Episode 14 |
"This is it, we're down to 3 robots and one of them will be our new
champion. So here's how they match up with Chaos 2 up against Spin2Win
and the winner facing Punjar for the Grand Final," began Stefan. "From the United States, Spin2Win," announced Stuart. "With 2 wheels, spinnin' is the easy part for this bot but they're up against the reigning champion so we'll see if they can get the other half of their name," noted Stefan. "From Ipswich, Chaos 2," continued Stuart. "The 175 pounds of pure flippin' power and the awesome driving ability of George Francis," stated Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "George Francis up in the box there for Chaos 2. Dave Rose is in the other box there for Spin2Win. Down in our box of death we have Sgt Bash with his pincers and flamethrower and the other House Robot with pincers Dead Metal," explained Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Spin2Win under Chaos 2 and is bringing him to the arena side wall and this could be a quick end for our champion here but it looks like the front edge of Spin2Win's wedge is preventing Chaos 2 from going out of the arena but look at Chaos 2, heading right to the back end of Spin2Win and gets off like it's a scale! Superb driving there by George Francis and that so far has saved Chaos 2 from certain defeat. Now things seem to be more even as neither one able to get underneath but a brief flip over and self-right from Chaos 2 there and uh-oh, there's a front wedge plate on the arena floor! That can only mean that Spin2Win has lost his front wedge! Good thing he has those spikes but I don't think they're going to be too effective. Chaos 2 on his back again but able to use that self-righting mechanism to get back over. Spin2Win on his back again as well but his low ground clearance isn't quite low enough for Chaos 2 as he flips him again. Chaos 2 going for the Pit trigger and down goes the Pit but Spin2Win now on one wheel! Talk about an unlucky break for Spin2Win there but time is ticking down to what was an awesome end to the semi finals," commented Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Well, Chaos 2 in the finals against Punjar! Boy will this be a final to remember," confirmed Stefan. "Chaos 2. Punjar. Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There are our two finalists but only one can be the champion. The House 'bots in this round will be Sir Killalot and the matriarch of mayhem, Matilda," added Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "So here's the final battle of the tournament and Chaos 2 is on top of Punjar and near the arena side wall but Punjar is a little short to get him out of the arena, literally! Another pretty even battle here right now as neither one getting underneath but flipping each other over and using those self-righting mechanisms. Chaos 2 on his back again but uses that CO2 to get him back onto his wheels. Both robots now with Matilda in her CPZ and makes Chaos 2 end up on his back end and Punjar within inches of sliding out of the arena! Chaos 2 is tryin' to get back over and it's a wonder how long they can keep going here but both robots able to get away as Punjar delivers another flip but ends up on top of Chaos 2! Chaos 2 back over but Punjar is on his side! We haven't seen him there all tournament and it's a shame that he is now because now he's being counted out after being what I thought was the more aggressive and soon-to-be champion but not so here as Killalot opens up the Pit while Matilda puts Punjar on the Flipper and almost gets a little air herself!" exclaimed Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Well, that was certainly a final battle there but Chaos 2 stays our champion of Robot Wars! That's all for this edition. Please tune in next time as another conquest of robot domination begins. Until then, I'm Mick Foley saying 'Fight on!'," finished Mick. |
Episode 13 |
"Only 6 robots remain to
fight out for being our Robot Wars champion and it's time to see who
else gets eliminated," started Stefan. "From the United States, Lifter," called Stuart. "Lifter in at 210 pounds has an actuated lifting arm and sloped sides to make him hard to get underneath," read Stefan. "From the United States, Punjar," continued Stuart. "Another 210 pound robot and pretty powerful with that front end," analyzed Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Punjar with Ramiro Mallari up in the booth. Lifter with his builder Carlo Bertoccini at the controls. In the arena's corners will be Dead Metal with his pincers and saw, alongside Matilda with her tusks and chainsaw," added Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "As this battle gets underway, Punjar gets right underneath and makes Lifter feel the breeze beneath his wheels before Lifter can get out of there but is on top of Punjar again and this time Lifter is up against the rails and all of his wheels are completely off the ground! If he doesn't get down from there soon, Punjar will move on but Lifter is back on the arena floor again! Looks like right now both robots are pretty evenly matched as they keep flippin' each other over but are able to get back onto their wheels but now Punjar is underneath again and brings him to the arena side wall and uh-oh, I think he's stuck there as Refbot has a look. It could be all over for Punjar, who has done so well in this tournament but wait a minute, Punjar is free with a second left! Wow, talk about having an opening for freedom there and Punjar is back to pushing Lifter to the arena side wall! He really wants him out of the arena but it looks like he won't get there as the 10 second clock ticks down," commented Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "I've just received word that Punjar will move on," confirmed Mick. "With Punjar going through, let's see who's up next and it's Chaos 2 up against Mauler," stated Stefan. "From the United States of America, Mauler," announced Stuart. "The spinbot Mauler in at 210 pounds has those side flails that's sure to do some damage in this one," noted Stefan. "From Ipswich, the reigning champion Chaos 2," continued Stuart. "Chaos 2 with that awesome flipper in at 175 pounds is the one to watch in this one," recalled Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "Chaos 2 with driver George Francis at the controls. There's Mauler with Morgan Tilford up in his team's box. Guarding the CPZs will be the flame throwin' Sgt Bash and the big daddy Sir Killalot," explained Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Chaos 2 bringin' that powerful flipper to work by putting Mauler on his head but Mauler has that self-righting mechanism to get back into the battle. Mauler has that spin action going and is flipped but self-rights, then Chaos 2 is flipped but they too have a self-righter and they'll need it to stay alive here. Uh-oh, Chaos 2 is on his side but Mauler must've been trying to damage Chaos 2 but knocked them back over instead and that's a lucky break for George Francis' team as they don't want to lose their title and now Mauler is up underneath the rails in the arena and is trying to self-right but havin' a hard time and Refbot fears that Mauler is done for but Mauler gets back over," reacted Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "So which one is it going to be? Chaos 2 through to the next round. Next up, Spin2Win and BULLdozer," concluded Stefan. "From the United States, Spin2Win," shared Stuart. "Spin2Win with that low front wedge and rear spikes can run either way up but is pretty high in the middle in terms of ground clearance," said Stefan. "From the USA, BULLdozer," added Stuart. "The lightest of these two robots at 121 pounds has a front bulldozer scoop and treads just like the real thing," told Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "Spin2Win's Dave Rose there in the box. BULLdozer's builder Jerome Miles at the controls. Down on the arena floor to join our competitors will be Shunt and his diamond-edged axe. Alongside him is Matilda," noted Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Here's our final battle of the night but it looks to be over already as BULLdozer is on his side and has no way to get back onto his feet so here comes Spin2Win to push him right out of the arena!" exclaimed Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "That was the shortest match of the tournament so far as it was over in like 5 seconds. The House Robots didn't even get to do anything besides stay in their corners. That's all for this edition. Please tune in next time as we conclude this awesome tournament. This is Mick Foley saying "Fight On!"," finished Mick. |
Episode 12 |
"Another 3 robots are waiting to fight it out
tonight as we start the Semi-Finals and here they are. Chaos 2 up
against Wheelchair Bot, Punjar up against Dominator 2 but first
