Article #118 Is Cheerilee Rarity's Mom?
In spite of neither pony resembling one another, it has been perceived that Cheerilee is Rarity's mom based on looking after her the most. "Well I don't really have a mom, I don't think anyway. Unicorns just look after one another just as the other ponies do. Cheerilee just worries about me the most since she taught me so much over the years. More likely we're just family with no direct ties," explained Rarity. Cheerilee said they could be perhaps sisters, but even that is a stretch.
Article #117 Spike Struggling to Solve the Mystery Map
Having found the map earlier in the year, Spike is having little success figuring out what, if anything is of value. "It's a tricky map to understand for anyone and I've tried rotating the map different ways without much luck. It may just come down to trying it out in different directions. If there are any labels, they're probably faded," explained Spike. Kimono said she'll try to decipher the map herself, but doesn't think she'll have much better luck.
Article #116 Candy Cane Prototypes Discussed
With Christmas nearly a week away, the discussion regarding final designs of the Here Comes Christmas Candy Cane are underway. "We've got 3 possibilities on the counter to look at and figure out which of them will be in the final design. Realistically, it's almost down to two as one of them isn't quite getting the positive reaction the other two are. We're looking to have it finallized and scalled up at the end of the week," commented Triple Treat. Cotton Candy said they'll also scale up a mock-up of the final design using paints and cardboard before actually setting to work on the tree topper.
Article #115 Pony Band Needs More Practice?
Having just performed perfectly earlier in the year, the group finds it harder to meet that performance this time around. "I guess with the holidays now underway it's harder to get the ball rolling again, or keep it going I guess too. We'll try and get something out for Christmas," stated Skywishes. Twinkle Twirl said they'll be practicing during the day, then focusing on the holidays a bit before bed each night.
Article #114 Razzaroo Close to Completing Events Book
With Chrismtmas about two weeks away, Razzaroo is waiting for 1 final event before closing the book. "I'm not sure whether to remember Christmas or some event before it that we're unaware of. I guess I'll be recording Christmas if nothing happens before then," shrugged Razzaroo. Sunny Daze added they were given a small peek at the inside of the book and was thrilled at even that.
Article #113 Mystery Pony Sends Party Invitations
One might call them the "Secret Santa", only they're not sending gifts. "We don't know who sent them since there's no name on them, but we can say there will be Christmas party at Celebration Castle. We don't know exactly what the party will be like, rest assured it'll be a lot of fun," commented Pinkie Pie. Rainbow Dash said she has an idea whom it might be, but isn't willing to share without more evidence.
Article #112 Cotton Candy Cafe Becoming Secret Design Lab?
With Christmas approaching, several ponies have gotten together to use the cafe as a temporary design station for the Here Comes Christmas Candy Cane. "Why wait until the week of Christmas to start designing it? Cotton Candy added they're also designing replicas using leftovers to get an idea of what the final product will look like.

Kimono said she's working with Sunny Daze to try and get a better understanding of when it might snow.
Article #110 Holiday Cocoa a Hot Seller
The first week of Holiday Cocoa has come in with surprising results. "We weren't really expecting it to do well at all considering it was different than the original hot cocoa we typically have. Seemed like everyone needed that extra bit of holiday cheer with more than just the holidays themselves. We're looking to do it again next year if things keep up the way they aare now," stated Triple Treat. Cotton Candy said they're thinking of two different choices for next year.
Article #109 Lost Treasure Map Found in Ponyville
While gardening, Wysteria stumbled upon an old treasure map, seemingly buried for many years. "Zipzee was actually the one that found it as I was too busy planting flowers. Spike said it looked to be several thousand years old and is working to decipher how to find the treasure, if there is any.
Article #108 Lily Lightly Remembers Glowing Fear
With the holidays in full swing, Lily is recalling the day she was fearful of glowing when she laughed. The firefly she was with said it's there to help remind her that the lights are for everyone and that she shouldn't worry about her past by seeing them.
Article #107 Rarity Makes Last Rainbow of the Year
With the weather getting colder, it's proving to get harder for Rarity to make the colorful arcs in the sky. "I can still make them of course, but the magic wand gets cold this time of year even though winter is still a few months away and a cold wand doesn't do as well getting the magic going," figured Rarity. Cheerilee said it's more to do with hooves being cold than the wand itself so we try to dress her in layers, but of course the holidays are upon us so less are going to be focused on rainbow making.
Article #106 Forsythia's Sparkle Returning
After a bizarre event that seemd like an issue, Forsythia is getting her sparkle back. "I guess it just took longer for me to get them back than for others. Starbeam did say she got her's back, but I never saw a difference at all so I only assumed she was saying so to make me feel better. Now I know she was right all along," commented Forsythia. Starbeam said she thinks impacts to the sparkles could make them fall off earlier than expected.

