Starship Spy Plane
WIND | Machine |
Level 4 | ATK 1100 | DEF 500
If your opponent controls a face-up Xyz Monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). When this card is Special Summoned from the hand: Target 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls; return that target to the hand.
(Common)

Terrible stats and bad effect.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN098 | Effect Monster
Interplanetarypurplythorny Beast
DARK | Beast | Level 5 | ATK 1100 | DEF 2200
When a monster you control is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, while this card is in the Graveyard: You can Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. If Summoned this way, banish this card when it leaves the field. You can only use the effect of "Interplanetarypurplythorny Beast" once per turn.
(Common)

A one-time revival and for what? Pretty much nothing useful.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN097 | Effect Monster
Dododo Buster
EARTH | Warrior | Level 6 | ATK 1900 | DEF 800
If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). If Summoned this way, its Level becomes 4. When this card is Tribute Summoned: You can target 1 "Dododo" monster in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target in face-up Defense Position.
(Common)

Cyber Dragon, but basically as a Level 4 monster with less ATK and you have a few decent options.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN096 | Synchro Monster
Mighty Warrior
EARTH | Warrior-Type Synchro | Level 6 | ATK 2200 | DEF 2000
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the destroyed monster's original ATK.
(Common)

It's pretty much Flame Wingman, but with a bit more ATK and far more DEF. It can also be revived later.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN095 | Effect Monster
Alpacaribou, Mystical Beast of the Forest
EARTH | Beast | Level 7 | ATK 2700 | DEF 2100
● While in Attack Position: Attack Position Winged Beast, Insect and Plant-Type monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle.
● While in Defense Position: Defense Position Winged Beast, Insect and Plant-Type monsters you control cannot be targeted by, or be destroyed by, card effects.
(Common)

You can't have both effects simultaneously unless you have 2 copies out, but it's really not that good in the first place.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN094 | Effect Monster
Snapdragon
EARTH | Plant | Level 2 | ATK 300 | DEF 100
When this card is sent to the Graveyard: Banish 1 random card from your opponent's hand, until the End Phase. You can only use the effect of "Snapdragon" once per turn.
(Common)

It makes Lightforce Sword look good and that card is harder to activate than this!

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN093 | Effect Monster
Rose Witch
EARTH | Plant | Level 4 | ATK 1600 | DEF 1000
This card can be treated as 2 Tributes for the Tribute Summon of a Plant-Type monster.
(Common)

She'll help with the previous card or for Summoning other high-Level Plants like Tytannial but literally that's it.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN092 | Effect Monster
Queen Angel of Roses
EARTH | Plant | Level 7 | ATK 2400 | DEF 1300
You can Tribute Summon this card in face-up Attack Position by Tributing 1 Plant-Type monster. Once per turn, during your Standby Phase: Destroy the 1 face-up monster on the field with the lowest ATK (your choice, if tied).
(Super Rare)

Her stats are pretty poor for a Level 7 monster but until she's alone, she can help get rid of threats on the field.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN091 | Effect Monster
Swordsman from a Distant Land
EARTH | Warrior | Level 1 | ATK 250 | DEF 250
If this card attacked an opponent's monster, after damage calculation: Destroy that monster during the 5th End Phase after the attack.
(Common)

Such low stats make it a brainless idea to attack any monster, especially for such a slow effect that'll never resolve.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN090 | Effect Monster
Dark Artist
DARK | Fiend | Level 3 | ATK 600 | DEF 1400
If this card is being attacked by a LIGHT monster, its DEF is halved during damage calculation only.
(Common)

Art is interpreted differently from person to person but cards like this are easily identified as bad.

