--------------------------------------------------------------
Episode 14:
SF: This is it, we're down to 3 robots and one of them will be our new champion. So here's how they match up with Chaos 2 up against Spin2Win and the winner facing Punjar for the Grand Final.

SM: From the United States, Spin2Win
SF: With 2 wheels, spinnin' is the easy part for this bot but they're up against the reigning champion so we'll see if they can get the other half of their name.

SM: From Ipswich, Chaos 2
SF: The 175 pounds of pure flippin' power and the awesome driving ability of George Francis.

SM: Roboteers.........standby.......
SF: George Francis up in the box there for Chaos 2. Dave Rose is in the other box there for Spin2Win. Down in our box of death we have Sgt Bash with his pincers and flamethrower and the other House Robot with pincers Dead Metal.

SM: 3........2.........1.........ACTIVATE!
SF: Spin2Win under Chaos 2 and is bringing him to the arena side wall and this could be a quick end for our champion here but it looks like the front edge of Spin2Win's wedge is preventing Chaos 2 from going out of the arena but look at Chaos 2, heading right to the back end of Spin2Win and gets off like it's a scale! Superb driving there by George Francis and that so far has saved Chaos 2 from certain defeat. Now things seem to be more even as neither one able to get underneath but a brief flip over and self-right from Chaos 2 there and uh-oh, there's a front wedge plate on the arena floor! That can only mean that Spin2Win has lost his front wedge! Good thing he has those spikes but I don't think they're going to be too effective. Chaos 2 on his back again but able to use that self-righting mechanism to get back over. Spin2Win on his back again as well but his low ground clearance isn't quite low enough for Chaos 2 as he flips him again. Chaos 2 going for the Pit trigger and down goes the Pit but Spin2Win now on one wheel! Talk about an unlucky break for Spin2Win there but time is ticking down to what was an awesome end to the semi finals.

SM: CEASE!
SF: Well, Chaos 2 in the finals against Punjar! Boy will this be a final to remember.

SM: Chaos 2.............Punjar........Roboteers..........standby...........
SF: There are our two finalists but only one can be the champion. The House 'bots in this round will be Sir Killalot and the matriarch of mayhem, Matilda.
SM: 3..........2..........1..........ACTIVATE!
SF: So here's the final battle of the tournament and Chaos 2 is on top of Punjar and near the arena side wall but Punjar is a little short to get him out of the arena, literally! Another pretty even battle here right now as neither one getting underneath but flipping each other over and using those self-righting mechanisms. Chaos 2 on his back again but uses that CO2 to get him back onto his wheels. Both robots now with Matilda in her CPZ and makes Chaos 2 end up on his back end and Punjar within inches of sliding out of the arena! Chaos 2 is tryin' to get back over and it's a wonder how long they can keep going here but both robots able to get away as Punjar delivers another flip but ends up on top of Chaos 2! Chaos 2 back over but Punjar is on his side! We haven't seen him there all tournament and it's a shame that he is now because now he's being counted out after being what I thought was the more aggressive and soon-to-be champion but not so here as Killalot opens up the Pit while Matilda puts Punjar on the Flipper and almost gets a little air herself!

SM: CEASE!
MF: Well, that was certainly a final battle there but Chaos 2 stays our champion of Robot Wars! That's all for this edition. Please tune in next time as another conquest of robot domination begins. Until then, I'm Mick Foley saying 'Fight on!'
Episode 13:
SF: Only 6 robots remain to fight out for being our Robot Wars champion and it's time to see who else gets eliminated.

SM: From the United States, Lifter
SF: Lifter in at 210 pounds has an actuated lifting arm and sloped sides to make him hard to get underneath.

SM: From the United States, Punjar
SF: Another 210 pound robot and pretty powerful with that front end.
SM: Roboteers...........standby.........
SF: There's Punjar with Ramiro Mallari up in the booth. Lifter with his builder Carlo Bertoccini at the controls. In the arena's corners will be Dead Metal with his pincers and saw, alongside Matilda with her tusks and chainsaw.

SM: 3........2.........1...........ACTIVATE!
SF: As this battle gets underway, Punjar gets right underneath and makes Lifter feel the breeze beneath his wheels before Lifter can get out of there but is on top of Punjar again and this time Lifter is up against the rails and all of his wheels are completely off the ground! If he doesn't get down from there soon, Punjar will move on but Lifter is back on the arena floor again! Looks like right now both robots are pretty evenly matched as they keep flippin' each other over but are able to get back onto their wheels but now Punjar is underneath again and brings him to the arena side wall and uh-oh, I think he's stuck there as Refbot has a look. It could be all over for Punjar, who has done so well in this tournament but wait a minute, Punjar is free with a second left! Wow, talk about having an opening for freedom there and Punjar is back to pushing Lifter to the arena side wall! He really wants him out of the arena but it looks like he won't get there as the 10 second clock ticks down.

SM: CEASE!
MF: I've just received word that Punjar will move on.
SF: With Punjar going through, let's see who's up next and it's Chaos 2 up against Mauler.

SM: From the United States of America, Mauler
SF: The spinbot Mauler in at 210 pounds has those side flails that's sure to do some damage in this one.

SM: From Ipswich, the reigning champion Chaos 2
SF: Chaos 2 with that awesome flipper in at 175 pounds is the one to watch in this one.

SM: Roboteers.........standby.........
SF: Chaos 2 with driver George Francis at the controls. There's Mauler with Morgan Tilford up in his team's box. Guarding the CPZs will be the flame throwin' Sgt Bash and the big daddy Sir Killalot.

SM: 3........2.........1...........ACTIVATE!
SF: Chaos 2 bringin' that powerful flipper to work by putting Mauler on his head but Mauler has that self-righting mechanism to get back into the battle. Mauler has that spin action going and is flipped but self-rights, then Chaos 2 is flipped but they too have a self-righter and they'll need it to stay alive here. Uh-oh, Chaos 2 is on his side but Mauler must've been trying to damage Chaos 2 but knocked them back over instead and that's a lucky break for George Francis' team as they don't want to lose their title and now Mauler is up underneath the rails in the arena and is trying to self-right but havin' a hard time and Refbot fears that Mauler is done for but Mauler gets back over.

SM: CEASE!
SF: So which one is it going to be? Chaos 2 through to the next round. Next up, Spin2Win and BULLdozer.

SM: From the United States, Spin2Win
SF: Spin2Win with that low front wedge and rear spikes can run either way up but is pretty high in the middle in terms of ground clearance.

SM: From the USA, BULLdozer
SF: The lightest of these two robots at 121 pounds has a front bulldozer scoop and treads just like the real thing.

SM: Roboteers...........standby..........
SF: Spin2Win's Dave Rose there in the box. BULLdozer's builder Jerome Miles at the controls. Down on the arena floor to join our competitors will be Shunt and his diamond-edged axe. Alongside him is Matilda.

SM: 3..........2..........1..........ACTIVATE!
SF: Here's our final battle of the night but it looks to be over already as BULLdozer is on his side and has no way to get back onto his feet so here comes Spin2Win to push him right out of the arena!

SM: CEASE!
MF: That was the shortest match of the tournament so far as it was over in like 5 seconds. The House Robots didn't even get to do anything besides stay in their corners. That's all for this edition. Please tune in next time as we conclude this awesome tournament. This is Mick Foley saying "Fight On!".
Episode 12:
SF: Another 3 robots are waiting to fight it out tonight as we start the Semi-Finals and here they are. Chaos 2 up against Wheelchair Bot, Punjar up against Dominator 2 but first Firestorm IV against Spin2Win.

SM: From Durham, Firestorm IV
SF: Firestorm IV in at 220 pounds has that outward flippin' flipper that has proven effective so far and it also has the wedge design.

SM: From the  United States, Spin2Win
SF: The invertible Spin2Win in at 145 pounds has a front wedge and some rear spikes for some rammin' if it comes down to that.

SM: Roboteers..........standby.........
SF: There's Spin2Win with Dave Rose at the controls. Firestorm IV with Graham Bone up in the box. In our own box with the competitor robots will be the flame thrower of Sgt Bash. Plus the pincers of Dead Metal.

SM: 3..........2.........1............ACTIVATE!
SF: Spin2Win with that low wedge getting right underneath but Firestorm is able to get away and he needs to if he doesn't want to be taken advantage of. Oh Firestorm gets flipped but that flipper acts as a self-righter so Firestorm is back in this but look at Spin2Win having no problem flipping Firestorm another 3 times! This is sure going to be a tough one for the Firestorm boys but now Spin2Win is inverted, which means that wedge is useless now as Firestorm is now using this to his advantage but looks like he got a little too aggressive and has put Spin2Win back upright but has triggered the Pit as well. Someone's going down but the question is which one. Doesn't look like we'll be finding out as the 10 second clock has kicked in so the judges will decide.

SM: CEASE!
MF: It's a close call here as both robots were still moving after the time expired and I've just received word that Spin2Win are the winners!

SF: Firestorm, just not enough control in that battle there. What a shame for that team. Next up, it's Chaos 2 up against Wheelchair Bot.

SM: From the United States, Wheelchair Bot
SF: The sturdy Wheelchair Bot at 145 pounds can run either way up and is pretty low to the ground on either side.

SM: From Ipswich, the reigning champion Chaos 2
SF: Chaos 2 in at 175 pounds comes with its flipper that has left no doubt why it's the king of the competition.

SM: Roboteers.............standby...........
SF: There's Chaos 2 with the driver George Francis and his team. Wheelchair Bot with Christian Carlberg up in the box. Guardin' those CPZs will be Matilda and her chainsaw. With her is the heaviest of all, Sir Killalot.

SM: 3...........2............1.............ACTIVATE!
SF: Wheelchair Bot under Chaos 2's flipper and immediately flips him onto his back! Chaos 2, doin' the other thing he does best and that's get himself back onto his wheels quickly but Wheelchair Bot just as quick and flips him again! Wow, Chaos 2 havin' a real struggle in this one. Oh, now Chaos 2 has flipped Wheelchair Bot but I wonder whether or not the wedge on the front of Wheelchair Bot will be anymore effective and it seems that it's less effective as Chaos 2 is underneath and pushing him around with Wheelchair Bot having no traction whatsoever! Chaos 2 havin' another onslaught and uh-oh, those wheels on Wheelchair Bot aren't movin' and Refbot is looking to see whether or not Wheelchair Bot is immobilized and it looks like he is as we're seein' Christian movin' the controls but not getting any response from the robot so that last attack from Chaos 2 must've done somethin' to the controls because Wheelchair Bot is out of there.

SM: CEASE!
MF: Chaos creating chaos on Wheelchair Bot to knock him down for good and moves straight on through. Who is battling it out next?

SF: Our last bout tonight features Punjar and Dominator 2.
SM: From Huntington, Dominator 2
SF: Dominator 2 in at 220 pounds has that strong axe and unique wedge at the front to do some major pushin'.

SM: From the United States, Punjar
SF: Punjar with his pushin' power as well in at 210 pounds has a scoop on the front, which will really make this a battle of the shovers.

SM: Roboteers...........standby...........
SF: There's Dominator 2 with Paul Tolliday at the controls. Punjar with Ramiro Mallari controlling his robot. We've got some pushin' power of our own in the name of Shunt. How about some flippin' power as well with Matilda.

SM: 3.........2..........1............ACTIVATE!
SF: So let's see who has the stronger shove and it appears to be Punjar as he puts Dominator 2 on his back end but knocks him on his side and Dominator 2 gets back over. Both robots on their backs now and that just goes to show the power these two have when it comes to pushing around and both of them are back in this one. Now Dominator 2 is up on top of Punjar and has no wheels on the ground so this is a free drive for Punjar who has him up against the rails but somehow Dominator 2 is able to get away. Punjar underneath again and has him up against the side wall again but this time Dominator 2 is out of there!

SM: CEASE!
MF: Boy I tell ya, that match was looking to be quite the battle but Punjar was just too much for Dominator 2 and he's going through.

SF: So here are the final 6 robots for this last semi-final round: Chaos 2, Lifter, Punjar, Mauler, Spin2Win, and BULLdozer.

MF: That's all for this edition. Please tune in next time as we finish our quest for glory, right here on Robot Wars. Until then, fight on!
Episode 11:
SF: We're getting down to the wire here as we enter the last part of our Quarter Final. So here's how they line up. Anto up against Mauler, BULLdozer up against Mauler II but first Lifter up against Suicidal Tendencies.

SM: From Derby, Suicidal Tendencies
SF: Suicidal Tendencies in at 210 pounds has a front crushing beak and a front scoop.

SM: From the United States of America, Lifter
SF: Lifter also in at 210 pounds has a lethal actuated lifting arm and side skirts for protection.

SM: Roboteers......standby....
SF: There's Suicidal Tendencies with Charles Binns up in the booth. Over there is Lifter with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls for his team. Our competitors will have to deal with the House Robots like all 616 pounds of Sir Killalot and Matilda with her tusks and chainsaw.

SM: 3........2.........1........ACTIVATE!
SF: Here's our first battle as Suicidal Tendencies gets right underneath Lifter but Lifter slips off the scoop design and is lucky to get away. Suicidal Tendencies having no trouble at all getting underneath and pushes Lifter around again but still Lifter is able to get away. Oh Lifter gets flipped over but that arm can self-right and he does. Suicidal Tendencies has him again but look at the balancing act performed by Lifter as he's right on his rear end! I tell ya, I didn't see that coming at all with those angled wedges making this a near impossibility but Lifter gets off before Tendencies can reach the wall. Now Lifter is underneath Suicidal Tendencies and has him on his side against the rails! Wow, what a shame this would be if Suicidal Tendencies goes out like this after being so dominant in this battle. Refbot coming to have a look and Suicidal Tendencies can't seem to get off the wall so it's over for him. Out come the House Robots and Matilda triggers the Pit but puts Suicidal Tendencies on the Flipper but oh no, she flips herself as well! She just stood there for too long and now it's up to Killalot to finish the job and into the Pit for Suicidal Tendencies.

SM: CEASE!
MF: Suicidal Tendencies having the tendency to commit Boticide and ends up in the Pit. Who's up next?

SF: Next up, Mick, it's Mauler II up against BULLdozer.
SM: From the United States, Mauler II
SF: Mauler II in at 210 pounds is a spinbot with flails on the sides.
SM: From the United States, BULLdozer
SF: BULLdozer in at 121 pounds has a front bulldozer blade so maybe Shunt has some competition out there?

SM: Roboteers...........standby...........
SF: Mauler II with Morgan Tilford up in the box. BULLdozer with Jerome Miles at the controls. The House Robots for this battle will be Dead Metal and his arsenal of destructive weaponry. Alongside him will be Sgt Bash.

SM: 3..........2...........1.............ACTIVATE!
SF: Look at the impacts of both robots as they're practically flying backwards away from each other! Mauler now up on his head but is able to get back over but BULLdozer not letting up and puts him back on his head seconds later. Oh now Mauler II is on top of Refbot and Refbot backs away not really wanting any part of it or any part to lose for that matter. BULLdozer has his lifting scoop facing the arena floor but that's not going to do any good as he gets it back down and sends Mauler II out of the arena!

SM: CEASE!
MF: Mauler took a licking and kept on ticking until he got himself a but kicking out of the arena. Let's go to the battle board for our last match.

SF: Last up, it's Anto up against Mauler.
SM: From the United States, Mauler
SF: The original Mauler in at 210 pounds has that low center of gravity and is another spinbot.

SM: From the USA, Anto
CM The 122 pound Anto has a front cutting disk and is pretty maneuverable.

SM: Roboteers..........standby..........
SF: There's Anto with Craig Danby at the controls. Mauler with Morgan Tilford back in his box. In those CPZs will be Dead Metal again and the deadly hands of Sir Killalot.

SM: 3..........2...........1............ACTIVATE!
SF: I'm not to sure that either design will help get underneath but both bots are sent flying with Mauler landing on his head and Anto on one of his two wheels. Mauler able to self-right but Anto can't as his self-righting mechanism is on the other wheel or his head. I think Mauler is trying to get Anto out but Anto's wheel is preventing this. Refbot is going to check and see if Anto is okay but Anto gets out! Anto's not out of the woods yet, no sir as he's still on that one wheel but Mauler able to give him an assist and he's back on two wheels again. Oh now both robots are out of the arena so who will go through?

