Yu-Gi-Oh Anime Cards (Page 86)

*Card effects below are as accurate as possible.
Episode 139: The Source Code
Chaos Number 1: Numeron Chaos Gate Sunya
DARK / Machine-Type Xyz / Rank 2 / ATK 2000 / DEF 100
4 Level 2 monsters
This card cannot be destroyed by battle except with "Number" monsters. If "Numeron Network" is face-up on the field, you can also Xyz Summon this card by using a "Number 1: Numeron Gate Ekam" you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) If "Numeron Network" is not face-up on the field, destroy this card. When this card is Xyz Summoned, remove from play all monsters on the field. During your next Standby Phase after this card was removed from play by this effect, Special Summon this removed from play card. Then, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to inflict damage to your opponent equal to the combined ATK on the field of all monsters removed from play by this card's effect.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: A pretty strong Rank 2 Xyz Monster with some pretty decent effects, except that it needs the near-useless Field Spell just to stay on the field and make it easier to Xyz Summon.
Cutter Shark
WATER / Fish / Level 5 / ATK 2000 / DEF 2000
When a monster you control is selected as an attack target, you can Tribute that monster, then Special Summon this card from your hand in face-up Defense Position.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: The only effect it has is to Tribute a monster that is probably going to bite the dust for itself and that risks you losing a monster before the attack finishes and if that's your only monster, you're now open to a direct attack. Its stats aren't that great either.
Number 1: Numeron Gate Ekam
LIGHT / Machine-Type Xyz / Rank 1 / ATK 1000 / DEF 100
3 Level 1 monsters
This card cannot be destroyed by battle except with "Number" monsters. After damage calculation, when this card battles, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to double the ATK of all "Numeron" monsters you control.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Same as Number 4: Numeron Gate Catvari's comments.
Number 2: Numeron Gate Dve
LIGHT / Machine-Type Xyz / Rank 1 / ATK 1000 / DEF 100
3 Level 1 monsters
This card cannot be destroyed by battle except with "Number" monsters. After damage calculation, when this card battles, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to double the ATK of all "Numeron" monsters you control.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Same as Number 4: Numeron Gate Catvari's comments.
Number 3: Numeron Gate Trini
LIGHT / Machine-Type Xyz / Rank 1 / ATK 1000 / DEF 100
3 Level 1 monsters
This card cannot be destroyed by battle except with "Number" monsters. After damage calculation, when this card battles, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to double the ATK of all "Numeron" monsters you control.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Same as Number 4: Numeron Gate Catvari's comments.
Number 4: Numeron Gate Catvari
LIGHT / Machine-Type Xyz / Rank 1 / ATK 1000 / DEF 100
3 Level 1 monsters
This card cannot be destroyed by battle except with "Number" monsters. After damage calculation, when this card battles, you can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card to double the ATK of all "Numeron" monsters you control.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It's weak to start but given the effects, it's not all that bad, though it needs Xyz Materials to be a threat.
Numeron Calling
Anime Normal Spell
Activate only if "Numeron Network" is face-up on the field. Special Summon 4 "Numeron" Xyz Monsters with 1000 or less ATK from your Extra Deck. During the End Phase, remove from play all monsters that were Special Summoned by this effect.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: There'd be no point in calling four useless Xyz Monsters (or even having them in your Extra Deck for that matter) that can't do anything and probably won't win you the Duel on their own. Plus using this requires the nearly useless Numeron Network.
Episode 138: The New World
Numeron Xyz Revsion
Anime Counter Trap
Activate only when your opponent would Xyz Summon a monster and you control no other cards in your Monster Card Zone and Spell & Trap Card Zone. Negate the Summon and destroy that monster, then choose 1 monster in your opponent's Deck and Special Summon it to their side of the field. Its effects are negated.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Much like Numeron Spell Revision, this card would certainly need a revision to make it even remotely playable.
Card of the Dragon King
Anime Normal Spell
Tribute all Dragon-Type monsters you control. Take damage equal to the combined ATK of those monsters, then draw 1 card for each monster Tributed this way.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Far too costly to be worthwhile as you'll either need to Tribute a bunch of weak Dragon-Type monsters to draw multiple cards or just one to draw 1 card. Plus, it's restricted to only them for any uses.
