your hand when an "Infernity" monster is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard. Select and Special Summon that monster from your Graveyard and inflict 1000 damage to your opponent.
(Common)

Probably one of the better Infernity support cards, but since it does nothing elsewhere, it gets 2/5.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN067 | Trap Card
Guard Mines
Normal Trap
Activate only when a card is activated with an effect that would target and destroy 1 monster you control. Negate the effect and destroy that card. Then inflict 500 damage to your opponent.
(Rare)

Guard Mine cannot guard against cards like Book of Moon or other cards that don't target like Fissure and Smashing Ground.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN066 | Trap Card
Black Thunder
Normal Trap
Activate only when a "Blackwing" monster you control is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard. Inflict 400 damage to your opponent for each card your opponent controls.
(Common)

In most cases, you won't deal much but it might end up being more than the damage you took from losing your Blackwing monster.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN065 | Trap Card
Blackwing - Bombardment
Normal Trap
Tribute 1 "Blackwing" monster to select 1 face-up Synchro Monster you control. That Synchro Monster gains ATK equal to the Tributed monster's ATK, until the End Phase.
(Common)

This card might be useful as it can give more ATK than Kalut to a monster you control but it has to be a Synchro Monster so this card also gets 2/5 stars.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN064 | Trap Card
Blackwing - Backlash
Normal Trap
Activate only when your opponent declares a direct attack while you have 5 or more "Blackwing" monsters in your Graveyard. Destroy all monsters your opponent controls.
(Rare)

Just having 5 Blackwings in your Grave makes it a pretty steep card to use but adding in that you have to be about to taking a direct attack leaves this card with only a 2/5.

                               Rating: 3 | TSHD-EN063 | Trap Card
Power Frame
Normal Trap
Activate only when a face-up monster you control is selected as an attack target by an opponent's monster with a higher ATK. Negate that attack, and equip this card to your monster that was being attacked. The equipped monster gains ATK equal to the difference in ATK between the two monsters.
(Super Rare)

Save your monster in two ways: from dying in battle and gaining more ATK in case you don't have Honest to help you.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN062 | Spell Card
Corridor of Agony
Continuous Spell
Monsters that were Special Summoned from the Main Deck cannot activate their effects, their effects are negated, and they cannot declare an attack, as long as they remain face-up on the field.
(Common)

Gladiator Beast Decks are sure to be hurt by this card unless they can bring out Gyzarius or Heriklinos but there aren't many uses for this card.

                               Rating: 4 | TSHD-EN061 | Spell Card
Leeching the Light
Normal Spell
Select 1 face-up LIGHT monster your opponent controls. All face-up Attack Position monsters you control gain ATK equal to the ATK of the selected monster, until the End Phase.
(Common)

No idea why this card rarity is so low (not that I'm complaining) or why less people are using it, It's really good LIGHT support.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN060 | Spell Card
Forbidden Graveyard
Quick-Play Spell
Activate by discarding 1 card. Effects that activate in the Graveyard this turn are negated.
(Common)

Stops monsters like Sangan, Honest and the Dark World monsters but it's only temporary.

                               Rating: 3 | TSHD-EN059 | Spell Card
Dawn of the Herald
Ritual Spell
This card is used to Ritual Summon "Herald of Perfection". You must also Tribute monsters whose total Levels equal exactly 6 from the field or your hand. When "Herald of Perfection" is Ritual Summoned by this card's effect, you can remove from play this card in your Graveyard to select 1 of the monsters Tributed for that Ritual Summon, and return it from your Graveyard to your hand.
(Common)

By default, I rate all Ritual Spells the same as their Ritual Monsters and vice-versa and this one's rating would've been higher if it Special Summoned one of the monsters used for the Ritual Summon.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN058 | Spell Card
Koa'ki Meiru Initialize!
Quick-Play Spell
Tribute 1 "Koa'ki Meiru" monster to add 1 "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" from your Deck or Graveyard to your hand.
(Common)

