                                                               ROTD-EN100
Effect Monster

D.D. Crow
DARK / Winged Beast / Level 1 / ATK 100 / DEF 100
(Quick Effect): You can discard this card to the GY, then target 1 card in your opponent's GY; banish that target.
STARLIGHT RARE

                                              Rating: 2
First it was Effect Veiler and now D.D. Crow. I don't get the idea of reprinting old cards in new booster sets when they've likely lost relevence and/or just don't make sense at all because they're old.

                                                               ROTD-EN099
Trap Card

Revenge Rally
Normal Trap
Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; equip this card to that target. It gains 500 ATK/DEF. If this card is sent to the GY because the equipped monster has left the field: Draw 1 card, or if you activated this card this turn, draw 2 cards then discard 1 card, instead. You can only use this effect of "Revenge Rally" once per turn.
SUPER RARE

                                              Rating: 1
What revenge can you possibly hope to seek with only +500 ATK and DEF? That's nothing in today's meta and the only reward you get beyond that is 1 extra card (especially when you draw 2 by its effect).

                                                               ROTD-EN098
Spell Card

Yaminabe Party
Continuous Spell
At the start of your Battle Phase: You can target 1 face-up monster you control; this turn, your opponent chooses the attack target(s) for that monster, also if that monster you control battles an opponent's monster, it gains ATK equal to its original ATK during damage calculation only. You can only use this effect of "Yaminabe Party" once per turn.
SUPER RARE

                                              Rating: 2
Though I wouldn't recommend letting your opponent choose your monster's attack targets, depending on the monster, your monster will likely get a nice ATK boost.

                                                               ROTD-EN097
Link Monster

Superheavy Samurai Scarecrow
EARTH / Machine-Type Link / ATK 0 / Link-1

Active Link Arrow(s):
Bottom-Left
1 "Superheavy Samurai" monster
Cannot be used as Link Material. While you have no Spells/Traps in your GY, you take no battle damage from attacks involving this card. If you have no Spells/Traps in your GY: You can discard 1 monster, then target 1 "Superheavy Samurai" monster in your GY; Special Summon it to your zone this card points to, in Defense Position. You can only use this effect of "Superheavy Samurai Scarecrow" once per turn.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 1
If it can't be Link Material, it needs to have good effects to support that and high ATK is a priority if all else fails. This guy has none of those.

                                                               ROTD-EN096
Link Monster

Linkerbell
EARTH / Fairy-Type Link / ATK 1500 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s):
Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right
2 monsters
You cannot Link Summon this card unless you have at least 3 more cards in your Extra Deck than your opponent's.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 1
Useless, moreso than the Ventrilo Dummies from Extreme Force, and I thought THEY were bad.

                                                               ROTD-EN095
Xyz Monster

Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon - Air Raid
DARK / Winged Beast-Type Xyz / Rank 6 / ATK 2000 / DEF 3000
3 Level 6 Winged Beast monsters
You can also Xyz Summon this card by discarding 1 "Rank-Up-Magic" Spell, and using a Rank 5 or lower "Raidraptor" Xyz Monster you control as material. (Transfer its materials to this card.) If this card is Xyz Summoned: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy it, and if it was face-up, inflict damage to your opponent equal to the ATK it had on the field. If this card in your possession is destroyed by an opponent's card and sent to your GY: You can Special Summon 1 "Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon" from your Extra Deck, and if you do, attach this card to it as material.
SUPER RARE

                                              Rating: 2
Ranking up to it might be better but not by much because as I said, there's not really any Raidraptor worth bringing out at any Rank.

                                                               ROTD-EN094
Xyz Monster

Raidraptor - Arsenal Falcon
DARK / Winged Beast-Type Xyz / Rank 7 / ATK 2500 / DEF 2000
2 Level 7 monsters
Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card; Special Summon 1 Level 4 Winged Beast monster from your Deck. If this card has any number of "Raidraptor" monsters as material, it can attack up to that many times during each Battle Phase. If this card is sent to the GY while it has a "Raidraptor" monster as material: You can Special Summon 1 "Raidraptor" Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck except "Raidraptor - Arsenal Falcon", and if you do, attach this card from your GY to it as material.
SUPER RARE

                                              Rating: 2
With only 2500 ATK, attacking any number of times is going to be risky when there's a large number of monsters with 3000 ATK and it requires them all to be Raidraptor materials. Rankinng up isn't much better since no Raidraptor Xyz is all that good.

