Episode 25: Frozen in Time

One night, while Kite resides with Heart, mentally vowing to save him, Yuma is late as usual but gets scolded from Kari as she questions whether he's responsible or not. Kari has her own idea what's going on but Yuma is in no mood and gets out the door. Outside, he and Astral discuss what's happened but what matters is things are currently fine. Further down, the duo discuss what Kite could be planning that involves the Number cards before Yuma races ahead as he's still late. He finds Tori, whom isn't the least bit thrilled as she was up half the night worrying about Yuma and Astral. Now she faces dentition and while Yuma doesn't think so, Caswell and Bronk arrive to discuss the events at the warehouse.
Cathy arrives too to give her praise but Flip is jealous that he wasn't invited to the event even though it wasn't planned. The 2nd bell sounds and the group races ahead but stop literally in their tracks as time has stopped for everyone but Yuma and Astral. It's not the result of Kite but something else entirely. Inside his lair, Mr. Heartland learns from Dr. Faker that energy sources collided on Earth, resulting in the time temporarily being stopped. It can only mean that the two worlds are getting closer and while things will return to normal in a few hours, they're running out of time to deal with Astral World.
Astral notices three "suns" in the sky and realizes one of them is more familiar. Kite and Orbital 7 arrive to where Orbital claimed the energy met and Kite recalls to when Yuma dueled Shark. Suddenly Astral feels a sharp pain as though someone is trying to access his memories and realizes they need to go to where they've dueled before. Now on a motorcycle, Kite recalls the next duel featuring Yuma against Mr. Kay. Meanwhile, Yuma and Astral get separated until Yuma arrives where they dueled Flip Turner. At the site where Yuma dueled Nelson, Kite figures that knowing more about Astral will help him defeat Yuma and recalls what happened in the final moments of the duel. Later, Yuma and Astral arrive where they dueled Scorch and Chills and recall the event's final moments.
Next, they recall their duel against Kite that nearly ended Astral for good and was only stopped because Kite had another matter to attend to. After that, they recall their duel with Kaze where Yuma won the Legendary Deck to improve his skills. The next duel was against Fortuno where Yuma's friends were on the line and Yuma eventually brought out Utopia Ray to win. Back with Kite and Orbital, they arrive at Yuma's most recent memory where Bronk dueled Number 96: Dark Mist. Not far away, Yuma and Astral meet Kite and Orbital and Astral had known Kite was tracking their memories but the three "suns" merge and time resumes. Kite and Yuma will settle things at the World Duel Carnival!