SM: CEASE!
MF: Well, seeing as how Anto went out first, Mauler will be declared the winner. That's it for this edition of Robot Wars. Please tune in next time as we draw closer to a new Robot Wars champion. Until then, fight on!
Episode 10:
SF: On this episode of Robot Wars, 3 more robots will attain glory and the other 3 will suffer defeat and here's how they line up. Anto 2 up against Wheelchair Bot, S.A.W. II up against Quarter Pounder but first Swinging Knife against Punjar.

SM: From the United States, Punjar
SF: Punjar in at 210 pounds is very low to the ground and can self-right if he lands on his head.

SM: From the United States, Swinging Knife
SF: Swinging Knife slightly lighter at 208 pounds can operate either way up and has both a front wedge and a rear knife-blade.

SM: Roboteers.........standby..............
SF: Ramiro Mallari is at the controls for the Punjar team. Christian Carlberg controls Swinging Knife. The house robots for this bout will be the big daddy Sir Killalot and the flame throwin' pincer crushing action of Sgt Bash.

SM: 3...........2.........1..........ACTIVATE!
SF: Here we go for our first battle as Swinging Knife gets underneath Punjar but can't seem to hold him or flip him over. Now both robots having a bit of a stalemate then back off. Uh-oh, Swinging Knife is on top of Punjar and his wheels aren't even touching the ground but look at the speed of Punjar as he dumps Swinging Knife out of the arena!

SM: CEASE!
MF: Swinging Knife does a swing and a miss to get dumped out of the arena. Here comes our next match up.

SF: Indeed, Mick as it's Anto 2 up against Wheelchair Bot.
SM: From the United States of America, Anto 2
SF: Anto 2, one of the lightest bots in this tournament at 122 pounds has a front ram but he's a little high in the rear as that ground clearance might leave him at a disadvantage but we'll see.

SM: Also from the USA, Wheelchair Bot
SF: Wheelchair Bot an invertible design with that front wedge.
SM: Roboteers..........standby...........
SF: There's Wheelchair Bot with Christian Carlberg up in the box. Anto 2's driver Craig at the controls. In those CPZs will be Shunt and his major push ability. Alongside him is the 3000 RPM saw and pincers of Dead Metal.

SM: 3........2..........1..........ACTIVATE!
SF: Anto 2 is up on his head but we know he can get back over and he quickly does. Wheelchair Bot just seems to be the better robot here as he flips Anto 2 again and again. Oh now Wheelchair Bot is flipped over. That's going to make it even harder to be flipped back as that front wedge is nearly completely on the ground. Uh-oh, Anto 2 is near Shunt's CPZ so he'd better move out of there as Shunt will make him regret it but  he got out of there pretty quickly. Both robots up on their sides and can run this way but it looks like they're at a bit of a stalemate as Wheelchair Bot can't seem to push Anto 2 anywhere. Wheelchair Bot back on his inverted side and both robots are moving to the Pit trigger and Anto 2 is up on his head again. Looks like Anto 2 has a wheel outside the arena wall, which will limit his mobility in the arena as Wheelchair Bot is trying to push him out and manages to succeed!

SM: CEASE!
MF: Anto 2 really couldn't put up much of a fight and ended up out of the arena. So let's see who rounds out tonight's episode.

SF: We're going to see Quarter Pounder up against Dominator 2.
SM: From Huntington, Dominator 2
SF: Dominator 2 in at 220 pounds has that front axe and unique wedge design.

SM: From the United States, Quarter Pounder
SF: Quarter Pounder also has an axe that's bound to leave opponents nice and tender.

SM: Roboteers...........standby..........
SF: There's Quarter Pounder with Patrick Campbell at the controls. Dominator 2 with Paul Tolliday up in the box. We can't forget the House Robots like the chainsaw and tusks of Matilda. Plus the pincers and lance of Sir Killalot.

SM: 3...........2............1.............ACTIVATE!
SF: Dominator 2 starting out by really firing that axe and hitting Quarter Pounder in some good places as Quarter Pounder can't get underneath at all so far and is now flipped over but able to right itself. Now we wait and see if they can get their axe on Dominator 2. Dominator 2 missing there but still firin' away. This looks like it'll be one for the judges to decide as the 10 second clock winds down.

SM: CEASE!
MF: I've just been told that it was a close decision in favor of Dominator 2! Whew, I don't think I could've called that one myself if I were a judge. That's it for this episode of Robot Wars. Please tune in next time as we press on for the Grand Final. Until then, fight on!

Episode 9:
SF: It's time for Robot Wars and another three robots have to battle it out for the semi finals so let's see who's fighting today. It's Wild Thing up against Firestorm IV, X-Terminator 2 up against Spin2Win but first reigning champion Chaos 2 up against Bender.

SM: From Ipswich, seed number 1 and reigning champion, Chaos 2
SF: The awesome Chaos 2 in at 175 pounds has that lethal flipper that everyone knows about.

SM: From the United States, Bender
SF: Bender in at 210 pounds has a large blade on top and he's pretty low to the ground.

SM: Roboteers............standby.........
SF: There's Chaos 2 with George Francis the driver. Bender with that massive blade and Eric Stoliker at the controls. Accompanying our two bots will be our own Matilda with her chainsaw and tusks. Alongside her is the deadly pincers and saw of Dead Metal.

SM: 3...........2...........1...........ACTIVATE!
SF: Here we go for the first battle of the night as both robots are struggling to get underneath, mostly because Bender is so low to the ground but Chaos 2 finds the gap somehow and puts Bender on his head. Luckily Bender has that self-righting mechanism or this one would've been over quickly. Seems like these two robots are a near-perfect match as they're back to struggling against each other but now Bender flips Chaos 2! We know Chaos 2 can get back over and he does. I think this bout will certainly be one to go all the way and those Judges will probably have some hard thinking to decide who goes through if it ends up going the distance but Chaos 2 has sent Bender airborne again but Bender landed on his wheels so he's still in this one. Wow, Bender, whom I thought was lucky to get underneath on the first flip, has done it again and Chaos 2 is on his back once again but quickly back over. We're windin' down in this one as Chaos 2 manages to get another flip right at the end.

SM: CEASE!
SF: I wouldn't want to be the Judges here as I can't decide who's got this one. Looks like the Judges went with Chaos 2 and what a lucky one it was for George Francis.

MF: Chaos 2 creating chaos and takes a narrow victory into the next round. Who's up next?

SF: It's Wild Thing against Firestorm, Mick.
SM: From Hampshire, Wild Thing
SF: Wild Thing in at 220 pounds has that spinnin' blade that the team boasts about spinnin' at 6000 RPM but I haven't seen that yet but maybe we'll see a change in this bout.

SM: From Durham, Firestorm IV
SF: Firestorm IV in at 220 pounds as well has that flipper and front wedge.

SM: Roboteers.............standby........
SF: There's Firestorm IV with Graham Bone at the controls. Wild Thing with Nick Adams up in the booth. We have some bots of our own in the arena in the form of Shunt with his great pushin' power and Sgt Bash with his flames and pincers.

SM: 3.........2...........1.............ACTIVATE!
SF: Firestorm straight away has gotten underneath Wild Thing and I think he's trying to get him out of the arena but oh no, he's stuck at the arena's side himself! Good thing he's able to get away or it'd have been pretty disappointing to do all the work and lose in the process. Wild Thing is underneath Firestorm now but that blade isn't helping too much for that wedge as Firestorm is able to get away. Firestorm, meanwhile is underneath Wild Thing again but somehow Wild Thing slips away. Firestorm is giving it another go to bring Wild Thing near Shunt but Wild Thing is able to slip away again. Wild Thing is up on his side in an empty CPZ or Corner Patrol Zone but that disc of Wild Thing able to help out there. Wild Thing going for the Pit trigger so someone's going down and it looks like it might be Wild Thing ironically but Wild Thing slips away yet again as the 10 second clock counts down. It's up to the Judges now.

SM: CEASE!
SF: And the Judges go with Firestorm IV, which isn't really a surprise considering the numerous times it got underneath and pushed Wild Thing around.

MF: Wild Thing couldn't make Firestorm's motor sing and heads back home. Who's ready for more demolition?

SF: For the last battle tonight, it's X-Terminator 2 against Spin2Win.
SM: From Belmont, X-Terminator 2
SF: X-Terminator 2 in at 220 pounds has a flipper, scoop, and a way to get back over from the sides.

SM: From the United States, Spin2Win
SF: Spin2Win in at 145 pounds has rear spikes and a front wedge.
SM: Roboteers............standby............
SF: There's Spin2Win with Dave Rose up in the booth. X-Terminator with Marlon Prichard at the controls. Guarding those CPZs will be Sir Killalot and the awesome pincer-saw combo of Dead Metal.

SM: 3...............2............1..............ACTIVATE!
SF: Spin2Win having no problem getting underneath and pushing X-Terminator up against the rails where X-Terminator gets to show off that side self-righting mechanism I talked about and is back on his wheels. Spin2Win takes X-Terminator to Sir Killalot now and Sir Killalot will make them feel it but X-Terminator gets away! Spin2Win puts X-Terminator on his back end and up near the rails so those side self-righters aren't going to do any good as Refbot comes to check it out. Spin2Win opens the Pit, probably to give X-Terminator a quick burial to put him out of his misery but Killalot isn't ready for the Pit just yet and gives X-Terminator a little air time with the Flipper. Too bad X-Terminator didn't land back on his wheels when he was up on his rear a few minutes ago because now Dead Metal will be the one for making the burial and it is done.

SM: CEASE!
MF: X-Terminator not yet living up to its name while Spin2Win does win and moves on. That's it for this edition of Robot Wars. Please tune in next time when we continue the quest for robot glory. Until then, I'm Mick Foley saying "Fight On".
Episode 8:
SF: Tonight's Robot Wars features the last of our eliminators and the start of our Semi Finals. Here's how they line up with Suicidal Tendencies up against All-Weather Tire Bot now just Tire Bot, Dominator 2 up against S.A.W. II but first RA up against Anto.

SM:
From the United States, Anto
SF: Anto in at 122 pounds has a front cutting disk but his wheels are very vulnerable.

SM: From the United States, RA
SF: RA in at 100 pounds has a tire shell and can drive either way but there's no hope for him if he lands on his side.

SM: Roboteers..........standby.........
SF: There's Anto with Craig Danby up in the booth. RA with Solomon Spector at the controls. For our House Robots, there's going to be Dead Metal and his pincers and overhead saw. Joinin' Dead Metal will be the tusks and chainsaw of Matilda.

SM: 3...........2...........1.............ACTIVATE!
SF: Here we go for our first battle as Anto is up on his side which limits his mobility in the arena and RA is taking advantage. Oh no, RA is out of the arena! He slipped right through the arena wall there and that means Anto gets to go through without having to really do much at all.

SM: CEASE!
MF: Anto in the least helpful situation ends up winning the bout and leaving RA out of the arena. Let's go to our second battle.

SF: It's Tire Bot and Suicidal Tendencies.
SM: From Derby, Suicidal Tendencies
SF: Suicidal Tendencies in at 210 pounds has a front scoop and a pneumatic crushing beak.

SM: From the United States, Tire Bot
SF: Tire Bot in at 102 pounds has a round shell and can self-right but like our first battler RA, this guy can't come back if he's tipped over.

SM: Roboteers.............standby..........
SF: Suicidal Tendencies with Charles Binns up in the booth. There's Tire Bot controlled by Ryan Porchia. We've got robots in the CPZs like Shunt and the deadly hands of Sir Killalot.

SM: 3............2...........1..............ACTIVATE!
SF: Both robots havin' a little bit of a struggle out there but now it looks like Suicidal Tendencies is underneath Tire Bot and pushin' him up against the rails. Tire Bot is lucky to get away but now ST has his crushing beak down, which isn't going to help him grab TB at all but I don't think he can any way but ST has flipped himself over and uses that self-rightin' mechanism to get back on his feet. ST has TB again and this time he's going for the Pit Trigger. Oh no and now TB is on his side! Well we mentioned the weakness of this robot earlier and now Refbot sees another lifeless robot out there and is countin' him down. Shunt now has TB and is setting him up for the Flipper but TB just doesn't want to stay put, whether either of them want to or not but TB gets a tap from the Flipper and is on his head so Shunt lines him up for a little more airtime. This time, TB landed on the other side of the arena and Sir Killalot is going for the burial.

SM: CEASE!
MF: Suicidal Tendencies' objective was anything but suicide and dumps Tire Bot into the Pit. Let's see who's next.

SF: Alright, Mick, we have one more battle left and it's S.A.W. II up against Dominator 2.

SM: From the United States, S.A.W. II
SF: S.A.W. II in at 110 pounds has a front saw and upper spikes but those tires are wide open to damage.

SM: From Huntington, Dominator 2
SF: The awesome Dominator 2 in at twice the weight of S.A.W. II at 220 pounds has a front wedge and that powerful axe we know so much about.

SM: Roboteers............standby............
SF: There's Dominator 2 with Paul Tolliday up in the box. S.A.W. II with Korey Kline at the controls. The House Bots in this round will be Sgt Bash and the return of Shunt.

SM: 3...........2............1.............ACTIVATE!
SF: Dominator 2 being the early aggressor here and gets underneath but S.A.W. II has great driving ability and design and gets away. Dominator 2 has him in the clutches and flips him over near Shunt's corner. Maybe Shunt can help him out but S.A.W. II is back on his wheels yet Dominator 2 has him teetering on the edge of the arena! S.A.W. II trying to use his wheels to get out of there but Dominator 2 puts him out of the arena.

SM: CEASE!
MF: Dominator 2 dominating the fight and leaving S.A.W. II a forgotten memory. That's all for this edition of Robot Wars. Please tune in next time when another 6 robots settle their lust for domination in the arena. Until then, fight on!
Episode 7:
SF: Welcome to another edition of Robot Wars and tonight, we're back to regular battles.

MF: Our House Robots have had their fun in our arena against our competitors but now it's back to their corners as we see who will be annihilated next so let's see who we have.

SF: Alright, Mick, we're going to see Mauler up against Forklift, Grappler against BULLdozer but first up Alpha Raptor's Revenge up against Quarter Pounder

SM: From the United States, Quarter Pounder.
SF: Quarter Pounder in at 210 pounds has a nasty battleaxe for it's weapon.

SM: From the United States, Alpha Raptor's Revenge.
SF: Alpha Raptor's Revenge in at 112 pounds has not much of a weapon to speak of or a self-righting mechanism so they'd better not get flipped over.

SM: Roboteers.......standby......
SF: There's Alpha Raptor's Revenge with Chuck Pitzer up in the booth. Quarter Pounder with Patrick Campbell at the controls. With them tonight are our house bots like the hands of Sir Killalot. Or the flames of Sgt Bash.

SM: 3..........2...........1...........ACTIVATE!
SF: Here's our first round battle and it looks like it might be over already as Alpha Raptor's Revenge is on his head and there's no way out for him there. Quarter Pounder triggers the Pit and Refbot has a look. This is certainly one of our quickest battles here and Sgt Bash wants to see some air and puts Alpha Raptor's Revenge on the Flipper so let's see how far he goes. Not too far and still upside down as Sir Killalot puts an end to this short battle.

SM: CEASE!
MF: No revenge for Alpha Raptor's Revenge as he had no time to react before  he was flipped over and into the Pit. Let's go back to the board for the next bout.

SF: Here we go, Mick as it's Mauler up against Forklift.
SM: From the United States, Mauler
SF: Mauler in at 210 pounds is a nasty spinbot.
SM: Also from the United States, Forklift
SF: Forklift the lightest of the two in at 120 pounds has a rear forklift, which doesn't look that impressive but we'll see.

SM: Roboteers.........standby........
SF: Mauler with Morgan Tilford at the controls. There's Forklift with Gage Cauchois up in the booth. In those CPZs we have Shunt with his axe and major pushin'. Alongside him is Dead Metal and his 3000 RPM saw.

SM: 3........2.........1..........ACTIVATE!
SF: I just hope this battle will be longer than the first one so there's more destruction and it looks like it's going to be that way as both robots are having some trouble getting underneath each other but Mauler gets that spinnin' dome going and tries showing Forklift how to pop a wheelie but Forklift is still upright. Forklift's tryin' tot get underneath with the wedge and Mauler just tears it right off! What power from that weaponry! Luckily, Forklift's still able to move but he's flipped Mauler and himself! Mauler's got a self-righting mechanism on his head so he's back over but Forklift can drive either way up but he's being pushed into the CPZ but it's empty thankfully for Forklift but Forklift could be on the verge of being thrown out of the arena but Mauler can't seem to do it so Forklift is able to get away. The 10 second clock is ticking down and both robots get a final flip as this one is over.