Firestorm IV against Spin2Win," began Stefan. "From Durham, Firestorm IV," called Stuart. "Firestorm IV in at 220 pounds has that outward flippin' flipper that has proven effective so far and it also has the wedge design," analyzed Stefan. "From the United States, Spin2Win," continued Stuart. "The invertible Spin2Win in at 145 pounds has a front wedge and some rear spikes for some rammin' if it comes down to that," stated Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Spin2Win with Dave Rose at the controls. Firestorm IV with Graham Bone up in the box. In our own box with the competitor robots will be the flame thrower of Sgt Bash. Plus the pincers of Dead Metal" continued Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Spin2Win with that low wedge getting right underneath but Firestorm is able to get away and he needs to if he doesn't want to be taken advantage of. Oh Firestorm gets flipped but that flipper acts as a self-righter so Firestorm is back in this but look at Spin2Win having no problem flipping Firestorm another 3 times! This is sure going to be a tough one for the Firestorm boys but now Spin2Win is inverted, which means that wedge is useless now as Firestorm is now using this to his advantage but looks like he got a little too aggressive and has put Spin2Win back upright but has triggered the Pit as well. Someone's going down but the question is which one. Doesn't look like we'll be finding out as the 10 second clock has kicked in so the judges will decide," explained Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "It's a close call here as both robots were still moving after the time expired and I've just received word that Spin2Win are the winners!" confirmed Mick. "Firestorm, just not enough control in that battle there. What a shame for that team. Next up, it's Chaos 2 up against Wheelchair Bot," added Stefan. "From the United States, Wheelchair Bot," said Stuart. "The sturdy Wheelchair Bot at 145 pounds can run either way up and is pretty low to the ground on either side," read Stefan. "From Ipswich, the reigning champion Chaos 2," announced Stuart. "Chaos 2 in at 175 pounds comes with its flipper that has left no doubt why it's the king of the competition," recalled Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Chaos 2 with the driver George Francis and his team. Wheelchair Bot with Christian Carlberg up in the box. Guardin' those CPZs will be Matilda and her chainsaw. With her is the heaviest of all, Sir Killalot," continued Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Wheelchair Bot under Chaos 2's flipper and immediately flips him onto his back! Chaos 2, doin' the other thing he does best and that's get himself back onto his wheels quickly but Wheelchair Bot just as quick and flips him again! Wow, Chaos 2 havin' a real struggle in this one. Oh, now Chaos 2 has flipped Wheelchair Bot but I wonder whether or not the wedge on the front of Wheelchair Bot will be anymore effective and it seems that it's less effective as Chaos 2 is underneath and pushing him around with Wheelchair Bot having no traction whatsoever! Chaos 2 havin' another onslaught and uh-oh, those wheels on Wheelchair Bot aren't movin' and Refbot is looking to see whether or not Wheelchair Bot is immobilized and it looks like he is as we're seein' Christian movin' the controls but not getting any response from the robot so that last attack from Chaos 2 must've done somethin' to the controls because Wheelchair Bot is out of there," reacted Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Chaos creating chaos on Wheelchair Bot to knock him down for good and moves straight on through. Who is battling it out next?" remarked Mick. "Our last bout tonight features Punjar and Dominator 2," replied Stefan. "From Huntington, Dominator 2," called Stuart. "Dominator 2 in at 220 pounds has that strong axe and unique wedge at the front to do some major pushin'," read Stefan. "From the United States, Punjar," announced Stuart. "Punjar with his pushin' power as well in at 210 pounds has a scoop on the front, which will really make this a battle of the shovers," remarked Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Dominator 2 with Paul Tolliday at the controls. Punjar with Ramiro Mallari controlling his robot. We've got some pushin' power of our own in the name of Shunt. How about some flippin' power as well with Matilda," explained Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "So let's see who has the stronger shove and it appears to be Punjar as he puts Dominator 2 on his back end but knocks him on his side and Dominator 2 gets back over. Both robots on their backs now and that just goes to show the power these two have when it comes to pushing around and both of them are back in this one. Now Dominator 2 is up on top of Punjar and has no wheels on the ground so this is a free drive for Punjar who has him up against the rails but somehow Dominator 2 is able to get away. Punjar underneath again and has him up against the side wall again but this time Dominator 2 is out of there!" shouted Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Boy I tell ya, that match was looking to be quite the battle but Punjar was just too much for Dominator 2 and he's going through," concluded Mick. "So here are the final 6 robots for this last semi-final round: Chaos 2, Lifter, Punjar, Mauler, Spin2Win, and BULLdozer," noted Stefan. "That's all for this edition. Please tune in next time as we finish our quest for glory, right here on Robot Wars. Until then, fight on!" finished Mick. |
Episode 11 |
"We're getting down to the wire here as we
enter the last part of our Quarter Final. So here's how they line up.
Anto up against Mauler, BULLdozer up against Mauler II but first Lifter
up against Suicidal Tendencies," analyzed Stefan. "From Derby, Suicidal Tendencies," called Stuart. "Suicidal Tendencies in at 210 pounds has a front crushing beak and a front scoop," recalled Stefan. "From the United States of America, Lifter," anounced Stuart. "Lifter also in at 210 pounds has a lethal actuated lifting arm and side skirts for protection," analyzed Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Suicidal Tendencies with Charles Binns up in the booth. Over there is Lifter with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls for his team. Our competitors will have to deal with the House Robots like all 616 pounds of Sir Killalot and Matilda with her tusks and chainsaw," confirmed Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Here's our first battle as Suicidal Tendencies gets right underneath Lifter but Lifter slips off the scoop design and is lucky to get away. Suicidal Tendencies having no trouble at all getting underneath and pushes Lifter around again but still Lifter is able to get away. Oh Lifter gets flipped over but that arm can self-right and he does. Suicidal Tendencies has him again but look at the balancing act performed by Lifter as he's right on his rear end! I tell ya, I didn't see that coming at all with those angled wedges making this a near impossibility but Lifter gets off before Tendencies can reach the wall. Now Lifter is underneath Suicidal Tendencies and has him on his side against the rails! Wow, what a shame this would be if Suicidal Tendencies goes out like this after being so dominant in this battle. Refbot coming to have a look and Suicidal Tendencies can't seem to get off the wall so it's over for him. Out come the House Robots and Matilda triggers the Pit but puts Suicidal Tendencies on the Flipper but oh no, she flips herself as well! She just stood there for too long and now it's up to Killalot to finish the job and into the Pit for Suicidal Tendencies," reacted Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Suicidal Tendencies having the tendency to commit Boticide and ends up in the Pit. Who's up next?" recapped Mick. "Next up, Mick, it's Mauler II up against BULLdozer," anwered Stefan. "From the United States, Mauler II," announced Stuart. "Mauler II in at 210 pounds is a spinbot with flails on the sides," commented Stefan. "From the United States, BULLdozer," continued Stuart. "BULLdozer in at 121 pounds has a front bulldozer blade so maybe Shunt has some competition out there?" told Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "Mauler II with Morgan Tilford up in the box. BULLdozer with Jerome Miles at the controls. The House Robots for this battle will be Dead Metal and his arsenal of destructive weaponry. Alongside him will be Sgt Bash," explained Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Look at the impacts of both robots as they're practically flying backwards away from each other! Mauler now up on his head but is able to get back over but BULLdozer not letting up and puts him back on his head seconds later. Oh now Mauler II is on top of Refbot and Refbot backs away not really wanting any part of it or any part to lose for that matter. BULLdozer has his lifting scoop facing the arena floor but that's not going to do any good as he gets it back down and sends Mauler II out of the arena!" exclaimed Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Mauler took a licking and kept on ticking until he got himself a but kicking out of the arena. Let's go to the battle board for our last match," recapped Mick. "Last up, it's Anto up against Mauler," replied Stefan. "From the United States, Mauler," stated Stuart. "The original Mauler in at 210 pounds has that low center of gravity and is another spinbot," analyzed Stefan. "From the USA, Anto," continued Stuart. "The 122 pound Anto has a front cutting disk and is pretty maneuverable," remembered Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Anto with Craig Danby at the controls. Mauler with Morgan Tilford back in his box. In those CPZs will be Dead Metal again and the deadly hands of Sir Killalot," added Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "I'm not to sure that either design will help get underneath but both bots are sent flying with Mauler landing on his head and Anto on one of his two wheels. Mauler able to self-right but Anto can't as his self-righting mechanism is on the other wheel or his head. I think Mauler is trying to get Anto out but Anto's wheel is preventing this. Refbot is going to check and see if Anto is okay but Anto gets out! Anto's not out of the woods yet, no sir as he's still on that one wheel but Mauler able to give him an assist and he's back on two wheels again. Oh now both robots are out of the arena so who will go through?" remarked Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Well, seeing as how Anto went out first, Mauler will be declared the winner. That's it for this edition of Robot Wars. Please tune in next time as we draw closer to a new Robot Wars champion. Until then, fight on!" finished Mick. |