                                                               ROTD-EN093
Synchro Monster

Rampaging Smashtank Rhynosaber
FIRE / Machine-Type Synchro / Level 7 / ATK 2400 / DEF 2100
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
You can discard any number of cards; this card gains 700 ATK for each card discarded. At the end of the Battle Phase, if this card battled: You can send this card to the GY; Special Summon monsters from your GY whose total Levels equal 7, except "Rampaging Smashtank Rhynosaber", but their effects are negated. You can only use each effect of "Rampaging Smashtank Rhynosaber" once per turn.
SUPER RARE

                                              Rating: 2
The ATK boost isn't too bad and you can revive monsters whose Levels = 7 but that requires willingly sending it to the Grave and those monsters lose their effects. This guy isn't very strong for its Level either.

                                                               ROTD-EN092
Fusion Monster

Performapal Odd-Eyes Metal Claw
DARK / Dragon-Type Fusion / Level 8 / ATK 3000 / DEF 2000
1 "Odd-Eyes" monster + 1 "Performapal" monster
Cannot be used as Fusion Material. If this card was Fusion Summoned with "Polymerization", it is unaffected by other cards' effects. When this card declares an attack: All monsters you currently control gain 300 ATK until the end of the Battle Phase.
SUPER RARE

                                              Rating: 1
Why is this even a foil? +300 ATK does nothing, it can't be Fusion Material and the only thing you get out of it is when you Fusion Summon it with regular Poly. Even 3000 ATK doesn't justify the rarity as we've had cards with 3K ATK as Commons.

                                                               ROTD-EN091
Pendulum Monster

D/D Dog
DARK / Fiend-Type Pendulum / Level 6 / ATK 2000 / DEF 2000 / Scale 3
You can target 1 Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Monster your opponent controls; negate its effects until the end of this turn, then destroy this card. You can only use this effect of "D/D Dog" once per turn.

Once per turn, if your opponent Special Summons a Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Monster(s) (except during the Damage Step): You can target 1 of those monsters; this turn, that face-up monster cannot attack, also its effects are negated.
SUPER RARE

                                              Rating: 1
With only 2000 ATK and DEF, anything stronger can run over it and render any negated effects moot. Plus, it doesn't work on Link Monsters or anything else.

                                                               ROTD-EN090
Effect Monster

Speedroid CarTurbo
WIND / Machine-Type Tuner / Level 3 / ATK 800 / DEF 1200
If you control a WIND monster: You can Special Summon this card from your hand, also you cannot activate monster effects for the rest of this turn, except WIND monsters. You can banish this card and 1 "Speedroid" monster from your GY; all WIND monsters you currently control gain 800 ATK until the end of this turn. You can only use each effect of "Speedroid CarTurbo" once per turn.
ULTRA RARE

                                              Rating: 2
Looks like they took Card Car D and converted it into something more powerful but the effects and stats don't really show much improvement, if any.

                                                               ROTD-EN089
Effect Monster

Speedroid Block-n-Roll
WIND / Machine / Level 4 / ATK 1000 / DEF 1800
If this card is sent to the GY as Synchro Material: You can Special Summon 1 "Speedroid Token" (Machine/WIND/
ATK 0/DEF 0) with a Level equal to the original Level of the Synchro Monster that used this card as material. You can only use this effect of "Speedroid Block-n-Roll" once per turn.
SUPER RARE

                                              Rating: 1
Are you ready to rock out loud? Not with this guy you're not. It's a bass guitar because his rating is so low.

                                                               ROTD-EN088
Effect Monster

Ret-time Reviver Emit-ter
DARK / Fairy-Type Tuner / Level 2 / ATK 800 / DEF 0
If this card is in your hand or GY: You can target 1 face-up monster on each field; change them to face-down Defense Position, and if you do, Special Summon this card, but banish it when it leaves the field. You can only use this effect of "Ret-time Reviver Emit-ter" once per turn.
SUPER RARE

                                              Rating: 1

                                                               ROTD-EN087
Effect Monster

Seleglare the Luminous Lunar Dragon
LIGHT / Dragon / Level 6 / ATK 2400 / DEF 1000
You can Normal Summon/Set this card without Tributing, but its original ATK becomes 1500. During the Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can target 1 monster your opponent controls with ATK less than or equal to this card; return this card to the hand, and if you do, take control of that opponent's monster until the End Phase. You can only use this effect of "Seleglare the Luminous Lunar Dragon" once per turn.
ULTRA RARE

                                              Rating: 3
Might as well forego the effect and just use it as a beatstick that is friends with Honest because neither effect is going to be that useful.

