Episode 100: The Edge of Elimination (1)
While the MC commentates on the stakes for Team 5Ds, Crow gives Akiza a drink as Akiza wishes she could've done more. She wasn't ready but no one is as the tournament is new to everyone and Crow invites her to watch Yusei's duel. After Jean and Breo analyze what's happened thus far, Yusei draws and summons Max Warrior (1800) in Attack Mode, then attacks with Stardust Dragon to take out Thunder Unicorn and leave Andre down to 1000 LPs. Yusei's 2nd attack prompts Andre to use TU's other effect (which isn't present on the real card) to Special Summon itself (2200) in Attack Mode during the Battle Phase but it's removed from play if it leaves the field. Nevertheless, Yusei continues his attack, giving MW 400 ATK to equal TU and take both monsters out.

Finally he sets 1 card to end his turn. To everyone's surprise but Jean and Breo, Andre draws, then sets 2 cards to end his turn. Yusei draws, knowing he cannot let End of the Storm (rather End of Storm) destroy him and destroys it to Special Summon Card Breaker (100) in Attack Mode. (The real card is Special Summoned by destroying 1 of your own Spell or Trap Cards.) However, Andre expected the destruction of his Spell Card and activates Magic Charge to deal both players 2000 damage since one of his own Spell Cards was destroyed, leaving his score down to 0 and Yusei at 2000. Andre and Breo swap positions and Jean reminds Breo what their team strategy is before Breo takes off. Meanwhile, Jack struggles in bed while Luna and Leo learn that there's no battle info on Breo since Andre has always been the ones to defeat their opponents in the past.

Perhaps Breo and Jean aren't any good but Breo draws and plays Bicorn Re'em (1600) in Defense Mode before setting 2 cards to end his turn. (The real card isn't a Tuner monster.) Yusei draws, knowing he needs to step it up and plays Dash Warrior (600) in Attack Mode. Oops! At 14:12 into the US episode, the graphic indicates that his DEF is 600 instead of his ATK! His attack not only triples DW's ATK to 1800 but prompts Breo to activate Negate Attack to stop the attack and end the Battle Phase. All Yusei can do is put CB in Defense Mode and end his turn so Breo draws and plays Mine Mole (1000) in Attack Mode. Since BR is a Tuner, Breo uses his monsters as Synchro Material for Voltic Bicorn (2500) in Attack Mode.
Due to BR's effect, Yusei sends the top 2 cards of his Deck to the Graveyard since it was Synchro Material and thanks to MM, Breo draws 1 card since it was Synchro Material for a Beast-Type Synchro. The moment Breo has trained for is here. He could use his old method but has changed a lot since then and recalls how he got to this point. The new him uses Speed World 2's effect to drop 10 Speed Counters and destroy his own VB, triggering its effect to force both players to send the top 7 cards of their Decks to the Graveyard. The group realizes that this is their strategy and Yusei is about to be decked out while their opponents have a full Deck!