SM: CEASE!
SF: Looks like it's a judges decision and the judges have given it to Mauler, which doesn't surprise me too much even though Forklift had a couple of flips on Mauler.

MF: Forklift gets a lift out of the competition. Now there's one more score to settle tonight so let's go to the board.

SF: It's Grappler and BULLdozer.
SM: From the United States, Grappler
SF: Grappler in at 100 pounds has a grabbing arm for a weapon but there's no way back for him if he lands on his head.

SM: From the United States, BULLdozer
SF: BULLdozer in at 121 pounds has a front bulldozer scoop that can lift and push.

SM: Roboteers...........standby........
SF: There's Grappler with Alec Aizner at the controls. BULLdozer with Jerome Miles up in the box. For our own robots we have Matilda with her chainsaw. With her is Shunt.

SM: 3..........2.........1...........ACTIVATE!
SF: BULLdozer has that scoop and he's using it to lift Grappler into the air but Grappler able to slide off but oh no, Grappler's on his head and as we know, it's over for him and BULLdozer wants to get rid of him and brings him to an unoccupied Corner Patrol Zone and is working to get Grappler out and there he goes.

SM: CEASE!
MF: Grappler couldn't get a grip on victory so he's been pushed out of the arena. That's it for this edition. Tune in next time as more robots settle their scores in the arena. Until then, fight on!
Episode 6:
MF: Tonight's battles are part of a special event pitting 3 of our foolish competitors against 3 of our own House Robots. Let's see who is fighting today. It's the one and only House Robot Rebellion!

SF: Here they are it's Plunderbird 5 up against Shunt, Panic Attack up against Matilda but first our champion Chaos 2 up against Dead Metal.

SM:
From Ipswich, Chaos 2
SF: Chaos 2 in at 175 pounds has a flipper ramp which has shown some awesome power.

SM: From the House Robots, Dead Metal
SF: Our very own Dead Metal with 250 pounds of pincers, saw and utter destruction.

SM: Roboteers.........standby........
SF: Chaos 2 with George Francis up in the booth. There's our own House Robot Dead Metal. There aren't going to be any House Robots for this event since they'll be in the arena for the battles.

SM: 3........2........1..........ACTIVATE!
SF: Here is our first battle in the House Robot Rebellion as Chaos 2 gets right underneath Dead Metal's pincers and shoves him around the arena but Dead Metal gets away. Chaos 2 showing no mercy here as he gets underneath Dead Metal and the two of them end up in an empty CPZ but Dead Metal is still right-side up. Here comes Chaos 2 with another go and oh no Dead Metal is on his side! Well we know no self-righting mechanism for Dead Metal there as his own family member Refbot counts him out while Chaos 2 opens the Pit for the burial and puts him in.

SM: CEASE!
MF: Dead Metal now just dead in his own grave from the Pit and Chaos 2 are the winners of the first bout. Now let's see who's up next.

SF: Here it is, Mick, Plunderbird 5 up against the diamond-edged axe of Shunt.

SM: From Hampshire, Plunderbird 5
SF: Plunderbird 5 in at 218 lbs has a crushing beak and a front wedge.
SM: From the House Robots, Shunt
SF: Our lightest House Robot in at 240 pounds has a front scoop and diamond-edged axe.

SM: Roboteers.........standby.........
SF: There's Plunderbird 5 with Mike Onslow at the controls. Our very own Shunt waitin' for some carnage.

SM: 3..........2........1...........ACTIVATE!
SF: Look at the pushin' power of Shunt as he's completely underneath Plunderbird and puts him right up against the rails, flipping him over but the Plunderbird boys have a working self-righting mechanism to get back in this and are shoved by Shunt once again. Well Shunt may be the lightest but he's no lightweight when it comes to pushing and uh-oh, Plunderbird is under Shunt but luckily Shunt got away. Shunt with another flip on Plunderbird but that self-righter working wonders for Plunderbird as they're still alive but wait a minute, Shunt has flipped them onto their side! We know there's no way out for Plunderbird there so Shunt has won this time and is proceeding to put them on the flipper as they've been counted out by Refbot and are tossed back onto their wheels but it's too late for them now as Shunt performs a burial.

SM: CEASE!
MF: Plunderbird makes a blunder and ends up in the Pit of doom, making Shunt the winner of battle 2. We still have one more challenger and one more House Robot to try and make them sorry so let's find out who they are.

SF: It's Panic Attack up against Matilda
SM: From Whales, Panic Attack
SF: Panic Attack in at 211 pounds has rammin' spikes and side skirts.
SM: From the House Robots, Matilda
SF: Matilda in at 256 pounds with lifting tusks and a rear chainsaw.
SM: Roboteers..........standby.........
SF: Panic Attack with Kim Davies up in the booth. There's our matriarch of mayhem Matilda.

SM: 3...........2..........1............ACTIVATE!
SF: Both robots havin' a hard time getting underneath since Panic Attack doesn't have his lifting forks to help him out and Matilda's tusks aren't very long but manage to get underneath and flip Panic Attack over but Panic Attack using that righting mechanism is back over and the two of them are back to frontal stalemates as I'll be calling them here and Panic Attack has been flipped again! Maybe Matilda will be the winner of this one. Oh no, Matilda is on her side! Wow, how unfortunate for the House Robots' only female to go out and here comes Refbot to count her out. Panic Attack meanwhile opens the Pit and we all know who the visitor will be, Matilda and down she goes.

SM: CEASE!
MF: Our Matriarch suffering a Mistake to get flipped onto her side and pitted, leaving Panic Attack the winners! Join us next time when we return to our regular tournament with another 6 robots. Until then, fight on!
Episode 5:
SF: Welcome to another episode of Robot Wars and last time, you would've seen Dominator 2 take out Wheely Big Cheese and Firestorm IV narrowly escape over Tornado.

MF: The robots are ready to rumble so let's see what we have this week.

SF: Alright, Mick, we have Mega Morg against Mauler II, Bender up against Angler but first Wild Thing against Hypno Disc.

SM: From Ash in Hampshire, Wild Thing
SF: Wild Thing in at 220 pounds has a 6000 RPM disc or so they say and a mini flipper to help turn themselves back over or their opponents completely over.

SM: From Middleton Cheney, Hypno Disc
SF: The awesome Hypno Disc also in at 220 pounds has that rotary disk that's been locked down but no srimech if flipped over.

SM: Roboteers.........standby....
SF: Wild Thing with Nick Adams in the booth. There's Hypno Disc with Dave Rose at the controls. We can't forget the House Robots and for this bout it'll be Dead Metal with his pincers and saw. Plus the nasty Sir Killalot.

SM: 3........2........1........ACTIVATE!
SF: Here we go with round 1 as both robots havin' a hard time getting underneath each other but there's some good hits going on. Wild Thing finally getting underneath Hypno Disc but Hypno Disc able to slide off and get away. Oh Hypno Disk nearly on their side there as Wild Thing got underneath them again. Hypno Disc has been lucky so far but uh-oh, both robots are immobilized it looks like. We know HD can't right from his topside and Wild Thing is on his side! Wow so both robots will need to be righted since we otherwise have no fight. There they go, back in this fight and straight away, Wild Thing flips Hypno Disc! It's all over for them I'm afraid and what a way to go as this was a rematch from Series 4 when Hypno Disc went through doing sufficient damage. Wild Thing opens the Pit and we know who is going inside it. Killalot puts Hypno Disc on the flipper and oh it made a hole in one! Didn't know the flipper was such a good golfer.

SM: CEASE!
MF: Wild Thing certainly made Hypno Disc's heart stop rather than sing and moves through. Let's see who's up next.

SF: Alright, Mick, its Mega Morg up against Mauler II.
SM: From Panduit in Swansea, Mega Morg
SF: Mega Morg in at 218 pounds has a front lifter but it's real slow and no srimech.

SM: From the United States, Mauler II
SF: The awesome Mauler II in at 210 pounds has spinnin' dome as its weapon.

SM: Roboteers.......standby......
SF: Mauler 5150 with Morgan Tilford up in the booth. There's Mega Morg with Dorian Caudy at the controls. With them is our House Robots and first will be Shunt and his diamond-edged axe. Joinin' him will be the flamethrower of Sgt Bash.

SM: 3.........2..........1...........ACTIVATE!
SF: Here we go for our second bout as both robots havin' a hard time getting underneath but eventually Mega Morg finds it but Mauler gets away. This could be a tough bout for the two of them but Mega Morg seems to have his lifer caught underneath the spinnin' dome of Mauler II and puts Mauler II underneath the rails. Mauler now looks to be stuck there but again able to get away. The Mauler team really hasn't shown anything thus far except their ability to get away from danger but they just rolled right into Mega Morg's weapon again and are pushed back up against the rails. Oh no, Mega Morg went into Shunt's CPZ, which is fair game for Shunt to attack and Mega Morg is on his side! Well they have no self-righting mechanism there so Mauler gets to move through without having to do much of anything except maybe breathing a sigh of relief. Refbot knows there's no hope for Mega Morg now and counts him down. Sgt Bash has opened the Pit and it's time for a morgue as Shunt puts the lifeless Mega Morg into the Pit.

SM: CEASE!
MF: No mauling for Mauler II but plenty of misfortune for the Mega Morg, who is out of there, Let's find out what our last bout is.

SF: It's Angler up against Bender.
SM: From the United States, Angler.
SF: Angler in at 210 pounds has a locked lifting arm and really low side skirts.

SM: Also from the United States, Bender.
SF: Bender also in at 210 pounds has a locked blade, which I don't think will do anything but we'll see.

SM: Roboteers.......standby........
SF: There's Bender with Eric Stoliker at the controls. Angler with Carlo Bertoccini up in the booth. We still have our House Robots and for this bout, it'll be our matriarch of mayhem, Matilda. With her is Sir Killalot.

SM: 3.........2.........1..........ACTIVATE!
SF: This bout is startin' off like our last one as neither one is able to get underneath the design of the other. Angler manages to get underneath Bender from his back end, literally but Bender is able to get away. This bout could go all the way as once again both robots are having trouble getting underneath their opponent's. They both must be well designed to have this happen twice in one match. Bender gets a little air from Angler. Not sure how that happened but now we have both robots immobilized. Bender should be able to self-right but it's not workin' so we'll have to right them. There they go and Angler is on his back! What a shame as they were doing so well in this bout and Bender gets to basically get off scot free. Killalot brings the Pit and that's where Angler's going very shortly after a little air from the Flipper and he nearly went out of the arena! Could've made a goal if there were football goal posts in the arena but Bender puts Angler in the hole.

SM: CEASE!
MF: Angler simply didn't have an angle of attack that could defeat Bender and got kicked out of the competition. That's all for this edition. Tune in next time when 6 more robots fight for glory. Until then, fight on!
Episode 4:
SF: It's time for Robot Wars and another 6 robots have some battles to get off of their chests and here they are. Panic Attack up against Dominator 2, Tornado up against Firestorm but first Wheely Big Cheese against Swinging Knife.

SM: From Langport, Wheely Big Cheese
SF: Wheely Big Cheese in at 218 pounds has a massive flipper that's been locked down for this version and giant wheels.

SM: From the United States, Swinging Knife
SF: Swinging Knife in at 208 pounds has a front wedge and that lethal knife it's known for.

SM: Roboteers..........standby..........
SF: Wheely Big Cheese with Roger Plant in the booth. There's Swinging Knife with Christian Carlberg at the controls. They aren't alone in the arena for we have House Robots and they are Shunt with the axe and scoop and the matriarch of mayhem, Matilda.

SM: 3.........2........1..........ACTIVATE!
SF: So here we go for the first bout as Swinging Knife totally misses Wheely Big Cheese and is now stuck under the rails! Wow, poor driving there but he's luckily able to get away. Wheely Big Cheese now being pushed around and flipped over but he has a self-righting mechanism to get back over. Swinging Knife is now virtually impossible to flip over as he's very low to the ground but his weapon can't properly operate, at least the rear one can't as he's usin' the front wedge very effectively to flip Wheely Big Cheese over and over. Not much Wheely Big Cheese can do at this point I don't think and definitely not now as he's out of the arena.

SM: CEASE!
MF: Swinging Knife, a swing and a miss, then a home run as he takes Wheely Big Cheese back to the bakery. Let's see who's up next.

SF: Alright, Mick, it's Tornado up against Firestorm IV.
SM: From Huntington, Tornado
SF: Tornado in at 172 pounds has a nasty spinnin blade at the front and a self-righting mechanism for this version.

SM: From Durham, Firestorm IV.
SF: Firestorm IV in at 220 pounds has a front flipper, or more of a wedge for this one.

SM: Roboteers.........standby......
SF: There's Firestorm IV with Graham Bone on at the controls. There's Tornado with Andrew Marchant in the booth. Joinin' them will be the deadly Sir Killalot and the flamethrower of Sgt Bash.

SM: 3........2........1...........ACTIVATE!
SF: Here's the start of our second round as Firestorm gets underneath Tornado and shows him who's boss. Tornado doesn't seem to have any way of getting underneath Firestorm and is just being dominated so far. Tornado flipped over but he's got a self-righting mechanism and he uses it. Firestorm brings Tornado to Sir Killalot but Andrew Marchant's good driving lets Tornado escape but it's not enough for Firestorm as he flips Tornado again, then activates the Pit, which means someone's going down. Firestorm moving around the Pit, perhaps trying to lure Tornado in but he manages to get underneath Tornado and both robots fall in! We'll have to see what the judges say.

MF: Both robots were in the Pit so we'll have to wait for the judges decison to see who goes through. The judges result is in and they allow Firestorm IV to move on because Tornado fell in first. Things are just getting good in here tonight so let's see the final match up tonight.

SF: It's Dominator 2 up against Panic Attack.
SM: From  Huntington, Dominator 2
SF: Dominator 2 with that axe, weighs in at 220 pounds with a front wedge.

SM: From Whales, Panic Attack
SF: Panic Attack in at 216 pounds has side skirts and locked front weaponry.

SM: Roboteers.......standby........
SF: There's Panic Attack with Kim Davies at the controls. Dominator 2 with Paul Tolliday up in the box. The House Bots for this battle will be Dead Metal and his pincers. With him is Shunt.

SM: 3.......2.........1...........ACTIVATE!
SF: Dominator 2 having no problem whatsoever getting underneath Panic Attack but Panic Attack slips to the side. Dominator 2 flips Panic Attack but Panic Attack has a way to get back over with that self-righting mechanism. Uh-oh, Panic Attack is on his back end and in a bad spot, right where Shunt's CPZ is! Dominator 2 going after Shunt with his own axe and while that isn't a good idea, Dominator clearly has the advantage in pushin' power. Dominator activates the Pit and we all know who's going in. Shunt with the burial and nearly falls in himself!

SM: CEASE!
MF: That's it for this edition of Robot Wars. Join us next time when more robots duke it out for glory. Until then, fight on!
Episode 3:

MF: We're chock full of robots ready to tear their competition apart and we're ready to have carnage so let's get our pairings.

SF: Here we go, Mick with Pussycat against X-Terminator 2, Spin2Win up against Gemini but first Lifter against Razor.

SM: From the United States, Lifter

SF: It's Lifter in at 210 pounds and it's got a liftin' arm and some side skirts. Should be tough to beat.

SM: From  Bournemouth, Razor

SF: The awesome Razor in at 207 pounds has a powerful crushing arm that should do some major damage and a srimech with those wings.

SM: Roboteers........standby........

SF: There's Razor with Ian Lewis up in the booth. There's Lifter with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls. Joinin' our first 2 competitors is the deadly pincers of Dead Metal and the out of control Matilda.

SM: 3..........2........1..........ACTIVATE!

SF: So here's the bout for round 1 as Lifter tosses Razor onto his side but Razor has those handy self-rightin' wings to get himself back over. Razor's trying to get underneath but it's Lifter that's having no problem getting underneath and flips Razor again! Wow, Razor not having any sort of luck today and is now up on the arena side wall as Lifter's tryin' to throw him out but luckily for Razor, he ends up knocking him free from the wall. Oh no, Razor's on top of there again and Refbot havin' a look and now Razor's free again, courtesy  of Refbot. Lifter putting Razor on top of the wall once more and Razor is out of there,

SM: CEASE!

MF: Lifter having no problem throwing Razor out of the competition. Let's see who's up next.