Episode 10 |
"On this episode of Robot Wars, 3 more robots
will attain glory and the other 3 will suffer defeat and here's how they
line up. Anto 2 up against Wheelchair Bot, S.A.W. II up against Quarter
Pounder but first Swinging Knife against Punjar," began Stefan. "From the United States, Punjar," called Stuart. "Punjar in at 210 pounds is very low to the ground and can self-right if he lands on his head," recalled Stefan. "From the United States, Swinging Knife," continued Stuart. "Swinging Knife slightly lighter at 208 pounds can operate either way up and has both a front wedge and a rear knife-blade," explained Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "Ramiro Mallari is at the controls for the Punjar team. Christian Carlberg controls Swinging Knife. The house robots for this bout will be the big daddy Sir Killalot and the flame throwin' pincer crushing action of Sgt Bash," added Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Here we go for our first battle as Swinging Knife gets underneath Punjar but can't seem to hold him or flip him over. Now both robots having a bit of a stalemate then back off. Uh-oh, Swinging Knife is on top of Punjar and his wheels aren't even touching the ground but look at the speed of Punjar as he dumps Swinging Knife out of the arena!" exclaimed Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Swinging Knife does a swing and a miss to get dumped out of the arena. Here comes our next match up," recapped Mick. "Indeed, Mick as it's Anto 2 up against Wheelchair Bot," agreed Stefan. "From the United States of America, Anto 2," announced Stuart. "Anto 2, one of the lightest bots in this tournament at 122 pounds has a front ram but he's a little high in the rear as that ground clearance might leave him at a disadvantage but we'll see," analyzed Stefan. "Also from the USA, Wheelchair Bot," stated Stuart. "Wheelchair Bot an invertible design with that front wedge," explained Stuart. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Wheelchair Bot with Christian Carlberg up in the box. Anto 2's driver Craig at the controls. In those CPZs will be Shunt and his major push ability. Alongside him is the 3000 RPM saw and pincers of Dead Metal," added Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Anto 2 is up on his head but we know he can get back over and he quickly does. Wheelchair Bot just seems to be the better robot here as he flips Anto 2 again and again. Oh now Wheelchair Bot is flipped over. That's going to make it even harder to be flipped back as that front wedge is nearly completely on the ground. Uh-oh, Anto 2 is near Shunt's CPZ so he'd better move out of there as Shunt will make him regret it but he got out of there pretty quickly. Both robots up on their sides and can run this way but it looks like they're at a bit of a stalemate as Wheelchair Bot can't seem to push Anto 2 anywhere. Wheelchair Bot back on his inverted side and both robots are moving to the Pit trigger and Anto 2 is up on his head again. Looks like Anto 2 has a wheel outside the arena wall, which will limit his mobility in the arena as Wheelchair Bot is trying to push him out and manages to succeed!" shouted Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Anto 2 really couldn't put up much of a fight and ended up out of the arena. So let's see who rounds out tonight's episode," added Mick. "We're going to see Quarter Pounder up against Dominator 2," replied Stefan. "From Huntington, Dominator 2," began Stuart. "Dominator 2 in at 220 pounds has that front axe and unique wedge design," confrimed Stefan. "From the United States, Quarter Pounder," coninued Stuart. "Quarter Pounder also has an axe that's bound to leave opponents nice and tender," recalled Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Quarter Pounder with Patrick Campbell at the controls. Dominator 2 with Paul Tolliday up in the box. We can't forget the House Robots like the chainsaw and tusks of Matilda. Plus the pincers and lance of Sir Killalot," explained Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Dominator 2 starting out by really firing that axe and hitting Quarter Pounder in some good places as Quarter Pounder can't get underneath at all so far and is now flipped over but able to right itself. Now we wait and see if they can get their axe on Dominator 2. Dominator 2 missing there but still firin' away. This looks like it'll be one for the judges to decide as the 10 second clock winds down," commented Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "I've just been told that it was a close decision in favor of Dominator 2! Whew, I don't think I could've called that one myself if I were a judge. That's it for this episode of Robot Wars. Please tune in next time as we press on for the Grand Final. Until then, fight on!" concluded Mick. |
Episode 9 |
"It's time for Robot Wars and another three
robots have to battle it out for the semi finals so let's see who's
fighting today. It's Wild Thing up against Firestorm IV, X-Terminator 2
up against Spin2Win but first reigning champion Chaos 2 up against
Bender," began Stefan. "From Ipswich, seed number 1 and reigning champion, Chaos 2," announced Stuart. "The awesome Chaos 2 in at 175 pounds has that lethal flipper that everyone knows about," recalled Stefan. "From the United States, Bender," continued Stuart. "Bender in at 210 pounds has a large blade on top and he's pretty low to the ground," analyzed Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Chaos 2 with George Francis the driver. Bender with that massive blade and Eric Stoliker at the controls. Accompanying our two bots will be our own Matilda with her chainsaw and tusks. Alongside her is the deadly pincers and saw of Dead Metal," added Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Here we go for the first battle of the night as both robots are struggling to get underneath, mostly because Bender is so low to the ground but Chaos 2 finds the gap somehow and puts Bender on his head. Luckily Bender has that self-righting mechanism or this one would've been over quickly. Seems like these two robots are a near-perfect match as they're back to struggling against each other but now Bender flips Chaos 2! We know Chaos 2 can get back over and he does. I think this bout will certainly be one to go all the way and those Judges will probably have some hard thinking to decide who goes through if it ends up going the distance but Chaos 2 has sent Bender airborne again but Bender landed on his wheels so he's still in this one. Wow, Bender, whom I thought was lucky to get underneath on the first flip, has done it again and Chaos 2 is on his back once again but quickly back over. We're windin' down in this one as Chaos 2 manages to get another flip right at the end," commented Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "I wouldn't want to be the Judges here as I can't decide who's got this one. Looks like the Judges went with Chaos 2 and what a lucky one it was for George Francis," confirmed Stefan. "Chaos 2 creating chaos and takes a narrow victory into the next round. Who's up next?" replied Mick. "It's Wild Thing against Firestorm, Mick," answered Stefan. "From Hampshire, Wild Thing," stated Stuart. "Wild Thing in at 220 pounds has that spinnin' blade that the team boasts about spinnin' at 6000 RPM but I haven't seen that yet but maybe we'll see a change in this bout," said Stefan. "From Durham, Firestorm IV," added Stuart. "Firestorm IV in at 220 pounds as well has that flipper and front wedge," analyzed Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Firestorm IV with Graham Bone at the controls. Wild Thing with Nick Adams up in the booth. We have some bots of our own in the arena in the form of Shunt with his great pushin' power and Sgt Bash with his flames and pincers," explained Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Firestorm straight away has gotten underneath Wild Thing and I think he's trying to get him out of the arena but oh no, he's stuck at the arena's side himself! Good thing he's able to get away or it'd have been pretty disappointing to do all the work and lose in the process. Wild Thing is underneath Firestorm now but that blade isn't helping too much for that wedge as Firestorm is able to get away. Firestorm, meanwhile is underneath Wild Thing again but somehow Wild Thing slips away. Firestorm is giving it another go to bring Wild Thing near Shunt but Wild Thing is able to slip away again. Wild Thing is up on his side in an empty CPZ or Corner Patrol Zone but that disc of