SAST-EN059
Trickstar Fusion
Normal Spell
Fusion Summon 1 "Trickstar" Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand or field as Fusion Material. You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 “Trickstar” monster in your GY; add it to your hand, but you cannot Normal Summon/Set or Special Summon monsters with that name for the rest of this turn.
RARE
Rating:
Comments: Not like you're missing out on Fusion Summoning without this card as Polymerization does the same thing without the dumb last effect at the end and isn't restrained to Trickstars.
SAST-EN058
Trickstar Live Stage
Field Spell
When this card is activated: You can add 1 “Trickstar” monster from your GY to your hand. You can only use each of the following effects of "Trickstar Live Stage" once per turn, also you cannot Special Summon monsters the turn you activate these effects, except “Trickstar” monsters (even if this card leaves the field).
● If you control a “Trickstar” Link Monster: You can Special Summon 1 “Trickstar Token” (Fairy/LIGHT/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0).
● If your opponent controls a card in their Spell & Trap Zone: You can Special Summon 1 “Trickstar Token”.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: With real live concerts, you're not missing much because there's so much background noise that the music is drowned out and everyone is fangirling/fanboying their favorite band member(s). Here, it's pretty similar as the effects are pretty underwhelming with only the very first effect being notable.
SAST-EN057
Fusion of Fire
Normal Spell
(This card is always treated as a “Salamangreat” card.)
Fusion Summon 1 “Salamangreat” Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, using monsters from your hand and/or either field as Fusion Material. You can only activate 1 "Fusion of Fire" per turn.
RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: This helps bring out Salamangreat Fusions but only them.
SAST-EN056
Hiita the Fire Charmer, Ablaze
FIRE / Spellcaster-Type Link / ATK 1850 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right
2 monsters, including a FIRE monster.
(This card is always treated as a “Familiar-Possessed” card.)
You can target 1 FIRE monster in your opponent’s GY; Special Summon it to your zone this card points to. If this Link Summoned card is destroyed by battle, or destroyed by an opponent’s card effect while in its owner's Monster Zone: You can add 1 FIRE monster with 1500 or less DEF from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Hiita the Fire Charmer, Ablaze" once per turn.
RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: The odds of your opponent having a FIRE monster in their Grave is pretty low but the other effect is possibly useful in a FIRE Deck. Still, for 2 monsters, it's not very strong compared to the original, which needs none.
SAST-EN055
Sky Striker Ace - Kaina
EARTH / Machine-Type Link / ATK 1500 / Link-1
Active Link Arrow(s): Bottom-Right
1 non-EARTH "Sky Striker Ace" monster
If this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; it cannot attack until the end of your opponent's turn. Each time you activate a “Sky Striker” Spell Card, or its effect, gain 100 LP immediately after the card or effect resolves. You can only Special Summon "Sky Striker Ace - Kaina(s)" once per turn.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Doesn't matter what monster you waste to bring this card out because both effect do not reward you with anything meaningful and neither does its ATK.
SAST-EN054
Shiranui Skillsaga Supremacy
FIRE / Zombie-Type Link / ATK 2300 / Link-3
Active Link Arrow(s): Top, Left and Bottom
2+ Zombie monsters
Synchro Monsters you control cannot be destroyed by card effects. FIRE monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle. During your opponent's turn (Quick Effect): You can target 1 of your banished Zombie Synchro Monsters; Special Summon it to your zone this card points to. You can only use this effect of “Shiranui Skillsaga Supremacy” once per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Thank goodness it's not restrained to Shiranuis, sorry Shisanewbis because those monsters just don't have what it takes to succeed on their own.
SAST-EN053
Guardragon Agarpain
DARK / Dragon-Type Link / ATK 1500 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Top and Bottom
2 Dragon monsters
You cannot Special Summon monsters, except Dragon monsters. During your Main Phase: You can Special Summon 1 Dragon monster from your Extra Deck, to an Extra Monster Zone or Main Monster Zone you can Summon to, that 2 or more Link Monsters point to. You can only use this effect of “Guardragon Agarpain” once per turn. You can only Special Summon “Guardragon Agarpain(s)” once per turn.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: If a Link-1 monster that restricts my plays isn't good enough, then why would a Link-2 monster that equally restricts my plays and takes more effort be good enough? It's not.