SF: Alright, Mick, it's Spin2Win up against Gemini.

SM: From East Sussex, Gemini

SF: Gemini, previously a cluster bot but has decided to literally stick together but still has those liftin' arms.

SM: From the United States, Spin2Win

SF: A wedge robot that can run either way but it could be in trouble if those wheels are damaged.

SM: Roboteers......standby.......

SF: There's Spin2Win with Dave Rose in the booth. Gemini with Shane Howard at the controls. In those CPZs will be Sgt Bash with his flame thrower and the deadly arms of Sir Killalot.

SM: 3...........2............1..............ACTIVATE!

SF: Here we go for the start of round 2 with Spin2Win underneath Gemini and pushin' them around. Wow, guess 2 really isn't better than one in this bout. Gemini, tryin' to use one of their two flippin' arms but  they don't appear to have the strength as Spin2Win pushes Gemini into Killalot's CPZ but Killalot is havin' some trouble getting out of there and when he does, he goes after Spin2Win! Gemini is just sneaking out the back door but Spin2Win is now up against the rails but with Gemini's flippers, I don't see Spin2Win on his way out and Spin2Win puts Gemini on his side! Refbot having a check and the ten second countdown is right behind them. It's all over, right before the buzzer with Spin2Win moving through.

SM: CEASE!

MF: Spin2Win didn't do any spinnin' but did a whole lot of winnin' and moves through. Now it's time for our last match-up.

SF: You got it, Mick with Pussycat against X-Terminator.

SM: From Gloucester, Pussycat

SF: The cat robot that always lands with some form of mobility and a lethal blade to boot.

SM: From Belmont, X-Terminator 2

SF: X-Terminator with a  flippin' arm and front scoop.

SM: Roboteers.......standby.........

SF: Pussycat with Alan Gribble at the controls. There's X-Terminator with Marlon Prichard up in the booth. Lurking in those Corner Patrol Zones will be the immense pushin' power of Shunt and  the mistress of mayhem, Matilda.

SM: 3.........2..........1.............ACTIVATE!

SF: This is our final battle tonight and X-Terminator is pushing Pussycat around. Pussycat has some pretty high ground clearance for X-Terminator to reach. X-Terminator flipping Pussycat but Pussycat has a srimech since this is a different model of the robot. X-Terminator with another flip and then takes Pussycat to Shunt but Shunt pushes Pussycat out of the arena. Bet he didn't mean to do that but X-Terminator nearly going in with Shunt himself but puts Pussycat there again and Shunt is going to do some damage and pushes Pussycat right out of the arena!

SM: CEASE!

MF: X-Terminator living up to his name to kick Pussycat out of the competition. Join us next time when another 6 robots fight it out as the competition continues. Until then, fight on!

Episode 2:

MF: This is Robot Wars and we've got another 6 robots hungry for annihilation. Let's go to the board and see who we have lined up.

SF: You got it, Mick. Tonight's matches pit Cannible against S.A.W. II, Anto 2 against Your Worst Knightmare but first up Wheelchair Bot V Carnage N Destruction.

SM: From the United States, Wheelchair Bot

SF: Wheelchair Bot in at 145 pounds has a front wedge and can run either way up.

SM: From the United States, Carnage N Destruction

SF: The strange lookin' Carnage N Destruction. It's got a spinnin' blade and a wedge at the front, runs upside down but it's pretty high off the ground.

SM: Roboteers.....standby.......

SF: There's Wheelchair Bot with Christian Carlberg at the controls And Carnage N Destruction with Robert Marzinskie in the booth. The House Bots for this bout will be Dead Metal and his pincers. Joinin' him will be the sometimes out of control Matilda.

SM: 3.........2........1..........ACTIVATE!

SF: So here we go for the first bout and Wheelchair Bot gets underneath Carnage N Destruction, who doesn't appear to have any mobility at the moment. Wheelchair Bot just kinda pushing his opponent around and somehow CND has some movement! Their design doesn't appear to be doing to well here as Wheelchair Bot is underneath the front of CND and throws him right out of the arena!

SM: CEASE!

MF: Carnage and Destruction faced self-destruction right out of the tournament. Let's see our next pairing.

SF: Alright, Mick, it's Anto 2 vs Your Worst Knightmare

SM: From the United States, Anto 2

SF: Anto 2 in at 122 pounds has a really small body and looks to be a rammin' bot but we'll have to see.

SM: From the United States, Your Worst Knightmare

SF: Your Worst Knightmare's got some mean-lookin' blades at the front, can run upside down. Looks like it might be the one to watch here.

SM: Roboteers...........standby..........

SF: Anto 2 with Craig up there in the booth. There's Your Worst Knightmare with Jim Smentowski  in the box. Here's the House bots for this round: The deadly Sir Killalot and the immense pushin' power of Shunt.

SM: 3.........2...........1...........ACTIVATE!

SF: Anto 2 straight underneath Your Worst Knightmare and might actually put him out of the arena but Your Worst Knightmare gets a break and a getaway. YWK has to constantly adjust his weapon support as it's pretty low and useless if it's at the wrong height but it doesn't seem to be too effective at all as Anto 2 is just pushing him all over the arena and oh no, Your Worst Knightmare has backed up  with his wheels hangin' over the rails and is pushed out!

SM: CEASE!

MF: Your Worst Knightmare had his nightmare of defeat come true as Anto 2 kicks him out of the competition. Let's go to the battle board and see who's next.

SF: Here it is, Mick: Cannible and S.A.W. II

SM: From the United States, Cannible

SF: Cannible in at 115 pounds has a front wedge and rear spike and can also run either way.

SM: From the United States, S.A.W. II

SF: It's got a vicious blade at the front and has a srimech but those wheels are out in the open.

SM: Roboteers........standby........

SF: Cannible with  Ilya Polyakov at the controls. S.A.W. II with Korey Kline up in the booth. With our competitors are the House Robots and they are Sgt Bash with his flamethrower. Joinin' Bash is his buddy Shunt.

SM: 3.........2..........1............ACTIVATE!

SF: Both robots look pretty even to me thus far as neither one seeming to get underneath at all. Wait a minute, somehow S.A.W. II has Cannible up on one wheel and has parked him on top of the arena wall, just over the border of Shunt's CPZ! This would be a shame to have Cannible go out as he looked like the more formidable of the two robots. Here comes Refbot to have a look and Cannible is just spinnin his wheels while S.A.W. II can't seem to get Cannible out of the arena. The House Robots know what time it is now and they activate the Pit. Shunt puts Cannible in the hole.

SM: CEASE!

MF: That's it for this week on Robot Wars. Join us next time when more robots fight for the quest in robotic glory. Until then, fight on!

Episode 1:

MF: Welcome to Robot Wars and tonight, 6 robots are looking hungry for a plate of annihilation so let's go to the battle board to see tonight's line-up.

SF: Alright, Mick, we're going to see Bender vs Suicidal Tendencies, Punjar up against Plunderbird 5 but first up Chaos 2 against Blendo.

SM: From Ipswich, Chaos 2.

SF: Here's the champ from last season Chaos 2 in at 175 lbs has a powerful flipper but if the CO2 runs out, it's history.

SM: From the United States, Blendo

SF: A spinbot in at 210 pounds, Blendo has some mean lookin' teeth to boot.

SM: Roboteers........standby.......

SF: There's Chaos 2 with George Francis at the controls. Blendo with Jamie Hyneman at the controls. The House bots join' us for this bout will be Shunt and with him, Dead Metal

SM: 3.........2.........1...........ACTIVATE!

SF: So here we go for the first round as Blendo gets underneath Chaos 2 and brings him to the rails but can't seem to finish him off there. Chaos 2, really too high off the ground to really get underneath the shell of Blendo. Blendo is underneath him again and brings him to the other wall. Wow, Chaos 2 really has his hands or wheels full in this one. Both bots have slammed into the Pit trigger and that means the Pit is goin' down along with one of these two competitors. Uh-oh, Blendo's underneath Chaos again and he might just go into the hole but what a break for Chaos 2 as he just manages to escape a burial. Chaos isn't having his way at all and oh no, Blendo's in the Pit! What a shame for them as they were in complete control there.

SM: CEASE!

MF: Well Chaos 2 almost suffered Chaos himself but manages to get Blendo to the Pit of Doom. Let's see who we have next.

SF: Alright, Mick next up is Punjar against Plunderbird 5.

SM: From the United States, Punjar.

SF: Punjar in at 210 lbs has a scoop at the front to do some major pushin' power.

SM: From Hampshire, Plunderbird 5

SF: Here's Plunderbird 5 in at 218 lbs has a crushing beak and a front wedge.

SM: Roboteers........standby........

SF: There's Punjar with Ramiro Mallari at the controls. Plunderbird 5 with Mike Onslow at the controls. Joinin' them will be Sir Killalot and the matriarch of mayhem, Matilda.

SM: 3..........2.........1.............ACTIVATE!

SF: Punjar immediately gets underneath Plunderbird 5 and slams him into the rails. There's some major shovin' power with that scoop. P5 is trying to find a way underneath but no way that's gonna happen with Punjar's low center of gravity and front scoop and he is flipped over.  P5 has a self-righting mechanism and he'd better use it if he knows what's good for him and he does. Punjar underneath P5 again and bringing him to a CPZ or Corner Patrol Zone but luckily for P5 there's no one at home but Punjar and unfortunately, P5 is up against the rails as Refbot comes to scope the situation. Looks like there was a bit of the self-righting mechanism of P5 on the arena wall that allowed him to self-right but Punjar flips him back over and it looks to be all over for the P5 boys. Refbot begins the countdown and it's all over for P5. The House Bots are going to make P5 feel defeat as they open the Pit and get P5 set up for a little air time on the Flipper. Ho-ho, I guess Plunderbirds don't fly too well. Punjar has the final shove into the Pit.

SM: CEASE!

MF: Plunderbird couldn't fly his way to victory and gets sent to the Pit while Punjar presses on to a later bout. Now it's time to see who battles next.

SF: Alright, Mick it's the last bout tonight between Bender and Suicidal Tendencies

SM: From the United States, Bender

SF: Here's Bender in at 210 lbs with a big spinnin' blade on top. We'll have to wait to see what that can do.

SM: From Derby, Suicidal Tendencies

SF: Suicidal Tendencies in at 210 pounds has a front scoop and crushing claw.

SM: Roboteers.........standby..........

SF: There's Suicidal Tendencies with Charles Binns at the controls. Bender with Eric Stoliker at the controls. The House Robots for this 3rd round will be Sgt Bash and his flame thrower. Joinin' Bash will be Shunt.

SM: 3.........2..........1............ACTIVATE!

SF: Both robots look pretty evenly matched from up here as neither one seems to have a good shot at getting underneath but wait a minute, Suicidal Tendencies is underneath Bender and flips him over! Bender has a self-righting mechanism on his head and he literally uses his head to get back on to his wheels. Seems pretty even in the arena again but Suicidal Tendencies has flipped Bender once more but Bender is back over real quick. Now Bender is up on his back end! There's no way down from there I'm afraid. Here comes Refbot to have a look and Bender is just motionless out there. The 10-second countdown has ended and here come the House Bots. Suicidal Tendencies is tryin' to help them out by opening the Pit and Bash pushes Bender ever closer to the Pit but nearly falls in himself. Shunt now has a go and also nearly falls in but finally, Bender is in the hole.

SM: CEASE!

MF: No suicide for Suicidal Tendencies and Bender wasn't bent but got tossed all over the arena and into the Pit. Join us next time as six more robots battle it out for a place in the semi-finals. Until next time, this is Mick Foley saying "Fight On".

Chaos 2 on the attack on Lifter and Dead Metal is waiting for them! Ooh both Roboteers escape. Chaos 2 turned turtle and in great peril by Lifter! Chaos 2 needs to get back over as his title is at stake here. Chaos 2 righted and under Lifter once more! Lifter now in peril here as he is pinned in between the arena floor and arena side wall. STUART: From the United States, Lifter

PEARCE: A lifting arm and wedge skirts, very formidable.

STUART: From the United States, Mauler

PEARCE: A spinner robot, will it be a spin to win or lose?

STUART: Roboteers......standby......

PEARCE: Lifter with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls and Mauler with Morgan Tilford at the controls. For House Robots, we have Sgt Bash and his flame thrower with jaws duet. Dead Metal and his duet of pincers and saw.

STUART: 3........2.........1...........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Lifter on the attack with Mauler and unable to use that magnificent lifting arm to flip Mauler. Mauler spinning away and, er, nibbling at Lifter. Lifter with a miss again. Mauler underneath Lifter? A surprise all around here but is Mauler now stuck in the gap between the arena floor and the bar for the arena side wall? Only for a minute, yes. Lifter bringing him back under there! Mauler out of the arena!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well Lifter didn't need to lift to push Mauler out of the arena. Lifter shoves through! *crowd cheers* Now it's Dominator 2 against Plunderbird 5.

STUART: From Huntington, Dominator 2

PEARCE: The fearsome axe and wedge scoop.

STUART: From Hampshire, Plunderbird 5

PEARCE: Here come the grizzly Plunderbird boys. A crusher at the front and a rear wedge. I'm hoping for a better performance from this robot to be honest.

STUART: Roboteers........standby........

PEARCE: Plunderbird 5 with Mike Onslow at the controls and Dominator 2 with with Bruce Benson at the controls. In the arena for House Robots.....oooh Sir Killalot and his red eyes. Our mistress of mayhem Matilda.

PEARCE: Dominator 2 attacking Plunderbird 5 and moving him to Matilda but Plunderbird slips out of it. Plunderbird 5 now in underneath the ground clearance of Dominator 2 but Dominator 2 slips away. What a battle this is. Plunderbird 5 again slipping underneath Dominator and nearly brings him to Sir Killalot! Dominator toppled by Plunderbird but can self-right yet Plunderbird doesn't want that and is trying to prevent that. Dominator back over and we have a brief stand-still but it's Plunderbird that gets underneath and Dominator is getting attacked by Matilda! Dominator struggling, straining, lifting, trying to get back over but his axe appears to be stuck now. Plunderbird wisely away and has triggered the Pit but is he now stuck? Worthy winners they are, Plunderbird and free they are now. Dominator (laughing) is put out of the arena by Matilda. I'm not too sure that was the way they wanted Dominator to go.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Dominator not dominant over Plunderbird. Plunderbird glides through! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: The Plunderbird boys advance and they'll have a chance at Chaos 2 our champion if both those boys and Chaos 2 can get past their opponents. Speaking of opponents, we have 2 left for tonight so let's watch what happens.

BULL toppled over and I'm not sure he can right from that position. Spin2Win certainly not letting him as BULL is now on his scoop, splendid stuff here. Spin2Win knocks BULL back over! I think they got a little cocky there. They thought they had the win in the bag but now you will pay the price, Spin2Win. Or will they? Has BULL been immobilized? Refbot coming to check. Spin2Win flipping themselves but they can run upside down. Refbot sees immobilization here. Spin2Win with the final shove and BULL out.

STUART: CEASE!

Chaos 2, now in underneath ST and back into Dead Metal's CPZ where ST is in trouble from Dead Metal! ST now on his side! Chaos 2, wisely staying out of the way and Refbot has a check. ST motionless, Chaos 2, winners!

What power is in that spinning weapon of Mauler II! Oh dear, both robots flipped over and is Spin2Win stuck on the arena wall? No, it's okay and Mauler II is back over as well. Grappler, enduring some of the worst punishment from Mauler here. Grappler on his side and Mauler moving him to Matilda. Matilda with her chainsaw.....has flipped herself over! Oh dear her own weapon causing her downfall in this battle. Refbot having a look. Grappler, only just moving but out. Shunt, now moving Grappler to the Drop Zone, a new feature for this wars. (Laughing) Grappler gets a nick.

PEARCE: We'll find out shortly, Craig with our final battle of the night.

STUART: From the United States, Mauler

PEARCE: Little to be said here. Just a smaller version of his twin.

STUART: From the United States, Angler

PEARCE: Really, little to say here as well. His lifer has been locked to be used as a sort of ram and his wedge skirts pretty well touch the floor.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby......

PEARCE: Angler with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls. Mauler with Morgan Tilford at the controls. In the arena for House Robots is  Sir Killalot and Dead Metal

STUART: 3........2.......1........ACTIVATE!

