Episode 129: Fists of Fury (1) | |
On board the airship, Yuma is still in distress over the loss of Trey
and Quinton, recalling their final moments in their duel against Mizar.
However, he blacks out and when they come to, he, Astral and Tori arrive
where things are in ruins. Worse still, Alito appears but isn't the
friendly Alito Yuma has seen before as he insults Nistro's dueling
skills. Astral protests that this isn't Alito's true self, even when
Alito suggests they're seeing him as he really is for the first time.
Alito figures Astral is talking about the legend and recalls it himself
where he defeats a giant in combat to the cheer of thousands of
children. It seems to work as Alito lightens up but Don Thousand
interferes and returns Alito back to being corrupted. As a result, Alito
transforms into his Barian self but since Yuma still refuses to duel,
Alito captures Tori in a web of vines as an incentive. With no other
choice, Yuma agrees to duel and duel preparations get underway before
Yuma draws and plays Gagaga Magician
(1500) in Attack Mode. Next he Special Summons Gagaga Child (800) in Attack Mode since he controls a Gagaga monster. As a result, GC's Level matches GM's Level, making it Level 4 too. Now, Yuma uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 39: Utopia (2500) in Attack Mode. Finally, he sets 1 card to end his turn. Alito gives Yuma and Astral a taste of his new powers after being unimpressed by Yuma's Utopia. Next he draws and plays Rank-Up-Magic - The Seventh One to Special Summon Number 105: Battlin' Boxer Star Cestus (2500) in Attack Mode from his Extra Deck, then use it as Xyz Material for Chaos Number 105: Battlin' Boxer Comet Cestus (Number C105: Battlin' Boxer Comet Cestus in the CG) (2800) in Attack Mode. It suddenly becomes clear to Astral that these new Number Cards were created by Don Thousand, whom is also controlling Alito. Sure enough, Astral calls out Don Thousand and he appears, commending Yuma for figuring out the plan but notes that they'll only lose the duel in the end. Furthermore, Astral World created Barian World with seemingly good cause as the fighting resulted from these two worlds. Worse still, by defeating the Mytherian Numbers, Yuma has allowed Don Thousand's power to grow infinitely more powerful. Nevertheless, Don Thousand retreats back into Alito and Alito resumes his turn by activating Comet Cestus' effect to detach an Xyz Material from itself, destroy Utopia and deal Yuma its ATK as damage, leaving Yuma down to 1500 LPs. Alito isn't done yet as Comet Cestus can still attack and proceeds to wipe out the rest of Yuma's LPs. Luckily, Yuma Special Summons Gagaga Gardna (1500) in Attack Mode since they're being attacked directly but if Comet Cestus takes out a monster, they'll take its ATK as damage. (The real card only deals half the ATK, which'd still be enough to cost Yuma and Astral the duel.) However, Yuma is ready and uses Gagaga Gardna's other effect to discard 1 card and prevent its destruction in battle, leaving him down to just 200 LPs. Alito considers it a lucky break but their last one and sets 1 card to end his turn. Astral never expected Alto to be so fierce but Yuma has a hunch that defeating Alito will free him from Don Thousand, leaving Astral to make his next observation. Yuma knows he has to win this duel for the others' sake and realizes Nistro was brought back to his senses thanks to Dextra's hard work and realizes he has to do the same against Alito. With that, Yuma draws and plays Tasuke Knight (1700) in Attack Mode, then uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Heroic Champion - Excalibur (2000) in Attack Mode. His attack prompts him to activate Excalibur's effect to detach all its Xyz Materials and double its ATK to 4000. However, when the smoke clears, Alito has Special Summoned Battlin' Boxer Veil (0000) in Attack Mode, reducing his Battle Damage to 0. (The real card forces you to take Battle Damage first, then gives you LPs equal to what you took.) Furthermore, since Excalibur isn't a Number card, Comet Cestus isn't destroyed. It's worse than Yuma thought and after Excalibur's ATK returns to normal, Yuma sets 1 card to end his turn. Alito doesn't think they'll get another turn but Astral's plan notes that they'll survive with Tasuke Knight's effect from the Graveyard as they have no cards in their hand. However, Alito draws and summons Battlin' Boxer Headgeared (1000) in Attack Mode before Don Thousand appears again. Next, Alito uses his monsters as Xyz Material for Number 80: Rhapsody in Berserk (0000) in Attack Mode, leaving Yuma and Astral puzzled until Alito explains how it works, then proves it by detaching an Xyz Material from itself to remove from play all monsters from Yuma's Graveyard. (The real card can only remove from play 1 card in your opponent's Graveyard, though it can use the effect up to twice per turn.) As a bonus, Alito uses its other effect to equip itself to Comet Cestus, raising its ATK by 1200 to 4000 with Don Thousand powering up the Number Card himself. Alito attacks but Yuma is ready and activates Xyz Pieces to negate the attack, then Tribute Excalibur for 2 Level 1 monsters from his Deck without their effects like Darklon (100) and Kurivolt (300) in Attack Mode. Astral is starting to believe they won't get through to Alito but Yuma plans to get through with Number 54: Lion Heart despite the danger. It becomes cleaar to Astral and he now knows how to free Alito. |
