Battlebots Deluxe Metal Mechanics Toy Review

Minion and Deadblow
This set is pretty good but has some big drawbacks. For one, its roughly $40 to build one of the two kits. Second, because it's only one kit, you cannot put the second one completely together and you are limited on parts. Third and finally, The wheels the box comes with only match Minion's at most. When the kits are together, however, the weapons don't serve much except being for show since every time they contact anything, they stop. One final note is that with the box, it's Minion vs Deadblow, two robots that never EVER fought in the same bout as they were two completely different weight classes.

The box should've had two robots that either fought against one another or are at least in the same weight class. It could be Minion and Diesector (who btw DID fight against each other in a demo bout) or perhaps Deadblow and Hazard (who fought in the Middleweight Finals of Season 1.) It could even be two different robots not yet made into anything like Hazard and T-Minus. I know popularity must play a role but at least find two robots that are popular and in the same weight class. Based on the Battle Bashers and Grip N' Grapplers lines, why not have one of them fit here? Atomic Wedgie and Minion? What about Grendel and Diesector? El Diablo and Bad Attitude? Anyway, that's my complete review on this toy.
