Episode 125: Triple Play (2)

At the duel site, Jaden mentally assesses the trios' situation before Clown 1 draws and ends his turn and his silence as he explains that he's over the hand size limit and must discard 1 card. With Jesse's turn, Clown 1's Silent Pain Spell Card, destroying all of Jesse's monsters and dealing him 1000 damage each Standby Phase it remains the only card in his Grave, leaving Jesse without monsters and his score down to 3000. Clown 1 brings up the old BS adage that slow and steady wins the race (in most cases being first across the finish line wins, which is why I consider this BS). Jesse plays Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger (1600) in Attack Mode but is stopped by Clown 1's Silent Space card, which destroys 1 monster Jesse has by removing itself from play since Silent Pain is in his Grave. Once again, Clown 1 draws and ends his turn. With the start of Jesse's turn, he takes 1000 damage but Clown 1 uses the effect of Silent Torment to remove itself from play to deal another 1000 damage since Silent Pain's effect has activated, putting Jesse with a mere 1000 LPs. At least Jim knows how to duel and with that, Jim starts his turn by summoning Weathering Soldier (2000) in Attack Mode and takes out Anchor Knight, leaving Clown 2 with 3500 LPs and triggering AK's other effect, which Clown 2 uses by discarding 1 card to bring it back in Defense Mode. As Jim's turn ends, his Weathering Soldier's effect activates, lowering its ATK by 600 to 1400.

Clown 2 takes his turn by activating Violent Salvage, letting him return 3 cards from his Graveyard to his hand since his AK is still in play but since he can't use them, he discards them for AK's effect to leave Jim with 400, then destroys WS with AK's attack, leaving Jim's score at 300. Determined to find Marcel, Bonaparte darts off while Marcel himself moves forward with his true objective. Pharaoh rubs Blair's leg as an indicator and Blair notices Bonaparte's absence and takes off with Jaden. Axel takes his turn by setting 1 card face down and playing Fire Trooper (1000) in Attack Mode. With its effect not only sending it to the Grave automatically but dealing 1000 damage to Clown 3, leaving him with 3000. (The real card's effect is optional.) However, Clown 3 uses Rough Fight's effect to remove itself from play since it's in his Grave (due to Fool Clown's effect from earlier), dealing Axel the same amount of effect damage, putting him at 1500. Next Axel plays Fire Recovery to send Volcanic Scattershot from his Deck to his Grave and bring back Fire Trooper to deal a combined effect damage of 1500 (with Volcanic Scattershot dealing the other 500), evening out the scores between both players until Axel uses another Fire Recovery to discard another Volcanic Scattershot and leave Clown 3 in tears and with 1000 Life Points. He hints at one last surprise and plays Volcanic Scattershot (0000) in Defense Mode.

Clown 3 mentally thinks about his own surprise. Oops! At 9:13 to 9:14 in the dubbed episode, Clown 3 calls his face down Burial from a Different Dimension a Trap Card! As Clown 3 draws, Axel walks away, having already won the duel with his Trap Card, dealing 1000 damage during Clown 3's Draw Phase, winning the duel. He tells the others of his considering the duel a ruse but the duels resume so he heads off with his team. Inside the school, while Marcel remains worry-free, Adrian silently stands behind a door entrance and Blair's group run in another hallway. Back at the dueling site, Jim activates Specimen Inspection to toss out a monster from his hand and force Clown 2 to send a Level 4 Warrior-Type monster from his deck to his Grave as per Jim's choice. Next he uses Fossil Fusion to remove from play his Weathering Knight and Anchor Knight for Fossil Warrior Skull Bone (2000) in Attack Mode. Oops again! At 11:42 in the dubbed episode, Jim calls Weathering Soldier Weathering Knight! Then he uses Time Stream, which lets him pay half his LPs and send his current Fusion Monster to the Grave for Fossil Warrior Skull Knight (2400) in Attack Mode, does it again to bring out Fossil Warrior Skull King (2800) in Attack Mode and leaving himself with a very sparse 75 LPs.

He takes out Clown 2's Anchor Knight with it, leaving him with 2200 LPs. Of course, Clown 2 uses AK's effect to bring it back and that's what Jim hoped for because both of FWSK's effects come into play, letting it attack again and dealing the difference the difference in points as damage since AK is in Defense Mode. With that, AK gets destroyed and Jim wins. At Jesse's duel, Jesse plays Ancient City - Rainbow Ruins, then summons Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus (1800) in Attack Mode, triggering another Silent Space card from Clown 2 after Jesse puts Ruby Carbuncle in his Spell and Trap Zone by CBSP's effect and with CBSP destroyed, Jesse can Special Summon Crystal Beast Ruby Carbuncle (300) in Attack Mode. (The real card doesn't have this part of the effect.) As Ruby's effect is triggered, Clown 2 tries another Silent Space but it gets negated by ACRR's effect so Jesse brings out Sapphire Pegasus and Amber Mammoth in Attack Mode and Clown 2 knows there's trouble ahead. Jesse's direct attacks with his monsters succeed and he wins the duel. Meanwhile, Marcel and Axel (secretly) are near the Generator Complex as Axel thinks that must've been what Marcel wanted. Bonaparte comes running over and Adrian ducks behind a sand dune. Bonaparte explains that Marcel is his son and refuses to allow any harm to come by him. Marcel is glad Jaden's here and wraps his new arm around Bonaparte's neck and chest, draining the energy away, leaving Bonaparte collapsed on the sand. Next he jams his fist into the ground and opens the area where the Sacred Beast cards were hidden away, laughing evilly.
