Ponyville Presents Pony Fool's Day April 1st is going to be lighthearted in Ponyville than most would remember it elsewhere. "We know others may play tricks that can end up being more trouble than they're worth so we're just going to be silly. Sort-of like being ourselves, but goofier. We can do all kinds of stuff to entertain each other. This way, everyone has a good time and no one gets hurt. We're setting up to be quite the fun afternoon," explained Pinkie Pie. Sunny Daze said just about anything is open for play, but is up for approval beforehand if deemed potentially unsafe or mean. |

Heart-Eyed Ponies Working Through Problems With no one else available, the duo have opted to look at their situations and try to solve them on their own. "It's going to take a while I feel, but it's the best we can do for now. Luckily, we aren't needed anywhere just yet. I'm currently having a closer look at chimneys in Ponyville for an idea on how to make it through them or at least figure out why I'm struggling so much," commented Chimney Sweet. Valentine Sweet said she's got ample time to practice until the next time she's needed for real. |

Pies Prove Perfect for Ponies Pi Day was a success at the cafe last week. "Our creativity and teamwork did well for customers coming in for a bite to eat. Really made them want to come in and try what we were cooking up. We were quite busy making special pies and restocking others. We're thinking of doing it again for next year," stated Triple Treat. Cotton Candy said it did cost them quite a few ingredients despite the pies being smaller, but says it was a lot of fun too. |

Second School Year Has Successful Start Now a few months in to her weekly school schedule, Kimono is seeing improvement. "I did make things a bit easier for them to help them be more confident as it's not easy going into school for the first time. I should've done it this way out of the gates, though I did think it was easy back then," shared Kimono. Wysteria said she picked some flowers to help everyone feel better after a rough first year. |

Green is Good in Ponyville Minty would agree, but this time it's more literal as residents got to taste it as a treat. "We made special cookies and drinks in honor of St. Patrick's Day. Both have green sprinkles on top to give them a more festive look without sacrificing taste. It's a pretty simple addition too. We also have a recipe to make the food and drinks actually green too, but that's for another time," explained Sweetberry. Triple Treat said they did make 1 batch of each as green and didn't like the results. |

Minty Making Plans for Ponyville With an upcoming holiday that practically has her name on it, Minty opted to share small details of something special. "I can't reveal everything just yet, but you can bet it'll be a good one. Much like the Santa thing, I want it to be a secret for now. I've entrusted someone to keep the secret and help with the idea itself," shared Minty. Puzzlemint said she's been asked to help given her success with Pinkie Pie's part years ago. |

Cotton Candy Cafe Selling Pies? In light of Pie Day, March 14th, there's a special treat at the town's cafe. "Yes, we are selling pies, but only on Pie Day. Otherwise it just doesn't make sense. You'll be able to choose from our selection available or we can make something special. They'll be small pies though as this is a new idea for us considering we generally make other sweets like cakes and hot cocoa. |

Gorgeous Garden Blooming Beautifully In light of warmer temperatures, the Ponyville Garden is doing quite well. "Just goes to show that a little patience and proper care go a long way, and it doesn't hurt to have extra help as gardens are a lot of work to maintain," commented Wysteria. Desert Rose said the garden has doubled in size from when it was first planted years ago. |

Heart-Eyed Ponies Seeking Help After the Valentine's Day mishap, the duo is asking for more help with their jobs going forward. "Mostly Chimney Sweet needs the help, but I have no expertise to help her and vice-versa. We need someone capable of helping either of us if we need it, but so far, there's just Love Wishes for Valentine's Day," shared Valentine Sweet. Chimney Sweet says she's constantly getting stuck in chimneys just trying to get inside to clean them. |

Ponyville Castles Painted Again With the temperatures warming up, ponies set to to work giving their castles a fresh coat of paint. "We tend to do this once a year where each weekend we spend some time painting 1 castle in Ponyville and the ponies on Butterfly Island help out too with the top half. It's messy, but a lot of fun," explained Minty. Star Catcher said others moved to the next castle that was pre-discussed so the others knew where to go next. |

Sunny Daze Gets Weather Forecast Right? Having practiced for weeks, Sunny Daze has gotten one forecast right. "It really didn't seem like it was going to rain so that was basically my prediction, and it proved correct. Might seem rather easy compared to other weather conditions though," commented Sunny Daze. Pinkie Pie said she's still not sure Sunny Daze can actually do it for the harder weather conditions, but supports her either way. |

Kimono's School Switching Schedules? Ponyville's very own school taught by Kimono is trying out a new schedule. "Seems students are having trouble attending on time with all the holiday activities. Figured maybe I'd make it for after lunch instead of after breakfast. Gives them some time to do what they like for a while to start the day, and yes they can eat their lunch for the frst few minutes of my class," explained Kimono. Rainbow Dash said she was managing to get there on time, but feels this new schedule is even better. |

Valentine's Day Met with Mishaps Despite their training, Love Wishes and Valentine Sweet had trouble with deliveries. "We ended up literally running into each other and had letters meant for the other carrier. Unfortunately, it didn't dawn on either of us until ponies came out and said it wasn't their mail. Of course, that meant backtracking to where it all started and we did get it fixed eventually," commented Love Wishes. Valentine Sweet said they both used the same color envelopes, adding to the confusion. |