                                                               ROTD-EN086**
Effect Monster

Wynn the Wind Channeler
WIND / Spellcaster / Level 5 / ATK 1850 / DEF 1500
(This card is always treated as a "Charmer" card.)
You can discard this card and 1 other WIND monster; add 1 WIND monster with 1500 or less DEF from your Deck to your hand, except "Wynn the Wind Channeler", also you cannot activate monster effects for the rest of this turn, except WIND monsters. When a WIND monster you control is destroyed by battle while this card is in your hand: You can Special Summon this card. You can only use each effect of "Wynn the Wind Channeler" once per turn.
SUPER RARE

                                              Rating: 1
It's not channeling much wind if it cannot muster higher ATK and DEF and has such mediocre abilities to back it up.

                                                               ROTD-EN085
Pendulum Monster

D/D Evil
DARK / Fiend-Type Pendulum / Level 4 / ATK 2000 / DEF 0 / Scale 8
Once, while this card is in your Pendulum Zone, when your opponent Pendulum Summons a monster(s) (except during the Damage Step): You can activate this effect; this turn, that Pendulum Summoned monster cannot attack, also its effects are negated.

Cannot attack unless you control another "D/D" monster. During your opponent's Main Phase (Quick Effect): You can target 1 face-up Pendulum Summoned monster your opponent controls; negate that face-up monster's effects until the end of this turn. You can only use this effect of "D/D Evil" once per turn.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 2
Being a Pendulum Monster has helped this monster escape the worst rating I give but not by much as it has all the other hallmarks of monsters like it.

                                                               ROTD-EN084
Pendulum Monster

D/D Ark
DARK / Fiend-Type Pendulum / Level 4 / ATK 0 / DEF 2000 / Scale 1
You can target 1 Pendulum Summoned monster your opponent controls; destroy both that monster and this card. You can only use this effect of "D/D Ark" once per turn.

If this card is destroyed by card effect: You can Special Summon 1 face-up "D/D" Pendulum Monster from your Extra Deck, except "D/D Ark", but its effects are negated. You can only use this effect of "D/D Ark" once per turn.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 2
Noah's Ark is just a legend and ths guy being successful is also a legend. It'll never live up to that hype thanks to how bad D/D Decks are.

                                                               ROTD-EN083
Pendulum Monster

Odd-Eyes Revolution Dragon
LIGHT / Dragon-Type Pendulum / Level 12 / ATK ? / DEF ? / Scale 12
You cannot Pendulum Summon monsters, except Dragon monsters. This effect cannot be negated. You can target 1 Dragon Fusion, Synchro, or Xyz Monster in your GY; destroy this card, and if you do, Special Summon that target.

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Pendulum Summoned (from your hand), or be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 3 Dragon monsters (1 Fusion, 1 Synchro, and 1 Xyz). You can discard this card and pay 500 LP: Add 1 Level 8 or lower Dragon Pendulum Monster from your Deck to your hand. Gains ATK/DEF equal to half of your opponent's LP. Once per turn: You can pay half your LP; shuffle all other cards from the field and the GYs into the Deck.
SECRET RARE

                                              Rating: 2
A revolution isn't set with this guy, unless it's to bring something down because he's brought down what could've been a high rating to just 2 stars.

                                                               ROTD-EN082
Pendulum Monster

Performapal Card Gardna
EARTH / Rock-Type Pendulum / Level 3 / ATK 1000 / DEF 1000 / Scale 8
Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up Defense Position monster you control; its DEF becomes equal to the combined original DEF of all face-up Defense Position monsters you currently control (even if this card leaves the field).

Gains DEF equal to the combined original DEF of all other "Performapal" monsters you control.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 2
Make use of the high Scale because you won't be making use of anything else given how weak most other Performapals are.

                                                               ROTD-EN081
Pendulum Monster

Abyss Actor - Twinkle Little Star
DARK / Fiend-Type Pendulum / Level 4 / ATK 1000 / DEF 1000 / Scale 9

Once per turn: You can target 1 "Abyss Actor" monster you control; this turn, it can make up to 3 attacks on monsters during each Battle Phase, also other monsters you control cannot attack for the rest of this turn (even if this card leaves the field).

Cannot be destroyed by battle during your turn. This card can make up to 3 attacks on monsters during each Battle Phase.

Archetype Bias rears its ugly head again and targets another Archetype to bring down its reputation.