Koa'ki Meiru Decks probably need this card if they're going to lose their Koa'ki Meiru monster and don't have KM Prototype, Iron Core, or any of the cards needed to keep the said KM out.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN057 | Spell Card
Magic Triangle of the Ice Barrier
Normal Spell
Reveal 3 "Ice Barrier" monsters with different names in your hand to select 1 card your opponent controls. Destroy the opponent's card and Special Summon 1 "Ice Barrier" monster from your hand.
(Common)

Like Worm Call, not much is good enough to meet this card's requirements but only time and Konami's will to release better ones will tell.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN056 | Spell Card
Worm Call
Continuous Spell
Once per turn, if your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon 1 Reptile-Type "Worm" monster from your hand in face-down Defense Position.
(Common)

So far, there haven't really been that many powerful monsters that fit this card's requirements but maybe later on there will be.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN055 | Spell Card
Electromagnetic Shield
Continuous Spell
Level 3 or lower face-up Defense Position Thunder-Type monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle. Destroy this card if you control a face-up Attack Position monster.
(Rare)

Same as TSHD-EN054's comments.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN054 | Spell Card
Wattcube
Equip Spell
Equip only to a Thunder-Type monster. It gains 100 ATK for each Thunder-Type monster in your Graveyard. You can send this face-up card you control to the Graveyard to have 1 face-up Thunder-Type monster you control gain 1000 ATK.
(Common)

The Calculator can probably benefit from this card but because he's lost so much of his playability, this card probably won't get used much.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN053 | Spell Card
Dragon Laser
Quick-Play Spell
Send 1 "Trigon" equipped to a face-up "Delta Tri" you control to the Graveyard, and destroy all monsters your opponent controls.
(Common)

I suppose this comes in handy but only with its required cards.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN052 | Spell Card
The Fountain in the Sky
Continuous Spell
When a LIGHT monster is destroyed by battle and sent to your Graveyard, you can remove that monster from play to gain Life Points equal to its ATK.
(Rare)

If you run a LP Gain Deck with all LIGHT monsters, then I see this card fitting there but really not much else.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN051 | Spell Card
Pyramid of Wonders
Continuous Spell
All face-up Zombie-Type monsters you control gain 200 ATK for each monster your opponent controls. If (exactly) 1 face-up Zombie-Type monster you control would be destroyed, you can send this card to the Graveyard instead.
(Rare)

It's a wonder why this card even exists as it doesn't do much at all when we have Solidarity, which does the job much better.

                               Rating: 3 | TSHD-EN050 | Spell Card
Intercept Wave
Quick-Play Spell
All Synchro Monsters on the field are changed to Defense Position. And then, return all face-up Synchro Monsters to the Extra Deck during the End Phase.
(Ultra Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

This card can really save yourself if your opponent is running Infernities or Blackwings with Vayu and you can just put an end to all of their hard work with this one card!

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN049 | Spell Card
Into the Void
Normal Spell
Activate only if you have 3 or more cards in your hand. Draw 1 card. During the End Phase of this turn, discard all the cards in your hand.
(Ultra Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

This'll go Into the Trash Can with its pretty bad effect. Use Allure of Darkness instead.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN048 | Spell Card
Infernity Launcher
Continuous Spell
Once per turn, you can send 1 "Infernity" monster from your hand to the Graveyard. If there are no cards in your hand, you can send this card to the Graveyard to select up to 2 "Infernity" monster(s) in your Graveyard and Special Summon them.
(Super Rare)

This is probably the main card to Infernity Decks, which I have beaten already with Blackwings, but this card has proven to me already that it's a must for Infernities.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN047 | Spell Card
ZERO-MAX
Normal Spell
Activate only if you have no cards in your hand. Select 1 "Infernity" monster in your Graveyard. Special Summon it, and destroy all face-up monsters on the field with ATK lower than the Special Summoned monster's ATK. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the same turn you activate this card.
(Super Rare)