SAST-EN052
Guardragon Pisty
DARK / Dragon-Type Link / ATK 1000 / Link-1
Active Link Arrow(s): Right
1 Level 4 or lower Dragon monster
You cannot Special Summon monsters, except Dragon monsters. You can only use this effect of “Guardragon Pisty” once per turn. You can only Special Summon “Guardragon Pisty(s)” once per turn.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Did they really just copy-paste the effect of Elpy onto this card and then change the mentioned card name in the effect? Welp I can just write it off as another Trash Rare then.
SAST-EN051
Guardragon Elpy
DARK / Dragon-Type Link / ATK 1000 / Link-1
Active Link Arrow(s): Left
1 Level 4 or lower Dragon monster
You cannot Special Summon monsters, except Dragon monsters. During your Main Phase: You can Special Summon 1 Dragon monster from your hand or Deck to your zone that 2 or more Link Monsters point to. You can only use this effect of “Guardragon Elpy” once per turn. You can only Special Summon “Guardragon Elpy(s)” once per turn.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Horrible ATK and restricts me heavily, even in a Dragon Deck.
SAST-EN050
T.G. Trident Launcher
EARTH / Machine-Type Link / ATK 2200 / Link-3
Active Link Arrow(s): Bottom, Bottom-Left and Bottom-Right
2+ Effect Monsters, including a “T.G.” Tuner
If this card is Link Summoned: You can Special Summon 3 “T.G.” monsters (1 from your hand, 1 from your Deck, and 1 from your GY) in Defense Position to your zones this card points to, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except “T.G.” monsters. You can only use this effect of "T.G. Trident Launcher" once per turn. Your opponent cannot target “T.G.” Synchro Monsters this card points to with card effects.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Not very strong for a Link-3 monster but it at least has uses with other T.G. monsters. Unfortunately, that's about all it has uses for.
SAST-EN049
Trickstar Divaridis
LIGHT / Fairy-Type Link / ATK 1800 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Bottom and Bottom-Left
2 Level 3 or lower “Trickstar” monsters
You can only control 1 "Trickstar Divaridis". If this card is Special Summoned: Inflict 200 damage to your opponent. If your opponent Normal or Special Summons a monster(s): Inflict 200 damage to your opponent.
ULTRA RARE
Rating:
Comments: Blue Angel may have made this work in the anime but that's only because the writers favor good Duels, thus making certain duelists get lucky hands. This proves nothing in the TCG as this card is weak and has pathetic effects.
SAST-EN048
Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf
FIRE / Cyberse-Type Link / ATK 1800 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Top and Bottom
2 FIRE Effect Monsters
If a monster(s) is Normal or Special Summoned to the zone(s) this card points to (except during the Damage Step): You can add 1 FIRE monster from your GY to your hand, but for the rest of this turn, you cannot Normal Summon/Set or Special Summon monsters with the added monster's name. During your Main Phase, if you control this card that was Link Summoned using “Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf” as material: You can add 1 “Salamangreat” Spell/Trap from your GY to your hand. You can only use each effect of “Salamangreat Sunlight Wolf” once per turn.
RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Not much of a point in adding a monster that I then can't bring out by the same effect that allowed me to get it, especially if that effect came from a monster that was this weak. Additionally, it has the same abysmal effect that other Salamangreat Sadlynotgreat Link Monsters have thus far.
SAST-EN047
Clock Lizard
DARK / Cyberse-Type Link / ATK 1200 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Bottom and Bottom-Left
2 Cyberse monsters
You can Tribute this card; return 1 Fusion Monster from your GY to the Extra Deck, then Fusion Summon that Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, by banishing Fusion Materials listed on it from your GY. If this card is banished from your GY: You can make Special Summoned monsters your opponent currently controls lose 400 ATK for each Cyberse monster currently in your GY, until the end of this turn.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: I'm only giving it 2/5 because of the last effect as the first effect and its ATK are pretty bad for its required Link Materials.
SAST-EN046
Detonate Deleter
DARK / Cyberse-Type Link / ATK 2100 / Link-3
Active Link Arrow(s): Left, Right and Bottom-Left
2+ Cyberse monsters
Once per turn, at the start of the Damage Step, when this card battles a face-up monster that is not a Link-3 or higher Link Monster: You can destroy that monster. Once per turn: You can Tribute 1 monster this card points to, then target 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy it.
RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: It's basically a weaker Catastor, especially since it can destroy less with its effect than Catastor can, not to mention needs more monsters in most cases than Catastor.
SAST-EN045
Update Jammer
WIND / Cyberse-Type Link / ATK 2000 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Top and Left
2 Level 2 or higher Cyberse monsters
Once per battle, during damage calculation, if your Cyberse monster battles (Quick Effect): You can activate this effect; negate all other card effects on the field until the end of the Damage Step, damage calculation for this battles uses each monster's original ATK/DEF, also if an opponent's monster is destroyed by this battle and sent to the GY, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. If this card is sent to the GY as Link Material: That Link Monster can make a second attack during each Battle Phase this turn.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: I can deal 1000 damage in far better ways and there are plenty of monsters that do better with the first and last effects.
SAST-EN044
Cyberse Wicckid
DARK / Cyberse-Type Link / ATK 800 / Link-2
Active Link Arrow(s): Bottom and Bottom-Right
2 Cyberse monsters
This Link Summoned card cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects. Cyberse monsters this card points to cannot be destroyed by card effects. If a monster(s) is Special Summoned to a zone(s) this card points to while you control this monster (except during the Damage Step): You can banish 1 Cyberse monster from your GY; add 1 Cyberse Tuner from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Cyberse Wicckid" once per turn.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: It becomes pretty much irrelevent if a monster can survive desruction from battle and effects when it takes more effort than other cards that have at least half this, more ATK and are easier to Summon. Plus, this guy is also restrained to Cyberse Decks.
SAST-EN043
Cyberse Integrator
LIGHT / Cyberse-Type Synchro / Level 3 / ATK 1000 / DEF 1000
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
If this card is Synchro Summoned, you can: Special Summon 1 Cyberse Tuner from your hand or GY in Defense Position, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except Cyberse monsters. If this Synchro Summoned card is sent to the GY: You can draw 1 card. You can only use each effect effect of "Cyberse Integrator" once per turn.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: It's restricted to Cyerse Decks but even they aren't worth having such a weakling in their arsenal because it's already been outclassed by even Formula Synchron.
SAST-EN042
Hyper Psychic Riser
EARTH / Psychic-Type Synchro / Level 6 / ATK 2000 / DEF 600
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
Monsters with less ATK than this card cannot attack, also neither player can activate the effects of face-up monsters on the field with more ATK than this card. If this card in your possession is destroyed by your opponent's card and sent to your GY: You can target 1 Tuner and 1 non-Tuner monster in your GY with the same Type and Attribute as each other; add them to your hand. You can only use this effect of "Hyper Psychic Riser" once per turn.
RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It's pretty weak but at least stops monster effects that have more ATK. However, that includes your own and if yours are weaker than this card, they can't attack so there's not much worthwhile with this guy at all.
SAST-EN041
Shiranui Squiresaga
FIRE / Zombie-Type Synchro / Level 7 / ATK 2100 / DEF 0
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
You can only Special Summon "Shiranui Squiresaga(s)" once per turn. Once per turn: You can banish 1 face-up monster you control or in your GY, then apply these effects, in sequence, depending on what the monster was before it was banished, if it was any of these.
● Zombie: You can have all monsters you control gain 300 ATK.
● FIRE: You can destroy 1 Spell/Trap on the field.
● Synchro: You can destroy 1 monster on the field.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Not much changed from Swordsaga as this one is only barely stronger and still doesn't have what it takes to be playable.
SAST-EN040
Shiranui Swordsaga
FIRE / Zombie-Type Synchro / Level 5 / ATK 1900 / DEF 0
1 Tuner + 1+ non-Tuner monsters
You can only Special Summon "Shiranui Swordsaga(s)" once per turn. If this card is Special Summoned: You can target 1 monster on the field; change its battle position. If this card is banished: You can Special Summon 1 "Shiranui Token" (Zombie/
FIRE/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0). You can only use this effect of "Shiranui Swordsaga" once per turn.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Why would I waste 2 or more monsters to bring out a monster with only 1900 ATK and 0 DEF that only brings out a Token when I can bring out 1 or more Tokens for free?