Angler out of it, Mauler able to self-right but stuck under the arena side wall. It'll just take a moment to right them and there we go. Both robots flipped again?! What's happening down there? Mauler's back over but Angler can't get out of it due to locking his weapon in place. Refbot sees a dead robot, Mauler activating the Pit. Killalot with the final push into the Pit.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Both robots immobilized, righted, then re-immobilized, Mauler escaped and moves on! *crowd cheers* Factories work to make metal ores, we make destruction, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

Episode 8:

PEARCE: Starlight, star bright, what carnage will we see tonight? Well then let's get to our first battle.

STUART: From Cambridgeshire, Dominator 2

PEARCE: An axe on top and a very steep wedge. Quick and maneuverable too.

STUART: From the United States, Swinging Knife

PEARCE: Two-wheeled, rather large wheels actually. It's knife looks menacing, it's wedge looks hard to get in underneath and it's design looks nearly unbeatable.

STUART: Roboteers.......standby......

PEARCE: Dominator 2 with Dominator 2 with Bruce Benson at the controls. Swinging Knife with Christian Carlberg at the controls.  Who will be in the CPZs tonight? It'll be Matilda with her duet of destructive weaponry and Sir Killalot with his duet of deadly arms.

STUART: 3.........2........1..........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Swinging Knife in underneath Dominator 2 and pushes him into the wall. Both robots away and oh look at this! Dominator 2 has hit a critical area on Swinging Knife. The axe of Dominator 2 has landed in between the wheel and the body frame and it looks to be stuck on there. Dominator 2, it looks like, is trying to get Swinging Knife out but has him instead standing on end and now on his side! Oh dear, you'd better get yourself back over, Swinging Knife as here comes Refbot, who will count you out. This looked so promising for Swinging Knife but wait a minute, Swinging Knife is back over! He used the blade to swing back and forth to hit the wall and fall over, brilliant tactics, Christian Carlberg. Dominator 2 has once again buried his axe in a weak spot for Swinging Knife, who must be immobile now and this time, Dominator 2 says goodbye and dumps him out.  Brilliant stuff in this battle.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Domination by Dominator 2. They move on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: Now, round 2, um let's see what the next two robots can offer us.

STUART: From East Sussex, Gemini

PEARCE: Either way this robot is attacked, there is a flipper that awaits you and perhaps even defeat!

STUART: From the United States, BULLdozer

PEARCE: When push comes to shove, there is no bull from this robot.

STUART: Roboteers........standby.......

PEARCE: Gemini with Shane Howard at the controls. BULLdozer with Jerome Miles at the controls. In the arena to join our competitors is Shunt and Dead Metal.

STUART: 3.........2.........1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: BULLdozer in underneath Gemini and into the wall they go. Gemini is free but its flipper seems to be stuck upwards. BULLdozer flipping Gemini on the jammed flipper! That's it for Gemini if they can't get that flipper working. Refbot is having a look and thinks that Gemini is out. Gemini out, BULLdozer through. Shunt and Dead Metal know it's time to play with their prey. Shunt pushing Gemini around, Dead Metal activating the Pit. Shunt positions Gemini on the flipper and Gemini is on his side now. The House Robots give their funeral by burying the disabled Gemini into the Pit of Oblivion.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Two heads weren't better than one in this battle, BULLdozer shoves Gemini out of the way and moves on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: Here we go for round 3. I await to see what excitement we have in this battle.

STUART: From the United States, Your  Worst Knightmare

PEARCE: Runs either way up, has a lethal disc at the front.

STUART: From Hampshire, Plunderbird 5

PEARCE: Its robot is as nasty as the rhymes the Plunderbird boys use.

STUART: Roboteers.........standby.........

PEARCE: Plunderbird 5 with Mike Onslow at the controls. Your Worst Knightmare with Jim Smentowski at the controls. For House Robots, there's Sir Killalot and for the only time tonight, Sgt Bash.

STUART: 3.........2.........1...........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Plunderbird 5 on the attack on Your Worst Knightmare, who has a very high ground clearance so I think he'll be at a disadvantage against the Plunderbird boys. P5 taking YWK to Sir Killalot but Sir Killalot missed the opportunity there, not like Sir Killalot at all. YWK now a roof ornament on P5 and with good tactics, is free. P5 on the attack once more and YWK out of the arena.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Plunderbird 5 picked on Your Worst Knightmare and dropped him out of the arena to go zooming on! *crowd cheers* Robots can put holes into your floors, they can dish it out, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

Episode 7:

PEARCE: Tonight begins our quarter-final rounds. Winners move on, losers go home. Let's find out who thrives and who dies.

STUART: From Ipswich, Chaos 2

PEARCE: Our star-flipper that has a tendency to flip opposition out of the arena.

STUART: From Langport, Wheely Big Cheese

PEARCE: A large flipper with equally large wheels. Will its performance be large too?

STUART: Roboteers......standby.....

PEARCE: Chaos 2 with George Francis at the controls. Wheely Big Cheese with Roger Plant at the controls. In the arena for House Robots is Shunt with his axe and scoop.  Sgt Bash and his arsenal of flamethrower and jaws.

STUART: 3........2........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Chaos 2 in underneath Wheely Big Cheese. Wheely Big Cheese able to slip away. Chaos 2 again in underneath Wheely Big Cheese and very nearly could've gotten him out of the arena. Wheely Big Cheese underneath Chaos 2 but Chaos 2 away. This is an exciting battle isn't it? Wheely Big Cheese under Chaos 2 once again and into Shunt's CPZ! Ooh, Chaos 2 very nearly in Shunt's grasp. Chaos 2 flipped up and over, then back again. Wheely Big Cheese on the attack and pushing Chaos 2 with Shunt, who seems to have been toppled and immobilized. Is Chaos 2 immobilized? They can't seem to get their flipper going, you can see it's up against the support for our Arena Dropzone. Chaos 2 underneath Wheely Big Cheese again and make a run for the wall but the judges will have to decide!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: You both know the criteria: Style, Control, Damage and Aggression. The judges have made their decision........................they've gone for CHAOS 2! *crowd cheers* Dear me, what a close battle. Let's continue with round 2.

STUART: From the United States, Spin2Win

PEARCE: A two-wheeled robot with a front wedge and rear spikes. It can run either way but exposed tires are its weakness.

STUART: From Panduit in Swansea, Mega Morg

PEARCE: A front lifter for weapon and its srimech is its own body believe it or not. As it is flipped over, the barrel-like design helps it back over.

STUART: Roboteers......standby.....

PEARCE: Spin2Win with David Rose at the controls. Mega Morg with Dorian Caudy at the controls. For House Robots, there's Matilda with her tusks and chainsaw. Of course, there's Dead Metal with his jaws and saw.

STUART: 3.........2........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Spin2Win on the attack on Mega Morg and over to the arena side wall they go. Mega Morg is up against the wall, and I think that because he wasn't rolled over, he can't do anything and is therefore immobilized. Spin2Win, I think, is trying to get his opponent out but isn't doing so well, nearly getting stuck on top of MM. A little bit more, Spin2Win. MM is on the edge.....and out!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: What a battle, Spin2Win needed no spinning to win the quick battle and go marching on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: Now we begin round 3.

STUART: From the United States, Wheelchair Bot

PEARCE: A very low wedge but high ground clearance and exposed wheels.

STUART: From Derby, Suicidal Tendencies

PEARCE: Certainly hoping its attempts at victory aren't suicidal. Tank tread design, a crushing beak, and a srimech.

STUART: Roboteers......standby.....

PEARCE: Wheelchair Bot with Trevor Andrew at the controls. Suicidal Tendencies with Charles Binns at the controls. In the arena for House Robots is the blinking eyes of Sir Killalot and for the second time tonight, Sgt Bash.

STUART: 3.......2........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: This battle is going to be tough for both robots as we can see that neither has a low enough front wedge to get under his opponent. Suicidal Tendencies on the attack and pushes Wheelchair Bot around. Suicidal again on the attack and with a slam into our arena side wall. Wheelchair Bot, having trouble maneuvering it looks like and is flicked up and over by ST. Ooh, ST flipped over and back over once again. ST on the attack yet again and has WB stuck on the arena side wall! WB free? How did that come about? ST moves WB to the side wall and is trying, struggling, pushing... and unable to get WB out and won't do so now. Who wins this bout? It's up to the Judges.

CRAIG: The judges have made their decision.............they've gone for SUICIDAL TENDENCIES! *crowd cheers* Well, you find your needs in many stores, you find carnage, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

Episode 6:

PEARCE: We're down to 6 competitors, 3 of which will advance to the quarter-final rounds. So let's get the mayhem started!

STUART: From the United States, Grappler

PEARCE: Another robot in this series completely scaled down from it's much larger CAT machine.

STUART: From the United States, All-Weather Tire Bot

PEARCE: A tire for armor and body but no srimech.

STUART: Roboteers....standby.....

PEARCE: All-Weather Tire Bot with Travis Wood at the controls. Grappler with Alec Aizner at the controls. Lurking in the CPZs will be Matilda and her chainsaw, and Sgt Bash with his flamethrower.

STUART: 3.......2........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: What an interesting pairing these two are. Neither have a wedge or flipper or any big sort of weaponry really. Ooh, Grappler in underneath All-Weather Tire Bot. Where is he taking AWTB I wonder? Out of the arena and goodness me, Grappler's immobilized, none of his wheels are touching the ground and his weapon can't reach far enough. Just need a minute or two to get the bots back in the arena there. If only one was knocked out, the one still mobile would've won. Okay, the battle is underway again. Grappler, lifting, raising, maneuvering AWTB to the wall again and is positioning AWTB. They've done it, AWTB out and Grappler still mobile!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: All-Weather Tire Bot was all short of victory and Grappler holds on to victory! *crowd cheers* Let the semi-final continue!

STUART: From Cambridgeshire, Dominator 2

PEARCE: A rather quick axe and wedge. Wonder how well it'll fair?

STUART: From the United States, RA

PEARCE: Will it be a last hurrah for this robot or will it get the hurrah of victory?

STUART: Roboteers......standby.....

PEARCE: RA with Solomon Spector at the controls. Dominator 2 with Bruce Benson at the controls. Here to spread some gloom and doom in the arena is Sir Killalot and his accomplice Dead Metal.

STUART: 3........2.......1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Dominator 2 quick with his axe on RA. He's pushing and maneuvering RA to Sir Killalot's deadly arms. Killalot having his way with RA. RA with the escape. D2 on the attack once again, slamming RA into the arena side wall but can't get him out, and another slam, and another. When will it end? Ha-ha, RA on his side! Here comes Refbot to look but it's pretty obvious from up here that RA is immobilized. 8, 9, 10. RA out. Killalot and Dead Metal stalk their prey. I think this is the most fun they've had in quite a while with all the quick immobilizations we've had in this series of Robot Wars. The Pit now yawns for a victim, which today is RA. Down you go.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Dominator the clear winner in this battle and they move to the quarter-finals! *crowd cheers* Who will be our last quarter-finalist? Are you all ready? *crowd cheers again* Then let the battle for the last quarter-finalist begin!

STUART: From the United States, U Lose

PEARCE: I'm hoping that its name isn't going to be towards itself in the end.

STUART: From the United States, BULLdozer

PEARCE: The last remaining scaled down CAT vehicle in this series. It has a typical bulldozer blade and wheels on the bottom, tracks are painted on.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby....

PEARCE: U Lose with Phil Putman at the controls. BULLdozer For House Robots, we have Shunt with his axe and scoop. Alongside him is Sgt Bash.

STUART: 3......2......1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: The pressure is on for our last winner for the quarter-finals. U Lose on his side already and being slammed into Sgt Bash's CPZ and being attacked there! BULLdozer, struggling, pushing, nudging and finally U Lose out, ironically.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: U Lose ironically loses while BULLdozer moves to the quarter-finals! *crowd cheers* It's nerve-racking to see two teams with close scores, it's pure mayhem, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

Episode 5:

PEARCE: Tonight will be the start of our final rounds before the Semis and Championship battles. Winners move on, losers go to the scrap. Let the road to the Semi-Finals begin!

STUART: From the United States, Your Worst Knightmare

PEARCE: Exposed wheels and a four-toothed disk, can run either way.

STUART: From the United States, Alpha Raptor's Revenge

PEARCE: The remains of a past robot over there, so Chuck Pitzer says. No srimech on it but is heavily armored.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby......

PEARCE: Alpha Raptor's Revenge with Chuck Pitzer at the controls. Your Worst Knightmare with Jim Smentowski at the controls. For House Robots, we have Matilda with her chainsaw and tusks and Sgt Bash.

STUART: 3......2......1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: An early standoff in this battle. Crunching and crashing, neither one succeeding. Oh and Your Worst Knightmare is flipped over by Alpha Raptor's Revenge! Certainly not possible by just ARR, though. ARR on his top and this should now be over and we see YWK slamming ARR into the wall and using his disc to deal damage as Refbot has a look and quickly sees a dead bot. Sgt Bash and Matilda working together and I'm sure unintentionally having Bash activate the Pit. Matilda with the shove and Bash with the final push....into the pit with you, ARR.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: What a battle, still no revenge for Alpha Raptor's Revenge and Your Worst Knightmare dreams on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: Now let's take a look at our next battle.

STUART: From the UK, Wheelchair Bot

PEARCE: Wheelchair Bot with the wheelchair shape, of course and the invertible design.

STUART: From the United States, Quarter Pounder

PEARCE: The robot with the bot tenderizer if you like and it's also a srimech.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby.....

PEARCE: Quarter Pounder with Patrick Campbell at the controls and Wheelchair Bot with Trevor Andrew at the controls. In the arena is Shunt and Sir Killalot.

STUART: 3.......2......1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: A crash from both teams' robots. Quarter Pounder getting his weapon into play but only striking air at the moment. Ooh, Wheelchair Bot inverted, no problem for it, though. Oh, Wheelchair Bot in underneath QP and throws him out! Splendid stuff here!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, Quarter Pounder sent packing while Wheelchair Bot rolls on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: A quick battle and victory for Wheelchair Bot now who joins him?

STUART: From the United States, S.A.W. II

PEARCE: Back again with its new name, lethal cutting disc and high ground clearance.

STUART: From the United States, Carnage N Destruction

PEARCE: Known as D.E.A.T.H. in our last wars but is back with a belt for its weaponry.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby...

PEARCE: Carnage N Destruction with Jim Smentowski at the controls. S.A.W. II with Robert Marzinske at the controls. With us is Dead Metal and Sir Killalot.

STUART: 3........2.......1..........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: A slow start to this battle. Ooh, S.A.W. II in underneath Carnage N Destruction. Both robots away and  SAW on the attack, slamming CND into the wall and can he....yes, he got CND out!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: S.A.W. II created more carnage than Carnage and Destruction. They go cutting on! *crowd cheers* Well, it's  best to use salt on canker sores, it's best to watch the carnage, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

Episode 4:

PEARCE: Destroyed robot remains are scattered about as the quest for robot glory continues. Who will prevail tonight?

STUART: From the UK, Anto.

PEARCE: Our Volkswagen beetle shaped robot is back with his two-wheel drive, disk at the front and of course his tiny size.

STUART: From the United States, Angler

PEARCE: A low ground clearance accompanied by wedges on all sides and a lifting, err plow if you like.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby.......

PEARCE: Angler with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls. Anto with Craig, not yours truly of course, at the controls. Here to spread their own destruction in the arena are our House Robots,  Matilda with her front and rear weaponry. She is joined by Sir Killalot with his arms of destruction.

STUART: 3........2........1..........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Angler and Anto. Who is the superior bot? Angler on top, almost literally as Anto is toppled and pushed into Sir Killalot's CPZ! It's fair game in the CPZs, House Robots can attack if you enter there and (laughing) oh Anto thrown out by Killalot! Not sure he planned it that way though but Angler through.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well Anto tossed aside by Sir Killalot. Angler found all the angles to win and moves on! *crowd cheers* Are you all ready for more? *crowd cheers* Then let's continue with round 2.

STUART: From Belmont, X-Terminator

PEARCE: The flipping arm and srimech. Hopefully he won't be....x-terminated!

STUART: From Panduit in Swansea, Mega Morg

PEARCE: The barrel-like shape and the lifter at the front. Will it play dead or be dead?

STUART: Roboteers......standby.....

PEARCE: X-Terminator with Marlon Prichard at the controls. Mega Morg with Dorian Caudy at the controls. For House Robots, there's Shunt and with him, Sgt Bash.

