Episode 131: Power Play | |
We find Nash coming to and taking a bit to recall how he got in his
situation thanks to Girag but that still doesn't answer why Girag would
attack him in the first place. What's more, he briings up a screen that
shows Dumon and Marin in their duel against Vector where Don Thousand
makes himself known and reveals a plot to take Marin and Dumons' powers
before retreating back inside Vector, whom becomes his Barian self.
Worse still, none of the other Barians can help Dumon or Marin as
they've either been brainwashed by Vector himself or joined forces with
Yuma. Vector has had enough chatting with them so duel preparations get
underway for their battle royale Duel. As Yuma and the others approach
the portal to Barian World, Vector is still confident he'll win and
draws before playing Don Thousand's Throne,
which he morphs himself into. It's not clear what Vector has become but Vector continues his turn by Special Summon 2 Umbral Horror Ghosts (200 x2) in Attack Mode by one of the two's effects. Next, he Normal Summons Umbral Horror Will 'o the Wisp (0000) in Attack Mode and uses its effect to make its Level the Level of the two Ghosts, making it Level 2. (The real UHG prevents you from Normal Summoning the turn the effect is used.) With that done, Vector uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 96: Dark Mist (100) in Attack Mode, considering it the fun Astral but Marin was certain it was destroyed. Vector protests otherwise, explaining that it was nearly beaten but he'd taken what was left and improved it. Vector sets 1 card to end his turn and Marin is confident she knows exactly what to do. Marin draws and plays Blizzard Thunderbird (1600) in Attack Mode. Next she activates Blizzard Vision to Special Summon it as a second copy of BT with 0 ATK. Now she uses her monsters as Xyz Material for Number 103: Ragnazero (2400) in Attack Mode. Vector jokingly calls the monster cute before Marin sets 1 card to end his turn. Dumon is up next and is determined to make Vector pay by drawing and playing Star Seraph Scout (1200) in Attack Mode. Due to Seraph Scout's effect, Dumon Special Summons Star Seraph Sage (1600) in Attack Mode. After that, he uses Seraph Sage's effect to discard 1 Spell Card to Special Summon Star Seraph Sword (1400) in Attack Mode. Now, he uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 102: Star Seraph Sentry (2500) in Attack Mode. With that done, Dumon activates Sentry's effect to detach an Xyz Material from itself and not only negate Dark Mist's effects but halve Dark Mist's ATK to 50. It's not enough to make Vector afraid so Marin activates Number 103's effect to detach an Xyz Material from itself and destroy Dark Mist since its ATK changed. Furthermore, Dumon activates Star Seraph Starscream to deal Vector 1000 damage since Vector's monster was destroyed, leaving Vector down to 3000 LPs. Marin follows up with Ragnazero's effect again to draw 1 card since Ragnazero destroyed a monster with the effect. Dumon proceeds to sets 1 card but Vector activates Nightmare Xyz to use the 3 DARK monsters in his Graveyard, altering Levels where necessary to Xyz Summon Number 43: Manipulator of Souls (0000) in Attack Mode. Due to Number 43's effect, Vector equips it with Dark Mist from the Graveyard. What's more is that thanks to Don Thousand's Throne, he regains LPs equal to the damage he took, bringing his score back up to 4000 and draining Nash of energy. Worse still, since Vector gained LPs, Number 43 gains that amount of ATK, raising its ATK to 1000 and dealing Marin 1000 damage, leaving her down to 3000 LPs. Marin assures she's fine and Vector hopes so but Dumon realizes that although Vector regains LPs each turn, they just have to wipe out his LPs in a single turn. (The real card only gives you LPs during your opponent's End Phases equal to the number of times you took damage x 500.) Vector isn't convinced they'll succeed and draws before attacking with Number 43, leaving him down to 2500 LPs but Number 43 stays on the field as it's equipped with a Number monster. Furthermore, this lets Vector activate Card of Endurance to take 1000 damage, then draw 1 card, leaving him down to 1500 LPs. Vector considers it a worthy price to pay and sets 2 cards to end his turn, leaving his score to rise back to 4000 by DTT's effect, leaving Nash drained of more energy. As a bonus, the 2500 LP gain also means Number 43 gains 2500 more ATK to 3500. Vector decides to make Marin take the 2500 damage, leaving Marin down to just 500 LPs but Nash yells out in agony. It was Vector that made Marin vanish from existance once before and thus can do it again but since Marin doesn't remember, Vector shows it as a refersher, where Nash ends up managing to follow Marin into the abyss Vector made with his Giant Sky Sword Trap. The duo find themselves underwater where Abyss is waiting and ready to restore their lives with new bodies and reside in the human world. That's what they do and the doctors are stunned. Back at the duel, Marin has regained those memories but Vector admits to how much he hated Nash from the very beginning and was the one to ensnare Nash to where he is. While Marin lashes out at Vector, Girag does the same with Yuma and crew with a giant hand grabbing the ship. Marin has had enough and draws before activating Rank-Up-Magic - The Seventh One to use Number 103 as Xyz Material for Chaos Number 103: Ragnafinity (Number C103: Ragnafinity in the CG) (2800) in Attack Mode. To Marin, she considers this monster the end for Vector. |
