Judgment of the Light (Page 4)

*Also available as an Ultimate Rare card
JOTL-EN079*
Shapesister
Continuous Trap
Special Summon this card in Defense Position as a Normal Monster (Fiend-Type/
Tuner/EARTH/Level 2/ATK 0/DEF 0). (This card is also still a Trap Card.) You can only activate 1 "Shapesister" per turn.
ULTRA RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: All it becomes is a worthless Tuner monster and that's sad since you can only use once copy per turn and this card is Ultra Rare.
JOTL-EN078
Xyz Reversal
Normal Trap
Target 1 face-up Xyz Monster your opponent controls and 1 face-up Xyz Monster you control; switch control of both monsters.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: You get to keep the monster you take from your opponent but so does your opponent with yours and that may not be all that bad if your old one has no materials and your new one does but it's pretty situational.
JOTL-EN077
Traptrix Trap Hole Nightmare
Normal Trap
When a monster your opponent controls that was Special Summoned this turn activates its effect: Negate that effect, and if you do, destroy that card.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: It'll work against any of your opponent's Special Summoned monsters that can be stopped by this but it won't help you against other Summons.
JOTL-EN076
Sonic Boom
Normal Trap
During your turn: Target 1 "Mecha Phantom Beast" monster on the field; this turn, its ATK becomes double its original ATK, it is unaffected by other Spell/Trap effects, also if it attacks a Defense Position monster, inflict piercing battle damage to your opponent. If this effect is applied to that monster, destroy all Machine-Type monsters you control during the End Phase of this turn. Other monsters cannot attack during the turn you activate this card.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Why bother doubling the ATK of 1 monster for extra damage when you lose all your Machine-Type monsters, which most can't even attack, during the End Phase? Use Limiter Removal instead.
JOTL-EN075
Bujinfidel
Normal Trap
Tribute 1 Beast-Warrior-Type "Bujin" monster, then target 1 "Bujin" monster with a different name in your Graveyard; Special Summon that target.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Trade in your weaker Bujin for a stronger one but there aren't many that fit this card's requirements.
JOTL-EN074
Bujin Regalia - The Sword
Normal Trap
Activate 1 of these effects.
● Target 1 "Bujin" monster in your Graveyard; add that target to your hand.
● Target 1 of your banished "Bujin" monsters; send that target to the Graveyard.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Retrieve your Bujin monster from wherever it went or put it back to where it was lost for retrieval but that's about it.
JOTL-EN073
Vain Betrayer
Continuous Trap
When an opponent's Xyz Monster declares an attack: Activate this card by targeting the attacking monster. It cannot attack, also its effects are negated. While that monster is on the field, during each of your opponent's End Phases: Send the top 3 cards of the opponent's Deck to the Graveyard. When that monster leaves the field, destroy this card.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: There are better ways to deal with monsters than this.
JOTL-EN072
Corrupted Keys
Normal Trap
Target 1 face-up Xyz Monster you control; Special Summon 3 "Umbral Horror Mirage Tokens" (Fiend-Type/DARK/Level 1/ATK ?/DEF 0). (When Summoned, each Token's ATK becomes equal to that Xyz Monster's current ATK. They cannot attack your opponent directly or be Tributed, except for a Tribute Summon.) When that face-up Xyz Monster leaves the field, destroy these Tokens.
RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: You get 3 tokens that are as strong as the selected Xyz Monster but they're tied to that Xyz Monster, limited on their attacking and you have to use them for a Summon or destroy them to get rid of them.
JOTL-EN071
Xyz Revenge Shuffle
Normal Trap
When a face-up Xyz Monster you control is targeted for an attack: Target 1 Xyz Monster in your Graveyard; return that face-up attack target to the Extra Deck, then Special Summon this card's target from the Graveyard, and if you do, attach this card to it, as an Xyz Material.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: You can save your Xyz Monster that has no materials left and replace it with one that will but that'll likely allow your opponent to get rid of your new monster.
JOTL-EN070
Reverse Glasses
Normal Trap
Halve the ATK of all face-up monsters currently on the field, until the End Phase.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It goes further than Shrink but if you're not careful, your monsters will be affected too and this is a Trap Card.
JOTL-EN069
Single Purchase
Normal Spell
If you have 3 or more cards in your hand (other than this card), and none of them are monsters: Banish your entire hand face-up; add 1 monster from your Deck to your hand. If you do, you cannot Normal or Special Summon any monsters for the rest of this turn, except monsters with that name.
