Episode 130: Fists of Fury (2)
At the duel, Astral has realized how to beat Alito and it starts with the very things Don Thousand has said. As a bonus, Astral recalls what Yuma's father wanted Yuma to do, even if that meant freeing Don Thousand. Yuma's dad needed help and Astral theorizes that they must beat the Barians' numbers with their own Number Cards. They need to beat Number C105: Battlin' Boxer Comet Cestus with Number 54: Lion Heart but are short one monster so it's up to Yuma's next draw. Yuma draws and plays Rainbow Kuriboh (100) in Attack Mode, then uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 54: Lion Heart (100) in Attack Mode. Alito remembers Lion Heart and recalls more of his past, including a turning point where he's arrested for treason. Just as the mysterious robed man Alito saw earlier predicted, Alito's friends betray him, no longer considering him the hero they looked up to.
Back at the duel, Alito collapses from the resulting flashback, leaving Astral to realize that it's Number 54's doing that has caused it. It's enough proof for Yuma to realize that a single attack on Comet Cestus could be what they need. With that, Yuma attacks Comet Cestus wtih Lion Heart, then activates Lion Heart's effect to deal both of them the Battle Damage. However, Alito activates Rhapsody in Berserk's other effect to send itself while equipped and halve the damage. As a result, Comet Cestus' ATK drops to 2800 while Alito and Yumas' scores drop to 2050 and 0 respectively. Luckily, Astral activates Lion Heart's other effect to make Yuma's LPs 100 since their LPs hit 0. (The real card doesn't have this effect.) The hit is enough to cause Don Thousand's power over Alito to fade, leaving Don Thousnad to release his grip on Alito and returning Alito to normal. As a thanks, Alito frees Tori and brings her gently to the ground.
Alito gets caught up on what happened but still wants to finish their duel. With that, Alito draws and activates Number 80's additional effect to revive itself (0000) in Attack Mode by discarding a monster from his hand. (The real card doesn't have this effect.) Next he uses Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force to use Number 80 as Xyz Mateiral for Chaos Number 80: Requiem in Berserk (Number C80: Requium in Berserk in the CG) (0000) in Attack Mode. Worse still, Barian's Force not only takes Lion Heart's Xyz Materials and adds them to Requiem in Berserk but Lion Heart loses 300 ATK for each Xyz Material it lost, leaving it with 0 ATK. Furthermore, Alito uses its other effect to detach an Xyz Material from itself and remove from play all Spell and Trap Cards Yuma has on the field. (The real card can only remove from play 1 card on the field at a time.)
Finally, Alito uses Requiem in Berserk's 3rd effect to equip itself to Comet Cestus and give it 2000 ATK to 4800. As a bonus, Requiem in Berserk also negates the effects of the monster it battles with, leaving Yuma vulnerable. (The real card doesn't have this effect either.) His attack forces Yuma to activate Dimensional U-Turn to remove from play Lion Heart. Since a replay occured, Alito makes his attack a direct attack so Yuma Special Summons Rainbow Kuriboh from the Graveyard in Defense Mode but it's removed from play since it was Summoned by this effect. Alito's attack takes it out but Alito has nothing more to do so he ends his turn, giving Yuma Lion Heart back by DUT's effect. It's now clear wly Don Thousand wanted Alito. Alito still fights like crazy. However, this leaves Astral puzzled as it's unlikely that they would willingly give up being heroes to join Don Thousand.
It isn't long before Astral realizes they were tricked into joining and fills Yuma in but it's not what Yuma had in mind at all. They have one shot left so Yuma draws and equips Lion Heart with Emperor's Armor, making its ATK equal to its attack target when it battles. Yuma attacks but Alito is ready and uses Requiem in Berserk's effect to send itself and prevent Comet Cestus' destruction in battle, bringing its ATK down to normal. Yuma is also ready and does the same thing with EA's effect, sending itself to the Graveyard to prevent Lion Heart's destruction in battle, returning Lion Heart's ATK to normal. However, EA's other effect switches the battling monsters' ATKs and lets Lion Heart attack again. The attack triggers more memories and we see the human form of Don Thousand (thanks to the name being revealed when brought up when Alito was being judged).
It's also the very point where Don Thousand takes hold of Alito and changes his memories before giving him Lion Heart. Alito's memories come back just in time for his loss to Yuma. As a result, he's returned to normal and dazed to recall all the memories Don Thousand took away. Alito comes to and blames himself for what was done but Don Thousand is really to blame for tricking him and manipulating his memories for his own goals. Alito is willing to help Yuma defeat Don Thousand but still wants to defeat Yuma in a duel so they plan on defeating Don Thousand first. All they need to do is find Vector in Barian World and they'll be led straight to Don Thousand. Vector makes his way to Barian World just before Marin and Dumon arrive but the duo isn't happy to learn that Vector wants their powers for Don Thousand's sake.