                                   Rating: 3 | LVAL-EN089 | Trap Card
The First Monarch
Continuous Trap
Special Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 6/ATK 1000/DEF 2400). (This card is also still a Trap Card.) If Summoned this way: You can discard 1 card, then declare 1 Attribute; this card becomes that Attribute, and can be treated as 2 Tributes for the Tribute Summon of a monster with the same Attribute as this card. While this card is treated as a monster, you cannot Special Summon monsters, except monsters with this card’s Attribute.
(Secret Rare)

Once activated, you get a versatile Monster Card that is a step above all those other 2-Tribute monster supporters.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN088 | Spell Card
Obedience Schooled
Normal Spell
If you control no monsters: Special Summon 3 Level 2 or lower Beast-Type Effect Monsters with different names from your Deck. Their effects are negated, and they are destroyed during the End Phase. If you activate this card, you cannot Special Summon for the rest of this turn, except Beast-Type monsters.
(Super Rare)

I guess you could use them for a Rank 2 Xyz Summon or another summon, but they don't stick around long.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN087 | Synchro Monster
Powered Inzektron
LIGHT | Machine-Type Synchro | Level 6 | ATK 2500 | DEF 1600
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this card is Synchro Summoned: This turn, this card cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects, also you take no damage.
(Super Rare)

Powered by what, aluminum foil or dead batteries? You get pretty much nothing out of this for your efforts.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN086 | Effect Monster
Gwenhwyfar, Queen of Noble Arms
LIGHT | Spellcaster | Level 2 | ATK 300 | DEF 300
You can target 1 "Noble Knight" monster you control; equip this card from your hand or Graveyard to that target. You can only use this effect of "Gwenhwyfar, Queen of Noble Arms" once per turn. The equipped monster gains 300 ATK. Apply the appropriate effect, depending on the Attribute of the equipped monster.
● LIGHT: If the equipped monster would be destroyed by a card effect, you can destroy this card instead.
● DARK: If the equipped monster battles an opponent's monster, at the start of the Damage Step: You can destroy that monster, then destroy this card.
(Secret Rare)

Other Union monsters aren't as hard to get and offer much more than this.

                                   Rating: 4 | LVAL-EN085 | Effect Monster
Noble Knight Perdur
LIGHT | Warrior | Level 4 | ATK 1900 | DEF 300
While equipped with a "Noble Arms" Equip Spell Card, this card becomes DARK and its Level is increased by 1. When this card is sent to the Graveyard while equipped with a "Noble Arms" Equip Spell Card: Target 1 "Noble Arms" card in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand.
(Super Rare)

An Honest target and a Beatstick! Perfect with its friends, Warrior or Beatdown!

                                   Rating: 3 | LVAL-EN084 | Effect Monster
Gravekeeper's Heretic
DARK | Spellcaster | Level 4 | ATK 1800 | DEF 1500
This card on the field is unaffected by all other card effects, as long as "Necrovalley" is also on the field.
(Rare)

A good regular Beatstick or a powerful Beatstick in Gravekeeper's Decks!

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN083 | Effect Monster
Bujingi Pavo
LIGHT | Winged Beast | Level 4 | ATK 1700 | DEF 800
When a Beast Warrior-Type "Bujin" monster you control is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard: You can send this card from your hand to the Graveyard; Special Summon 1 "Bujin" monster from your Deck. You can only use the effect of "Bujingi Pavo" once per turn.
(Super Rare)

Bujins get a Hand Trap, but given their small pool of good members, it's not going to help much.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN082 | Effect Monster
Ghostrick Yeti
DARK | Zombie | Level 3 | ATK 300 | DEF 2000
Cannot be Normal Summoned, unless you control a "Ghostrick" monster. Once per turn: You can change this card to face-down Defense Position. When this card is flipped face-up: You can target 1 "Ghostrick" monster on the field; this turn, it cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects.
(Common)

You might as well take advantage of the DEF because Ghostricks sure like to make sure you can't do much else.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN081 | Effect Monster
Sylvan Mikorange
WATER | Plant | Level 3 | ATK 400 | DEF 1100
When this card you control is destroyed by your opponent's card (either by battle or by card effect) and sent to your Graveyard: You can excavate the top card of your Deck, and if it is a Plant-Type monster, send it to the Graveyard. Otherwise, place it on the bottom of your Deck. If this card is excavated from the Deck and sent to the Graveyard by a card effect: All Plant-Type monsters you currently control gain 300 ATK and DEF.
(Rare)

