Structure Deck New Card Ratings (Page 6)

Structure Deck: Cyberse Link
SDCL-EN043
Card Type: Link Monster
Card Info Binary Sorceress
EARTH / Cyberse-Type Link / ATK 1600 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Left and Right
2 monsters, except Tokens
This card gains these effects based on the number of monsters co-linked to this card.
● 1+: When a monster co-linked to this card battles your opponent's monster and inflicts battle damage to them: You can gain that much LP.
● 2: Once per turn (Quick Effect): You can target 2 face-up monsters you control; until the end of this turn, halve the ATK of 1 monster, and if you do, add that lost ATK the other monster.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Tri-Gate Wizard was at least as strong as Encode Talker and others. This monster is quite a bit weaker and doesn't have the effects to really make up for it.
SDCL-EN042
Card Type: Link Monster
Card Info Tri-Gate Wizard
EARTH / Cyberse-Type Link / ATK 2300 / Link-3
Active Link Arrow(s): Top, Left and Right
2+ monsters, except Tokens
This card gains these effects based on the number of monsters co-linked to this card.
● 1+: If a monster co-linked to this card battles your opponent's monster, any battle damage it inflicts to your opponent is doubled.
● 2+: Once per turn: You can target 1 card on the field; banish it.
● 3: Once per turn, when a card or effect is activated (Quick Effect): You can negate the activation, and if you do, banish that card.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Co-linked implies it has to be linked to another Link Monster and vice-versa but the effects aren't all that bad if you managed to do it. However, while it's also pretty easy to Summon, it's not any stronger than Encode Talker.
SDCL-EN041
Card Type: Link Monster
Card Info Encode Talker
LIGHT / Cyberse-Type Link / ATK 2300 / Link-3
Active Link Arrow(s): Top, Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right
2+ Cyberse monsters
Once per turn, before damage calculation, if your monster this card points to battles an opponent's monster with higher ATK than it: You can make that monster unable to be destroyed by that battle, also you take no battle damage from that battle. After that damage calculation, have this card or 1 monster it points to gain ATK equal to the ATK of that battled opponent's monster, until the end of this turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Restricted to Cyberse Link Materials and helps your opponent out too as their monster may also be pointed to by this card. Plus, the ATK it gains or gives to another monster doesn't last long. It's also no stronger than Decode Talker.
SDCL-EN032
Card Type: Trap Card
Card Info Recoded Alive
Normal Trap
Target 1 Link-3 Cyberse Link Monster you control or is in your GY; banish it, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Code Talker" monster from your Extra Deck. If you control no monsters in the Extra Monster Zone: You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 of your banished "Code Talker" monsters; Special Summon it.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Regardless of how good Code Talker Link Monsters get, this isn't the way to bring any of them out.
SDCL-EN023
Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Cynet Backdoor
Quick-Play Spell
Target 1 Cyberse monster you control; banish it, and if you do, add 1 Cyberse monster from your Deck to your hand, whose ATK is lower than that monster's original ATK. During your next Standby Phase, return that monster banished by this effect to the field, and it can attack directly that turn. You can only activate 1 "Cynet Backdoor" per turn.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: You'll have to do without the banished monster for one turn but at least the monster comes back and gets to attack directly that turn. Still, much less dangerous than a computer backdoor.
SDCL-EN008
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Dual Assembwurm
DARK / Cyberse / Level 8 / ATK 2800 / DEF 1000
If this card is in your hand or GY: You can banish 2 other Cyberse monsters from your hand and/or face-up from your field; Special Summon this card, but its ATK becomes halved. You can only use this effect of "Dual Assembwurm" once per turn. Once per turn: You can banish 1 card from your hand; banish 1 monster on the field with ATK less than or equal to this card's.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: I don't recommend Special Summoning it by its effect but even then, it has uses with Synchro, Xyz and Link Summons.
SDCL-EN007
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Boot Staggered
LIGHT / Cyberse / Level 5 / ATK 2300 / DEF 500
When a Cyberse monster is Normal Summoned to your field: You can Special Summon this card from your hand. You can only use this effect of "Boot Staggered" once per turn. When this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: You can Special Summon 1 "Stag Token" (Cyberse/EARTH/Level 1/
ATK 0/DEF 0).
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It'd be pretty easy to Normal Summon a Cyberse monster, including another copy of this guy but it's not the best strategy. The other effect has a better chance of success but not by much.
SDCL-EN006
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info ROM Cloudia
DARK / Cyberse / Level 4 / ATK 1800 / DEF 0
When this card is Normal Summoned: You can target 1 Cyberse monster in your GY, except "ROM Cloudia"; add it to your hand. If this card is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Cyberse monster from your Deck, except "ROM Cloudia".