Wild Thing able to help out there. Wild Thing going for the Pit trigger so someone's going down and it looks like it might be Wild Thing ironically but Wild Thing slips away yet again as the 10 second clock counts down. It's up to the Judges now," told Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "And the Judges go with Firestorm IV, which isn't really a surprise considering the numerous times it got underneath and pushed Wild Thing around," confirmed Stefan. "Wild Thing couldn't make Firestorm's motor sing and heads back home. Who's ready for more demolition?" questioned Mick. "For the last battle tonight, it's X-Terminator 2 against Spin2Win," replied Stefan. "From Belmont, X-Terminator 2," called Stuart. "X-Terminator 2 in at 220 pounds has a flipper, scoop, and a way to get back over from the sides," recalled Stefan. "From the United States, Spin2Win," announced Stuart. "Spin2Win in at 145 pounds has rear spikes and a front wedge," continued Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Spin2Win with Dave Rose up in the booth. X-Terminator with Marlon Prichard at the controls. Guarding those CPZs will be Sir Killalot and the awesome pincer-saw combo of Dead Metal," analyzed Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. ""Spin2Win having no problem getting underneath and pushing X-Terminator up against the rails where X-Terminator gets to show off that side self-righting mechanism I talked about and is back on his wheels. Spin2Win takes X-Terminator to Sir Killalot now and Sir Killalot will make them feel it but X-Terminator gets away! Spin2Win puts X-Terminator on his back end and up near the rails so those side self-righters aren't going to do any good as Refbot comes to check it out. Spin2Win opens the Pit, probably to give X-Terminator a quick burial to put him out of his misery but Killalot isn't ready for the Pit just yet and gives X-Terminator a little air time with the Flipper. Too bad X-Terminator didn't land back on his wheels when he was up on his rear a few minutes ago because now Dead Metal will be the one for making the burial and it is done," finished Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "X-Terminator not yet living up to its name while Spin2Win does win and moves on. That's it for this edition of Robot Wars. Please tune in next time when we continue the quest for robot glory. Until then, I'm Mick Foley saying "Fight On"," concluded Mick. |
Episode 8 |
"Tonight's Robot Wars features the last of
our eliminators and the start of our Semi Finals. Here's how they line
up with Suicidal Tendencies up against All-Weather Tire Bot now just
Tire Bot, Dominator 2 up against S.A.W. II but first RA up against
Anto," started Stefan. "From the United States, Anto," began Stuart. "Anto in at 122 pounds has a front cutting disk but his wheels are very vulnerable," noted Stefan. "From the United States, RA," continued Stuart. "RA in at 100 pounds has a tire shell and can drive either way but there's no hope for him if he lands on his side," remarked Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Anto with Craig Danby up in the booth. RA with Solomon Spector at the controls. For our House Robots, there's going to be Dead Metal and his pincers and overhead saw. Joinin' Dead Metal will be the tusks and chainsaw of Matilda," added Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Here we go for our first battle as Anto is up on his side which limits his mobility in the arena and RA is taking advantage. Oh no! RA is out of the arena! He slipped right through the arena wall there and that means Anto gets to go through without having to really do much at all," commented Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Anto in the least helpful situation ends up winning the bout and leaving RA out of the arena. Let's go to our second battle," stated Mick. "It's Tire Bot and Suicidal Tendencies," replied Stefan. "From Derby, Suicidal Tendencies," called Stuart. "Suicidal Tendencies in at 210 pounds has a front scoop and a pneumatic crushing beak," analyzed Stefan. "From the United States, Tire Bot," continued Stuart. "Tire Bot in at 102 pounds has a round shell and can self-right but like our first battler RA, this guy can't come back if he's tipped over," noted Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "Suicidal Tendencies with Charles Binns up in the booth. There's Tire Bot controlled by Ryan Porchia. We've got robots in the CPZs like Shunt and the deadly hands of Sir Killalot," added Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Both robots havin' a little bit of a struggle out there but now it looks like Suicidal Tendencies is underneath Tire Bot and pushin' him up against the rails. Tire Bot is lucky to get away but now ST has his crushing beak down, which isn't going to help him grab TB at all but I don't think he can any way but ST has flipped himself over and uses that self-rightin' mechanism to get back on his feet. ST has TB again and this time he's going for the Pit Trigger. Oh no and now TB is on his side! Well we mentioned the weakness of this robot earlier and now Refbot sees another lifeless robot out there and is countin' him down. Shunt now has TB and is setting him up for the Flipper but TB just doesn't want to stay put, whether either of them want to or not but TB gets a tap from the Flipper and is on his head so Shunt lines him up for a little more airtime. This time, TB landed on the other side of the arena and Sir Killalot is going for the burial," reacted Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Suicidal Tendencies' objective was anything but suicide and dumps Tire Bot into the Pit. Let's see who's next," said Mick. "Alright, Mick, we have one more battle left and it's S.A.W. II up against Dominator 2," replied Stefan. "From the United States, S.A.W. II," introduced Stuart. "S.A.W. II in at 110 pounds has a front saw and upper spikes but those tires are wide open to damage," read Stefan. "From Huntington, Dominator 2," said Stuart. "The awesome Dominator 2 in at twice the weight of S.A.W. II at 220 pounds has a front wedge and that powerful axe we know so much about," continued Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Dominator 2 with Paul Tolliday up in the box. S.A.W. II with Korey Kline at the controls. The House Bots in this round will be Sgt Bash and the return of Shunt," explained Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Dominator 2 being the early aggressor here and gets underneath but S.A.W. II has great driving ability and design and gets away. Dominator 2 has him in the clutches and flips him over near Shunt's corner. Maybe Shunt can help him out but S.A.W. II is back on his wheels yet Dominator 2 has him teetering on the edge of the arena! S.A.W. II trying to use his wheels to get out of there but Dominator 2 puts him out of the arena," told Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Dominator 2 dominating the fight and leaving S.A.W. II a forgotten memory. That's all for this edition of Robot Wars. Please tune in next time when another 6 robots settle their lust for domination in the arena. Until then, fight on!" concluded Mick. |

"Welcome to another edition of Robot Wars and
tonight, we're back to regular battles," began Stefan. "Our House Robots have had their fun in our arena against our competitors but now it's back to their corners as we see who will be annihilated next so let's see who we have," added Mick. "Alright, Mick, we're going to see Mauler up against Forklift, Grappler against BULLdozer but first up Alpha Raptor's Revenge up against Quarter Pounder," answered Stefan. "From the United States, Quarter Pounder," called Stuart. "Quarter Pounder in at 210 pounds has a nasty battleaxe for it's weapon," read Stefan. "From the United States, Alpha Raptor's Revenge," continued Stuart. "Alpha Raptor's Revenge in at 112 pounds has not much of a weapon to speak of or a self-righting mechanism so they'd better not get flipped over," analyzed Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Alpha Raptor's Revenge with Chuck Pitzer up in the booth. Quarter Pounder with Patrick Campbell at the controls. With them tonight are our house bots like the hands of Sir Killalot. Or the flames of Sgt Bash," explained Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Here's our first round battle and it looks like it might be over already as Alpha Raptor's Revenge is on his head and there's no way out for him there. Quarter Pounder triggers the Pit and Refbot has a look. This is certainly one of our quickest battles here and Sgt Bash wants to see some air and puts Alpha Raptor's Revenge on the Flipper so let's see how far he goes. Not too far and still upside down as Sir Killalot puts an end to this short battle," commented Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "No revenge for Alpha Raptor's Revenge as he had no time to react before he was flipped over and into the Pit. Let's go back to the board for the next bout," recaped Mick. "Here we go, Mick as it's Mauler up against Forklift," agreed Stefan. "From the United States, Mauler," called Stuart. "Mauler in at 210 pounds is a nasty spinbot," recalled Stefan. "Also from the United States, Forklift," continued Stuart. "Forklift the lightest of the two in at 120 pounds has a rear forklift, which doesn't look that impressive but we'll see," remarked Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "Mauler