The rating comes only from the first effect as the second is not remotely good.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN080 | Trap Card
Duston Roller
Normal Trap
Target 1 monster on the field; this turn, it cannot be Tributed, or be used as a Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Material for a Summon. If this Set card you control is destroyed by your opponent's card effect and sent to your Graveyard: You can add 1 "Duston" monster from your Deck to your hand.
(Short Print Common)

The effect lasts only a single turn, which is hardly going to be a detriment to your opponent's strategy.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN079 | Trap Card
Oath of Companionship
Normal Trap
If you control no monsters that were Special Summoned from the Extra Deck: Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls that was Special Summoned from the Extra Deck; take control of it until the End Phase. You cannot Special Summon during the turn you activate this card.
(Rare)

While less versatitle than Mind Control, it does let you use it for whatever you want.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN078 | Trap Card
Skill Prisoner
Normal Trap
Target 1 card you control; this turn, when any monster effect resolves that targeted that card at activation, negate that effect. During either player's turn, except the turn this card was sent to the Graveyard: You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 card you control; this turn, when any monster effect resolves that targeted that card at activation, negate that effect.
(Super Rare)

One might say the "successor" to Skill Successor, but that card was bad enough.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN077 | Trap Card
The Monarchs Awaken
Normal Trap
If you have no cards in your Extra Deck: Target 1 face-up Tribute Summoned monster you control; its effects are negated, also it is unaffected by the effects of cards other than this card.
(Common)

It becomes highly vulnerable, even without its effect. Pretty bad overall.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN076 | Trap Card
Imperial Tombs of Necrovalley
Counter Trap
When a Spell Card, Trap Card, or monster effect is activated, while both a "Gravekeeper's" monster and "Necrovalley" are on the field: Negate the activation, and if you do, destroy it. You can only activate 1 "Imperial Tombs of Necrovalley" per turn.
(Secret Rare)

Costless compared to other Counter Traps, but requires relatively specific cards.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN075 | Trap Card
Bujin Regalia - The Jewel
Normal Trap
Target 1 Rank 4 Xyz Monster you control; equip this card to that target. It gains 300 ATK for each Xyz Material attached to it. Once per turn, while this card is equipped to a monster by this effect: You can attach 1 "Bujin" monster from your hand to the equipped monster as an Xyz Material.
(Common)

That's 600 extra ATK tops for most Xyz Monsters in general and the other effect is restricted to Bujins.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN074 | Trap Card
Ghostrick-Go-Round
Continuous Trap
Once per turn, during the Battle Phase: You can activate 1 of these effects.
● Target 1 "Ghostrick" monster you control; change that target to face-down Defense Position, and if you do, change 1 face-down Defense Position monster your opponent controls to face-up Attack Position.
● Target 1 face-down Defense Position monster you control; change that target to face-up Attack Position, and if is a "Ghostrick" monster, change 1 face-up monster your opponent controls to face-down Defense Position.
(Rare)

Ghostricks get to reset themselves and reveal any hidden threat your opponent has, but that can be good and bad.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN073 | Trap Card
Sylvan Blessing
Normal Trap
Place 1 card from your hand on either the top or bottom of the Deck, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Sylvan" monster from your hand or Graveyard. It is unaffected by other card effects this turn. Place it on either the top or bottom of the Deck during the End Phase.
(Common)

We have Lonefire Blossom to bring them out and cards like Call of the Haunted to revive them. There's no need for this.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN072 | Trap Card
Purge Ray
Normal Trap
Tribute 1 Xyz Monster; during the End Phase, Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Number" monster with the same Type, but 1 Rank lower, as the Tributed monster had when it was on the field.
(Common)

Xyz Shift suddenly became better and it's all thanks to this disaster of a card.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN071 | Trap Card
Release, Reverse, Burst
Normal Trap
Tribute 1 "Utopia" monster; destroy all Set Spell and Trap Cards your opponent controls.
(Common)

