(Common)

Revives itself only when you're pretty much wide open to attacks. Call of the Haunted is  much better.

(Warrior / Effect)

When this face-up card is removed from play, Special Summon it during the End Phase.

Not many monsters bring themselves back to the field, and have this high ATK or better.

A hand with Arthritis. Better see a doctor so it can actually become useful.

Manju
of the Ten Thousand Hands
LIGHT / Effect Monster / Level 4 / ATK 1400 / DEF 1000
(Fairy / Effect)

When this card is Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned, you can add 1 Ritual Monster Card or 1 Ritual Spell Card from your Deck to your hand.
(Common)
Rating: 2 out of 5
Twice as good as Senju, but only because Senju is so specific.
Game Four (CP04-EN016)
Robbin' Goblin

TRAP / Continuous Trap
Each time a monster you control inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent, your opponent discards 1 random card.
(Common)
Rating: 1 out of 5
Robbed of any real value with the effect.
Game Four (CP04-EN015)
Gigantes

EARTH / Effect Monster / Level 4 / ATK 1900 / DEF 1300

The stats are decent, but the Summon requirement and bad effect take all the fun away.
Game Four (CP04-EN014)
Grand Tiki Elder

DARK / Normal Monster / Level 4 / ATK 1500 / DEF 800
(Fiend / Normal)

A masked monster that wields the most deadly of curses.
(Common)
Rating: 1 out of 5
This time it's a reprint, but it's as bad as the imports. (#12)
Game Four (CP04-EN013)

WATER / Effect Monster / Level 4 / ATK 1400 / DEF 1000

Whatever you pick has to be in Attack Mode, but you can use other copies to keep a monster out.
Game Four (CP04-EN012)
Soul Exchange

SPELL / Normal Spell
Select 1 monster your opponent controls. This turn, if you would Tribute a monster you control. Tribute the selected monster instead. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase during the turn that you activate this card.

Stealing (#19) monsters is generally dead so this may be about the best we can do.
Game Four (CP04-EN011)
Magician's Circle

TRAP / Normal Trap

Talk about risk. Magical Dimension (#11) is much better.

(Machine / Effect)

When battling a Warrior-Type monster, this card gains 2000 ATK and DEF during damage calculation only.

Attribute doesn't really matter here as it's the DEF that gives it any real staying power.
Game Four (CP04-EN009)
Return from the Different Dimension

TRAP / Normal Trap
Pay half of your Life Points. Special Summon as many of your monsters as possible that have been removed from play. During the End Phase, remove from play all monsters that were Special Summoned by this effect.

Costs as much as Solemn Judgment (#8), but for up to 5 monsters at once.
Game Four (CP04-EN008)
Divine Sword - Phoenix Blade

We took an early Equip Card (#21) and allowed it to recycle itself for a pretty steep price.
Game Four (CP04-EN007)
Freed the Brave Wanderer

LIGHT / Effect Monster / Level 4 / ATK 1700 / DEF 1200
(Warrior / Effect)

Once per turn, you can remove from play 2 LIGHT monsters in your Graveyard to destroy 1 face-up monster on the field with higher ATK then this card.
(Rare)
Rating: 1 out of 5
Tribute to the Doomed (#35) can do better for a single card in your hand.
Game Four (CP04-EN006)
Confiscation

SPELL / Normal Spell
Pay 1000 Life Points. Look at your opponent's hand, select 1 card in it, and discard that card.

Already been confiscated despite the high risk and activation fee.

Still isn't going to win battles as a foil.
Game Four (CP04-EN004)
Apprentice Magician

DARK / Effect Monster / Level 2 / ATK 400 / DEF 800
(Spellcaster / Effect)

When this card is Summoned, put 1 Spell Counter on a face-up card that you can put a Spell Counter on. If this card is destroyed by battle, you can select 1 Level 2 or lower Spellcaster-Type monster from your Deck and Special Summon it in face-down Defense Position.
(Super Rare)

No need for this when Nimble Momonga (#72) can defend you twice as well.

When your opponent Summons a monster(s) with an ATK of 1500 or more, destroy and remove from play the monster(s).
(Super Rare)

UDE was much too kind for its rarity back in LOD. Much better than past foils in these packs.
Game Four (CP04-EN002)
Ultimate Offering

TRAP / Continuous Trap
You can pay 500 Life Points to Normal Summon or Set 1 extra monster. You can only activate this effect during your Main Phase or your opponent's Battle Phase.

I'd like to see the criteria that determined what was foil in these packs.
Game Four (CP04-EN001)
Gernia

We stripped Vampire Lord (SD2 #3) of pretty much all benefits.
