Episode 138: The Darkness Revealed

Inside a cave (what looks to be one anyway) a boy named Miro (if I heard right) and his (father?) sit at a campfire when Jim and Axel approach, asking if they've seen Jaden. The father says Jaden's probably long gone as no duelist can survive here. When two Battle Footballers approach, overhearing a conversation about dueling, Axel and Jim intercept to duel them. Meanwhile, Many duel monsters are lined up near the Supreme King's lair and inside this lair, five duel monsters (Skilled White Magician, Skull Knight, Guardian Baou, Skilled Dark Magician and Chaos Sorcerer),  assure TSK (The Supreme King for short) that the land will soon be his in a matter of time. Back at the campsite, Jim and Axel have sent both Battle Footballers to the stars. The father tells of a rumor about the result of being captured. Jim and Axel figure Jaden went to duel the Supreme King and decide to go there themselves but before they go, Jim's eye begins hurting and explains the story of how it came to be the way it is now.

Afterwards, Jim summons the perfect monster to help them get to TSK's lair. Elsewhere, three more duel monsters (Abaki, Blast Asmodian and Mechanicalchaser) attack a gate entrance but are intercepted by another individual that ends up striking Jim when he and Axel arrive. The blow leaves Jim knocked out and in memory lane, remembering his first time at DA. When he awakens, he's greeted by a woman named Clarette and the stranger from before dressed as Total Defense Shogun, whom concludes that the friend Jim and Axel seek is a prisoner of the king. Clarette tells the man now revealed as Burgundy to relax and he does. Despite Burgundy and Clarette's words, Jim and Axel head off, ready to give TSK the royal treatment. They arrive and enter to discover large amounts of Duel Disks and Kozaky, another duel monster spirit standing before them. Kozaky tells them that TSK is invincible and all duelists have been sent to the stars but Jim protests that Jaden is too good for that.

Jim agrees to duel while Axel splits off (either to go a bit further away or back to the town but it's hard to tell which as you cannot see him too well if at all). Jim plays Weathering Soldier (1200) in Defense Mode and ends his turn. Kozaky plays Chaosrider Gustaph (1400) in Attack Mode. Next he uses Double Summon to allow him to play another Chaosrider Gustaph in Attack Mode. Then he plays Revival of Dokurorider to discard his Gadget Soldier for Dokurorider (1900) in Attack Mode. Using Gustaph's effect, he removes from play 2 Spell Cards in his Grave to give it 600 ATK to 2000. His attacks leave Jim defenseless and down to 100 Life Points. Jim uses Fossil Fusion to bring out Fossil Machine Skull Wagon (1700) in Attack Mode. Next he plays Time Stream to bring out the monster he used to transport he and Axel here, Fossil Machine Skull Convoy (2100) in Attack Mode for half his LPs, putting him down to 50. Since it can attack three times, Jim attacks with it and takes out all three of Kozaky's monsters, leaving Kozaky himself with 3000. His own monster disappears as Jim explains that Skull Convoy deals 1000 damage per monster it destroyed, winning the duel and allowing Jim and Axel to leave. They encounter TSK's army from behind a rocky wall and conclude that the village got attacked. Axel spots someone coming and it's Burgundy, whom gets a last sentence out before being sent to the stars. This fuels Jim's anger towards TSK and he darts off and calls out to TSK. TSK accepts the challenge to duel and lifts up his mask to the horror of Jim and Axel. Could this be.......Jaden?!