Release Restraint Wave is the better card as a whole.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN070 | Spell Card
Shared Ride
Quick-Play Spell
After this card resolves, each time your opponent adds a card(s) from their Deck or Graveyard to their hand this turn, except by drawing them, you immediately draw 1 card. You can only activate 1 "Shared Ride" per turn.
(Secret Rare)

The effect is a one turn deal, but you could end up drawing multiple cards during that time and it's a Quick-Play Spell.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN069 | Spell Card
Stand-Off
Normal Spell
Target 1 face-up Attack Position Effect Monster on each side of the field; if both monsters are still face-up on the field, negate their effects, then if both their effects were negated by this effect, as long as those monsters are in face-up Attack Position, they cannot be destroyed by battle, are unaffected by other card effects, also they cannot attack or change their battle positions.
(Short Print Common)

What's the point of a stand-off anywhere? There's no action, no excitement and no reason to continue.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN068 | Spell Card
Xyz Overrride
Field Spell
If an Xyz Monster on the field would activate its effect by detaching its own Xyz Material(s), its controller can banish 1 card from their hand face-down instead of detaching 1 of those Xyz Materials. Each player can only use this effect once per turn.
(Common)

Both players are allowed to do it, but Decks like Infernities generally can't at least.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN067 | Spell Card
Onomatopaira
Normal Spell
You can only activate 1 "Onomatopaira" per turn. Send 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard; add up to 2 of these monsters from your Deck to your hand (you cannot add 2 from the same category).
● 1 "Zubaba" monster
● 1 "Gagaga" monster
● 1 "Gogogo" monster
● 1 "Dododo" monster
(Rare)

You can't pick two from a category, but it can help if you run a few of each.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN066 | Spell Card
Hidden Temples of Necrovalley
Continuous Spell
Activate only if both a "Gravekeeper's" monster and "Necrovalley" are on the field. Neither player can Special Summon monsters, except "Gravekeeper's" monsters. If either a "Gravekeeper's" monster or "Necrovalley" is not on the field, destroy this card.
(Rare)

It could be a threat, but since it requires 2 pretty specific cards, it'll be gone pretty quickly.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN065 | Spell Card
Bujinunity
Normal Spell
If you control no other cards and have at least 1 other card in your hand: Shuffle all Beast-Warrior-Type "Bujin" monsters from your Graveyard into the Deck (min. 1), and if you do, send your entire hand to the Graveyard (min. 1), then you can add up to 3 Beast-Warrior-Type "Bujin" monsters with different names from your Deck to your hand. You can only activate 1 "Bujinunity" per turn.
(Rare)

All you get is a smaller hand. It makes Reload look good.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN064 | Spell Card
Ghostrick Museum
Field Spell
Monsters you control, except "Ghostrick" monsters, cannot attack. Monsters cannot attack face-down Defense Position monsters, but can attack directly if all monsters their opponent controls are face-down Defense Position. At the end of the Damage Step, change any monster that inflicted battle damage to a player during this battle to face-down Defense Position.
(Common)

Naturally, Ghostrick Decks are immune to the first effect, but not the 2nd and this will still make them vulnerable.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN063 | Spell Card
Mount Sylvania
Field Spell
You can send 1 Plant-Type monster from your hand or face-up from your side of the field to the Graveyard; choose 1 "Sylvan" card from your Deck and place it on top of the Deck. You can only use this effect of "Mount Sylvania" once per turn. Once per turn, during your opponent's End Phase: You can excavate the top card of your Deck, and if it is a Plant-Type monster, send it to the Graveyard. Otherwise, place it on either the top or bottom of your Deck.
(Super Rare)

Sylvans will need this to improve their odds of getting more members from the Deck, but it's still a mediocre strategy.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN062 | Spell Card
Luminous Dragon Ritual
Ritual Spell
This card is used to Ritual Summon "Paladin of Photon Dragon". You must also Tribute monsters from your hand or field whose total Levels equal exactly 4. You can banish this card from your Graveyard; banish monsters from your Graveyard whose total Levels equal exactly 4, and Special Summon 1 "Paladin of Photon Dragon" from your hand after that. (This Special Summon is treated as a Ritual Summon.)
(Common)