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Almost good enough to be on its own but both effects are restricted to its kind and it has no DEF to help it or you if in Defense Mode.
SDCL-EN005
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Balancer Lord
LIGHT / Cyberse / Level 4 / ATK 1700 / DEF 1200
Once per turn: You can pay 1000 LP; during your Main Phase this turn, you can Normal Summon 1 Cyberse monster, in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.) If this card is banished: You can Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower monster from your hand. You can only use this effect of "Balancer Lord" once per turn.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Both effects aren't too bad and make for easy Xyz, Synchro or Link Summons but not much else. Plus getting that 2nd monster out costs you 1000 LP, which can be done better with Double Summon.
SDCL-EN004
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Backlinker
DARK / Cyberse / Level 3 / ATK 1600 / DEF 0
If only your opponent controls a monster in the Extra Monster Zone, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can Tribute this card; shuffle all monsters from the Extra Monster Zones into the Deck, also you cannot Special Summon monsters from the Extra Deck for the rest of this turn.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It's likely you'll encounter an Extra Deck monster in the Extra Monster Zone with Link Monsters now among them but it offers nothing against non-Extra Deck monsters and its stats don't make it very good on its own.
SDCL-EN003
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Cliant
LIGHT / Cyberse / Level 3 / ATK 1500 / DEF 1500
While this Normal Summoned/Set card is face-up on the field, all Cyberse monsters you control gain 500 ATK/DEF during your turn only. If this card on the field would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can destroy 1 Cyberse monster in your hand or face-up on your field instead.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It powers up itself and its friends a bit but only durng your turns and with only 1500 ATK and DEF to start, it's going to be quite vulnerable as will its friends.
SDCL-EN002
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Dotscaper
EARTH / Cyberse / Level 1 / ATK 0 / DEF 2100
If this card is sent to the GY: You can Special Summon this card. If this card is banished: You can Special Summon this card. You can only use 1 "Dotscaper" effect per turn, and only once that turn. You can only use each effect of "Dotscaper" once per Duel.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Too bad both effects can be used once per Duel, which makes both effects pointless in 2s or 3s but it still can defend your LP for a while.
SDCL-EN001
Card Type: Normal Monster
Card Info Digitron
EARTH / Cyberse / Level 2 / ATK 1500 / DEF 0
A subspecies found in electronic space. There's little information on it.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: All the information you need to conclude it sucks is right here. It's literally space junk.
Legendary Dragon Decks (Dimensional Dragons Deck)
LEDD-ENC00
Card Info Odd-Eyes Arc Pendulum Dragon
DARK / Dragon-Type Pendulum / Level 7 / ATK 2700 / DEF 2000 / Scale 8
If an "Odd-Eyes" card(s) you control is destroyed by battle or card effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Odd-Eyes" monster from your hand, Deck, or GY. You can only use this effect of "Odd-Eyes Arc Pendulum Dragon" once per turn.
Made from miracles, this valiant and beautiful dragon has gleaming eyes that reflect an arc drawn in the sky.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: I'll give it some credit for its high Scale and Pendulum Text that works on itself but it's literally only marginally stronger than Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon.
Legendary Dragon Decks (Cyber Dragon Deck)
LEDD-ENB00
Card Type: Fusion Monster
Card Info Chimeratech Megafleet Dragon
DARK / Machine-Type Fusion / Level 10 / ATK 0 / DEF 0
1 "Cyber Dragon" monster + 1+ monsters in the Extra Monster Zone
Cannot be used as Fusion Material. Must first be Special Summoned (from your Extra Deck) by sending the above cards from either field to the GY. (You do not use "Polymerization".) The original ATK of this card becomes 1200 x the number of Fusion Materials used for its Special Summon.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Having it rely on the Extra Monster Zone, which is up to 2 slots, means that its highest possible ATK is 3600. For that, you don't really get anything out of it. Its DEF stays at 0 and has too many side-effects. Plus if you revive it later, it has no ATK points. There's really nothing legendary about it.
Legendary Dragon Decks (Atlantis Deck)
LEDD-ENA00
Card Type: Fusion Monster
Card Info Dark Magician the Dragon Knight
DARK / Dragon-Type Fusion / Level 8 / ATK 3000 / DEF 2500
"Dark Magician" + 1 Dragon monster
This card's name becomes "Dark Magician" while on the field or in the GY. Your opponent cannot target Spells/Traps you control with card effects, also they cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Its name becomes Dark Magician while on the field or in the Grave, making cards specific to Dark Magician usable but the only worthwhile effect is the 2nd one and if you want to bring this out easy, you'll need Dark Magician himself and The Eye of Timaeus.