I have yet to see this card in Infernity Decks so either it's not drawn or no one is running it and why should they? Its name really should be ZERO-PLAYABILITY.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN046 | Spell Card
Cards for Black Feathers
Normal Spell
Remove from play 1 "Blackwing" monster in your hand to draw 2 cards. You cannot Special Summon during the same turn you activate this card. You can only activate 1 "Cards for Black Feathers" per turn.
(Ultra Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

The name is as bad as the effect! If I could alter this card's name, it would read "50 Cent Cards for Black Feathers" because for $0.50, you'd get terrible cards like this one.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN045 | Spell Card
Black-Winged Strafe
Normal Spell
Send 1 "Blackwing" monster from your hand to the Graveyard to select 1 Defense Position monster your opponent controls. Send that monster to the Graveyard.
(Common)

Gets around Stardust and Starlight Road but that's about it. Isn't all that great overall.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN044 | Synchro Monster
Chaos Goddess
LIGHT | Fairy-Type Synchro | Level 8 | ATK 2500 | DEF 1800
1 LIGHT Tuner + 2 or more non-Tuner DARK monsters
Once per turn, you can send 1 LIGHT monster from your hand to the Graveyard to select 1 Level 5 or higher DARK monster in your Graveyard. Special Summon that monster. It cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster.
(Secret Rare)

The "Chaos" part of her will be inflicted on herself as her card is so terrible that she's eligible to be a drink coaster or a proxy card.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN043 | Synchro Monster
Splendid Rose
WIND | Plant-Type Synchro | Level 6 | ATK 2200 | DEF 2000
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 Plant-Type monster in your Graveyard to halve the ATK of 1 face-up monster your opponent controls, until the End Phase of this turn. If this card attacks, during the same Battle Phase you can remove from play 1 Plant-Type monster in your Graveyard to halve the ATK of this card (until the End Phase) and attack once again.
(Ultra Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

She's only getting 2/5 for her Shrink-esque effect, which saves her from getting 1/5 and a pun from me.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN042 | Synchro Monster
Infernity Doom Dragon
DARK | Dragon-Type Synchro | Level 8 | ATK 3000 | DEF 2400
1 DARK Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Once per turn, if you have no cards in your hand, you can select 1 monster your opponent controls. Destroy that monster and inflict damage to your opponent equal to half its ATK. This card cannot attack the same turn you activate this effect.
(Ultra Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

Probably the most powerful of the Infernities thus far but still not good enough to give him a higher rating.

                               Rating: 3 | TSHD-EN041 | Synchro Monster
Chaos King Archfiend
DARK | Fiend-Type Synchro | Level 7 | ATK 2600 | DEF 2600
1 Fiend-Type Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this card declares an attack, you can switch the ATK and DEF of all face-up monsters your opponent controls, until the end of the Battle Phase.
(Ultra Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

Run over virtually any monster with his effect and if the monsters are in Attack Mode, you'll do some major damage! Too bad he's Tuner-specific, which is why his rating isn't as high as it would've been.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN040 | Synchro Monster
Black-Winged Dragon
DARK | Dragon-Type Synchro | Level 8 | ATK 2800 | DEF 1600
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
Whenever you would take damage from a card effect, place 1 Black Feather Counter on this card instead. This card loses 700 ATK for each Black Feather Counter on it. Once per turn, you can remove all Black Feather Counters on this card to have 1 face-up monster your opponent controls lose 700 ATK for each Black Feather Counter, and inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK lost by that monster because of this effect.
(Ultra Rare), (Ultimate Rare) & (Ghost Rare)

His only real use is to counter Burn Decks as that's where he gets his counters from. What really hurts him (and your Life Points later in the Duel) is that get gets 700 ATK weaker for each of his counters on him.

