Normal Spell
Special Summon any number of “Valkyrie” monsters with different names from your hand. If you Special Summoned 3 or more monsters with this effect, you take no battle damage until the end of the next turn. During the End Phase of the turn you activated this card, shuffle all monsters you control into the Deck. You can banish this card from your GY; add 1 “Mischief of the Time Goddess” from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of “Ride of the Valkyries” once per turn.

Comments: We can't bring out multiple copies of the same Valkyrie like Zigfried did so this does lose a bit of playability but this has an extra perk that the original card did not (that we know of anyway). Plus, once it's been played and in the Grave, you can get Mischief of the Time Goddess and render the main side-effect of this card moot.

WIND / Fairy-Type Union / Level 6 / ATK 1000 / DEF 2000
(This card is also always treated as a “Valkyrie” card.)
Once per turn, you can either: Target 1 Fairy monster you control; equip this card to that target, OR: Unequip this card and Special Summon it. If the equipped monster would be destroyed by battle or card effect, destroy this card instead. The equipped monster can attack directly, but when it does so using this effect, the battle damage inflicted to your opponent is halved.

Comments: While not very strong, Valhalla can bring it out more easily and then you'll be able to play another Valkyrie and make use of the effect. Still, attacking directly means it only deals half the damage.

LIGHT / Fairy / Level 7 / ATK 1800 / DEF 2000
Unaffected by your opponent’s Spell effects. Gains 500 ATK for each monster your opponent controls. When an opponent’s monster declares an attack: You can have this card lose exactly 1000 DEF, and if you do, your “Valkyrie” monsters cannot be destroyed by battle this turn.

Comments: While your opponent's Spell effects can't do anything to it and it gains 500 ATK for each of their monsters, it's not very strong and preventing destruction in battle costs it 1000 DEF, which it will generally only be able to do twice. Plus, unless those monsters are in Defense Mode or The Sanctuary in the Sky is in play, you'll probably be taking some damage anyway.

If this card is Special Summoned from your hand by a Spell effect: You can target 1 “Mischief of the Time Goddess” in your GY; add it to your hand. If you control a “Valkyrie” monster other than “Valkyrie Erste” (Quick Effect): You can banish 1 monster from your opponent’s GY, then this card’s ATK becomes equal to the banished monster’s original ATK until the end of this turn. You can only use each effect of “Valkyrie Erste” once per turn.

Comments: Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen is an obvious choice to use with this as it was designed to support high-level Fairy-Type monsters and it's a Spell Card included in this set. Plus, it gets a pretty decent Spell Card that has been either lost or used up previously. The ATK change effect isn't too bad either but requires you to have another differently named Valkyrie monster out and doesn't keep it for long.

If this card is Summoned: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; destroy it. After damage calculation, if this card battled: You can target 1 Continuous Spell in your GY; add it to your hand. You can only use each effect of “Valkyrie Zweite” once per turn.

Comments: With only 1600 ATK and DEF for a Level 5 monster and pretty poor effects, it's just not worth the effort, even with Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen.

If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 “Valkyrie” card from your Deck to your hand, except "Valkyrie Dritte". You can only use this effect of "Valkyrie Dritte" once per turn. Gains 200 ATK for each of your opponent’s banished monsters.

Comments: It's a bit more work than Effect Veiler, which already has pretty much the same effect, but can do it each turn and doesn't take as much effort as other Link Monsters. Plus it can make itself become twice as strong during either player's turn, so long as you can Tribute a monster each time you want to use the effect.

Comments: Well it goes further than Fusilier Dragon the Dual-Mode Beast but not by much, mostly because it has more effects.

Comments: It doesn't care how it leaves the field but it'll cost you an extra monster just to use the effect and without any other effects, it's still not very good.

Comments: Not much better than Garbage Collector, both in DEF and other properties, but it's also not worse.