with Morgan Tilford at the controls. There's Forklift with Gage Cauchois up in the booth. In those CPZs we have Shunt with his axe and major pushin'. Alongside him is Dead Metal and his 3000 RPM saw," added Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "I just hope this battle will be longer than the first one so there's more destruction and it looks like it's going to be that way as both robots are having some trouble getting underneath each other but Mauler gets that spinnin' dome going and tries showing Forklift how to pop a wheelie but Forklift is still upright. Forklift's tryin' tot get underneath with the wedge and Mauler just tears it right off! What power from that weaponry! Luckily, Forklift's still able to move but he's flipped Mauler and himself! Mauler's got a self-righting mechanism on his head so he's back over but Forklift can drive either way up but he's being pushed into the CPZ but it's empty thankfully for Forklift but Forklift could be on the verge of being thrown out of the arena but Mauler can't seem to do it so Forklift is able to get away. The 10 second clock is ticking down and both robots get a final flip as this one is over," noted Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Looks like it's a judges decision and the judges have given it to Mauler, which doesn't surprise me too much even though Forklift had a couple of flips on Mauler," reacted Stefan. "Forklift gets a lift out of the competition. Now there's one more score to settle tonight so let's go to the board," requested Mick. "It's Grappler and BULLdozer," replied Stefan. "From the United States, Grappler," stated Stuart. "Grappler in at 100 pounds has a grabbing arm for a weapon but there's no way back for him if he lands on his head," noted Stefan. "From the United States, BULLdozer," continued Stuart. "BULLdozer in at 121 pounds has a front bulldozer scoop that can lift and push," commented Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Grappler with Alec Aizner at the controls. BULLdozer with Jerome Miles up in the box. For our own robots we have Matilda with her chainsaw. With her is Shunt," added Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "BULLdozer has that scoop and he's using it to lift Grappler into the air but Grappler able to slide off but oh no! Grappler's on his head and as we know, it's over for him and BULLdozer wants to get rid of him and brings him to an unoccupied Corner Patrol Zone and is working to get Grappler out and there he goes," analyzied Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Grappler couldn't get a grip on victory so he's been pushed out of the arena. That's it for this edition. Tune in next time as more robots settle their scores in the arena. Until then, fight on!" concluded Mick. |
Episode 6 |
"Tonight's battles are part of a
special event pitting 3 of our foolish competitors against 3 of our own
House Robots. Let's see who is fighting today. It's the one and only
House Robot Rebellion!" announced Mick. "Here they are it's Plunderbird 5 up against Shunt, Panic Attack up against Matilda but first our champion Chaos 2 up against Dead Metal," agreed Stefan. "From Ipswich, Chaos 2," called Stuart. "Chaos 2 in at 175 pounds has a flipper ramp which has shown some awesome power," analyzed Stefan. "From the House Robots, Dead Metal," continued Stuart. "Our very own Dead Metal with 250 pounds of pincers, saw and utter destruction," remarked Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "Chaos 2 with George Francis up in the booth. There's our own House Robot Dead Metal. There aren't going to be any House Robots for this event since they'll be in the arena for the battles," added Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Here is our first battle in the House Robot Rebellion as Chaos 2 gets right underneath Dead Metal's pincers and shoves him around the arena but Dead Metal gets away. Chaos 2 showing no mercy here as he gets underneath Dead Metal and the two of them end up in an empty CPZ but Dead Metal is still right-side up. Here comes Chaos 2 with another go and oh no Dead Metal is on his side! Well we know no self-righting mechanism for Dead Metal there as his own family member Refbot counts him out while Chaos 2 opens the Pit for the burial and puts him in," reacted Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Dead Metal now just dead in his own grave from the Pit and Chaos 2 are the winners of the first bout. Now let's see who's up next," explained Mick. "Here it is, Mick, Plunderbird 5 up against the diamond-edged axe of Shunt," replied Stefan. "From Hampshire, Plunderbird 5," stated Stuart. "Plunderbird 5 in at 218 lbs has a crushing beak and a front wedge," stated Stefan. "From the House Robots, Shunt," called Stuart. "Our lightest House Robot in at 240 pounds has a front scoop and diamond-edged axe," recalled Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Plunderbird 5 with Mike Onslow at the controls. Our very own Shunt waitin' for some carnage," explained Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Look at the pushin' power of Shunt as he's completely underneath Plunderbird and puts him right up against the rails, flipping him over but the Plunderbird boys have a working self-righting mechanism to get back in this and are shoved by Shunt once again. Well Shunt may be the lightest but he's no lightweight when it comes to pushing and uh-oh, Plunderbird is under Shunt but luckily Shunt got away. Shunt with another flip on Plunderbird but that self-righter working wonders for Plunderbird as they're still alive but wait a minute, Shunt has flipped them onto their side! We know there's no way out for Plunderbird there so Shunt has won this time and is proceeding to put them on the flipper as they've been counted out by Refbot and are tossed back onto their wheels but it's too late for them now as Shunt performs a burial," commented Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Plunderbird makes a blunder and ends up in the Pit of doom, making Shunt the winner of battle 2. We still have one more challenger and one more House Robot to try and make them sorry so let's find out who they are," recalled Mick. "It's Panic Attack up against Matilda," answered Stefan. "From Whales, Panic Attack," called Stuart. "Panic Attack in at 211 pounds has rammin' spikes and side skirts," analyzed Stefan. "From the House Robots, Matilda," stated Stuart. "Matilda in at 256 pounds with lifting tusks and a rear chainsaw," remembered Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "Panic Attack with Kim Davies up in the booth. There's our matriarch of mayhem Matilda," told Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Both robots havin' a hard time getting underneath since Panic Attack doesn't have his lifting forks to help him out and Matilda's tusks aren't very long but manage to get underneath and flip Panic Attack over but Panic Attack using that righting mechanism is back over and the two of them are back to frontal stalemates as I'll be calling them here and Panic Attack has been flipped again! Maybe Matilda will be the winner of this one. Oh no! Matilda is on her side! Wow, how unfortunate for the House Robots' only female to go out and here comes Refbot to count her out. Panic Attack meanwhile opens the Pit and we all know who the visitor will be, Matilda and down she goes," shouted Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Our Matriarch suffering a Mistake to get flipped onto her side and pitted, leaving Panic Attack the winners! Join us next time when we return to our regular tournament with another 6 robots. Until then, fight on!" finished Mick. |
Episode 5 |
"Welcome to another episode of Robot Wars and
last time, you would've seen Dominator 2 take out Wheely Big Cheese and
Firestorm IV narrowly escape over Tornado," began Stefan. "The robots are ready to rumble so let's see what we have this week," requested Mick. "Alright, Mick, we have Mega Morg against Mauler II, Bender up against Angler but first Wild Thing against Hypno Disc," answered Stefan. "From Ash in Hampshire, Wild Thing," introduced Stuart. "Wild Thing in at 220 pounds has a 6000 RPM disc or so they say and a mini flipper to help turn themselves back over or their opponents completely over," read Stefan. "From Middleton Cheney, Hypno Disc," called Stuart. "The awesome Hypno Disc also in at 220 pounds has that rotary disk that's been locked down but no srimech if flipped over," stated Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "Wild Thing with Nick Adams in the booth. There's Hypno Disc with Dave Rose at the controls. We can't forget the House Robots and for this bout it'll be Dead Metal with his pincers and saw. Plus the nasty Sir Killalot," continued Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Here we go with round 1 as both robots havin' a hard time getting underneath each other but there's some good hits going on. Wild Thing finally getting underneath Hypno Disc but Hypno Disc able to slide off and get away. Oh Hypno Disk nearly on their side there as Wild Thing got underneath them again. Hypno Disc has been lucky so far but uh-oh, both robots are immobilized it looks like. We know HD can't right from his topside and Wild Thing is on his side! Wow so both robots will need to be righted since we otherwise have no fight. There they go, back in this fight and straight