                                                               ROTD-EN080
Trap Card

Junk Sleep
Continuous Trap
If your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster(s): You can change all face-down Defense Position monsters you control to face-up Attack Position. During the End Phase: You can change all monsters you control to face-down Defense Position. You can only use each effect of "Junk Sleep" once per turn.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 1
Junk Card more like because it doesn't benefit you to put your monsters in a more vulnerable position just because your opponent played a monster.

                                                               ROTD-EN079
Trap Card

Icy Dragon's Prison
Normal Trap
Target 1 monster in your opponent's GY; Special Summon it to your field, but its effects are negated, then, you can banish 1 monster from both players' fields that have the same Type as each other. You can only activate 1 "Ice Dragon's Prison" per turn.
ULTRA RARE

                                              Rating: 1
I've seen this card being regarded as a big player in certain Decks but why? It's just a slower half-Monster Reborn with a bonus. Plus the revived monster loses its effects, making Monster Reborn that much better. I'd rather use Call of the Haunted over this too.

                                                               ROTD-EN078
Trap Card

Redeemable Jar
Continuous Trap
You can banish 1 Trap from your GY; add from your GY to your hand, 1 Trap with a different original name from that banished card. You can only use this effect of "Redeemable Jar" once per turn.
SUPER RARE

                                              Rating: 1
If you want to redeem yourself, use Mask of Darkness, which retrieves the Trap from your Grave once it's turn face-up after being Set.

                                                               ROTD-EN077
Trap Card

Dragonmaid Tidying
Normal Trap
Target 1 Dragon monster you control and 1 card your opponent controls or in their GY; return them to the hand. You can banish this card from your GY; Special Summon 1 "Dragonmaid" monster from your hand or GY in Defense Position, but return it to the hand during the End Phase. You can only use 1 "Dragonmaid Tidying" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
SUPER RARE

                                              Rating: 1
They're not tyding up anywhere. They're making a bigger mess with each card released.

                                                               ROTD-EN076
Trap Card

Shaddoll Schism
Continuous Trap
During the Main Phase, you can: Fusion Summon 1 "Shaddoll" Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, by banishing Fusion Materials listed on it from your field or GY, but it cannot attack directly. Then, you can send to the GY 1 monster your opponent controls with the same Attribute as that Fusion Summoned monster. You can only use this effect of "Shaddoll Schism" once per turn.
ULTRA RARE

                                              Rating: 1
It's only Ultra because it's a Shaddoll-based card because it's just another copy of Poly.

                                                               ROTD-EN075
Trap Card

Darklord Uprising
Normal Trap
Send 1 "Darklord" monster from your hand or face-up field to the GY; Fusion Summon 1 DARK Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or field as Fusion Material, then, you can gain LP equal to the original ATK of the monster sent to the GY to activate this card. You can only activate 1 "Darklord Uprising" per turn.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 1
It would've been costly enough just to use it as another rip-off of the original; Poly but Konami didn't stop there. They opted to also require you to send not any old monster but one of the crappy Darklords to the Grave for extra LP. If they're this bad, there will be no uprising by any stretch.

                                                               ROTD-EN074
Trap Card

Frightfur Jar
Continuous Trap
This card's name becomes "Toy Vendor" while on the field or in the GY. Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; draw 1 card and show it, then if it is an "Edge Imp" monster, you can destroy 1 card on the field, otherwise place 1 card from your hand on the top or bottom of the Deck. If this card is sent to the GY: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; halve its ATK until the end of this turn.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 1
It's even slower than Toy Vendor so why would I even bother using it, especially when what you get out of it is a gamble in ANY Deck, including the one it's meant for.

                                                               ROTD-EN073
Trap Card

Melffy Playhouse
Normal Trap
Detach any number of materials from Beast Xyz Monsters you control, then target up to that many cards your opponent controls; return them to the hand, also all Beast Xyz Monsters you control gain 500 ATK for each material detached to activate this card, until the end of this turn.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 1
Doesn't evem matter that any Beast Deck can use it when it's pointless. The +500 ATK doesn't last long and costs you Xyz Materials that would be likely better used on the monster they're attached to.

                                                               ROTD-EN072
Trap Card

Horn of Olifant
Normal Trap
Activate 1 of these effects;
● Banish 1 Equip Spell you control or in your GY, then you can destroy 1 card on the field.
● Destroy 1 "Roland" monster you control, then Special Summon in Defense Position up to 3 FIRE Warrior monsters from your Deck, whose total Levels equal 9, but their effects are negated, also, until the end of your next turn after this effect resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters, except Warrior monsters.
You can only activate 1 "Horn of Olifant" per turn.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 1
Might as well be a horn for retreat because using this isn't going to help you much at all. Why? You're sacrificing cards just to have the chance at bringing out FIRE Warriors. Not a good trade regardless of what you bring out.