Helps for when you have two copies in your hand, but not much else.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN061 | Spell Card
Xyz Shift
Normal Spell
Tribute 1 Xyz Monster; Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 monster with the same Type, Attribute, and Rank as that Tributed monster had on the field, but with a different name, and if you do, attach this card to it as an Xyz Material. During the End Phase, send it to the Graveyard. You can only activate 1 "Xyz Shift" per turn.
(Common)

Why would I bother changing my Xyz Monster if I was going to lose it and everything attached to it during the End Phase?

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN060 | Spell Card
Rank-Down-Magic Numeron Fall
Normal Spell
Target 1 "Utopia" monster you control; Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 "Utopia" monster with a lower Rank than that monster you control, by using it as the Xyz Material. (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon. Xyz Materials attached to it also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.) The monster Xyz Summoned by this effect gains this effect.
● If this card attacks, or is attacked by an opponent's monster, the opponent's monster's effects are negated during the Battle Phase only.
(Rare)

It's a big fall and an even bigger fail compared to other Rank-Up-Magic cards.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN059 | Spell Card
Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force
Normal Spell
Target the 1 Xyz Monster you control with the highest Rank (your choice, if tied); Special Summon from your Extra Deck, 1 monster with the same Type and Attribute as that monster you control but 2 Ranks higher, by using it as the Xyz Material. (This Special Summon is treated as an Xyz Summon. Xyz Materials attached to it also become Xyz Materials on the Summoned monster.) During your Draw Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard, instead of conducting your normal draw: You can add this card from your Graveyard to your hand. You cannot Special Summon during the turn you activate this effect, except by the effect of "Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force".
(Ultra Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

Doesn't even require that you Xyz Summon a Number C or CXyz Xyz Monster, but still not very good.

                                   Rating: 4 | LVAL-EN058 | Synchro Monster
Leo, the Keeper of the Sacred Tree
EARTH | Beast-Type Synchro | Level 10 | ATK 3100 | DEF 1900
1 Tuner 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
This face-up card on the field cannot be targeted by your opponent's card effects, except during your Main Phase 2.
(Rare)

Quite a nice Synchro Monster with near-continuous protection, high ATK and DEF and generic requirements.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN057 | Xyz Monster
Downerd Magician
DARK | Spellcaster-Type Xyz |
Rank 4 | ATK 2100 | DEF 200
2 Level 4 Spellcaster-Type monsters
During your Main Phase 2, you can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 3 or lower Xyz Monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) This card gains 200 ATK for each Xyz Material attached to it. If this card attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. If this card attacks or is attacked, after damage calculation: Detach 1 Xyz Material from this card.
(Secret Rare)

You expect great things from Secret Rare cards, but this one is a letdown at just about every corner.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN056 | Xyz Monster
Evilswarm Exciton Knight
LIGHT | Fiend-Type Xyz | Rank 4 | ATK 1900 | DEF 0
2 Level 4 monsters
Once per chain, during your Main Phase or your opponent's Battle Phase, if your opponent has more total cards in their hand and their side of the field than you do: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; destroy all other cards on the field, also your opponent takes no further damage this turn (this is a Quick Effect).
(Secret Rare)

What's there to be excited about? It's just a copy of Steelswarm Roach with an equally bad effect.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN055 | Xyz Monster
Fairy Knight Igunar
EARTH | Plant-Type Xyz | Rank 6 | ATK 2200 | DEF 3000
3 Level 6 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 2 Xyz Materials from this card; return all other cards on the field to the hand. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to this effect’s activation.
(Super Rare)

At least your opponent cannot respond to the effect but it has to give up nearly all of its Xyz Materials to do it in most cases.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN054 | Xyz Monster
Bujintei Tsukuyomi
LIGHT | Beast-Warrior-Type Xyz | Rank 4 | ATK 1800 | DEF 2300
2 Level 4 LIGHT monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; send your entire hand to the Graveyard (min. 1), and if you do, draw 2 cards. When this card you controlled while face-up leaves the field because of an opponent's card effect: You can target Level 4 Beast-Warrior-Type "Bujin" monsters in your Graveyard, up to the number of Xyz Materials this card had on the field; Special Summon those targets. You can only control 1 "Bujintei Tsukuyomi".
(Ultra Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