Dinosmasher's Fury Structure Deck
SR04-EN030
Card Type: Trap Card
Card Info Survival's End
Normal Trap
Destroy as many Normal Monsters on the field as possible, and if you do, Special Summon Level 4 or lower Dinosaur-Type monsters from your Deck, up to the number destroyed, but destroy them during the End Phase. You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 Dinosaur-Type monster you control and 1 card your opponent controls; destroy them.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: This probably won't help you much in most cases, though it works with any Normal Monsters. Still, I wouldn't really risk it with this because whatever Dinos you bring out wi th this don't stay long and the very last effect isn't that great either.
SR04-EN021
Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Lost World
Field Spell
All monsters on the field lose 500 ATK and DEF, except Dinosaur-Type monsters. Once per turn, if a Dinosaur-Type monster is Normal or Special Summoned (except during the Damage Step): You can Special Summon 1 "Jurraegg Token" (Dinosaur-Type/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) to your opponent's field in Defense Position. While your opponent controls a Token, they cannot target monsters on the field with card effects, except Tokens. Once per turn, if a Normal Monster(s) on the field would be destroyed by battle or card effect, you can destroy that many Dinosaur-Type monsters in your hand and/or Deck instead.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Your opponent probably won't keep the Token for long as they're given it for free once a Dinosaur is Normal or Special Summoned. The ATK and DEF loss isn't very much but may help if you control one of the stronger Dinos like Black Tyranno. The last effect only applies to Normal Monsters, though and will cost you Dinosaur monsters just to save those monsters.
SR04-EN006
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Ultimate Tyranno
EARTH / Dinosaur / Level 8 / ATK 3000 / DEF 2200
This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls, once each. During your Battle Phase, if you control an "Ultimate Tyranno" that can attack, monsters other than "Ultimate Tyranno" cannot attack.
COMMON
Rating: 3
Comments: The loop used by Syrus and Hassleberry the 2nd season of the GX Anime that uses this card is no more and you're free to attack with it however you like. The catch is now that your other monsters can't do as much while this guy is able to attack.
SR04-EN003
Card Type: Normal Monster
Card Info Megalosmasher X
WATER / Dinosaur / Level 4 / ATK 2000 / DEF 0
With its sound-baffling armor and gargantuan jaws, this primeval predator's phosphorescence was the only possible pardon for its primitive prey.
COMMON
Rating: 3
Comments: While in Attack Mode, its 2000 ATK will probably take down most opposition of its Level or less but that 0 DEF will still leave it vulnerable to weaker opposition whle in Defense Mode.
SR04-EN002
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Souleating Oviraptor
DARK / Dinosaur / Level 4 / ATK 1800 / DEF 500
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can take 1 Dinosaur-Type monster from your Deck, and either add it to your hand or send it to the Graveyard. You can target 1 other Level 4 or lower Dinosaur-Type monster on the field; destroy it, then Special Summon 1 Dinosaur-Type monster from your Graveyard in Defense Position. You can only use each effect of "Souleating Oviraptor" once per turn.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 3
Comments: Being able to have access to any Dinosaur in your Deck really helps you out, especially with the likes of Super Conductor Tyranno, Ultimate Conductor Tyranno and Ultimate Tyranno to choose from. The other effect isn't all that good but this guy's ATK and low Level sure are.
SR04-EN001
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Ultimate Conductor Tyranno
LIGHT / Dinosaur / Level 10 / ATK 3500 / DEF 3200
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must first be Special Summoned (from your hand) by banishing 2 Dinosaur-Type monsters from your Graveyard. Once per turn, during either player's Main Phase: You can destroy 1 monster in your hand or field, and if you do, change all face-up monsters your opponent controls to face-down Defense Position. This card can attack all monsters your opponent controls, once each. At the start of the Damage Step, if this card attacks a Defense Position monster: You can inflict 1000 damage to your opponent, and if you do, send that Defense Position monster to the Graveyard.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 3
Comments: Relatively easy to Summon and its 2nd effect can set you up to deal major damage with the 3rd effect by striking down all your opponent's monsters in one Battle Phase for the mere price of one monster in your hand. Plus you can then later bring it back and repeat the process.
SR04-EN000
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Petiteranodon
EARTH / Dinosaur / Level 2 / ATK 500 / DEF 500
If this card is destroyed by a card effect and sent to the Graveyard: Special Summon 1 Level 4 or higher Dinosaur-Type monster from your Deck, but it cannot attack this turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: The effect gives you lots to choose from but only if destroyed and sent to the Grave by a card effect.