STUART: 3........2.......1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Mega Morg with the flipping spikes if you like and X-Terminator on its side but it has a srimech on the sides there and is now back over. Mega Morg in underneath X-Terminator and is lifting, hoisting, pushing...and X-Terminator gets away. Mega Morg again underneath X-Terminator's somewhat high ground clearance at the flipping arm. Mega Morg with the lift again but once again X-Terminator away. Ooh, a 3rd attempt by Mega Morg! X-Terminator on its side against our arena side wall! Mega Morg pushing, struggling, shoving, and X-Terminator out!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well X-Terminator living up to the opposite of his name while Mega Morg rolls on! *crowd cheers* Let's complete tonight's trilogy of mayhem with round 3.

STUART: From the United States, Bender

PEARCE: A spinning disc with teeth on it but really not much else to speak of, not even a srimech.

STUART: From East Sussex, Gemini

PEARCE: The non-cluster bot for this warzone. It has dual flippers for weaponry.

STUART: Roboteers......standby.......

PEARCE: Gemini with Shane Howard at the controls. Bender with Erik Stolken at the controls. For House Robots, we have first-time-tonight Dead Metal and second-timer Matilda.

STUART: 3.........2........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Gemini with the lift on Bender and Bender's in the air, look at this! Bender back down and gets away, not a smart move by Gemini's team. Gemini on the attack again and Bender with Matilda, who puts Bender on his side. Ooh, Gemini in Matilda's CPZ and attacking Matilda! Bender back over?! Bender lives to fight another day but is once again flipped and moved back with Matilda. Gemini lifting and finally getting Bender out.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: What a battle, Gemini proved two flippers are better than one blade and throws Bender out. Gemini through! *crowd cheers* When it rains, it pours, when robots enter, it's mayhem, on Robot Wars. Bye-Bye!

Episode 3:

PEARCE: There is bloodshed of dead robots on the arena floor. Only a few have survived thus far. Who will join them? Let's find out with round 1.

STUART: From the UK, Anto 2.

PEARCE: A similar design to it's smaller self. Two wheel drive and the same round shape.

STUART: From Middleton Chamber, Spin2Win

PEARCE: Another two-wheeled wedge bot with rear spikes. It runs either way but it's wheels aren't protected.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby......

PEARCE: Anto 2 with Craig at the controls. Spin2Win with Dave Rose at the controls. For House Robots, there's Sgt Bash with his flame thrower and jaws. Shunt is in there too.

STUART: 3........2........1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Spin2Win immediately in underneath Anto 2 and into the side wall they go. Could they get Anto 2 out already? No, not quite. Ooh, Spin2Win underneath again and can we succeed this time? Anto.....teetering and (laughs) on top of Spin2Win. Spin2Win, is he stuck on the arena side wall? Looks like is just able to get traction to escape. Spin2Win backing up and oh, Anto 2 out!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: This must be out quickest Robot Wars match thus far! Anto tossed aside by Spin2Win. Spin2Win spins on! *crowd cheers* Who will join him?

STUART: From Derby in England, Suicidal Tendencies

PEARCE: Let's just hope their attempt at winning isn't suicidal. Tracks for movement and the front scoop and the crushing beak.

STUART: From the United States, Forklift

PEARCE: A front wedge and a....forklift at the rear I think. Is invertible but has exposed tires.

STUART: Roboteers.......standby.......

PEARCE: Suicidal Tendencies with Charles Binns at the controls. Forklift with Gauge Cauchois at the controls. For House Robots, we have Dead Metal and Sir Killalot.

STUART: 3.......2.........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Both robots a little tentative in this one. Oh, Suicidal Tendencies in underneath Forklift and has him now! Ooh, a slam into the wall by ST. Poor Forklift, unable to do really anything right now. Forklift might be able to get away now but wait a minute, ST got him at a new angle and Forklift's out while ST is on his back but he uses his srimech! Dear me, a record already broken!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Another turn-up for the books, an even quicker victory has occurred as Suicidal Tendencies moves on! *crowd cheers* Will Round 3 go by this quickly? Let's find out!

STUART: From the United States, Lifter

PEARCE: Four wedges and an actuated lifting arm. Flip it over, though, and it's out.

STUART: From the United States, Cannible

PEARCE: Looks like a cannon with wheels, it's not invertible but can self-right.

STUART: Roboteers......standby.......

PEARCE: Lifter with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls. And of course, Cannible with Scott LaValley at the controls. With us for this battle will be Sir Killalot. Joining him is Matilda.

STUART: 3.......2.......1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Lifter in underneath Cannible but cannot complete the toss. Cannible away and ooh, Lifter with the flip. Cannible apparently can run upside down! It matters not as we see Lifter flip him once again. Cannible up against the wall....Lifter with another flip and Cannible's stuck I think. No, it's back off but Lifter throws him out! What an incredible battle!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, Lifter gives Cannible a lift out of the competition and continues on! *crowd cheers* Watch your step around cords. Watch the carnage, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

Episode 2:

PEARCE: The battle for glory continues! Another 3 robots emerge but only one can move on!

CRAIG: We've already had 3 winners so far but the warzone is only lightly coated with robot shards. Are you all ready for more mayhem? *crowd cheers* Then it's time for our first battle.

STUART: From Middleton Chamber: Hypno Disc

PEARCE: The deadly creation from the Rose boys. Its destructive disc is certainly a force to be reckoned with.

STUART: From the United States: Swinging Knife

PEARCE: A wedge design with an overhead chopping, err knife but its wheels are exposed.

STUART: Roboteers......standby....

PEARCE: Swinging Knife with Christian Carlberg at the controls. The deadly Hypno Disc with Dave Rose at the controls. Then, our mayhem cannot be complete without our House Robots and for the first battle, it'll be Sgt Bash with the jaws and flamethrower. With him is our mistress of mayhem, Matilda.

STUART: 3.......2.......1.......ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: The battle is now underway. Swinging Knife in underneath Hypno Disc, whose ground clearance is much higher than SK's, and flips him over but HD has a srimech and uses it. SK with the wedge design, which is working splendidly if I might add, again pushing HD into a CPZ but no one's home, lucky break for HD. Not for long, says SK as he flips HD over once again. HD, using the srimech is back over but is he now immobilized on our arena wall? Can't tell from here but he's not moving. Refbot seems to think so and is counting HD out. It's over, SK have won it! Bash opens the Pit. Matilda with the rather stylish shove into the Pit.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, Hypno Disc out and Swinging Knife goes through! *crowd cheers* Round 2 shall now begin!

STUART: From the United States, Mauler II

PEARCE: A deadly spinner but will it maul or be mauled?

STUART: From Ash in Hampshire, Wild Thing

PEARCE: A wedge and a spinning disc, can self-right but exposed tires could be a problem.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby.....

PEARCE: Wild Thing with Nick Adams at the controls. Mauler II with Morgan Tilford at the controls. Our House Robots will be Shunt and his duet of axe and scoop. Here with him is Dead Metal and his duet of pincers and saw.

STUART: 3......2......1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Both robots bumping and barging, neither side succeeding. Ho-ho, Mauler II flips Wild Thing! What a surprise! Wild Thing back on his feet and we're back to the, err bumper cars match. Mauler II again flips Wild Thing! How on Earth is he doing this? Wild Thing over once again and oh what a hit, both robots sent flying! Both remain upright, though. Wild Thing underneath Mauler II! Well at least he has a somewhat wedge shape and could he get Mauler II on his side? No. Back to the hits of no avail. The judges are going to have to decide and oh, another fantastic hit and Mauler II's on his back!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: The judges have made their decision....it's for MAULER II! It's time for more mayhem with round 3!

STUART: From Durham, Firestorm IV

PEARCE: A wedge/flipper combo but will it be enough?

STUART: From Langport in Somerset, Wheely Big Cheese

PEARCE: A flipper and large wheels. It has a srimech for this version.

STUART: Roboteers......standby.....

PEARCE: Wheely Big Cheese with Roger Plant at the controls. And Firestorm IV with Graham Bone at the controls. Joining our robots tonight are Sir Killalot with his deadly arms and blinking eyes. With him, is Dead Metal.

STUART: 3.....2......1.......ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Wheely Big Cheese in underneath Firestorm IV, almost able to flip him. Doesn't seem like his wedge is low enough, Firestorm IV, he just can't get underneath.  Both robots with Dead Metal in his CPZ! Dead Metal attacking Firestorm and WBC attacking Dead Metal! Both away now. (Laughing) Refbot assists Wheely Big Cheese in flipping Firestorm over. Firestorm IV not able to do anything as we see WBC in underneath Firestorm IV and oh, FIRESTORM OUT OF OUR ARENA! What a splendid performance by Wheely Big Cheese!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Firestorm not hot enough to take out Wheely Big Cheese and burns out. Wheely Big Cheese goes rolling on! *crowd cheers* It's not pleasant when someone snores. It's truly awesome, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

Episode 1:

PEARCE: Tonight, it's carnage in the warzone as we feature competitors new and old in a battle for glory!

CRAIG: Well, a new day dawns and new faces emerge. Are you all ready for some mechanical mayhem? *the audience cheers* Then let the wars begin! Let's kick it off with round 1.

STUART: From Ipswich, Chaos 2

PEARCE: Our champion for 3 wars now. Its powerful flipper shall toss all opposition out of the arena.

STUART: From Huntington, Tornado

PEARCE: That lethal disk has done major damage in the past but this version is not invertible, it has a srimech instead.

STUART: Roboteers......standby.....

PEARCE: Our reigning champ, Chaos 2 with George Francis at the controls. Tornado with Andrew at the controls. In the CPZs, the Corner Patrol Zones, we have Sgt Bash with his jaws and flame thrower, and Matilda with her tusks and chainsaw.

STUART: 3.......2.........1............ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Chaos 2 straight away on the attack, pushing Tornado around but Tornado is able to get away. Both robots, uh, bumping and barging. Chaos 2 with the flipper underneath Tornado but once again Tornado away. Well Tornado so far has the quickness of a tornado that's for sure. Oh, goodness me, Tornado dancing with Matilda! Stupendous driving by George Francis! Tornado out of Matilda's clutches! Chaos 2 with the flip on Tornado, Tornado with the srimech and back over. Chaos 2 with the flipper again and is Tornado caught on our arena side wall? I think so! Refbot with a look. 8, 9. and 10. Tornado out, Chaos 2 through. Matilda has Tornado. Matilda opens the Pit and drops the lifeless Tornado down.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: What a battle this has been. Tornado reduced to a light breeze. Chaos 2 through! *crowd cheers* Let the mayhem continue!

STUART: From Bordmont, Razer

PEARCE: Our mechanized bird machine if you like. It's crushing beak has 9 tons of force and its wedge will put all opponents in its grasp.

STUART: From Closter, Pussycat

PEARCE: The cat of the warzone. It'll always land with at least two paws on the ground. In the arena is Shunt and his duo of scoop and axe. With him is Sir Killalot and his duo of arms and nasty look.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby......

PEARCE: Pussycat with Alan Gribble at the controls, and Razer with Ian Lewis at the controls.

STUART: 3.........2.........1..........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: So will Razer win the classic re-match? Certainly seems like so thus far. Razer with the flip on Pussycat, and again. Pussycat on the arena side wall! Oh, Pussycat escapes with its 9 lives! The clock is ticking down, with Razer and Pussycat in Killalot's CPZ! Who wins?

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, the judges have made their decision......they've gone for Pussycat!

PEARCE: Well, dear me, poor Razer just can't seem to defeat the cat with 9 lives.

CRAIG: Pussycat escapes by its lives and goes running on! *crowd cheers* Let Round 3 begin!

STUART: From Gwent, Panic Attack

PEARCE: It has wedge skirts on the sides and electric forks on the front, as well as a srimech on top.

STUART: From Hamshire, Plunderbird 5

PEARCE: A wedge at the front and rear, claw at the front.

STUART: Roboteers......standby.......

PEARCE: Panic Attack with Kim Pritchard at the controls, and Plunderbird 5 with Mike Onslow at the controls. For House Robots, we have Dead Metal with saw and pincers. Alongside him is Sir Killalot with the lance and pincers.

STUART: 3........2.........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Plunderbird 5 with the flip on Panic Attack. Panic Attack, struggling, stopping, sputtering and finally back over. Panic Attack again flipped but on his topside and self-rights. Oh dear me, both robots flipped! (Laughing) Panic Attack self-rights on Plunderbird, who self-rights and flips Panic Attack back over! Plunderbird with Dead Metal! Ooh, just able to get away, Plunderbird. Panic Attack in trouble here, as it seems to be on its back end! Srimech can't help there, I'm afraid. Panic Attack beaten. Killalot with the shove and where's he taking Panic Attack? Ooh to our Dropzone, a new feature in the warzone this series. What's going to come out of there? Plastic balls and Panic Attack on its head! Killalot moves Panic Attack to the flipper after activating the Pit. Didn't fly very far, though. Now for the burial. Panic Attack...oh and Killalot into the Pit!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Panic Attack panicked and lost and Plunderbird 5 flies on! *crowd cheers* It's not nice to slam doors, it's better to slam robots, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

--------------------------------------------------------------
Episode 10:

PEARCE: Tonight we decide who is indeed the Robot Wars Champion: Chaos 2 or Quarter Pounder. This battle shall be exciting. The best robots have come through and now only one will remain so let the final battle begin!

STUART: From The United States, Quarter Pounder

PEARCE: An m&m's shape, if you like with an axe on top, which acts as its srimech as well.

STUART: From Ipswich, Chaos 2

PEARCE: Is the king dead or can he rise from the dead? His powerful CO2 flipper has tossed all other opposition out of the arena or at least the tournament.

STUART: Roboteers......standby......

PEARCE: Chaos 2 with Ian Swann at the controls along with George Francis and Richard Swann. Quarter Pounder with George Hazard at the controls. Our House Robots will be Dead Metal with his saw and pincers as well as Shunt with his scoop and axe.

STUART: 3......2.......1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: A tough battle this should be. Both robots with a clash and Quarter Pounder's on his side! Don't think they can use their srimech here but they are trying to do so... and they do! Well done by George Hazard! Back to the battle we go and again QP is put on his side! Let's see if he can delight the crowd and myself with the srimech from the side! Chaos 2 certainly not helping out by pushing him around. Yes, indeed it has, QP! Big impact there, Quarter Pounder now in Shunt's CPZ, not a good place for someone wanting to be our tournament winner. Quarter Pounder escapes and is on the attack for Chaos 2. Oh goodness me, a double immobilization! Who's srimech will be successful, I wonder? Chaos struggling....struggling....and finally back over. Quarter Pounder....struggling, struggling... trying....failing. I think their srimech is out of reach of the arena wall! I think Chaos 2 have won! Eight....nine...ten! That's it, Chaos 2 are our champions of Robot Wars! Shunt and Dead Metal now attack the loser. Where is Shunt going with Quarter Pounder, going to activate the Pit, perhaps? Ooh, out of the arena through the side rail, not very much like Shunt, I think it was poor driving there. Nonetheless, Chaos 2 are the Robot Wars Champions!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, cats always land on all fours, we have a champion, on Robot Wars! Bye-bye!

Episode 9:

PEARCE: We're down to our last battles of the tournament. Anto battles Lifter, Chaos 2 against All-Weather Tire Bot and the winners of those battles then face off.

STUART: From the UK, Anto.

PEARCE: The tiny robot with probably the tiniest srimech I've ever seen.

STUART: From the United States, Lifter

PEARCE: Very low design with an even lower ground clearance! So far no one seems to be able to get underneath him!

STUART: Roboteers.....standby......

PEARCE: Lifter with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls. And Anto with Craig at the controls. For House Robots tonight, we have the shoving capability of Shunt and alongside him is the jaws and saw of Dead Metal.

STUART: 3.......2........1..........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Both competitors seeming to be a little tentative in this battle. Oh Anto flipped! What power in that lifting arm by Carlo Bertoccini! Anto looking, searching, wanting, not getting the spot underneath Lifter, who flips him away. Oh dear, I don't think Anto has any help on his robot that would allow him to get underneath Lifter. Lifter tossing Anto once again. Anto out of the arena! Great stuff by Carlo!

CRAIG: Lifter  squishes the ant and goes zooming on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: So one into the last semi-final battle. Who will join him? We're going to find out!

STUART: From the United States, All-Weather Tire Bot

PEARCE: I don't have a clue whether this bot will succeed but who knows? Chains on the side for weaponry and no srimech.

STUART: From Ipswich, Chaos 2.