SHORT PRINT COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: You get whatever monster you want out of your deck but you have to have a pretty specific bad hand to start and can only play that monster, which can easily get destroyed, literally leaving you with nothing.
JOTL-EN068
Black and White Wave
Quick-Play Spell
If there is a face-up Xyz Monster on the field with a Synchro Monster as Xyz Material: Target 1 card on the field; banish that target, and if you do, draw 1 card.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: Odds aren't in your favor that you'll see an Xyz Monster with Synchro Monster Xyz Materials but if you do, you'll get to draw 1 card  and get rid of a threat and this is a Quick-Play.
JOTL-EN067
Transmodify
Normal Spell
Send 1 face-up monster you control to the Graveyard; Special Summon from your Deck, 1 monster with the same Type and Attribute as that monster in the Graveyard, but 1 Level higher. You can only activate 1 "Transmodify" per turn.
SECRET RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: In themed decks like Fire Fists, this'll probably get some use but not so much elsewhere.
JOTL-EN066
Archfiend Palabyrinth
Field Spell
All Fiend-Type monsters you control gain 500 ATK. You can target 1 "Archfiend" monster you control; banish 1 other Fiend-Type monster you control, and if you do, Special Summon from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard, 1 "Archfiend" monster with same Level as the targeted monster. You can only use this effect of "Archfiend Palabyrinth" once per turn.
RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: Archfiends still aren't playable and even with them, the effect is pretty poor.
JOTL-EN065
Fire Formation - Yoko
Continuous Spell
When you activate this card, you can target 1 face-up card your opponent controls; discard 1 Beast-Warrior-Type monster, and if you do, destroy that card. All Beast-Warrior-Type monsters you control gain 100 ATK.
SUPER RARE
Rating: 1
Comments: It's not restricted to Fire Fists but it might as well be as they have the most monsters that meet this card's requirements but even then, it has the stupid weak ATK boost and you'll only destroy 1 card.
JOTL-EN064
Vertical Landing
Quick-Play Spell
Tribute any number of WIND monsters, except Tokens; Special Summon an equal number of "Mecha Phantom Beast Tokens" (Machine-Type/WIND/Level 3/ATK 0/
DEF 0). You can only activate 1 "Vertical Landing" per turn.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: You trade in your WIND monsters for Mecha Phantom Beast protection and it's a Quick-Play Spell so it has a few options but is pretty well limited to Mecha Phantom Beast decks
JOTL-EN063
Bujincarnation
Normal Spell
If your opponent controls a monster and you control no monsters: Target 1 "Bujin" monster in your Graveyard and 1 of your banished "Bujin" monsters; Special Summon both targets. They cannot be used as Xyz Material for an Xyz Summon, except for the Xyz Summon of a Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast-Type monster.
RARE
Rating: 2
Comments: A risky card with Heavy Storm going forbidden in a few days time and you needing no monsters on the field but you get two monsters for Xyz Summoning out of the deal if successful.
JOTL-EN062
Sargasso Lighthouse
Quick-Play Spell
When a Spell effect that would inflict damage to you is activated: You take no damage from that effect. While this card is in your Graveyard, you take no damage from the effect of "Sargasso the D.D. Battlefield". When this Set card is sent to the Graveyard: You can add 1 "Sargasso the D.D. Battlefield" from your Deck to your hand.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: Use Spell of Pain, which not only works on any Effect Damage you would've taken but deals it to your opponent instead and doesn't search out a lousy Field Spell.
JOTL-EN061
Sargasso the D.D. Battlefield
Field Spell
Each time a monster is Xyz Summoned: The Summoning player takes 500 damage. During each player's End Phase, the turn player takes 500 damage if they control a face-up Xyz Monster.
COMMON
Rating: 1
Comments: The damage is not only poor, it applies to both players so don't waste your deck space.
JOTL-EN060
Xyz Reception
Normal Spell
Target 1 face-up monster you control that has a Level; Special Summon 1 monster with the same Level as that monster from your hand. Its effects are negated, also its ATK and DEF become 0.
COMMON
Rating: 2
Comments: It helps for an easy Rank 4+ Xyz Summon but your new monster loses all its ATK, DEF and effects and the Level of the new monster must be the same, making Double Summon still the better choice.
