Climactic Barricade
Anime Normal Trap
Activate only when your opponent Normal Summons a monster. Face-up Level 4 or lower monsters your opponent controls cannot declare an attack during this turn. Inflict 500 damage to your opponent for each face-up Level 4 or lower monster your opponent controls during the End Phase of this turn.

Rating: 2
Comments: Normal Summons don't happen as much as they used to and this effect does take a while to get the most of but do so and you may get some decent damage out of it.
Speed Spell - Speed Demon
Anime Normal Speed Spell
Activate only if you have 3 or more Speed Counters. Inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. During your Standby Phase, if this card is in your Graveyard, you can remove 3 of your Speed Counters to add this card from your Graveyard to your hand.

Comments: There are better ways already released that can deal this damage or more without needing Speed Counters and I think Konami knew that.
Offensive Guard
Anime Normal Trap
Activate only when your opponent's monster declares a direct attack. Halve the attacking monster's ATK until the End Phase, and draw 1 card.

Comments: You could just negate the attack, then gain LP equal to the monster's ATK with Draining Shield or reduce the damage to 0 and draw 1 card with Defense Draw, both of which are better than this.
Final Penalty
Anime Normal Trap
Activate only if a monster you control is destroyed by battle. Destroy 1 monster your opponent controls, and inflict damage to your opponent equal to half the ATK of your destroyed monster.

Rating: 2
Comments: It costs you a monster as you cannot activate this until your monster is destroyed in battle but then you get to even the score and then some, though only half the ATK of the monster you lost.
Episode 74: Synchro Solution
Speed Spell - Speed Energy
Anime Normal Speed Spell
Activate only while you have 2 or more Speed Counters. Select 1 face-up monster on the field. It gains 200 ATK for each Speed Counter you have until the End Phase.

Rating: 1
Comments: If you meet the bare minumum of 2 Speed Counters, your monster gets less ATK than cards like Black Pendant but since the maximum in the show was 12, that's a long time to wait and by then it may be too late. Even half the wait is only 1200 ATK and we can do better.
Wave Force
Anime Normal Trap
Activate only when a face-up Synchro Monster you control is selected as an attack target. Destroy all Attack Position monsters your opponent controls.

Rating: 2
Comments: One of the few Mirror Force-related Trap Cards we don't have and with the original and a few beter ones released since this appeared in the anime, I think this'd need a buff to become playable.
Speed Spell - Synchro Defuse
Anime Normal Speed Spell
Activate only while you have 2 or more Speed Counters. Select 1 face-up Synchro Monster your opponent controls. Take control of it until the End Phase.

Rating: 2
Comments: Gaining control of a powerful Synchro Monster isn't all that bad, especially now with Brain Control unable to do so thanks to its new erratum but we still need Speed Counters first or this needs a revised effect.
Episode 73: Synchro Straits
Synchro Deception
Anime Normal Trap
Send 1 Synchro Monster from your Extra Deck to the Graveyard. If you control face-up monsters that could be used to Synchro Summon that Synchro Monster, 1 other face-up monster you control gains ATK equal to half the ATK of the Synchro Monster, until the End Phase. Monsters you control cannot attack this turn, except the monster that gained ATK by this effect.

Comments: You'd be wasting a good Synchro Monster when the materials are right on the field, or just wasting the good Synchro and Deck space otherwise because the effects are very situational and rely entirely on you having other monsters out.
Episode 72: French Twist (2)
Speed Spell - High Speed Crash
Anime Normal Speed Spell
Activate only while you have 2 or more Speed Counters. Destroy 1 card you control and 1 other card on the field.

Rating: 1
Comments: It'd need more than that to become useful because we have other ways of destroying multiple cards without needing Speed Counters.
Sacred Knight's Shield-Bearer
LIGHT / Warrior / Level 4 / ATK 800 / DEF 1300
You can remove from play 1 "Sacred Knight" monster from your Graveyard to draw 1 card.

Rating: 2
Comments: I have little doubt that this'd become a Noble Knights monster upon release just as Noble Knight Joan did and thus get more use but still, it's not very good since it wastes your Grave's resources to add to your hand's resources and isn't very strong.
Chain Close
Anime Counter Trap
Activate only when a card on the field is destroyed. Your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards, until the End Phase. Spell and Trap Cards cannot be activated in response to this card's activation.
COMMON
Rating: 3
Comments: An easy activation requirement since many cards already released destroy cards and then your opponent is locked out from using their Spell/Trap Cards and can't respond with them against this either.
Synchro Out
Anime Normal Trap
Select 1 face-up Synchro Monster you control. Return that monster to the Extra Deck. Then, if all the Synchro Material Monsters that were used for the Synchro Summon of that monster are in your Graveyard, Special Summon them. Destroy them during the End Phase.
COMMON

Comments: I think De-Synchro was meant to be the actual release of this card considering it does the same thing except the monsters aren't destroyed and it works with either players' Synchro Monster.
For Our Dreams
Anime Normal Trap
Activate only when a monster you control would be destroyed by battle. Tribute 1 other monster you control instead.
COMMON

Comments: It's not worth protecting one monster by Tributing another considering you lose a monster either way. 
Episode 71: French Twist (1)
Apprentice Knight

A girl who rushed to the battlefield due to her father's illness. No one has noticed she is actually a woman.

Comments: No one probably cared that she was a woman because she'd be no threat to anyone, namely the opposition, which would've promptly taken her down in a single hit as would most monsters released today.
Fleur Guard
Anime Normal Trap
Select 1 face-up monster you control. This turn, it cannot be destroyed by battle.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Cards that prevent destruction in battle already exist, which is probably why this hasn't been released as a real card yet but even so, it's not all that bad. 
Centaur Mina
LIGHT / Beast-Warrior-Type Fusion / Level 6 / ATK 2200 / DEF 1600
"Sacred Knight's Spearholder" + "Horse of the Floral Knights"
Once during each of your turns, you can negate the activation of an opponent's Trap Card, and return it to its original position.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Stopping Trap Cards when it attacks will increase its chances for a successful attack since mostly Spell/Trap Cards are activated during the Battle Phase, though that still does leave Spells and Effect Monsters to harm it and it's not that strong to begin with.
Horse of the Floral Knights
WIND / Beast / Level 3 / ATK 400 / DEF 800
When this card is Normal Summoned, you can draw 1 card.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: It wastes your Normal Summon just to let you draw 1 card and leaves you that much more vulnerable whereas Skelengel is Set face-down and is also searchable with more cards than this.
Floral Shield
Anime Normal Trap
Activate only when your opponent's monster declares an attack. Negate the attack, and draw 1 card.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: We sort-of have this as Defense Draw but that card still allows monsters that attacked to use any effects that result from it like Gladiator Beasts whereas this one does not.
Sacred Knight's Spearholder
LIGHT / Warrior / Level 2 / ATK 800 / DEF 200
You can send this card from the field to the Graveyard to add 1 Equip Spell Card from your Deck to your hand.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: You'd be better off with Hidden Armory because while that takes out your Normal Summon, it doesn't waste a monster and may help fill your Graveyard too.
Episode 70: The Wicked Spirit (Continued)
Morphtronic Impact Return
Anime Normal Trap
Select up to 2 Spell or Trap Cards your opponent controls. Return the selected card(s) to the hand, and return 1 "Morphtronic" monster from your hand to the Deck.

Comments: At best, Morphtronics have proven to be a minor nuiscance so they still need more support to become a top tier Deck, though this may help somewhat.