Minty Admits to Secret Santa The mystery letters were revealed to be Minty herself, with partial help from Love Wishes. "What better Santa than me, especially when my sock idea was approved by the real Santa? Of course, the real tricky part was making sure it wasn't obvious it was me all long. Rather than be in a costume, I took inspiration from my paint accident to completely change how I looked, even my eyes. Love Wishes guided me to each pony's house too and surprisingly no one found out," commented Minty. Love Wishes said it was great practice for her own duties on Valentine's Day. |

Amusement Park Gets Major Revamp Ponyville's Rainbow Wishes Amusement Park got quite the overhaul earlier this week. "It was starting to fall apart and needed new paint, but we opted to make the coaster larger and bigger so more ponies could ride it at once. It also really did look like a rainbow when we were done, making the name more fitting," explained Skywishes. Sunny Daze said a lot of paint was needed and they started with the most urgent needs of repair first and worked their way up. |

Heart-Eyed Ponies Working Through Struggles Having been at their jobs for about a week, there's been some setbacks along the way. "Even though I love this sort of thing, I've had trouble getting in and out of chimneys and have had to refine how I get in and out of them, but it's still slow going," commented Chimney Sweet. Valentine Sweet says her problem was getting the addresses right. |
Article #129 |
Minty Tickled Pink Again With preparations for Valentine's Day underway, Minty found herself with a blast from her past. "It wasn't as adventerous as the first time around, but I was back to being pink, though everyone knew it was me this time so I guess I'll leave it for a while. Maybe it'll be there until Valentine's Day?" explained Minty. Pinkie Pie said it was much easier to tell it was Minty than before given her teal coat was less pink, especially around her eyes. |
Article #128 |
Love Wishes Gearing Up for Valentine's Day Ponyville's Valentine's Day pony is setting up for the upcoming "Delivery Spree" as she calls it. "It's going to be a long day of making deliveries of residents' Valentine's Day cards. Obviously the residents could do it themselves, but having me do it instead ensures they have no idea who sent what. Candy Heart said she's helping out as well and has her own stash to deliver. |
Article #127 |
Kimono Starts Second School Year With a mostly successful first year completed, Kimono opted to open up her school for a second year. "Things can only go up from here as my students are learing as they go and doing quite well overall. I do intend on having different students each week, just to keep things fresh, but I track all their progress," explained Kimono. Rainbow Dash said she's certainly feeling more confident than the first time around. |

Sunny Daze Practices Weather Forecasting Having attempted it last year without much success, Sunny Daze is using the sky to understand what's next. "From what I've seen the clouds do, it's not much to go on since we don't generally have much bad weather here, but we've had snow recently and that's a start," admitted Sunny Daze. Minty said she doesn't understand anything of what Sunny Daze has been talking about, but feels it might help over time as Sunny Daze gets better at it. |
Article #125 |
Razzaroo Displays Events Book With her first book completed, Razzaroo agreed to showcase it for others to see. "It's outside in the center of town in a protective case and I'll try to have a different page on display each day so eventually you should be able to see the whole thing," commented Razzaroo. Minty said she'd rather see it page-by-page in her hooves, but respects Razzaroo's decision to protect it from damage. |

Spike Solves Map Mystery Having looked over the map more than several dozen times, he finally has the riddle solved. "With Kimono's help, and cups of hot coca, we were able to unlock the issues I was having before. It turns out this map predates my castle map by about 1000 years and indeed the names are faded, but we had to look at it logically, and that was Kimono's expertise. Obviously the locations it tells of are no longer there, at least not in the form they are on the map, but it turns out this is a map of ancient Ponyville," explained Spike. Kimono said she had a look around town to see if there was any resemblence to the locations on the map and found only slight resemblences. |

Heart-Eyed Ponies Starting New Jobs Two of the three heart-eyed ponies are already underway with their new jobs. "It's dirty work, but I love it. Can't even see the dust on me, unless it gets in my mane or tail. I was given a special tool to make it easier as it's a pretty narrow space down there. I take all the precautions before getting in there, but it's worth it," commented Chimney Sweet. Valentine Sweet said she started delivering the invitations for last year's Christmas party as a dry run to get to know the places and now knows she's ready for February's goods. |
Article #122 |
Hide-and-Seek Proves Problematic in Snow Having had their first snowfall of the year, residents were met with unique challenges playing a game in it. "Turns out-hide-and-seek doesn't work very well in the snow as there aren't many places to hide without anyone finding you, especially if you just jump in to hide under the snow itself. We'd probably have to add in something else like a blanket, but even that will make them somewhat visible," stated Kimono. Star Catcher said she and her pegasus friends paid a visit to play and had to learn of new places to hide. |

Ponies Have Festive New Years Residents of G3 Ponyville kicked off the new year with much to talk about. "That was some party last night. Even after Christmas came to an end, we were hard at work about a day later planning for New Year's Day. We'd never done it before, but we knew what we wanted and Rarity suggested the New Year's Rainbow Party to celebrate. We were up until midnight playing games and having a sleepover. Rarity then waved her magic wand at midnight and made a special rainbow appear. Of course, we went right to bed afterwards and were still tired the following morning," yawned Pinkie Pie. Rarity said her special rainbow took extra practice to get the colors to be different than a typical rainbow and she made it larger than normal to boot. |