PEARCE: So here's our current star for this battle. The immense CO2 flipper has tossed dozens out of the arena.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby.....

PEARCE: Chaos 2 with George Francis at the controls, Ian and Richard Swann with him. All-Weather Tire Bot with Travis Wood at the controls. In the arena, for House Robots, Sir Killalot with the blinking eyes and deadly arms. With him is Sgt Bash and his jaws and flame thrower.

STUART: 3.......2.......1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE:  A tight battle here. Chaos 2 bumping and barging into Tire Bot but can't get underneath the ground clearance of TB. Both robots struggling here. Neither one really has any "helpers" if you like to turn the battle their direction. That's a good attack by Chaos 2. Chaos 2 in Bash's CPZ! Get out of there, Chaos, if you know it's good for you! House Robots can attack if your robot enters their CPZ or Corner Patrol Zone. Goodness me, how did Chaos 2 end up on it's back? There's nothing on the front of TB that would create such a stunt, at least I didn't think so but somehow there is! Chaos 2 back over and into the arena side wall goes TB. Chaos 2 finally in and underneath TB. Ooh, nearly lost him there. Back into Sgt Bash's CPZ and(laughing) Sgt. Bash has been toppled! That's the end of him and is it the end of Tire Bot? He's on his side against the wall! Refbot having a look. Chaos 2 through! Killalot all alone to finish off Tire Bot, not sure he would mind it, though. He's trying to right poor Bash and could he....could he.....do it? Not quite. Killalot moving Tire Bot, activating the Pit but first, the tire must, uh, fly, so to speak. Now for the burial. Go on, Killalot, put TB in to Oblivion. There we go.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: What a fantastic battle, Chaos 2 creates too much of a storm for Tire Bot to handle. They go storming on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: So our last semi-final battle is Chaos 2 against Lifter

STUART: From Ipswich, Chaos 2

PEARCE: Will this former champion regain his title back? We'll see in this battle!

STUART: From the United States, Lifter

PEARCE: Our other supreme flipper. Who's moving on to our championship?

STUART: Roboteers.....standby.....

PEARCE: Former champ Chaos 2 with once again George Francis at the controls. Lifter with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls. For House Robots, we have Shunt with the axe and scoop. And with him is Matilda.

STUART: 3......2........1..........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Lifter straight away in underneath Chaos 2 and flipping him! What a spectacular start by Carlo! Chaos 2 struggling and back over. Chaos 2 on the attack but Lifter away. Chaos 2 in peril against our arena wall! This could be it! How did Chaos 2 stay in? Chaos 2 back on the attack with a crash into the wall for Lifter. Chaos 2, trying to be a little bit, um, a copycat shall we say? They nearly had Lifter out! Chaos 2 in trouble as Lifter moves to Shunt's CPZ! Chaos 2 trying to self right, is pushed back down by Shunt's axe. What's this? Lifter's out of the arena! Chaos 2 have won it!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: An amazing battle! Chaos 2 moves to the grand final! *crowd cheers* Well, cats can land on all fours, we can dish it out, on Robot Wars! Bye-bye!

Episode 8:

PEARCE: Tonight's battles pit a grudge match between Chaos 2 and Razer, All-Weather Tire Bot against Alpha Raptor's Revenge and Anto with Wheelchair Bot.

STUART: From Ipswich, Chaos 2.

PEARCE: One of the best in the competition, Series 3 and 4 UK champions.

STUART: From Bordmont, Razer.

PEARCE: The elegant but deadly Razer. The hydraulic crusher punctures all that oppose but the srimech isn't quick.

STUART: Roboteers........standby........

PEARCE: Chaos 2 with George Francis at the controls. And Razer with Ian Lewis at the controls. For House Robots we have the bulldozer blade and axe of Shunt and our deadly mistress, Matilda.

STUART: 3.......2........1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Chaos 2 immediately on the attack with Razer. Razer not doing well for trying to slide underneath Chaos 2. Chaos 2 on the attack again, pushing Razer to Matilda. What's happened to our World Champ out there? Oh dear, Razer's on his srimech and can't use it. Matilda has pushed Razer further into the corner. Chaos 2 with a final shove and Refbot finds a fallen robot. That's it for Razer. Ian Lewis not happy about this at all. Shunt opens the Pit and poor Razer is moved to the Flipper. How far will this bird fly, I wonder? Not far at all it would seem. Matilda with the burial. Chaos 2 through!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, Chaos 2 causes Razer's demise and goes moving on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: Now for round 2.

STUART: From the UK, Anto.

PEARCE: Almost ant-sized with two very small wheels and a spinning disk, possibly too small to see!

STUART: From the United States. Wheelchair Bot

PEARCE: Certainly wheel-chair shaped with two large wheels and a front scoop.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby....

PEARCE: Anto with Craig at the controls and Wheelchair Bot with George Hazard at the controls. To add to the mayhem we welcome our House Robots Dead Metal and Sgt Bash.

STUART: 3.......2.......1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: A slam from both competitors. Wheelchair Bot flipping Anto. Anto back onto his feet. Anto flipped again and using its srimech. Oh, goodness me, Wheelchair Bot has been flipped by Anto! I didn't think an ant could flip an elephant, did you? Anto underneath Wheelchair Bot and slamming him into Dead Metal's CPZ! Dead Metal trying an attack on Wheelchair Bot. (Laughing) He's stuck underneath Wheelchair Bot! Wheelchair Bot doesn't seem to be able to move well, though and oh, dear me, Wheelchair Bot out of the arena!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, the elephant beaten by an ant, Anto goes marching on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: Okay one battle left.

STUART: From the United States, All-Weather Tire Bot

PEARCE: A tire with chains on the outside. Sure hope it doesn't get a flat!

STUART: From the United States, Alpha Raptor's Revenge

PEARCE: Very protective outer shell, err ramming force is supposedly their weaponry but there's no srimech.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby.....

PEARCE: All-Weather Tire Bot with Travis Wood at the controls. And Alpha Raptor's Revenge with Chuck Pitzer at the controls. In the arena for House Robots is Sir Killalot with the lance and pincers and Matilda with the chainsaw and flipping tusks.

STUART: 3.......2.......1.........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Neither robot have any sort of wedge or flipper to help them out so I'm not sure who's winning this one. Oh, dear me, both robots are immobilized! They must be reset! Alright, back to the battle, and again dual immobilization! This is unheard of! We had this in an earlier battle so we should be okay now. Both robots on the attack and once more another double immobilization! What's going here? I'm sure the Roboteers are as baffled as I am over this matter! Surely this can't happen again! Oh goodness me, it has! Are we actually going to get a battle here besides the fight to constantly reset them? At last, Alpha Raptor's Revenge flipped over. They won't be getting their revenge now! Killalot is trying to pick up ARR, who appears to be bigger than Killalot! Matilda opens the Pit, which yawns for a victim and ARR, you are it so go on, Killalot, put him away.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: What a battle! Definitely a first for the books. All-Weather Tire Bot goes rolling on! *crowd cheers* While it's true that we didn't have TV during the dinosaurs, we have the best, on Robot Wars. Bye-Bye!

Episode 7:

PEARCE: We have yet another 6 robots itching to dominate tonight as Razer battles Forklift, Alpha Raptor's Revenge against Flammin' Hot Bot and Lifter battles Mauler II

STUART: From Bordmont, Razer

PEARCE: Our reptilian robot with the crushing beak and righting wings, sure to leave the opponent immobilized.

STUART: From the United States, Forklift

PEARCE: Two-wheel drive, sort of a forklift on the rear a wedge at the front but exposed tires.

STUART: Roboteers......standby.......

PEARCE: Razer with Ian Lewis at the controls and Fork Lift with Gage Cauchois at the controls. For House Robots, Sgt Bash and Shunt.

STUART: 3.......2........1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Forklift on the attack, underneath Razer. Razer away and attacking Forklift! Back and forth they go, when they'll change even I don't know. Razer slams Forklift into the wall and is he rolling over, I wonder? No, just getting stuck on the arena wall. Refbot coming over to check. Nope, doesn't look like Forklift's getting out of there. Now for the Pit, Forklift, you are no longer in this battle. Bash and Shunt with the shove into the Pit.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: What a battle, first Forklift in control, then Razer, then Forklift again but Razer goes moving on! *crowd cheers* Now for round 2.

STUART: From the United States, Alpha Raptor's Revenge

PEARCE: The chassis and design of another robot. Not much weaponry to speak of, nor is there a righting mechanism.

STUART: From the United Kingdom, Flammin' Hot Bot

PEARCE: Two-wheel drive, flame at the rear and a wedge-type design at the front. Weak design, though.

STUART: Roboteers......standby......

PEARCE: Alpha Raptor's Revenge with Chuck Pitzer at the controls and Flammin' Hot Bot with the Diotor boys at the controls. For House Robots we have Matilda and Sir Killalot.

STUART: 3.......2........1.......ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: An early clash, a crash from both robots. Not really able to do much beyond that are they? Oh goodness me, Flammin' Hot Bot is on his roof! They don't have a srimech, which is unfortunate for them because they're out. There's Refbot now counting the turtle robot out. Matilda activates the Pit, then shoves FHB to the Flipper. How far will this one go? Pretty far, actually as it landed close to the Pit. Killalot with the ,err sort of burial. Not quite in there, Killalot. There's the burial.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: A quick but exciting battle as Alpha Raptor's Revenge put out the flames of Flammin' Hot Bot to go marching on! *crowd cheers* Round 3 starts now.

STUART: From the United States, Lifter

PEARCE: Very low ground clearance. Has an actuated lifting arm but no srimech that we know of.

STUART: From the United States, Mauler II

PEARCE: Built from the Tilford boys. Fast spinner but no srimech.

STUART: Roboteers......standby........

PEARCE: Mauler II with Morgan Tilford at the controls. And Lifter with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls. For House Robots, we have for the only time tonight, Dead Metal and with him is Shunt.

STUART: 3.........2...........1...........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: A flip of the lifting arm from Lifter but no one is on top of the arm. Oh goodness me, they have their lifting arm inside Mauler II's body! (laughing) What are they doing? They look like some kind of forklift. Can they get them out? Almost there, almost there but no. How did Mauler escape? Ah well, doesn't much matter now as he has been flipped over, Mauler II and is out of the arena.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: That was a fantastic battle. Lifter rose Mauler II out of the competition and goes skyrocketing on! *crowd cheers* Well, it's dangerous to play with electrical cords, it's amazing to fight, on Robot Wars. Bye-bye!

Episode 6:

PEARCE: Tonight, the carnage continues! Chaos 2 battles X-Terminator, Bender against Anto and Cannible fights Quarter Pounder

STUART: From Ipswich, Chaos 2

PEARCE: Our flipper fiend has its usual deadly flipper and 2-wheel drive. Easily shoved, though.

STUART: From Belmont, X-Terminator

PEARCE: An opponent of Chaos 2 in earlier wars. It has the flipper at the front and srimechs on the side and top.

STUART: Roboteers......standby.....

PEARCE: Chaos 2 with George Francis at the controls. And X-Terminator with Marlon Prichard at the controls. In the arena for House Robots is Shunt and with him, Dead Metal

STUART: 3......2.......1.......ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Chaos 2 with the early flip on X-Terminator. X-Terminator on the attack but Chaos 2 the quicker to flip. XT with its flip  and is Chaos 2 in trouble, I wonder? No, back over is Chaos 2. Chaos 2 takes XT to Dead Metal. XT in trouble, can they free themselves? Yes, indeed they can and ooh can they flip Dead Metal? Nope, not quite. Chaos 2 again in peril! Are our stars out? Chaos 2 free. Chaos 2 on the attack, flipping XT again. XT self-righting. Chaos 2, into XT, activating the Pit. Who will fall to oblivion? Wait, is XT stuck on the arena wall? It's not moving well. Chaos 2 trying to help them? XT free from the wall. Chaos 2 in underneath XT to Dead Metal.  XT on the attack to Dead Metal. Will he flip this time? Not this time, either, XT! XT flipping Chaos near the Pit! Chaos flipping XT near the Pit! What an exciting battle this has been! The judges are going to have to decide!

CRAIG: While the judges make up their minds, let's review the highlights.

PEARCE: Chaos 2 with multiple attacks on XT. XT flips Chaos and gets him stuck twice.

STUART: CEASE!

PEARCE: Who goes through?

CRAIG: The judges have made their decision....they've gone for CHAOS 2! Chaos spread havoc on X-Terminator, they move on! *crowd cheers* Now for round 2.

STUART: From the United States, Bender

PEARCE: A very strong blade on top with 2-wheel drive. No srimech, though.

STUART: From somewhere in the UK, Anto

PEARCE: Small, two-wheel design with a rotary disc at the front.

STUART: Roboteers......standby......

PEARCE: Anto, with Craig at the controls and Bender with Jim Snook at the controls. From our roulette of House Robots, we have Matilda and Sgt. Bash.

STUART: 3......2.......1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Bender on the attack on Anto. Anto away and on the attack on Bender and goodness me, both robots are flipped! Anto still mobile, though. Refbot having a look. There's the countdown. Bender, this is goodbye, your days in the ring are through for this wars. Bash and Matilda have now put you out of your misery.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, Bender wasn't bent but he was beaten by an ant. Anto goes marching on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: Round 3 with Cannible and Quarter Pounder.

STUART: From the United States, Quarter Pounder

PEARCE: With a weaponry of  an overhead hammer, that will definitely pound the meat out of other robots!

STUART: From the United States, Cannible

PEARCE: Invertible, 2-wheel drive but exposed tires.

STUART: Roboteers......standby......

PEARCE: Quarter Pounder with Patrick Campbell at the controls. And Cannible with George Hazard at the controls. For House Robots, we have Sir Killalot and with him is Dead Metal.

STUART: 3......2......1......ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Both robots on the attack. Oh, Quarter Pounder's on his side! He's pretty well immobilized! Guess not as Cannible a little generous pushes Quarter Pounder forward. Poor Refbot seems to have somehow ended up on his side and is watching from another angle. Quarter pounder wisely using his srimech. QP in underneath Cannible and takes him to Dead Metal. Cannible free now. Oh, goodness me, both robots flipped over! Doesn't really matter for Cannible, they can run either way but QP self-rights again. Cannible attacking QP, QP attacking Cannible, what a close battle this is! Oh, I may have spoken to soon as that's Cannible going out of the arena!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Cannible not eaten but beaten, Quarter Pounder storms forward! *crowd cheers* They say we've had many civil wars, we have robot mayhem, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

Episode 5:

PEARCE: Okay, so here's our line up for tonight: D.E.A.T.H. takes on Mauler II, I Maul U takes on All Weather Tire Bot and Grappler battles Alpha Raptor's Revenge. First is D.E.A.T.H vs. Mauler II

STUART: From The United States, D.E.A.T.H.

PEARCE: Well I certainly hope his performance doesn't spell death for him as he has two-wheel drive, a powerful cutting disk and runs both ways up.

STUART: From Portola Valley, California: Mauler II

PEARCE: Another spinner, supposedly bigger and better than their smaller counterpart. It can't self-right though.

STUART: Roboteers......standby......

PEARCE: D.E.A.T.H. with Jim Smentowski at the controls. The deadly Mauler II with General Morgan Tilford at the controls. For House Robots, we have Shunt and Dead Metal.

STUART: 3......2......1.......ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Mauler II in underneath D.E.A.T.H.. DEATH away. Mauler II in underneath DEATH again and can he put DEATH out? He's certainly trying but DEATH escapes. Oh, goodness me, both robots are immobilized! They must be separated! Okay, we have a battle again as DEATH is flipped by Mauler II but DEATH can run either way. Good hit by DEATH as he launches Mauler II into the air. Another double immobilization!? This battle is immense! In all my years, never have I seen two robots immobilize each other twice, let alone in the same battle! Mauler II again underneath DEATH, ooh and he found a new way to shove DEATH around. DEATH onto his side! I think that's the end of DEATH! What a battle this has been! DEATH certainly lived up to his name, ironically. DEATH is dead and the House Robots are out. Shunt moves DEATH to the flipper, activates the Pit, and Dead Metal puts DEATH into his grave, the Pit of Oblivion.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, DEATH met an untimely end, Mauler II goes tearing on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: Now for round 2.

STUART: From the United States, I Maul U.

PEARCE: A rear wedge and a large disc at the front, runs upside down but very high ground clearance, though.