away, Wild Thing flips Hypno Disc! It's all over for them I'm afraid and what a way to go as this was a rematch from Series 4 when Hypno Disc went through doing sufficient damage. Wild Thing opens the Pit and we know who is going inside it. Killalot puts Hypno Disc on the flipper and oh it made a hole in one! Didn't know the flipper was such a good golfer," remarked Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Wild Thing certainly made Hypno Disc's heart stop rather than sing and moves through. Let's see who's up next," continued Mick. "Alright, Mick, its Mega Morg up against Mauler II," answered Stefan. "From Panduit in Swansea, Mega Morg," stated Stuart. "Mega Morg in at 218 pounds has a front lifter but it's real slow and no srimech," analyzed Stefan. "From the United States, Mauler II," called Stuart. "The awesome Mauler II in at 210 pounds has spinnin' dome as its weapon," said Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "Mauler 5150 with Morgan Tilford up in the booth. There's Mega Morg with Dorian Caudy at the controls. With them is our House Robots and first will be Shunt and his diamond-edged axe. Joinin' him will be the flamethrower of Sgt Bash," added Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Here we go for our second bout as both robots havin' a hard time getting underneath but eventually Mega Morg finds it but Mauler gets away. This could be a tough bout for the two of them but Mega Morg seems to have his lifer caught underneath the spinnin' dome of Mauler II and puts Mauler II underneath the rails. Mauler now looks to be stuck there but again able to get away. The Mauler team really hasn't shown anything thus far except their ability to get away from danger but they just rolled right into Mega Morg's weapon again and are pushed back up against the rails. Oh no! Mega Morg went into Shunt's CPZ, which is fair game for Shunt to attack and Mega Morg is on his side! Well they have no self-righting mechanism there so Mauler gets to move through without having to do much of anything except maybe breathing a sigh of relief. Refbot knows there's no hope for Mega Morg now and counts him down. Sgt Bash has opened the Pit and it's time for a morgue as Shunt puts the lifeless Mega Morg into the Pit," reacted Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "No mauling for Mauler II but plenty of misfortune for the Mega Morg, who is out of there, Let's find out what our last bout is," recaped Mick. "It's Angler up against Bender," replied Stefan. "From the United States, Angler," announced Stuart. "Angler in at 210 pounds has a locked lifting arm and really low side skirts," explained Stefan. "Also from the United States, Bender," continued Stuart. "Bender also in at 210 pounds has a locked blade, which I don't think will do anything but we'll see," remarked Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Bender with Eric Stoliker at the controls. Angler with Carlo Bertoccini up in the booth. We still have our House Robots and for this bout, it'll be our matriarch of mayhem, Matilda. With her is Sir Killalot," added Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "This bout is startin' off like our last one as neither one is able to get underneath the design of the other. Angler manages to get underneath Bender from his back end, literally but Bender is able to get away. This bout could go all the way as once again both robots are having trouble getting underneath their opponent's. They both must be well designed to have this happen twice in one match. Bender gets a little air from Angler. Not sure how that happened but now we have both robots immobilized. Bender should be able to self-right but it's not workin' so we'll have to right them. There they go and Angler is on his back! What a shame as they were doing so well in this bout and Bender gets to basically get off scott free. Killalot brings the Pit and that's where Angler's going very shortly after a little air from the Flipper and he nearly went out of the arena! Could've made a goal if there were football goal posts in the arena but Bender puts Angler in the hole," commented Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Angler simply didn't have an angle of attack that could defeat Bender and got kicked out of the competition. That's all for this edition. Tune in next time when 6 more robots fight for glory. Until then, fight on!" concluded Mick. |
Episode 4 |
"It's time for Robot Wars and another 6
robots have some battles to get off of their chests and here they are.
Panic Attack up against Dominator 2, Tornado up against Firestorm but
first Wheely Big Cheese against Swinging Knife," began Stefan. "From Langport, Wheely Big Cheese," stated Stuart. "Wheely Big Cheese in at 218 pounds has a massive flipper that's been locked down for this version and giant wheels," noted Stefan. "From the United States, Swinging Knife," continued Stuart. "Swinging Knife in at 208 pounds has a front wedge and that lethal knife it's known for," analyzed Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "Wheely Big Cheese with Roger Plant in the booth. There's Swinging Knife with Christian Carlberg at the controls. They aren't alone in the arena for we have House Robots and they are Shunt with the axe and scoop and the matriarch of mayhem, Matilda," added Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "So here we go for the first bout as Swinging Knife totally misses Wheely Big Cheese and is now stuck under the rails! Wow, poor driving there but he's luckily able to get away. Wheely Big Cheese now being pushed around and flipped over but he has a self-righting mechanism to get back over. Swinging Knife is now virtually impossible to flip over as he's very low to the ground but his weapon can't properly operate, at least the rear one can't as he's usin' the front wedge very effectively to flip Wheely Big Cheese over and over. Not much Wheely Big Cheese can do at this point I don't think and definitely not now as he's out of the arena," stated Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Swinging Knife, a swing and a miss, then a home run as he takes Wheely Big Cheese back to the bakery. Let's see who's up next," recaped Mick. "Alright, Mick, it's Tornado up against Firestorm IV," replied Stefan. "From Huntington, Tornado," called Stuart. "Tornado in at 172 pounds has a nasty spinnin blade at the front and a self-righting mechanism for this version," read Stefan. "From Durham, Firestorm IV," continued Stuart. "Firestorm IV in at 220 pounds has a front flipper, or more of a wedge for this one," remarked Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. SF: There's Firestorm IV with Graham Bone on at the controls. There's Tornado with Andrew Marchant in the booth. Joinin' them will be the deadly Sir Killalot and the flamethrower of Sgt Bash. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Here's the start of our second round as Firestorm gets underneath Tornado and shows him who's boss. Tornado doesn't seem to have any way of getting underneath Firestorm and is just being dominated so far. Tornado flipped over but he's got a self-righting mechanism and he uses it. Firestorm brings Tornado to Sir Killalot but Andrew Marchant's good driving lets Tornado escape but it's not enough for Firestorm as he flips Tornado again, then activates the Pit, which means someone's going down. Firestorm moving around the Pit, perhaps trying to lure Tornado in but he manages to get underneath Tornado and both robots fall in! We'll have to see what the judges say," reacted Stefan. "Both robots were in the Pit so we'll have to wait for the judges decison to see who goes through. The judges result is in and they allow Firestorm IV to move on because Tornado fell in first. Things are just getting good in here tonight so let's see the final match up tonight," explained Mick. "It's Dominator 2 up against Panic Attack," answered Stefan. "From Huntington, Dominator 2," announced Stuart. "Dominator 2 with that axe, weighs in at 220 pounds and has a front wedge to boot," read Stefan. "From Whales, Panic Attack," continued Stuart. "Panic Attack in at 216 pounds has side skirts and locked front weaponry," analyzied Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Panic Attack with Kim Davies at the controls. Dominator 2 with Paul Tolliday up in the box. The House Bots for this battle will be Dead Metal and his pincers. With him is Shunt," explained Stefan. "3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Dominator 2 having no problem whatsoever getting underneath Panic Attack but Panic Attack slips to the side. Dominator 2 flips Panic Attack but Panic Attack has a way to get back over with that self-righting mechanism. Uh-oh, Panic Attack is on his back end and in a bad spot, right where Shunt's CPZ is! Dominator 2 going after Shunt with his own axe and while that isn't a good idea, Dominator clearly has the advantage in pushin' power. Dominator activates the Pit and we all know who's going in. Shunt with the burial and nearly falls in himself!" reacted Stefan. "CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "That's it for this edition of Robot Wars. Join us next time when more robots duke it out for glory. Until then, fight on!" concluded Mick. |
Episode 3 |
"We're chock full of robots ready to tear their competition apart and we're ready to have carnage so let's get our pairings," began Mick.