                               Rating: 3 | TSHD-EN039 | Ritual Monster
Herald of Perfection
LIGHT | Fairy-Type Ritual | Level 6 | ATK 1800 | DEF 2800
This card can only be Ritual Summoned with the Ritual Spell Card, "Dawn of the Herald". When your opponent activates a Spell Card, Trap Card, or Effect Monster's effect, you can send 1 Fairy-Type monster from your hand to the Graveyard to negate the activation and destroy that card.
(Ultra Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

She works well with the other Fairy-Type monster Honest and can work with Ritual Weapon! The effect isn't cost-free so her rating is 3/5 stars.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN038 | Effect Monster
Hunter of Black Feathers
LIGHT | Beast-Warrior | Level 4 | ATK 1700 | DEF 1000
While your opponent controls 2 or more face-up monsters, all of the same Type, you can send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to select and destroy 1 face-up monster your opponent controls.
(Common)

What's up with the name? I thought "Black Feather" wasn't okay for the TCG? Nevertheless, he'll be the hunted with those stats.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN037 | Effect Monster
Ally of Justice Core Destroyer
DARK | Machine | Level 3 | ATK 1200 | DEF 200
If this card attacks or is attacked by a LIGHT monster, destroy that monster at the start of the Damage Step (without damage calculation).
(Rare)

How many cores has Catastor's offspring destroyed with those stats? Or is it because he destroyed those cores that his stats are this weak? Well he's no match for Earth's core or this set's core cards.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN036 | Effect Monster
Key Mouse
EARTH | Beast-Type Tuner | Level 1 | ATK 100 | DEF 100
When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can add 1 Level 3 or lower Beast-Type monster from your Deck to your hand.
(Common)

A Tuner that decided to rip-off Super Mega Nimble Hamster's effect except he made it worse!  While not a Tuner, SMNH is the better card.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN035 | Effect Monster
Batteryman Fuel Cell
LIGHT | Thunder | Level 6 | ATK 2100 | DEF 0
If you control 2 or more face-up "Batteryman" monsters, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. Once per turn, you can Tribute 1 other "Batteryman" monster to return 1 card your opponent controls to the owner's hand.
(Rare)

"New from the makers of Batteryman Button Cell and Batteryman AA comes our worst Batteryman yet!" He's only fuel for the fire, literally in some cases because you won't likely use him.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN034 | Effect Monster
Batteryman AAA
LIGHT | Thunder | Level 4 | ATK 0 | DEF 0
When this card is Normal Summoned or flipped face-up, you can Special Summon 1 "Batteryman AAA" from your hand or Graveyard.
(Common)

Looks like he's a defective battery because he has no charge in ATK or DEF. Duracell should hear about this! He gets a negative charge from me: A 1/5.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN033 | Effect Monster
Ronintoadin
WATER | Aqua | Level 2 | ATK 100 | DEF 2000
This card's name is treated as "Des Frog" while face-up on the field. You can remove from play 1 "Frog" monster in your Graveyard, except "Frog the Jam", to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. This card cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster.
(Common)

2000 DEF and is part of that annoying Frog Deck that has come back to life, despite dying when SOI came out.

Testudo erat Numen
WATER | Aqua | Level 1 | ATK 0 | DEF 1800
Neither player can Special Summon monsters with 1800 or more ATK.

I'll just Normal Summon an 1850 ATK monster and run this guy over. Whatever this card's name means I translate it as "Totally not Playable".

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN031 | Effect Monster
Trigon
FIRE | Dragon-Type Union | Level 3 | ATK 500 | DEF 1700
Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can equip this card to a Machine-Type monster you control, OR unequip it to Special Summon this card in face-up Attack Position. While equipped to a monster by this effect, if the equipped monster destroys an opponent's monster by battle, select and Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower LIGHT Machine-Type monster from your Graveyard. (A monster can only be equipped with 1 Union monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.)
(Common)

It Special Summons Level 4 or below LIGHT Machine-Type monsters but very few are playable today.