STUART: From the United States, All Weather Tire Bot

PEARCE: Not much more than a tire with chains on it for weaponry. No srimech or thick armor.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby......

PEARCE: I Maul U with Steven Bige at the controls. And of course All-Weather Tire Bot with Travis Wood at the controls. For House Robots, we welcome Sir Killalot, our knight of the realm and with him is Matilda, the mistress of mayhem.

STUART: 3......2.......1......ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: All Weather Tire Bot in underneath the blade of I Maul U. Quite amazing, isn't it? The fact that Tire Bot can fit underneath I Maul U's blade! Tire Bot in underneath and pushing Maul U to Matilda's CPZ, where Maul U has lost his back wedge! What power by the Wood crew! Tire Bot has now flipped Maul U over, how did that happen? Maul U back over. *Laughs* Maul U is on top of the arena wall! Killalot wants to play and flips Maul U over. Goodness me, Tire Bot threw Maul U out of the arena! What a finale this has been!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Maul U got thrown out and Tire Bot goes rolling on! *crowd cheering*

PEARCE: Now for the final battle, Grappler and Alpha Raptor's Revenge

STUART: From the UK, Grappler.

PEARCE: A design straight out of one of those CAT machines, only smaller of course. A front scoop-like weaponry but no srimech.

STUART: From the United States: Alpha Raptor's Revenge

PEARCE: Virtually a stripped-down version of another robot. No srimech here either.

STUART: Roboteers......standby......

PEARCE: Alpha Raptor's Revenge with Chuck Pitzer at the controls. Grappler with Alec Aizner at the controls. In the arena for House Robots, Sgt Bash with the flame, and with him is the axe and scoop of Shunt.

STUART: 3......2......1......ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Alpha Raptor's Revenge clearly the heavier and bigger of the two. What's Grappler doing out there? He seems to be trying to grab ARR. Not sure how that's going to happen and of course he is flipped onto his side and already immobilized. ARR having fun pushing the far tinier Grappler around. Grappler being helped by his opponent? Quite the generous offer, I think by Chuck Pitzer. ARR somehow tossed into the air. No idea how such a tiny robot can fling a much bigger and heavier robot into the air like that, do you? Grappler now on his side, barely able to move. ARR slamming Grappler hard into the wall, don't think he'll get out of there, though he's trying. Refbot's having a look.  Grappler trying to use his weaponry to free himself but it doesn't seem to be working. He's out, Alpha Raptor's Revenge through. Well, Shunt has freed him without any problem! Grappler now on the Flipper. It's over for their team, that's for sure. Bash with the shove into the Pit.

CRAIG: What a battle, Grappler couldn't get a grip on Alpha Raptor's Revenge. Alpha Raptor's Revenge goes fighting on! *crowd cheers* Well, we all know how a lion roars, watch how robots fight, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

Episode 4:

PEARCE: Tonight, another 3 competitors test their wits against one another. Anto takes on S.A.W, U Lose tries to shove X-Terminator and Bender attacks RA

STUART: From somewhere in the UK, Anto

PEARCE: a very small design with a cleverly hidden saw at the front. It's easily flippable and the tires are exposed.

STUART: From the United States, S.A.W.

PEARCE: Certainly living up to his name with a rather large cutting blade at the front but is easily flippable and also has exposed tires.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby.....

PEARCE: There's Anto with Craig at the controls. And there is S.A.W. with George Hazard at the controls. In the arena for House Robots is our mistress of mayhem Matilda and Dead Metal.

STUART: 3.....2......1.....ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Anto bumping into S.A.W. I'm not too sure he can get underneath, Anto. His design doesn't seem to be able to handle S.A.W.'s unusual design. Oh goodness me, both robots are flipped! Back over they go. Anto flipped S.A.W. What a flip it was! S.A.W. back over and attacking Anto. Anto underneath and shoves S.A.W out of the arena!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: S.A.W. got cut from the competition. Anto goes marching on! *Crowd cheers*

PEARCE: With Anto going through, its U Lose against X-Terminator.

STUART: From Belmont, X-Terminator

PEARCE: Another oddly-shaped robot with a flipper at the front and srimechs on the sides.

STUART: From the United States, U Lose

PEARCE: A partial wedge design with a lifer at the front. Exposed tires and slow weaponry could pose a problem.

STUART: Roboteers.......standby......

PEARCE: X-Terminator with Marlon Prichard at the controls and U Lose with George Hazard at the controls. For House Robots, we have Sir Killalot with the lance and pincers and joining him tonight is Sgt Bash.

STUART: 3.......2.......1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: U Lose with a lift underneath X-Terminator. Can't seem to flip him, though. U Lose with another go but X-Terminator in underneath and pushes him to the lair of Sir Killalot. (Laughing) Both robots in peril, X-Terminator by Killalot and U Lose by X-Terminator! What a terrific show by these competitors! X-Terminator free and away. What's happened to U Lose? They seem to be perched on our arena side wall! Is X-Terminator trying to help them out, I wonder? Nope, not today says X-Terminator and shoves him out of the arena.

CRAIG: X-Terminator exterminates U Lose and moves on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: Final bout of the day featuring RA and Bender, two US competitors

STUART: From Burbank, California, Bender

PEARCE: I certainly hope that blade isn't going to be the one bending in this bout.

STUART: From somewhere in the United States, RA

PEARCE: Ra, Ra, Ra, not too sure it'll last very long, though.

STUART: Roboteers......standby.....

PEARCE: RA with Solomon Spector at the controls and for Bender, Jim Snook at the controls. For House Robots, we have Shunt and with him, Matilda.

STUART: 3......2......1......ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: A slam from both robots and both are upside down! We must reset them! Okay both back over and Bender with a slam and...what is RA doing, rolling away? RA somehow back over. Both robots away. RA flips Bender?! How was this achieved? Oh dear, not my expectation for RA being the winner of the bout. Refbot counts RA out, Matilda activates the Pit, and Shunt shoves him down.

CRAIG: Well, RA gets to have a hurrah as they defeat Bender and go spinning on! *crowd cheers* There are stars with red-hot cores, we have major carnage, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

Episode 3:

PEARCE: We've got Hypnodisc and Cannible, Flammin' Hot Bot against Spin2Win and Quarter Pounder V Swinging Knife.

STUART: From Middleton Cheney, Hypnodisc.

PEARCE: The destructive Hypnodisc with that massive rotary disk. It's ground clearance is quite high, though.

STUART: From the United States: Cannible

PEARCE: A cannon-shaped weapon, runs both ways up but exposed tires could pose a problem.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby.....

PEARCE: Hypnodisc with the Rose boys, Dave Rose at the controls. Cannible with George Hazard at the controls. For House Robots we have the jaws and saw of Dead Metal as well as the deadly arms and crude face of Sir Killalot.

STUART: 3......2......1.......ACTIVATE!

PEARCE:  Who's marching on? Hypnodisc in underneath Cannible and into the wall but is Hypnodisc immobilized already, I wonder? Cannible certainly isn't. Hypnodisc free from the wall. Cannible in underneath Hypnodisc and puts him up against the wall! I think Hypnodisc is immobilized! They can't self-right from there, I don't think. Nope, not going to happen for the Rose boys, they're on their back now. Refbot having a look. Goodbye, Hypnodisc, may your destructive force return someday...........not today, though! Cannible through! Killalot will now bring you, dear Hypnodisc to your final resting place, or rusting place I should say, the Pit of Oblivion!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, Cannible made a meal out of Hypnodisc. They go marching on! *crowd cheers*

PEARCE: Alright, Cannible through. Next is Flammin' Hot Bot and Spin2Win

STUART: From the United Kingdom, Flammin' Hot Bot

PEARCE: Well he's certainly hot under the collar with that rear flame. Also has a front wedge-like weapon but not too sure the body will hold, though.

STUART: From the United States, Spin2Win.

PEARCE: A simple wedge design, runs on two wheels and upside down, sturdy construction but exposed tires. For House Robots, we have the flames of Sgt Bash and the mischief of mistress Matilda.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby.....

PEARCE: Flammin' Hot Bot with the builders of Diotor at the controls. Spin2Win with the Rose boys once again at the controls.

STUART: 3......2.......1........ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Flammin' Hot Bot in underneath the quicker Spin2Win. Spin2Win away. Spin2Win searching for any source of opening but Flammin' Hot Bot certainly not allowing that sort of thing to get by. Flammin' Hot Bot again slipping under Spin2Win's rather low ground clearance and flipping him over. Doesn't really matter, though for Spin2Win, except that his wedge raises his ground clearance. Ooh, Flammin' Hot Bot being shoved by Spin2Win, who has him pinned against the wall! Spin2Win away again. Flammin' Hot Bot in underneath and throwing Spin2Win OUT OF THE ARENA! Goodness me! Flammin' Hot Bot through.

CRAIG: Flammin' Hot Bot proved to be too hot for Spin2Win, they go burning on! *crowd cheering*

PEARCE: Now for round 3.

STUART: From the United States, Swinging Knife.

PEARCE: Two-wheel drive, has a knife-like weaponry at the rear and a wedge scoop at the front.

STUART: From the United States, Quarter Pounder.

PEARCE: It's no hamburger, that's for sure but it possesses a hammer-like weapon, though.

STUART: Roboteers.........standby........

PEARCE: There's Swinging Knife with Christian Carlberg at the controls, and Quarter Pounder with   In the arena for House Robots, we have the scoop and axe of Shunt. With him is the pincers and saw of Dead Metal.

STUART: 3......2......1......ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Swinging Knife uses his wedge to hopefully flip Quarter Pounder over. Quarter Pounder, uh, striking the floor with his axe. Swinging Knife flips Quarter Pounder over. Now Quarter Pounder does have a srimech, the self-righting mechanism but wait, is Swinging Blade immobilized? He's trying to use Shunt to flip him over, but it's obviously not working. Okay, both robots mobile again and Swinging Knife takes on Shunt and flips him! Shunt, remember Swinging Knife and get your revenge! Quarter Pounder's like a pinball as he bounces off our arena walls! Swinging Knife is back over now, not sure how he accomplished that, really. Quarter Pounder in underneath Swinging Knife and throws him out! What a fantastic battle this has been!

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, the knife stopped swinging as Quarter Pounder made as sandwich out of Swinging Knife. Quarter Pounder through! *crowd cheering* Some houses have nice dining room floors, we have the nicest battles, on Robot Wars, bye-bye!

Episode 2:

PEARCE: Tonight's lineup features Chaos 2 against BULLdozer, the spinner Mauler up against Lifter and finally Your Worst Knightmare vs. Forklift.

STUART: From Ipswich: Chaos 2

PEARCE: Series 3 and 4 UK champions. Their CO2 flipper is extremely powerful but it does have its limits and Chaos is shuntable.

STUART: From the United States, BULLdozer

PEARCE: Not to sure about it being able to shove bulls around but it has good traction and has a bulldozer blade for a weapon.

STUART: Roboteers...standby...

PEARCE: Here is Chaos 2 with George Francis at the controls along with Ian and Richard Swann. BULLdozer with George Hazard at the controls. In the arena for House Robots, we have Sgt Bash with the flame and Dead Metal with the blade and jaws.

STUART: 3.....2.....1.....ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: BULLdozer uses his scoop-like weaponry to get under Chaos 2. Chaos 2 away, good move by George Francis. BULL in underneath Chaos 2 and slams him into the wall. Chaos 2 back over and attacking BULL. Can't seem to get underneath BULL, Chaos 2, but BULL does and nearly throws Chaos 2 out again! Another lucky break for Chaos! Chaos 2 underneath and FLIPS BULL ONTO HIS SIDE! What tremendous effort by Chaos 2! Now BULL can self-right but I don't think so from here. Refbot doesn't think so either as he counts down. That's it, Chaos 2 the winners! Dead Metal out quickly as he opens the Pit. Bash, get out of that Pit! Whew, that was close. Let's see how far this bulldozer flies. Ooh! Nearly out of the arena, goodness me! Bash puts an end to BULL's misery.

STUART: CEASE!

PEARCE: Alright, Chaos 2 through to the next round. Next is Mauler and Lifter.

STUART: From Belmont California: Lifter.
PEARCE: Certainly lives up to his name. He has wedge skirts around the perimeter and the actuated lifting arm.

STUART: From Portola Valley, California: Mauler

PEARCE: A spin bot with err side chisels as an aid for the weaponry.

STUART: Roboteers.....standby....

PEARCE: There's Mauler with the Tilford crew with Morgan Allan at the controls. That's Lifer with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls. For the House Robots, we have the knight of the realm, Sir Killalot and here to push and shove is Shunt.

STUART: 3....2....1....ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Lifer attempts a flip on the spinner. Where would it land, I wonder?. Lifer seems to have an idea as he flips Mauler but Mauler appears to disagree as he uses his new srimech. No, no, says Lifter. Mauler's on his side! I think that's the end of him. What a shame, he could've put up quite the fight. Now all that's left is to put the spinner on his resting place. We know where he'll land, the Pit of Oblivion! Mauler out and so are the House Robots. I wonder, is the ground clearance going to be too much for our knight of the realm? Shunt's trying to help out but it doesn't seem to be working. Oh dear is Killalot immobilized? How on Earth did he end up that way? Shunt gives Killalot a helping shove. Mauler is now being pushed to the Flipper. Alright, Shunt, put him where he belongs, the Pit.

STUART: CEASE!

PEARCE: Wheelchair Bot on the aggressive side, getting underneath Panic Attack. Is Panic Attack immobilized I wonder? Oooh, WB pushes Panic Attack into Shunt's CPZ! Rebot coming out to have a look! It looks like Panic Attack is immobilized as Refbot is counting him out! Shunt opens the Pit and where are they taking them? Ah, to the Flipper. Killalot and Shunt are going to put poor Panic Attack out of his misery but (laughing)Shunt's in there as well!

STUART: CEASE!

PEARCE: Alright, time for round 2 with Pussycat and Wheely Big Cheese.

STUART: From Langport, in Somerset: Wheely Big Cheese

PEARCE: His flipper is certainly wheely wheely big, that's for sure as he has wheely wheely big wheels too!

STUART: From Closter: Pussycat

PEARCE: The cat with 9 lives and a deadly scratch to boot!

STUART: Roboteers, standby....

PEARCE: There's Wheely Big Cheese with Roger Plant, Jon McGugan and Murray Wharf. And there's Pussycat with Stuart Barnwell, Amanda Barnwell, Roger Barnwell. The House Robots for this match are Matilda with the tusks and chainsaw as well as Dead Metal with the 3000 RPM saw and jaws.

STUART: 3.....2.....1.....ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: Wheely Big Cheese with an early flip. Pussycat uses its srimech. WBC brings Pussycat to Matilda! Oh, looks like Pussycat's got ten lives as it slips away! WBC with yet another flip and Pussycat proving that it can always land on its feet as it flips back over again. Pussycat smartly activates the pit and wait a sec, Pussycat's on his side! Oh dear, it looks like its lives have run out! Refbot has a look and it's counting Pussycat out! So the cheese is through and the bots get their meal. Matilda pushes the cat onto the Flipper. Guess it wants to see the cat fly! I'm not so sure this cat will fly well, do you? It certainly does fly on our arena Flipper, though! Dead Metal with a shove into the Pit.

STUART: CEASE!

PEARCE: Now, onto Round 3 with Razer and Angler.

STUART: From Bordluth, Razer

PEARCE: The part bird, part reptile, all machine! It's got a puncturing beak which has shown to be quite the threat. It does have a slow srimech, though.

STUART: From the United States, Angler

PEARCE: A four-wedged bot with a lifting...err...ram. Cannot self-right though.

STUART: Roboteers, standby...

PEARCE: There's Razer with Ian Lewis at the controls, Simon Scott and Vincent Blood. And here we have Angler with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls. For the House Robots, we have the quick and light Shunt and the deadly and heavy Sir Killalot.

STUART: 3.....2.....1....ACTIVATE!

PEARCE: The deadly Razer against the tough Angler! A clash in the arena with no damage done.  Razor on the attack and is flipped over! Goodness me, both robots are immobilized! Razer using his srimech and we have a battle again! Razor flips Angler over and it is over! Refbot counts him out and Razer goes through! Where will a dead robot go first? Killalot thinks he'll put him on the Flipper! Let's see how far we go! Oh my goodness, that flip was immense! Shunt activates the pit and the two of them finish the job.

STUART: CEASE!

CRAIG: Well, there aren't always the greatest swinging doors but there's always the best, on Robot Wars, bye-bye.
