At the site of the Sacred Beasts, Jaden fails to convince Marcel to not mess with the Sacred Beasts before Marcel jumps into the crevice despite orders from his father to stop. More Duel Ghouls arrive and Jaden orders Blair and Bonaparte to head inside while takes after Marcel. As Marcel races ahead, Chazz intercepts, hoping Jaden isn't in a hurry and orders a duel with Duel Ghouls closing in behind Jaden. Before Jaden can fully agree, Chazz begins his turn with Return Zombie (1000) in Attack Mode. Next he uses Quick Rush, letting his monster attack on the first turn of the duel, leaving Jaden with 3000 Life Points. Now realizing he has no choice but to duel, Jaden quickly activates his duel disc, draws his hand, then plays Elemental Hero Sparkman (1600) in Attack Mode and takes out RZ, leaving Chazz with 3400 LPs. Jaden tries to charge his way through but is stopped by Chazz summoning Vorse Raider (1900) in Attack Mode. Vorse Raider not only takes out Sparkman, leaving Jaden's score at 2700 but then begins choking Jaden himself.

Meanwhile, not far from the duel, Adrian spots Marcel darting past and figures he'd go and see if the stories of the Shadow Riders and Sacred Beasts were true. Back on the sands, Bonaparte and Blair explain everything about Jaden's whereabouts and Marcel's plan. The others that had been watching the duel decide to go after the food themselves but are stopped by Duel Ghouls, two of which join the Ghouls after losing their respective duels. Elsewhere, Axel hears the cries and orders his team to move back to Duel Academy before a transmission from Dr Eisenstein overrides their concentration as he needs them to start the rescue. Back down below, Marcel races forward with Adrian not far behind (or in this case ahead) and the duel resumes with Jaden barely managing to take his turn by using Polymerization for Elemental Hero Flame Wingman (2100) in Attack Mode. Vorse Raider releases its grip on Jaden before being destroyed by Flame Wingman's attack, leaving Chazz with 3200, then 1300 by Flame Wingman's effect.

Chazz of course is left with a small flame on his jacket before drawing and activating his own Polymerization for Dark Blade Dragon Knight (Dark Blade the Dragon Knight in the TCG) (2200) in Attack Mode. He gives DBDK Fusion Buster to give it 300 ATK to 2500 and takes to Flame Wingman with  DBDK, leaving Jaden with Avian (1000) and Burstinatrix (1200) both in Attack Mode as Chazz explains Fusion Buster's other effect and takes out Avian, leaving Jaden with 1200 as his score. Chazz also explains that Jaden's Polymerization card is destroyed (what that means I haven't a clue). Up on the sands of Duel Academy, Bastion arrives and discovers more power is needed for Eisenstein's transmission so he and a few others (with Jim's croc Shirley) dig out the sand and are able to provide a better connection. Eisenstein explains that a Crystal Beast Rainbow Dragon card is needed to get them home via the portal and the stone tablet containing the monster has been found.

Sure enough, Pegasus and Sheppard are indeed enroute while Eisenstein explains about his new Interdimensional Duel System. At the underground duel, Jaden takes his turn by playing Fake Hero to bring out Elemental Hero Neos (2500) in Attack Mode. Then he uses Cross Change to trade his Burstinatrix for Neo-Spacian Grand Mole since both cards are the same Level. Finally he uses Contact Fusion to bring out Elemental Hero Grand Neos (2500) in Attack Mode and returns DBDK to Chazz's hand by its effect, then attacks directly to win the duel. He sets the now lifeless Chazz on the ground before darting off. Meanwhile, Axel's team prepares to allow a path to the tennis court for the duel. Back down below, while Marcel encounters Adrian, Jaden rushes off to find Marcel before time runs out and the Sacred Beasts get out.

The equipped monster gains 300 ATK. Once per turn, you can select 1 face-up Fusion Monster your opponent controls, and return it to the Fusion Deck. Then, if all the Fusion Material Monsters that were used to Fusion Summon it are in your opponent's Graveyard, Special Summon them to your opponent's side of the field. When your opponent activates a "Polymerization", you can send this face-up card to the Graveyard to negate the activation of that card, and destroy it.