In addition to the standard hot cocoa they offer, there's now a bonus flavor to try out. "It uses bits of candy cane and mint, somewhat like a callback to our Pinkie Mint candy cane. This week saw Skywishes making one of her usual wishes, but getting a different result than expected. "I actually felt dizzy. I'm not sure why, but maybe the wish was too big? I never even got to finish the wish I intended in the first place. It was for a great holiday season with lots of fun and gifts for everyone, and of course snow. Maybe it's just easier to make the wish when the conditions are nearly or already there?" stated Skywishes. As the days get shorter, the ponies of G3 Ponyville need to think of ways to have fun, even at night when they're not ready for bed yet. "We came up with a variation of the rollercoaster from the Friendship Ball. I mixed fireflies and butterflies together so that everyone could still be seen and we did it outside so there's no end to how big the rollercoaster could be. Of course, there were no loops given the nighttime environment, but we had a blast doing it," stated Star Catcher. Skywishes said she was too in awe to ride the rollercoaster the first time, but said the overall event was even better than inside at the Friendship Ball.
Article #102 Residents Dive into Mystery CDs
The CDs found earlier were listened to and met with more confusion than before. "We found something that can play them, but heard none of our voices, only more general songs. I can't figure out why we're on here if none of the songs are either sung by us or about us," commented Cotton Candy. Minty added that they're probably not going to use them anymore and instead are going to make their own CDs to use with the CD player.

As the days grow cooler, the annual switch to hot drinks and food begins. "Of course, we're knon for our frozen treats in the summer, but no one will come for that late in the year so we switch to hot food and hot chocolate during that time. Plus that's our time to begin strategizing for topping our giant tree too, though without any real urgency," explained Cotton Candy. Article #98 Kimono Tackles 5-Legged Ponies
Kimono used her understanding to find out how such a mistake could be made in artwork they've found. "Seems the way the tail ends up just behind the last leg is where the confusion started. They colored in part of the tail as if it were a leg. Of course, it may not even be the fault of the one that colored it and maybe how it was drawn entirely," commented Kimono. Starbeam said she's not fond of how she looks in the art and wonders if it can be fixed.
Article #97 Fall Brings Ponyville's Biggest Leaf Piles

Article #96 Sweet Sundae a Success in Ponyville
G3 Ponyville's giant End-of-Summer Sundae was a great success. "Ponies came in from all over town to have a taste. Sweetberry said it was a mx of all ice cream flavors and toppings and was made the night before and kept in the freezer so that it was still cold when customers came in.

It's not a mystery to solve, but more of a game. "Just for fun, we thought we'd make a really large puzzle to solve, one that takes multiple ponies to figure out. The tricky part was to figure out what the puzzle should do when it's finished so that we have something to look forward to," stated Pinkie Pie. Minty said they asked the Pegasus ponies to pay a visit to keep an eye on their progress so they could finish it.

With the ice cream getting down to the final tubs' worth, two have teamed up to help finish it off. "It's the sundae of all sundaes. We freeze it of course when it's not requested, but once a customer wants some, we get it out and they can dig right in, then pay what they ate. We do limit customers to around 3-4 scoops at a time and we have to use the larger freezer out back to keep it in," stated Sweetberry. Triple Treat said it took just about everything they had to complete it and will mark the end of the year's ice cream season.
