On the helicopters, Pegasus explains the story of the Rainbow Dragon. At last they arrive and discover that the Rainbow Dragon stone carving has already been partially uncovered by the Geko Financial Group and Echo is refusing to let Pegasus and his men pick up where she left off, saying it's property of the GFG. Pegasus' negotiations only cause her to reveal that she has wired the area with short-circuit Trap Cards (surely Pegasus should know how they work if he created the game but if not, how were these created?) Down below, Marcel admits the truth about the Sacred Beasts and offers a duel for them, which Adrian agrees. Marcel starts with Mad Reloader (0000) in Defense Mode before setting 1 card face down to complete his turn.

Elsewhere, Jaden is caught between Duel Ghouls and can take no more of it. Up above, the group formed earlier runs into Duel Ghouls left and right, giving Axel and Bastion orders for their teammates to duel them but when those run out, Crowler steps in to duel two alone and the rest of the group heads off. Back at the Rainbow Dragon tablet site, Pegasus and Sheppards' words are getting them nowhere as Echo threatens to destroy the tablet if they move any closer. She doesn't want her friend to come back. At the duel, Adrian draws and plays Summon Cloud, letting him play a Level 4 or below Cloudian monster. Next he brings out Cloudian - Sheep Cloud (0000) in Attack Mode and destroys it with Exploding Cloud. With Sheep Cloud destroyed, it brings out 2 Sheep Tokens (0000 x2) in Attack Mode. (The real card must be destroyed by battle and sent to the Grave to bring out the Sheep Tokens). He tributes the tokens for Cloudian - Eye of the Typhoon (3000) in Attack Mode and attacks, destroying Mad Reloader and leaving Marcel with only 1000 Life Points. Oops! As Adrian explains his monster's effect he says at 9:03 into the dubbed episode that Mad Reloader is in Defense Mode when it's really in Attack Mode as Marcel takes damage!

With MR destroyed, its effect allows Marcel to return 2 cards from his hand to his deck, then draw 2 cards. Oops again! Marcel explains MR's effect incorrectly at 9:17 into the dubbed episode! Now CEotT loses 500 ATK to 2500 by its effect (The real card doesn't have this effect) and Adrian sets 1 card to end his turn. Marcel understands everything Adrian has been through and why he wants this power. Meanwhile, Echo better explains Adrian's story. At the duel, Marcel sets 1 card to end his turn before telling Adrian he has to earn the power. At the tablet site, Pegasus' men finally manage to subdue Echo and separate her from the remote that detonates the Trap Cards. Returning to the duel, Adrian draws and decides not to pay Summon Cloud's maintenance cost, destroying the card. (The real card has no maintenance cost but is destroyed if you Special Summon a Cloudian monster from the Grave by its effect.) Next, he attacks directly with Cloudian Eye of the Typhoon but Marcel reveals 2 Break the Seal Trap Cards, each allowing him to add 1 The Forbidden One card from his Deck to his hand by sending itself to the Grave. Oops once more! Marcel calls his Break the Seal Cards Trap Cards at 14:57 into the dubbed episode! Adrian realizes Marcel is trying to summon Exodia but before Marcel can pick the cards, the Sacred Beasts interfere, destroying Eye of the Typhoon as Marcel explains they've escaped.

He orders them back inside until he says so, then tries to walk away before Adrian pulls him back, saying the duel isn't over yet before being shocked at the cards on the ground. Oops once more! From 16:17 to 16:20 in the dubbed episode, the Exodia pieces aren't censored! Marcel says the duel was only about what Adrian was made of and releases the Sacred Beasts from their prison, adding the 3 cards to his Duel Disk. Meanwhile, Jaden gets surrounded by monsters before Winged Kuriboh bails him out and they escape. Back in DA, they reach the Interdimensional Duel System and begin the setup (with Kaiba's classic Yu-Gi-Oh hacking music playing in the background I might add). Aster and Eisenstein arranged for Zane to be Jesse's opponent and Zane says they can't hold anything back.