" Here we go, Mick with Pussycat against X-Terminator 2, Spin2Win up against Gemini but first Lifter against Razor," answered Stefan. "From the United States, Lifter," introduced Stuart. "It's Lifter in at 210 pounds and it's got a liftin' arm and some side skirts. Should be tough to beat," read Stefan.
"From Bournemouth, Razor," continued Stuart. "The awesome Razor in at 207 pounds has a powerful crushing arm that should do some major damage and a srimech with those wings," noted Stefan.
"Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Razor with Ian Lewis up in the booth. There's Lifter with Carlo Bertoccini at the controls. Joinin' our first 2 competitors is the deadly pincers of Dead Metal and the out of control Matilda," continued Stefan.
"3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "So here's the bout for round 1 is underway as Lifter tosses Razor onto his side but Razor has those handy self-rightin' wings to get himself back over. Razor's trying to get underneath but it's Lifter that's having no problem getting underneath and flips Razor again! Wow, Razor not having any sort of luck today and is now up on the arena side wall as Lifter's tryin' to throw him out but luckily for Razor, he ends up knocking him free from the wall. Oh no! Razor's on top of there again and Refbot havin' a look and now Razor's free again, courtesy of Refbot. Lifter putting Razor on top of the wall once more and Razor is out of there," reacted Stefan.
"CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Lifter having no problem throwing Razor out of the competition. Let's see who's up next,"recaped Mick. SF: Alright, Mick, it's Spin2Win up against Gemini," answered Stefan. "From East Sussex, Gemini," announced Stuart. "Gemini, previously a cluster bot but has decided to literally stick together but still has those liftin' arms," stated Stefan.
"From the United States, Spin2Win," called Stuart. "A wedge robot that can run either way but it could be in trouble if those wheels are damaged," said Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Spin2Win with Dave Rose in the booth. Gemini with Shane Howard at the controls. In those CPZs will be Sgt Bash with his flame thrower and the deadly arms of Sir Killalot," added Stefan.
"3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Here we go for the start of round 2 with Spin2Win underneath Gemini and pushin' them around. Wow, guess 2 really isn't better than one in this bout. Gemini, tryin' to use one of their two flippin' arms but they don't appear to have the strength as Spin2Win pushes Gemini into Killalot's CPZ but Killalot is havin' some trouble getting out of there and when he does, he goes after Spin2Win! Gemini is just sneaking out the back door but Spin2Win is now up against the rails but with Gemini's flippers, I don't see Spin2Win on his way out and Spin2Win puts Gemini on his side! Refbot having a check and the ten second countdown is right behind them. It's all over, right before the buzzer with Spin2Win moving through," remarked Stefan.
"CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Spin2Win didn't do any spinnin' but did a whole lot of winnin' and moves through. Now it's time for our last match-up," requested Mick. "You got it, Mick with Pussycat against X-Terminator," agreed Stefan. "From Gloucester, Pussycat," stated Stuart. "The cat robot that always lands with some form of mobility and a lethal blade to boot," read Stefan. "From Belmont, X-Terminator 2," continued Stuart. "X-Terminator with a flippin' arm and front scoop," noted Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "Pussycat with Alan Gribble at the controls. There's X-Terminator with Marlon Prichard up in the booth. Lurking in those Corner Patrol Zones will be the immense pushin' power of Shunt and the mistress of mayhem, Matilda," told Stefan.
"3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "This is our final battle tonight and X-Terminator is pushing Pussycat around. Pussycat has some pretty high ground clearance for X-Terminator to reach. X-Terminator flipping Pussycat but Pussycat has a srimech since this is a different model of the robot. X-Terminator with another flip and then takes Pussycat to Shunt but Shunt pushes Pussycat out of the arena. Bet he didn't mean to do that but X-Terminator nearly going in with Shunt himself but puts Pussycat there again and Shunt is going to do some damage and pushes Pussycat right out of the arena!" remarked Stefan.
"CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "X-Terminator living up to his name to kick Pussycat out of the competition. Join us next time when another 6 robots fight it out as the competition continues. Until then, fight on!" concluded Mick. |
Episode 2 |
"This is Robot Wars and we've got another 6 robots hungry for annihilation. Let's go to the board and see who we have lined up," began Mick.
"You got it, Mick. Tonight's matches pit Cannible against S.A.W. II, Anto 2 against Your Worst Knightmare but first up Wheelchair Bot V Carnage N Destruction," replied Stefan.
"From the United States, Wheelchair Bot," introduced Stuart. "Wheelchair Bot in at 145 pounds has a front wedge and can run either way up," analyzed Stefan. "From the United States, Carnage N Destruction," continued Stuart. "The strange lookin' Carnage N Destruction. It's got a spinnin' blade and a wedge at the front, runs upside down but it's pretty high off the ground," noted Stefan.
"Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Wheelchair Bot with Christian Carlberg at the controls And Carnage N Destruction with Robert Marzinskie in the booth. The House Bots for this bout will be Dead Metal and his pincers. Joinin' him will be the sometimes out of control Matilda," added Stefan.
"3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "So here we go for the first bout and Wheelchair Bot gets underneath Carnage N Destruction, who doesn't appear to have any mobility at the moment. Wheelchair Bot just kinda pushing his opponent around and somehow CND has some movement! Their design doesn't appear to be doing to well here as Wheelchair Bot is underneath the front of CND and throws him right out of the arena!" exclaimed Stefan.
"CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Carnage and Destruction faced self-destruction right out of the tournament. Let's see our next pairing," recaped Mick. "Alright, Mick, it's Anto 2 vs Your Worst Knightmare," answered Stefan. "From the United States, Anto 2," began Stuart. "Anto 2 in at 122 pounds has a really small body and looks to be a rammin' bot but we'll have to see," read Stefan.
