Sunny Daze Practices Weather Forecasting Having attempted it last year without much success, Sunny Daze is using the sky to understand what's next. "From what I've seen the clouds do, it's not much to go on since we don't generally have much bad weather here, but we've had snow recently and that's a start," admitted Sunny Daze. Minty said she doesn't understand anything of what Sunny Daze has been talking about, but feels it might help over time as Sunny Daze gets better at it. |

Razzaroo Displays Events Book With her first book completed, Razzaroo agreed to showcase it for others to see. "It's outside in the center of town in a protective case and I'll try to have a different page on display each day so eventually you should be able to see the whole thing," commented Razzaroo. Minty said she'd rather see it page-by-page in her hooves, but respects Razzaroo's decision to protect it from damage. |

Spike Solves Map Mystery Having looked over the map more than several dozen times, he finally has the riddle solved. "With Kimono's help, and cups of hot coca, we were able to unlock the issues I was having before. It turns out this map predates my castle map by about 1000 years and indeed the names are faded, but we had to look at it logically, and that was Kimono's expertise. Obviously the locations it tells of are no longer there, at least not in the form they are on the map, but it turns out this is a map of ancient Ponyville," explained Spike. Kimono said she had a look around town to see if there was any resemblence to the locations on the map and found only slight resemblences. |

Heart-Eyed Ponies Starting New Jobs Two of the three heart-eyed ponies are already underway with their new jobs. "It's dirty work, but I love it. Can't even see the dust on me, unless it gets in my mane or tail. I was given a special tool to make it easier as it's a pretty narrow space down there. I take all the precautions before getting in there, but it's worth it," commented Chimney Sweet. Valentine Sweet said she started delivering the invitations for last year's Christmas party as a dry run to get to know the places and now knows she's ready for February's goods. |

Hide-and-Seek Proves Problematic in Snow Having had their first snowfall of the year, residents were met with unique challenges playing a game in it. "Turns out-hide-and-seek doesn't work very well in the snow as there aren't many places to hide without anyone finding you, especially if you just jump in to hide under the snow itself. We'd probably have to add in something else like a blanket, but even that will make them somewhat visible," stated Kimono. Star Catcher said she and her pegasus friends paid a visit to play and had to learn of new places to hide. |

Ponies Have Festive New Years Residents of G3 Ponyville kicked off the new year with much to talk about. "That was some party last night. Even after Christmas came to an end, we were hard at work about a day later planning for New Year's Day. We'd never done it before, but we knew what we wanted and Rarity suggested the New Year's Rainbow Party to celebrate. We were up until midnight playing games and having a sleepover. Rarity then waved her magic wand at midnight and made a special rainbow appear. Of course, we went right to bed afterwards and were still tired the following morning," yawned Pinkie Pie. Rarity said her special rainbow took extra practice to get the colors to be different than a typical rainbow and she made it larger than normal to boot. |