Numeron Spell Revision
Anime Counter Trap
Activate only when your opponent activates a Spell Card and you control no other cards in your Monster Card Zone and Spell & Trap Card Zone. Negate the activation and effect of that card, then choose 1 Spell Card in your opponent's Deck that can be activated at this time and activate it on their side of the field.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Don Thousand was able to make use of the effect but only because he already controlled Numeron Network, which is already situational.
Dragon King's Demise
Anime Normal Spell
Tribute all monsters you control. Inflict damage to both players equal to the combined ATK of all Dragon-Type monsters Tributed this way.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Unless you can reduce the damage to your LP to 0 or get your opponent's LP lower than yours, you're going to be worse off than your opponent.
Galaxy Wrath
Anime Normal Spell
Activate only during your Main Phase 1. Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower Dragon-Type monster from your hand. You cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn you activate this card.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It's really only ideal in situations where you can't attack like the first turn of the Duel but there are uses for it either way.
Numeron Network
Anime Field Spell
During your opponent's Draw Phase, if you control no cards, you can activate this card from your hand. Once per turn, during either player's turn, if you control no other cards, you can activate the effect of 1 "Numeron" card from your Deck, then send that card to the Graveyard. "Numeron" Xyz Monsters do not have to detach an Xyz Material(s) to activate an effect that is activated by detaching their own Xyz Material(s).
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Though it's quite risky to activate and use the effect when you control no cards, the effect could be quite useful if Konami gives the cards good effects.
Episode 137: Clash of the Emperors
Overlay Burglary
Anime Counter Trap
Activate only when a face-up Xyz Monster you control is selected as an attack by an opponent's Xyz Monster that has Xyz Material. Detach 1 Xyz Material from that opponent's monster, then attach it to your Xyz Monster as an Xyz Material.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It's pretty situational but there are good Xyz Monsters out there and this does let you take one of your opponent's Xyz Materials to give to your Xyz Monster.
Depth Biter
WATER / Fish / Level 5 / ATK 1800 / DEF 1000
If your opponent controls a face-up Xyz Monster, you can Normal Summon this card without Tributing.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: With its only effect being able to bypass having to Tribute a monster to Nornal Summon it and having the stats of most Level 4 monsters, it's just not worth using.
Infinity Tooth
Anime Normal Spell
Send 1 card from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard for each Xyz Material attached to a monster your opponent controls. Draw 1 card.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It'd have its uses with Graveyard-heavy Decks but that's about it.
Depth Gardna
Anime Normal Trap
Activate only during damage calculation if you would take battle damage from a direct attack. Make that damage 0, then Special Summon this card as an Effect Monster (Fish-Type/WATER/Level 5/ATK ?/DEF ?). (This card is also still a Trap Card.) This card's ATK and DEF become equal to the amount of battle damage you would have taken at the activation of this card.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Cards that activate against direct attacks are riskier to use but they often work out to your advantage but this card is slower than Battle Fader, whom also ends the Battle Phase.
Dream Shark
WATER / Fish / Level 5 / ATK 0 / DEF 2600
If you would take damage from a card effect while this card is in your Graveyard, you can make that damage become 0, then Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. If Summoned this way, remove from play this card when it is sent to the Graveyard. Once per turn, if this face-up card would be destroyed, you have it lose 1000 DEF instead.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Lacks ATK but at least has 2600 DEF, though using the effect will quickly drain that DEF and render this guy useless.
Trick Buster
Anime Normal Trap
Activate only when an opponent's monster declares an attack while you control no monsters. Destroy all Attack Position monsters your opponent controls, then inflict 300 damage to your opponent for each monster destroyed.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Riskier than regular Mirror Force but it does a bit more than Mirror Force too, though the damage probably won't be much.
Xyz Discharge
Anime Normal Trap
Your opponent sends 1 card from their hand to the Graveyard, then they gain control of all face-up Xyz Monsters you control.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: No excuse justifies using this as your opponent loses far less than they gain from you.