" From the United States, Your Worst Knightmare," continued Stuart. "Your Worst Knightmare's got some mean-lookin' blades at the front and can run upside down. Looks like it might be the one to watch here," remarked Stefan.
"Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "Anto 2 with Craig up there in the booth. There's Your Worst Knightmare with Jim Smentowski in the box. Here's the House bots for this round: The deadly Sir Killalot and the immense pushin' power of Shunt," added Stefan.
"3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Anto 2 straight underneath Your Worst Knightmare and might actually put him out of the arena but Your Worst Knightmare gets a break and a getaway. YWK has to constantly adjust his weapon support as it's pretty low and useless if it's at the wrong height but it doesn't seem to be too effective at all as Anto 2 is just pushing him all over the arena and oh no, Your Worst Knightmare has backed up with his wheels hangin' over the rails and is pushed out!" reacted Stefan.
"CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Your Worst Knightmare had his nightmare of defeat come true as Anto 2 kicks him out of the competition. Let's go to the battle board and see who's next," requested Mick.
"Here it is, Mick: Cannible and S.A.W. II," confirmed Stefan. "From the United States, Cannible," introduced Stuart. "Cannible in at 115 pounds has a front wedge and rear spike and can also run either way," read Stefan. "From the United States, S.A.W. II," continued Stuart. " It's got a vicious blade at the front and has a srimech but those wheels are out in the open," noted Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "Cannible with Ilya Polyakov at the controls. S.A.W. II with Korey Kline up in the booth. With our competitors are the House Robots and they are Sgt Bash with his flamethrower. Joinin' Bash is his buddy Shunt," analyzed Stefan.
"3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Both robots look pretty even to me thus far as neither one seeming to get underneath at all. Wait a minute, somehow S.A.W. II has Cannible up on one wheel and has parked him on top of the arena wall, just over the border of Shunt's CPZ! This would be a shame to have Cannible go out as he looked like the more formidable of the two robots. Here comes Refbot to have a look and Cannible is just spinnin his wheels while S.A.W. II can't seem to get Cannible out of the arena. The House Robots know what time it is now and they activate the Pit. Shunt puts Cannible in the hole," told Stefan.
"CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "That's it for this week on Robot Wars. Join us next time when more robots fight for the quest in robotic glory. Until then, fight on!" concluded Mick. |
Episode 1 |
"Welcome to Robot Wars and tonight, 6 robots are looking hungry for a plate of annihilation so let's go to the battle board to see tonight's line-up," started Mick.
"Alright, Mick, we're going to see Bender vs Suicidal Tendencies, Punjar up against Plunderbird 5 but first up Chaos 2 against Blendo," elaborated Stefan.
"From Ipswich, Chaos 2," announced Stuart. "Here's the champ from last season Chaos 2 in at 175 lbs has a powerful flipper but if the CO2 runs out, it's history," explained Stefan. "From the United States, Blendo," announced Stuart. "A spinbot in at 210 pounds, Blendo has some mean lookin' teeth to boot," analyzed Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Chaos 2 with George Francis at the controls. Blendo with Jamie Hyneman at the controls. The House bots join' us for this bout will be Shunt and with him, Dead Metal," continued Stefan.
"3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "So here we go for the first round as Blendo gets underneath Chaos 2 and brings him to the rails but can't seem to finish him off there. Chaos 2, really too high off the ground to really get underneath the shell of Blendo. Blendo is underneath him again and brings him to the other wall. Wow, Chaos 2 really has his hands or wheels full in this one. Both bots have slammed into the Pit trigger and that means the Pit is goin' down along with one of these two competitors. Uh-oh, Blendo's underneath Chaos again and he might just go into the hole but what a break for Chaos 2 as he just manages to escape a burial. Chaos isn't having his way at all and oh no, Blendo's in the Pit! What a shame for them as they were in complete control there," commented Stefan.
"CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Well Chaos 2 almost suffered Chaos himself but manages to get Blendo to the Pit of Doom. Let's see who we have next," requested Mick. "Alright, Mick next up is Punjar against Plunderbird 5," replied Stefan. "From the United States, Punjar," announced Stuart. "Punjar in at 210 lbs has a scoop at the front to do some major pushin' power," explained Stefan. "From Hampshire, Plunderbird 5," announced Stuart. "Here's Plunderbird 5 in at 218 lbs has a crushing beak and a front wedge," observed Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. "There's Punjar with Ramiro Mallari at the controls. Plunderbird 5 with Mike Onslow at the controls. Joinin' them will be Sir Killalot and the matriarch of mayhem, Matilda," added Stefan.
"3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Punjar immediately gets underneath Plunderbird 5 and slams him into the rails. There's some major shovin' power with that scoop. P5 is trying to find a way underneath but no way that's gonna happen with Punjar's low center of gravity and front scoop and he is flipped over. P5 has a self-righting mechanism and he'd better use it if he knows what's good for him and he does. Punjar underneath P5 again and bringing him to a CPZ or Corner Patrol Zone but luckily for P5 there's no one at home but Punjar and unfortunately, P5 is up against the rails as Refbot comes to scope the situation. Looks like there was a bit of the self-righting mechanism of P5 on the arena wall that allowed him to self-right but Punjar flips him back over and it looks to be all over for the P5 boys. Refbot begins the countdown and it's all over for P5. The House Bots are going to make P5 feel defeat as they open the Pit and get P5 set up for a little air time on the Flipper. Ho-ho, I guess Plunderbirds don't fly too well. Punjar has the final shove into the Pit," told Stefan.
"CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "Plunderbird couldn't fly his way to victory and gets sent to the Pit while Punjar presses on to a later bout. Now it's time to see who battles next," summarised Mick.
"Alright, Mick it's the last bout tonight between Bender and Suicidal Tendencies," answered Stefan. "From the United States, Bender," announced Stuart. "Here's Bender in at 210 lbs with a big spinnin' blade on top. We'll have to wait to see what that can do," began Stefan.
"From Derby, Suicidal Tendencies," announced Stuart. "Suicidal Tendencies in at 210 pounds has a front scoop and crushing claw," analyzied Stefan. "Roboteers, standby," requested Stuart. SF: There's Suicidal Tendencies with Charles Binns at the controls. Bender with Eric Stoliker at the controls. The House Robots for this 3rd round will be Sgt Bash and his flame thrower. Joinin' Bash will be Shunt.
"3! 2! 1! ACTIVATE!" stated Stuart. "Both robots look pretty evenly matched from up here as neither one seems to have a good shot at getting underneath but wait a minute, Suicidal Tendencies is underneath Bender and flips him over! Bender has a self-righting mechanism on his head and he literally uses his head to get back on to his wheels. Seems pretty even in the arena again but Suicidal Tendencies has flipped Bender once more but Bender is back over real quick. Now Bender is up on his back end! There's no way down from there I'm afraid. Here comes Refbot to have a look and Bender is just motionless out there. The 10-second countdown has ended and here come the House Bots. Suicidal Tendencies is tryin' to help them out by opening the Pit and Bash pushes Bender ever closer to the Pit but nearly falls in himself. Shunt now has a go and also nearly falls in but finally, Bender is in the hole," stated Stefan.
"CEASE!" ordered Stuart. "No suicide for Suicidal Tendencies and Bender wasn't bent but got tossed all over the arena and into the Pit. Join us next time as six more robots battle it out for a place in the semi-finals. Until next time, this is Mick Foley saying "Fight On"," concluded Mick. |
