GENF-EN079*
Raigeki Bottle
Continuous Trap
Each time a monster you control declares an attack, place 1 Thunder Counter on this card. You can send this card with 4 or more Thunder Counters to the Graveyard; destroy all monsters your opponent controls.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 3
Comments: Talk about a one-sided card! You clear your opponent's field of monsters just by sending it with at least 4 Thunder Counters on it!
GENF-EN078
Attention!
Normal Trap
Target 1 face-up Level 5 or lower monster your opponent controls; destroy all face-up monsters on the field with a different Level than it.
RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: The effect affects both sides of the field so you'll want to make sure you have no monsters with a different Level than the targeted monster.
GENF-EN077
Tyrant's Tummyache
Continuous Trap
Activate by Tributing 1 monster. Neither player can Special Summon a Level 6 or higher monster. If you have 3 or more cards in your hand, destroy this card.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: It doesn't stop Normal Summons of Level 6+ monsters, it affects both players and it self-destructs if its controller has at least 3 cards in their hand plus you have to Tribute a monster just to activate it!
GENF-EN076
Curse of the Circle
Normal Trap
Target 1 monster your opponent controls; your opponent cannot Tribute it, or use it as a Synchro Material Monster.
RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: At least the effect doesn't end during the End Phase and isn't restricted to any particular monster your opponent controls.
GENF-EN075
United Front
Counter Trap
When a Trap Card is activated while you control 2 or more face-up monsters with the same Level: Negate the activation and destroy it.
RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It has to be activated when a Trap Card is activated but its activation requirements aren't too steep.
GENF-EN074
Utopian Aura
Normal Trap
Detach 1 Xyz Material you control; the face-up Xyz Monsters you control cannot be destroyed by card effects until the End Phase.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Save Utopia or Gachi Gachi from being destroyed by your opponent's card effect threats but being a Trap Card and having to detach an Xyz Material hurts this card's playability and rating.
GENF-EN073
Treaty on Uniform Nomenclature
Normal Trap
If you control 2 or more face-up monsters with the same name, except Tokens: Apply this effect, depending on how many you control.
● Exactly 2: Destroy 1 Spell/Trap Card your opponent controls.
● Exactly 3: Destroy all Spell/Trap Cards your opponent controls.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It's not limited to any 2 copies of the Ojamas thankfully so I can use multiple Krebons or heck any 2 copies of a monster but in most cases, you'll only destroy 1 opponent's Spell or Trap Card.
GENF-EN072
Burgeoning Whirlflame
Counter Trap
When a Trap Card is activated: Send 1 "Laval" monster from your hand to the Graveyard; negate the activation and destroy it. If this card is in the Graveyard: You can banish 2 FIRE monsters from your Graveyard; add this card to your hand.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: There's no activation cost except to discard a Laval monster from your hand but I wouldn't have put an activation cost into a bad card like this one.
GENF-EN071
Past Image
Normal Trap
If you control a face-up Psychic-Type monster: Target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish it. During the next Standby Phase, it returns to the opponent's side of the field in the same Battle Position.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: You may not need to discard anything but you need to have a Psychic-Type monster out and being a Trap Card, it'll take longer to use. Worse yet, the monster comes back later. Stick to Dark Core over this.
GENF-EN070
Bright Future
Normal Trap
Target 2 of your banished Psychic-Type monsters; return both those targets to the Graveyard and draw 1 card.
RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Can come in handy if you just brought out Ultimate Axon Kicker or Chaos Sorcerer but Burial from a Different Dimension can return any 3 of your banished monsters back to your Grave and is Quick-Play.
GENF-EN069
Oh F!sh!
Counter Trap
When an Effect Monster's effect activates: Shuffle 1 of your banished Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua-Type monsters into the Main Deck; negate the activation and destroy it.
RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It only negates Effect Monster effects and you can't just shuffle the monster types from anywhere (Deck, Grave, Hand) so you won't always have banished monsters to return for its activation requirement.
GENF-EN068
Underworld Egg Clutch
Normal Trap
When a face-up Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua-Type monster you control is banished: Add 1 Level 4 or lower Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua-Type monster from your Deck to your hand.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It's easy to get one of your Fish, Sea Serpent or Aqua-Type monsters banished if destroyed by battle while Dimensional Fissure is active unless Jinzo or Royal Decree is also face up.
GENF-EN067
Overwind
Normal Trap
Target 1 face-up "Wind-Up" monster you control; its ATK and DEF are doubled, and it returns to the hand during the End Phase. You can only activate 1 "Overwind" per turn.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: If you've got game and your opponent can't stop you when you activate this, then the downside doesn't matter but if they can, you may be in trouble.
GENF-EN066
Damage Vaccine Ω MAX
Normal Trap
When you take damage by battle or by a card effect: Gain Life Points equal to the damage you took.
COMMON
Rating: 3
Comments: It applies to any kind of damage and you gain back all that you lost!
GENF-EN065
Explosive Urchin
Continuous Trap
Activate only when your opponent activates a Trap Card. During your Standby Phase: Inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. Your opponent must control a face-up Trap Card for you to activate and resolve this effect. During your 3rd End Phase after activation, send this card to the Graveyard.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: There's one obvious Trap Card that would meet this card's requirements but defeats the purpose of activating this yet this card's activation requirements aren't hard to achieve.
GENF-EN064
Poseidon Wave
Normal Trap
When an opponent's monster declares an attack: Target the attacking monster; negate that target's attack, and if you control any face-up Fish, Sea Serpent, or Aqua-Type monsters, inflict 800 damage to your opponent for each of those monsters.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: In most cases, you'd just be negating the attack but for that Negate Attack and Threatening Roar are better so you're better off keeping this in WATER decks.
GENF-EN063
Asleep at the Switch
Normal Trap
When your opponent gains Life Points: Target 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy that target.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It's anti-LP Gain Decks but if Prime Material Dragon is out, this card is useless unless its controller has no cards to discard for PMD.
GENF-EN062
Peeking Goblin
Normal Spell
Your opponent reveals the top 3 cards of their Deck. Choose one to place on the bottom of the Deck and place the other two on top of the Deck in any order.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Know what's coming next and mess with your opponent's strategy but it's a bit of a gamble since you have no idea what cards are next in your opponent's Deck.
GENF-EN061
Resonance Device
Normal Spell
Target 2 face-up monsters you control with the same Type and Attribute; change one of their Levels to the current Level of the other, until the End Phase.
RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: Use only for themed decks because of this card's somewhat steep activation requirements.
GENF-EN060
Oni-Gami Combo
Normal Spell
Target 1 face-up Xyz Monster you control and detach all of its Xyz Material; this turn, that target can attack twice during the same Battle Phase.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: I suppose you could steal your opponent's Xyz Monster then use this to remove it's Xyz Materials to make it less of a threat to you when you give the monster back but overall pretty poor.