                                                               ROTD-EN071
Trap Card

Dogmatika Encounter
Normal Trap
Activate one of these effects;
● Special Summon 1 "Dogmatika" monster or "Fallen of Albaz" from your hand.
● Add to your hand or Special Summon 1 "Dogmatika" monster or "Fallen of Albaz" from your GY.
You can only activate 1 "Dogmatika Encounter" per turn.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 1

Trap Card

Dogmatika Punishment
Normal Trap
Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; send 1 monster with an equal or higher ATK from your Extra Deck to the GY, and if you do, destroy that monster. Until the end of your next turn after this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck. You can only activate 1 "Dogmatika Punishment" per turn.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 1
For about the same price and easier activation, you can use Tribute to the Doomed and not wait a single turn, nor worry about what you discard and what you're able to destroy.

Trap Card

Spiral Reborn
Normal Trap
Target 1 Level 7 or lower Dragon monster in your GY; Special Summon it. If you Special Summoned a "Gaia the Dragon Champion" by this effect, your opponent cannot target it with card effects, and it cannot be destroyed by their card effects. You can only activate 1 "Spiral Reborn" per turn.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 2
I don't have to revive Gaia the Dragon Champion but there isn't much I can revive apart from that either.

                                                               ROTD-EN068
Trap Card

Spiral Discharge
Continuous Trap
While "Gaia the Dragon Champion" is in your Monster Zone, your opponent's monsters can only target "Gaia the Dragon Champion" for attacks. When an attack is declared involving your "Gaia the Dragon Champion": You can target 1 card on the field; destroy it. You can only use this effect of "Spiral Discharge" once per turn.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 1
Gaia the Dragon Champion should be nowhere near your Monster Zone. It shouldn't even be anywhere except a trade binder and only if it's of value (LOB print specifically).

Spell Card

Diced Dice
Quick-Play Spell
Roll a six-sided die, and if you roll a 1 or 6, add 1 card from your Deck to your hand that requires a die roll. If you roll a number other than 1 or 6, roll it again, and apply the appropriate effect.
● 1 or 6: Return this card to the hand.
● 2, 3, 4, or 5: Place this card on top of the Deck.
You can only activate 1 "Diced Dice" per turn.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 1
This isn't even a good fit for a Joey-based Deck because it's even more risky than just about anything he's ever played.

                                                               ROTD-EN066
Spell Card

Heavenly Dragon Circle
Quick-Play Spell
Tribute 1 Wyrm monster; add 1 Wyrm monster from your Deck to your hand, or if you Tributed a non-Effect Monster to activate this card, you can Special Summon it instead, but negate its effects. During your Main Phase, if you control a face-up non-Effect Monster: You can banish this card from your GY; add 1 "Tenyi" card from your Deck to your hand. You can only use 1 "Heavenly Dragon Circle" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 1
Neither Wyrms nor Tenyis have many worthwhile members so this isn't going to help you at all, especially since it's not even guaranteed to bring out the monster and takes away the monster's effects even so.
                                                               ROTD-EN065
Spell Card

Forbidden Droplet
Quick-Play Spell
Send any number of other cards from your hand and/or field to the GY; choose that many Effect Monsters your opponent controls, and until the end of this turn, their ATK is halved, also their effects are negated. In response to this card's activation, your opponent cannot activate cards, or the effects of cards, with the same original type (Monster/Spell/Trap) as the cards sent to the GY to activate this card. You can only activate 1 "Forbidden Droplet" per turn.
SECRET RARE

                                              Rating: 2
It's more costly than the other Forbidden Quick-Play Spells before it but you also get more out of it.

                                                               ROTD-EN064
Spell Card

Fury of Kairyu-Shin
Normal Spell
Add 1 "Torrential Tribute" from your Deck to your hand. If a WATER monster(s) you control would be destroyed by card effect, you can banish this card from your GY instead. You can only use each effect of "Fury of Kairyu-Shin" once per turn.
COMMON

                                              Rating: 2
The card will be easily exploitable but if your opponent can't get rid of it, they'll still lose all their monsters and it also protects yours.
                                                               ROTD-EN063
Spell Card

Blizzard
Quick-Play Spell
Target 1 face-up Spell your opponent controls; this turn, negate the activated effects of that Spell and all Spells on the field with that same original name. If the targeted card would be sent to the opponent's GY this turn, it is added to their hand instead. You can only activate 1 "Blizzard" per turn.
SUPER RARE
