Outside, Syrus races away with Goldd and Sillva following and the two rant about who's carrying him back. They disappear when they see Syrus is out of road and falls but unbeknownst to them, Axel used his Copy Doll card to create a Syrus doll that takes the fall while the real Syrus is with he and Jim, warning of Jaden's latest behavior. Back at the duel, Brron sets 2 cards to end his turn. Jaden draws Neos but realizing he needs another plan, he brings out Elemental Hero Avian (1000) in Defense Mode to the crowd's disapproval. Brron reassures them with his Trap Card Darkness Half, halving the ATK of his Zure and bringing out 2 Darkness Tokens (1000 x2) in Attack Mode to Jaden's field. It's not enough to change Jaden's mind so he also activates Dark Tournament, forcing Avian to Attack Mode and attack, leaving Zure on the field and Brron himself with 3500 LPs.

With the attacks, Brron activates his Hatred, Anguish, and Sadness cards, giving each remaining friend a last brief conversation before they're all sealed in the book. Syrus had arrived to watch all this in disbelief. For Brron's turn, he tries to obtain the power of Super Polymerization but it fizzles out as Brron realizes he did need the 5th offering and opts instead to send his Wicked Cannon and Sinister Doctrine to the Grave for a Fusion Monster like Reign-Beaux, Overlord of Dark World (2500) in Attack Mode. (The real card is an Effect Monster.) He attacks and destroys Jaden's Avian with it, leaving Jaden at 2300 LPs. He puts his Zure into Defense Mode and sets 1 card to end his turn. Jaden tributes the tokens Brron gave him for Elemental Hero Neos (2500) in Attack Mode. Then he plays Common Soul to bring out Neo-Spacian Air Hummingbird (800) in Attack Mode and uses Contact Fusion to summon Elemental Hero Air Neos (2500) in Attack Mode. With Jaden's LPs lower than Brron's, his EHAN gains the difference between them, putting its ATK at 3700. Jaden attacks and takes out Reign-Beaux, leaving Brron with the same amount of LPs as Jaden. Then Jaden uses Contact Out to trade EHAN for Neos and Air Hummingbird. He attacks with his monsters, destroying Zure and leaving Brron with 1500 LPs.

After Jaden ends his turn with his Air Hummingbird's effect to give him 500 LPs per card in Brron's hand to put him at 3300 LPs, Brron compliments on Jaden's anger before using Revenge Soul to bring back the very monster he lost (apparently it goes to his hand). Then, using Dark Corridor, he adds any Dark World monster to his hand and discard 1 card, with that very discarded card being  Celeri, Monk of Dark World gets played on Jaden's field. (The real card's name is Ceruli, Guru of Dark World.) Oops! At around 13:18 in the dubbed episode, Jaden says it was summoned to his hand! Next, Celeri's effect triggers, forcing its opponent to discard one card and with Brron being that opponent, he discards Reign-Beaux (which we can see at around 13:24 in the dubbed episode that it is NOT a Fusion Monster), triggering its effect to Special Summon itself and trigger one of two effects. Choosing monsters, Jaden is left defenseless so Brron attacks directly to leave Jaden's score at 800.

Now very angry, Jaden uses O - Oversoul to bring back Neos in Attack Mode. Next he equips Neos with Assault Armor, giving Neos 300 ATK to 2800. He takes out Reign-Beaux, to leave Brron with 1200. Using AA's effect, he destroy it to let Neos attack again and does but Brron activates Corridor to Dark World (Gateway to Dark World in the CG) to bring back Reign-Beaux and destroy both monsters since their ATKs are equal. Brron mentally schemes what he has planned next but Jaden isn't done and activates Battle of Sleeping Spirits, letting both players Special Summon a monster but Brron's Corridor of Dark World prevents him so Jaden gets his Neos back and attacks, winning the duel. He orders Brron to say where he is but doesn't believe the answer he gets yet gets nothing more before Brron goes to the stars. Syrus' rune takes effect again and after a brief conversation, Syrus darts off with Jim and soon Axel, following suit, leaving Jaden to moan about what he's just done. A blank card falls in front of him and he quickly sees it's Super Polymerization but can't understand why Brron would do such a thing for a card, A voice explains everything and says what Jaden needs to do next, identifying itself as the Supreme King.