Delta Tri
LIGHT | Machine | Level 4 | ATK 1200 | DEF 1000
If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, select and activate 1 of these effects:
● Select 1 appropriate Union monster in your Graveyard and equip it to this card.
● Select 1 face-up LIGHT Machine-Type monster you control, and return it to the Deck. Then draw 1 card.
(Rare)

No one would waste an Honest to use on this guy, even for its effect since it's very specific on what you return to the Deck to draw that card.

Memory Crush King
DARK | Fiend | Level 5 | ATK 2000 | DEF 0
When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent by a direct attack, remove from play all Synchro Monsters in your opponent's Graveyard, and inflict 1000 damage to your opponent for each monster removed.

Koa'ki Meiru Sandman
EARTH | Rock | Level 4 | ATK 1900 | DEF 1200
During each of your End Phases, destroy this card unless you send 1 "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" from your hand to the Graveyard or reveal 1 Rock-Type monster in your hand. You can Tribute this card to negate the activation of an opponent's Trap Card and destroy that card.
(Common)

Mr. Sandman, bring me a drink.....so that I can convert you into a coaster.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN027 | Effect Monster
Wattwoodpecker
LIGHT | Thunder | Level 3 | ATK 1000 | DEF 100
This card can attack twice during each Battle Phase. Any monster that battles with this card cannot change its battle position.
(Common)

How much wood can a Wattwoodpecker peck since a Wattwoodpecker can peck wood? This one can't peck much with those stats.

                               Rating: 3 | TSHD-EN026 | Effect Monster
Wattfox
LIGHT | Thunder-Type Tuner | Level 2 | ATK 800 | DEF 100
If this card is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect), your opponent cannot Special Summon a monster, or activate Spells, Traps, Spell/Trap card effects, or Monster Card effects, for the rest of this turn.
(Common)

If it included any Summon, then this guy would've gotten a higher rating but still, once he gets destroyed, your opponent is pretty much left with the End Phase or setting cards.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN025 | Effect Monster
Wattgiraffe
LIGHT | Thunder | Level 4 | ATK 1200 | DEF 100
This card can attack your opponent directly. When this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent by a direct attack, your opponent cannot activate the effects of any Spell, Trap, or Effect Monster Cards until the End Phase of this turn.
(Super Rare)

If you can get through successfully with this guy's effect he isn't too bad but he probably should've been a Rare.

Lyna the Light Charmer
LIGHT | Spellcaster | Level 3 | ATK 500 | DEF 1500
FLIP: Take control of 1 LIGHT monster your opponent controls, while this card is face-up on the field.

Following the failure of her darker half, she is no better off in this set, or anywhere except being your drink coaster. She's no prince charming either.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN023 | Effect Monster
Magidog
LIGHT | Spellcaster | Level 4 | ATK 1700 | DEF 1000
If this card is sent to the Graveyard for the Synchro Summon of a Spellcaster-Type Synchro Monster, you can add 1 Field Spell Card from your Graveyard to your hand.
(Rare)

For it's only trick, Magidog is going to rip-off the effect of Terraforming! More like Magidud as it doesn't do anything exciting.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN022 | Effect Monster
Cherry Inmato
DARK | Plant-Type Tuner | Level 2 | ATK 700 | DEF 400
When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon up to 2 "Inmato" monsters from your Deck. The monster(s) Special Summoned by this effect cannot be used as Synchro Material Monsters this turn.
(Rare)

A Tuner monster that can free Inmato from Clock Tower Prison or bring out two of its siblings isn't too bad but very limited on its uses.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN021 | Effect Monster
Biofalcon
LIGHT | Machine | Level 4 | ATK 1700 | DEF 1200
When a Machine-Type monster you control is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard while this card is face-up on the field, you can add 1 Machine-Type monster with 1000 or less ATK from your Deck to your hand.
(Common)

I see a trend here. Seems that all "Bio" monsters are terrible. We had Bio-Mage back in LON-EN and it's worse than this card!

