Episode 119: Mission: Astral World (2)
At the duel, Yuma isn't thrilled to learn that Elephus has the power to choose what card he'll draw as Elephus activates Rank-Up Advantage. With that done, he activates Rank-Up-Magic Astral Force to use his monster as Xyz Material for New Order 6: Etheric Apophis (2500) in Attack Mode. (The real Astral Force can only Rank-Up to Xyz Monsters with the same Type and Attribute as the original Xyz Monster and New Order 6 isn't the same type as it turns out.) Due to RUA's effect Elephus draws 1 card since he Xyz Summoned with a Rank-Up-Magic card. With Shining Draw, it'll be what he wants and he uses Emperic Apophis' effect to detach an Xyz Material from itself and lower Number 39: Utopia's ATK by 2000 to 500. His attack prompts Yuma to try and use Utopia's effect to negate the attack but RUA's other effect negates Utopia's effects. However, Yuma is still ready and activates Half Unbreak to prevent Utopia's destruction in battle and halve the Battle Damage he takes, bringimg him down to 3000 LPs.
Finally, Elephus sets 1 card to end his turn. Meanwhile, Dumon continues trying to convince Shark that he's a Barian too and uses the Barian emblam to take Shark back to where he dueled Abyss and is willing to unlock Shark's past for Barian's sake. Back at the duel, Yuma doesn't know what to do as Elephus counters every move he makes. Elephus already knows the outcome of the duel but Yuma protests that not only will Astral overcome the infection but he himself was the one that helped Ena. Regardless, Elephus notes that Yuma's dad should be held responsible as he's the reason Astral was sent to Yuma, which led to Astral being infected with chaos energy. Yuma still remains positive, even after being shown Ena and crews' fate. He draws and uses Rank-Up-Magic Numeron Force to not only negate the effect of all other face-up cards on the field but to use Utopia as Xyz Material for Chaos Number 39: Utopia Ray Victory (Number C39: Utopia Ray Victory in the CG) (2800) in Attack Mode.
Next he uses Ray Victory's effect to detach an Xyz Material from itself and gain New Order 6's ATK, raising its ATK to 5300. His attack takes out New Order 6 to leave Elephus down to 1200 LPs. Just as Yuma celebrates, Elephus activates Ascension Spiral to remove from play the New Order 6 in his Grave and Special Summon New Order 8: Etheric Sebek (3000) in Attack Mode. Worse still, Elephus uses Astral Force's effect from the Grave to add it back to his hand instead of conducting his Draw Phase. Elephus confirms Yuma's fears by using Astral Force to use New Orders 8 as Xyz Material for New Order 10: Etheric Horus (3500) in Attack Mode. Since he Xyz Summoned with Rank-Up-Magic, Elephus draws 1 card and gets a 2nd Astral Force. As a result, Elephus uses AF to use New Order 10 as Xyz Material for New Order 12: Etheric Maahes (4000) in Attack Mode.
Once again, RUA lets Elephus draw 1 card and Elephus uses New Order 12's effect to detach its Xyz Materials and Special Summon them, reviving New Order 8 and New Order 10 in Attack Mode. Worse still, Elephus activates Rank Domination to prevent non-Xyz Monsters from attacking and only allowing Xyz Monsters to attack in order of their Rank. His attack prompts Yuma to activate Ray Victory's effect to gain New Order 8's ATK to 5800. However, Elephus uses RD's other effect to lower the ATK of the lower Rank Xyz Monster when it battles by 1000 times the difference in Ranks. With the difference in Ranks being 3, Ray Victory loses 3000 ATK, bringing back down to 2800. The attack connects, bringing Yuma down to 2800 but Ray Victory survives as New Order 8 isn't a Number monster. RD's effect wears off, returning Ray Victory's ATK to 5800.
However Elephus isn't concerned and attacks with New Order 10, lowering Ray Victory's ATK by 5000 to 800 by RD's effect. His second attack connects, sending Yuma flying and down to 100 LPs. Back outside, Dumon gets Shark to activate the Barian emblem and return to his duel with Abyss whereby Abyss is defeated, leaving Vector angry. Past Shark goes to Rio's aid before taking aim at Vector with Dumon's help. A battle ensues where Shark and Dumon win, leaving Vector to sail away on the remains of his ship but Shark will hunt him down. He and Dumon search in the rain but only find a little girl that is all-to-familiar to Shark. It's Rio but while he comes to grips with that, Yuma does the same with the last attack Elephus made. Yuma still won't give up and gets to his feet, refusing to believe that Astral will forget the memories they shared. Regardless, Elephus attacks with Maaheed, leaving Ray Victory to lose all its ATK since the difference between Ranks is 7. Realizing it could be it, Yuma calls out to Astral and his friends hear him.