Machine Reactor Structure Deck
SR03-EN022
Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Ancient Gear Fortress
Continuous Spell
During the turn they were Normal or Special Summoned, your opponent cannot target "Ancient Gear" monsters you control with card effects, and they cannot be destroyed by your opponent's card effects. Your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to the activation of "Ancient Gear" cards and effects. If this card is destroyed in the Spell & Trap Zone: You can Special Summon 1 "Ancient Gear" monster from your hand or Graveyard, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except "Ancient Gear" monsters.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Ancient Gear monsters have long-awated support like this because up until now, they really didn't have much protection. This allows them to hit the field and use their effects without fear that turn. Plus bringing out any Ancient Gear monster from virtually anywhere in your possession once this gets destroyed isn't that bad, even if you're only allowed to Special Summon Ancient Gears that turn.
SR03-EN021
Card Type: Spell Card
Card Info Ancient Gear Catapult
Normal Spell
While you control no monsters: Target 1 face-up card you control; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Ancient Gear" monster from your Deck, ignoring its Summoning conditions. You can banish this card from your Graveyard, then target 1 face-up card you control; destroy it, and if you do, Special Summon 1 "Ancient Gear Token" (Machine-Type/EARTH/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0). You can only use 1 "Ancient Gear Catapult" effect per turn, and only once that turn.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Even Gear Golem and Gadjiltron Dragon can be brought out with this and it can help get rid of a card that is hurting your chances at victory or just unneeded, though I wouldn't recommend getting rid of one of your cards to get a Token, unless that destroyed card can benefit you when destroyed.
SR03-EN003
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Ancient Gear Wyvern
EARTH / Machine / Level 4 / ATK 1700 / DEF 1200
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Ancient Gear" card from your Deck to your hand, except "Ancient Gear Wyvern", also you cannot Set cards for the rest of this turn. You can only use this effect of "Ancient Gear Wyvern" once per turn. If this card attacks, your opponent's monsters cannot activate their effects until the end of the Damage Step.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Being unable to Set cards the turn you get an Ancient Gear card with its effect does hurt you quite a but since you'll be quite vulnerable if you don't have any cards Set beforehand. Plus with only 1700 ATK, it's quite vulerable too.
SR03-EN002
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Ancient Gear Hydra
EARTH / Machine / Level 7 / ATK 2700 / DEF 1700
At the end of the Damage Step, when this card that was Tribute Summoned by Tributing an "Ancient Gear" monster battles an opponent's monster, but the opponent's monster was not destroyed by the battle: You can banish that opponent's monster. If this card was Tribute Summoned by Tributing a "Gadget" monster, it can attack all monsters your opponent controls, once each. If an "Ancient Gear" monster you control attacks, your opponent's Spell/Trap Cards and monster effects cannot be activated until the end of the Damage Step.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Like Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon, this guy won't help you much unless you meet the criteria for the first two effect(s) it has to offer but while weaker, at least it comes with the last effect that Reactor Dragon has and can rid the field of a pesky opponent's monster that survived an attack from it.
SR03-EN001
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon
EARTH / Machine / Level 9 / ATK 3000 / DEF 3000
If this card that was Tribute Summoned by Tributing an "Ancient Gear" monster attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. If this card was Tribute Summoned by Tributing a "Gadget" monster, it can make a second attack during each Battle Phase. If this card attacks, your opponent's Spell/Trap Cards and monster effects cannot be activated until the end of the Damage Step. At the end of the Damage Step, if this card attacked: You can destroy 1 Spell/Trap Card on the field.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 3
Comments: It has to be Tribute Summoned with an Ancient Gear monster to gain even the 1st effect or a Gadget monster obtain the 2nd but it still has 3000 ATK and DEF and can be Summoned any way you like to have worry-free attacks.
SR03-EN000
Card Type: Effect Monster
Card Info Ancient Gear Gadget
EARTH / Machine / Level 4 / ATK 500 / DEF 2000
If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can declare 1 card type (Monster, Spell, or Trap); this turn, if a monster you control attacks, your opponent's Spell Cards, Trap Cards, or monster effects (whichever was declared) cannot be activated until the end of the Damage Step. Once per turn: You can declare 1 "Gadget" monster's card name; until the End Phase, this card's name becomes that name.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Its DEF will aid in its survival but its effects are rather mediocre since it'll only stop the type of card that you declare and only during the Damage Step. The other effect doesn't do much good either, except maybe to obtain the bonus effects for the Gadjiltron Dragon or Chimera.