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN020 | Effect Monster
Fairy Archer
LIGHT | Fairy | Level 3 | ATK 1400 | DEF 600
During your Main Phase, you can inflict 400 damage to your opponent for each face-up LIGHT monster you control. This card cannot attack during the same turn you activate this effect. Only one "Fairy Archer" can have its effect activated per turn.
(Common)

How much is this fairy in the window? Oh about $0.50 for her lack of playability and rather pitiful-looking arrow.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN019 | Effect Monster
Spore
WIND | Plant-Type Tuner | Level 1 | ATK 400 | DEF 800
If this card is in your Graveyard, you can remove from play 1 other Plant-Type monster from your Graveyard to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard, and increase its Level by the Level of the monster removed from play to activate this effect. Each player can only use the effect of "Spore" once per Duel.
(Common)

He does have his combos with Graceful Revival, Limit Reverse and his own effect, which isn't too bad for being a Tuner.

                               Rating: 3 | TSHD-EN018 | Effect Monster
Bird of Roses
WIND | Plant | Level 4 | ATK 1800 | DEF 1500

(Super Rare)

At last another card I don't have to throw a lame pun at! Solid ATK, not-so-good-effect but still playable.

● While in Defense Position: Once per turn, you can equip 1 face-up Attack Position monster your opponent controls to this card. (You can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card by this effect.)
(Common)

Talk about sucking badly! No ATK, DEF or really anything good about it! Reminds me of those commercials where the broom is dumped for the Swiffer mop and this guy will have those days.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN016 | Effect Monster
Revival Rose
DARK | Plant | Level 4 | ATK 1300 | DEF 1300
If a Level 5 or higher Plant-Type monster you control is destroyed, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard.

It can come back from the Grave, only to die again shortly after! Every rose in Yu-Gi-Oh has its unplayability (except Bird of Roses).

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN015 | Effect Monster
Infernity Avenger
DARK | Fiend-Type Tuner | Level 1 | ATK 0 | DEF 0
When a monster you control, except "Infernity Avenger", is destroyed by battle with an opponent's monster and sent to the Graveyard, while you have no cards in your hand, you can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. In that case, the Level of this card is equal to the Level of your destroyed monster.
(Rare)

I guess they call him "avenger" because he's going to "avenge" your lost monster but I doubt that with no ATK or DEF.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN014 | Effect Monster
Infernity Beetle
DARK | Insect-Type Tuner | Level 2 | ATK 1200 | DEF 0
While you have no cards in your hand, you can Tribute this card to Special Summon up to 2 "Infernity Beetle" from your Deck.
(Rare)

You can use him for anything but Infernities use this guy for bringing out multiple Mist Wurms in one turn.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN013 | Effect Monster
Infernity Randomizer
DARK | Warrior | Level 1 | ATK 900 | DEF 0
Once per turn, while you have no cards in your hand, you can draw 1 card and reveal it. For a Monster Card drawn with this effect, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the Level of that monster x 200. For a Spell or Trap Card, you take 500 damage.
(Common)

You're relying on one draw that can hurt you in the end, which is pretty bad, even for Infernities since they WANT a 0-card hand.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN012 | Effect Monster
Infernity Mirage
DARK | Fiend | Level 1 | ATK 0 | DEF 0
This card cannot be Special Summoned from the Graveyard. If you have no cards in your hand, you can Tribute this card to select 2 "Infernity" monsters in your Graveyard. Special Summon those monsters.
(Super Rare)

I have seen what Infirnities can do and essentially, they're like GB for they "tag" other Infirnities but for a Synchro Summon.

