How Old and When?

You may have noticed I can be inconsistant about when I re-rate old Yu-Gi-Oh cards. It comes down to whether the card is from an older set vs. being released as part of a new set, and how big said set is. For example, in Age of Overlord, I re-reviewed Magicians of Bonds and Unity a second time. In most cases, I'd have skipped it, but this was before I was sure on whether I wanted to re-review cards like I did way back when. Another case is when the wording has changed regarding the card's intended purpose. Goyo Guardian is a prime example as mentioned below. Its TDGS, effects read:
1 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon that monster to your side of the field in face-up Defense Position.
In DUSA, it was reprinted with a minor update:
1 EARTH Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monsters
When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon that monster to your field in Defense Position.
It's easy to overlook the change, but it now requires an EARTH Tuner monster instead of having generic materials like before. Obviously I can also re-review it if the card got a total overhaul like Crush Card Virus did (MIL1 #47). It really depends on the change and how it affects the card being played.
