Comments: It's not bad when you would take more than the cost to use this card's effect but once you get low, then it it no longer matters.
Episode 94: Heart of Ice (2)
White Blizzard
Anime Continuous Spell
If an opponent's monster is destroyed by battle, inflict 600 damage to your opponent. When this card is destroyed, select 1 card you control and destroy it.

Rating: 2
Comments: If you deal major damage to your opponent, then the extra 600 damage will help deepen your opponent's troubles and the other effect isn't too bad if they try to get out of trouble by destroying it.
Cold Sleeper
WATER / Machine / Level 4 / ATK 1100 / DEF 800
When a monster you control is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can select 1 of your unused Monster Card Zones. If you do, Special Summon the destroyed monster at the end of the Battle Phase. That monster cannot change its battle position. The selected Monster Card Zone cannot be used during this Duel.

Rating: 1
Comments: Its low stats mean it's going to bite the dust easily and whatever you get back is stuck in Attack Mode, not to mention has to wait until the end of the Battle Phase to make its apperance.

Select 1 of your unused Monster Card Zones, and Special Summon 1 "Icicle Token" (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0). That selected Monster Card Zone cannot be used during this Duel. The "Icicle Token" can be treated as 2 Tributes for the Tribute Summon of a monster.

Comments: You lose a Monster Card Zone but gain a token you can do pretty much what you want, even if its stats make attacking or defending with it pretty well useless.
Illusion Ice Sculpture
LIGHT / Rock / Level 1 / ATK 0 / DEF 0
When this card is Summoned, select 1 face-up monster you control. This card's ATK and DEF become equal to that monster's original ATK and DEF. While this card is face-up on the field, other monsters you control cannot be selected as attack targets. There can only be 1 face-up "Illusion Ice Sculpture" on the field.

Comments: Even if that other monster makes this card a powerhouse, it's still not worthwhile because its original ATK and DEF are 0. Plus, once you get back to those stats, it's exceptionally vulnerable and its effect draws your opponent's attacks to it.

Comments: It looks good at first glance but it applies to both players so when your opponent's turn comes, they'll basically get worry-free attacks.

Your opponent cannot activate Spell Cards from their hand, nor activate Spell Cards during the turn they are Set.

Rating: 1
Comments: Jaden had no reason to worry about this card because in spite of the fact it prevents him from using Spell Cards right away, its stats are far too feable to make it a threat.

Activate only when a Spell Card is activated. Remove from play all cards you control. During the turn you activate this card, you can draw 1 card and reveal it. If that card is of the same type (Spell, Trap, or Monster Card) as a card(s) removed from play by this effect, you can return one of the removed cards of the same type to your side of the field, in its original position.

Comments: Jaden only used this when Lucien Grimly was going to win with Slash Draw but since we won't be that lucky once let alone twice, there's no point in using this since you'll be at a further disadvantage than before the Spell Card was activated.
Invincible Demise Lord
DARK / Fiend / Level 6 / ATK 1300 / DEF 2000
Once per Duel, if this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, you can Special Summon it during the End Phase. If this card is Special Summoned by this effect, its ATK becomes 3000, and it cannot be destroyed by card effects.

Rating: 1
Comments: It may get 3000 ATK and become indestructible to card effects but all the copies in the world wouldn't do you any good since the effect can only be used once per Duel and its stats are pretty poor for a Level 6 monster.
Footsteps of the Goddess
Anime Normal Spell
Look at your opponent's hand, select 1 monster in it with an ATK of 1500 or less that can be Special Summoned, and Special Summon it to your opponent's side of the field in face-up Attack Position. You can then Special Summon 1 monster from your hand with 1500 or less ATK in face-up Attack Position. The monsters Special Summoned by this effect cannot attack this turn.

Comments: This was also around luck since Jaden has a fair amount of monsters that fit the requirements. You wouldn't be so lucky today.
Slash Draw
Anime Normal Spell
Send cards from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard equal to the total number of other cards on the field. Then, draw 1 card and reveal it. If that card is "Slash Draw", send it to the Graveyard to destroy all other cards on the field and inflict 1000 damage to your opponent for each card destroyed and sent to the Graveyard this way. This card's activation and effect cannot be negated.

Rating: 1
Comments: A negation-free activation is only good if the card effect it's accompanying is good too but this is such a risk that it's not even worth stopping because while Lucien Grimly was able to succeed, that was only because of his reaper friend and for us, we'd need to destroy 8 cards with this in most cases, which is just not likely.
Mischief of the Goddess
Anime Normal Spell
Look at your opponent's hand. If a Spell Card is in their hand, Set that card in 1 of your opponent's unused Spell & Trap Card Zones.

Rating: 1
Comments: It's a matter of luck whether your opponent has any Spell Cards and even if you now know what's in their hand and one card on their field, that doesn't really warrant using this.
Temptation of the Goddess
Anime Normal Spell
Look at your opponent's hand. If a Level 4 or lower monster is in their hand, you can Special Summon that monster to their side of the field in face-up Attack Position.

Rating: 1
Comments: The only reason Lucien Grimly used this was to rack up cards for an equally bad Slash Draw, which I think has less odds of success than Destiny Board or Exodia.

Activate only if you control "Big Vintage Magna Mutton". If an opponent's Level 7 or lower monster declares an attack, your opponent takes any Battle Damage you would have taken from that attack. If you do not control a face-up "Big Vintage Magna Mutton", destroy this card.

Rating: 2
Comments: It offers a pretty wide range of monsters to hurt your opponent with when they attack but requires the sub-par monster below for its activation and self-destructs if that monster isn't on your field.

During each of your Standby Phases, this card gains 1000 ATK.

Comments: I'd hope there's more to it but we'll probably never know since the card's actual image is far too small to make out anything else.
Foaming Beauty
LIGHT / Aqua / Level 4 / ATK 1200 / DEF 1200
FLIP: Select 1 face-up monster. It loses 1000 ATK.

Rating: 2
Comments: The ATK loss might be enough to either save you large direct damage or your monster's destruction in battle but she doesn't do anything else and is pretty weak.
Divine Chalice
Anime Quick-Play Spell
Activate only if you control a face-up WATER monster. Special Summon 1 "Crimson Token" (Aqua-Type/WATER/Level 3/ATK 1000/DEF 1000).
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It's a Quick-Play Spell but only works if you control a WATER monster, which limits its uses.
Illegal Summon
Anime Continuous Spell
Each player chooses 1 Level 4 or lower monster from their Deck and Special Summons it to their opponent's side of the field. Your opponent chooses the battle positions of these monsters.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Not only is the current proposed effect not once per turn but giving your opponent anything they didn't work for is pretty bad, especially since your opponent gets to choose the battle positions of both monsters.
Episode 89: The Darkness Within
Power Wall
Anime Normal Trap
Activate only when an opponent's monster declares an attack. Send any number of cards from the top of your Deck to the Graveyard. Decrease the amount of Battle Damage by 100 for each card you sent to the Graveyard by this effect.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Even if we got it today, it could be at 3 and still suck because you're depleting your Deck just to reduce Battle Damage and get minimal benefits from effects that activate in the Graveyard.
Dragon Heart
Anime Normal Spell
Send 3 Dragon-Type monsters from your Deck to the Graveyard to select 1 Dragon-Type monster you control. It gains 1000 ATK until the End Phase. You cannot Normal Summon or Set this turn.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: It may have helped power up Atticus Rhodes' Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon but it's a poor way to do it since the 1000 ATK boost doesn't last and you're prevented from Normal Summoning or Setting monsters that turn.