Synchro Magnet
EARTH | Machine-Type Tuner | Level 3 | ATK 1000 | DEF 600
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. When you Synchro Summon a Synchro Monster, you can Special Summon this card from your hand.
(Common)

Too bad he can't be Normal Summoned but then again, this allows you to perform a Normal Summon, then bring this guy out with Giant Rat. Still, not all that great overall.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN010 | Effect Monster
Flare Resonator
FIRE | Fiend-Type Tuner | Level 3 | ATK 300 | DEF 1300
The Synchro Monster that used this card as a Synchro Material Monster gains 300 ATK.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN009 | Effect Monster
Trust Guardian
LIGHT | Fairy-Type Tuner | Level 3 | ATK 0 | DEF 800
This card cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster, except for the Synchro Summon of a Level 7 or higher Synchro Monster. Once per turn, that Synchro Monster cannot be destroyed by battle. Each time this effect is applied, that Synchro Monster loses 400 ATK and DEF at the end of the Damage Step.
(Super Rare)

I can't trust a Tuner monster that can't be used for anything below Level 7 and Blackwing Armor Master does it for free what this guy does for a price.

                               Rating: 3 | TSHD-EN008 | Effect Monster
Dread Dragon
FIRE | Dragon-Type Tuner | Level 2 | ATK 1100 | DEF 400
When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can add 1 Level 3 or lower Dragon-Type monster from your Deck to your hand.
(Rare)

Being a Tuner AND having the effect of searching out monsters like Masked Dragon or the new Golem Dragon is pretty decent, especially since its stats make it very easy to get its effect activated!

Archfiend Interceptor
DARK | Fiend | Level 4 | ATK 1400 | DEF 1600
While you control this face-up Attack Position card, when an opponent's monster declares an attack, inflict 500 damage to your opponent.
(Common)

Where does his effect intercept??? In the end, you will still lose a monster if it's weaker but this guy is quite weak for a Level 4 monster.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN006 | Effect Monster
Second Booster
FIRE | Machine | Level 3 | ATK 1000 | DEF 500
You can Tribute this card to select 1 face-up Attack Position monster you control. The selected monster gains 1500 ATK until the End Phase.
(Common)

1500 ATK gain is pretty substantial, even until the End Phase because this guy won't be around anymore to hurt you back so you're sure to deal at least some decent damage with this guy.

                               Rating: 1 | TSHD-EN005 | Effect Monster
Card Breaker
LIGHT | Warrior | Level 2 | ATK 100 | DEF 900
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card can only be Special Summoned, in face-up Attack Position, by sending 1 card from your Spell & Trap Card Zone to the Graveyard.
(Common)

The one called "Card Breaker" cannot compare to the breaking power of Breaker the Magical Warrior but this guy probably got the name from breaking into pieces after running into another card.

Blackwing - Breeze the Zephyr
DARK | Winged Beast-Type Tuner | Level 3 | ATK 1100 | DEF 300
If this card is added from your Deck to your hand by the effect of a Spell, Trap, or Monster Card, you can Special Summon this card. This card cannot be used as a Synchro Material Monster, except for the Synchro Summon of a "Blackwing" monster.
(Ultra Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

Being a Tuner and having the ability to hit the field if added to the hand by a card effect is pretty good but it's restricted to Blackwings as a Synchro Material.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN002 | Effect Monster
Blackwing - Gust the Backblast
DARK | Winged Beast | Level 2 | ATK 900 | DEF 1400
If you control no cards, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. While this card is face-up on the field, if your opponent's monster attacks a "Blackwing" monster you control, the attacking monster loses 300 ATK during the Damage Step only.
(Rare)

If you draw multiples on your first turn, then there's some minor uses with it but in most cases, this gust is more of a breeze.

                               Rating: 2 | TSHD-EN001 | Effect Monster
Blackwing - Ghibli the Searing Wind
DARK | Winged Beast | Level 3 | ATK 0 | DEF 1600
When your opponent declares a direct attack, you can Special Summon this card from your hand. Once per turn, you can switch the original ATK and DEF of this card, until the End Phase.
(Common)

I guess it works as a substitute until you get the amazing Battle Fader but it doesn't have much.

XX-Saber Boggart Knight
EARTH | Beast-Warrior | Level 4 | ATK 1900 | DEF 1000

(Super Rare)

Probably the best Sneak Peak card in quite a while! The only thing is it's restricted to X-Saber Synchros as a Synchro Material.
