Episode 128: A Dimensional Duel

Still at the site of the Rainbow Dragon tablet, Pegasus gets set up to create the Rainbow Dragon card. Meanwhile, Zane and Jesse get ready for their duel. Down below, Jaden discovers  he's too late and finds a passageway straight into Sheppard's office where a group of Duel Ghouls, with Crowler their new member, waiting for them before Pharaoh and Banner get them out. Slumped on the floor, Marcel thinks that Jaden will be the one that needs saving. Back at the tablet, Pegasus puts the final touches on his Rainbow Dragon card before having it transmitted. At the Interdimensional Duel System, Jesse and Zane receive word about the card. The confirmation allows the duel to begin with Zane playing Graceful Charity to draw 3 cards, then discard 2. Next he brings out Proto-Cyber Dragon (1100) in Attack Mode. Then he uses Overload Fusion to remove from play his PCD and the other Machines in his Grave for Chimeratech Overdragon (????) in Attack Mode, whose stats become 2400 with 3 Fusion Material used for its Fusion Summon. Oops! From around 5:06-5:07, Zane says it can make 3 direct attacks when it's not limited to direct attacks!

Using Cyber Ourobouros' effect, he removes it from play, then sends 1 card from his Deck to the Grave to draw 1 card. Oops! At 5:11 into the dubbed episode, the card he's removing is Infernal Dragon not Cyber Ouroboros! Now Zane uses Future Fusion to send his 3 Cyber Dragons to his Grave. From the classroom, the others are watching the duel when Alexis remarks on Jim's bad dingo phrase as something he probably made up. At the duel, Jesse remarks that so far Zane's been great at dueling and hopes he doesn't lose before he can take it out. Zane hopes Jesse's deck can back up what Jesse told him and with that, Jesse takes his turn by summoning Crystal Beast Amethyst Cat (1200) in Attack Mode. After equipping her with Crystal Release, boosting her ATK by 800 to 2000, Jesse uses her effect to attack Zane directly, leaving Zane with 3000. Professor Eisenstein receives word that the card is being loaded in  a missile but is concerned about the portal's lack of change in size. Zane uses Polymerization to bring out Cyberdark Dragon (1000) in Attack Mode and uses its effect to equip itself with Infernal Dragon, raising its ATK to 3000 and its other effect raising its ATK to 3600. Zane's first attack leaves Jesse with 2400, everyone watching in awe and a portal now opening in the sky.

In DA, Jaden finds Pharaoh led him into a trap set by Crowler and the other Duel Ghouls. In the nick of time, a door behind Jaden opens and Bonaparte is on the other side to explain of another passage leading directly to the tennis court. The dueling site now features Zane's 2nd attack, which gets cancelled by Jesse's Crystal Pair Trap Card, also letting him put another Crystal Beast monster in his Spell and Trap Zone. To buy time, Axel and Hassleberry decide to duel (I won't mention the cards played because I cannot identify all of them). Jesse takes his turn by playing Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus (1800) in Attack Mode and puts Ruby Carbuncle in his Spell and Trap Zone by its effect. Using Carbuncle's effect, he brings Amber Mammoth, (1700) Amethyst Cat and Emerald Turtle (600) to the field (Crystal Beast Emerald Tortoise in the CG) in Attack Mode. After Jesse sets two face down cards, he ends his turn. Zane takes his turn with Future Fusion's effect to bring out Cyber End Dragon (4000) in Attack Mode, activating Jesse's Crystal Fortress Trap Card, treating his Crystal Beasts as 1000 ATK each but Zane counters with Power Load, giving his CED 400 ATK for each attack possible by his other monsters for total of 5600. CED attacks Amber Mammoth, setting off Jesse's other card Amber Crystal Circle, which gives CBAM the ATK of all other Crystal Beasts to equal CED's and with Zane's attack, the portal widens. The missile launches successfully but the machinery down below short-circuits and part of Eisenstein's last words are cut-off only answered by Hassleberry, Axel and Duel Ghouls coming in from the nearby doors. With no other way out, Alexis and Jim figure they have to duel them but Jaden comes up from underground with Elemental Hero Neos. Marcel feels a change of scenery is in order and activates his House of Sand card which he doesn't state, nor is there an indicator of, what it does (therefore it won't be included in the Episode Cards area below). Jaden explains about the passageway Bonaparte showed him before Marcel from the PA system requests Jaden duel him with only 30 minutes to get there or he sends ones infested as a Duel Ghoul away forever. Jaden, determined now more than ever, fully agrees.