1st effect is very costly just to draw twice, but the 2nd somewhat makes up for your loss at least.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN053 | Xyz Monster
Ghostrick Dullahan
DARK | Fiend-Type Xyz | Rank 1 | ATK 1000 | DEF 0
2 Level 1 monsters
This card gains 200 ATK for each "Ghostrick" card you control. Once per turn, during either player’s turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster on the field; halve its ATK, until the End Phase. If this card is sent to the Graveyard: You can target 1 other "Ghostrick" card in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand.
(Rare)

You'll need 4+ Ghostrick cards to make this a threat, and even then it has 0 DEF and can only mostly copy Shrink.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN052 | Xyz Monster
Alsei, the Sylvan High Protector
LIGHT | Plant-Type Xyz | Rank 8 | ATK 2800 | DEF 3200
2 Level 8 monsters
Once per turn: You can declare 1 card name; excavate the top card of your Deck, and if it is the declared card, add it to your hand. Otherwise, send it to the Graveyard. If a card is sent from your Deck to the Graveyard by a card effect (except during the Damage Step): You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 card on the field; place that target on either the top or bottom of the Deck. You can only use this effect of "Alsei, the Sylvan High Protector" once per turn.
(Ultra Rare) & (Ultimate Rare)

I can only barely give it 2/5 because of the last effect, which can help with being successful with the first effect.

                                   Rating: 1 | LVAL-EN051 | Xyz Monster
Gorgonic Guardian
DARK | Rock-Type Xyz | Rank 3 | ATK 1600 | DEF 1200
2 Level 3 Rock-Type monsters
Once per turn, during either player’s turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; its ATK becomes 0, and if it does, its effects are negated. These effects last until the end of this turn. Once per turn: You can target 1 monster on the field with 0 ATK; destroy it.
(Common)

There's no need to waste Xyz Materials or other resources just to get rid of monsters that can be taken out in battle.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN050 | Xyz Monster
Number C92: Heart-eartH Chaos Dragon
DARK | Dragon-Type Xyz | Rank 10 | ATK 1000 | DEF 0
4 Level 10 monsters
Cannot be destroyed by battle. When a monster you control inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You gain Life Points equal to the damage they took. If this card has "Number 92: Heart-eartH Dragon" as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect.
● Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; negate the effects of all face-up cards your opponent currently controls, until the end of this turn. This activation and effect cannot be negated.
(Rare)

You'll have to find a way to save yourself damage because even as a Rank 10, it has nothing to offer itself.

                                   Rating: 2 | LVAL-EN049 | Xyz Monster
Number C69: Heraldry Crest of Horror
LIGHT | Psychic-Type Xyz | Rank 5 | ATK 4000 | DEF 1800
4 Level 5 monsters
When an opponent's monster declares an attack: You can destroy all cards your opponent controls. If this card has "Number 69: Heraldry Crest" as an Xyz Material, it gains this effect.
● Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 face-up Xyz Monster your opponent controls; this card gains ATK equal to that face-up monster's original ATK, and if it gains ATK this way, this card's name becomes that monster's, and it gains that monster's original effect. These effects last until the End Phase.
(Rare)

Pretty powerful, but much of the effects require the original to be Xyz Material.

(Common)

The punishment isn't very high, but it's there nonetheless and Cyber Dragon has far more uses (and twice the DEF).

When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can excavate the top card of your Deck, and if it is a Plant-Type monster, send it to the Graveyard. Otherwise, place it on the bottom of your Deck. If this card is excavated from the Deck and sent to the Graveyard by a card effect: You can add this card from your Graveyard to your hand.

Our first look at Sylvans outside the main set is a great one, especially in Plant Decks.
