Episode 66: A New Threat (2)
Leo and Luna race into the place where Crow, Yusei and Jack had been residing but finds Akiza instead and none of them have a clue where the others went but Akiza assures things will be fine at least she hopes so. At the duel, Crow and Jack see the Machine/Meklord Emperor Wisel and need a closer look to better understand. Crow finds it's made up of 5 different monsters and figures it might be why Trudge and the others are in the hospital but Yusei better figure out how to beat it as he sets 2 cards to end his turn. Ghost draws and attacks Yusei's weakened Max Warrior but Yusei uses Shock Reborn to halve the Battle Damage he'd take, still leaving him defenseless and down to 3150 LPs (though his score is shown in a monster graphic as it includes both "ATK" and Level 1, indicating this was probably taken from Machine Emperor Wisel's ATK graphic).
Furthermore, it also lets him Special Summon a monster from his Grave with less ATK than the damage he took and he chooses Turbo Booster (0000) in Attack Mode. Ghost isn't impressed and sets 1 card to end his turn. Yusei draws and gets an idea by playing Speed Spell - Angel Baton to draw 2 cards, then discard 1 (Gauntlet Warrior) since he has 2 or more Speed Counters. Next he summons Debris Dragon (1000) in Attack Mode and uses its effect to Special Summon his previously discarded Gauntlet Warrior (400) in Attack Mode. After that, he uses his monsters as Synchro Material for Stardust Dragon (2500) in Attack Mode, making Ghost snicker.

Nevertheless, Yusei then activates Meteor Wave to give SD 300 ATK and the Fairy Meteor Crush effect this turn, putting its ATK up to 2800. His attack on Wisel Infinity activates Wisel Guard's effect to make it the attack target, destroying it and leaving Ghost down to 2400 LPs. With that, Yusei sets 1 card to end his turn so Ghost draws and summons Wisel Guard 3 (2000) in Defense Mode (and it's not a DARK monster as shown at 9:10 into the US episode). The group realize that Wisel is a very tough monster to beat as it can be continuously repaired and the reason for Ghost's night hunting is to eliminate Synchro Monsters and demonstrates with Wisel's effect to absorb Stardust Dragon and raise its ATK to 5000.
His direct attack prompts Yusei to activate Scrap-Iron Scarecrow to negate the attack and return itself face down. As a result, Ghost sets 2 cards to end his turn. All Yusei can do is summon Bicular (200) in Defense Mode and set 1 card to end his turn but it doesn't impress Ghost. Ghost draws and activates Wise A3 to tribute his Wisel Attack for Wisel Attack 3 (1600) in Attack Mode, which he equips to Wisel, raising its ATK up to 5400. He attacks Yusei's Bicular but Yusei once again uses SIS to negate the attack but Ghost was expecting this so he activates Battle Return to halve Wisel's ATK to 2700 and attack with it again, destroying Bicular and leaving Yusei down to 650 by WA3's effect.
However, this has activated Bicular's effect to let Yusei bring out Unicycular (100) in Attack Mode.Ghost then activates Trap Recycle to discard 1 card to retrieve Battle Return from his Graveyard but it cannot be Set this turn so Yusei draws but isn't satisfied so he uses Speed World 2's effect to remove his 7 Speed Counters and draw 1 card. Back in the building, Leo, Luna and Akiza watch their marks fade as they know Yusei needs them and Yusei gets the mark of the Crimson Dragon. He draws and summons Majestic Dragon (0000) in Attack Mode, then uses Synchro Material to use Ghost's stolen Stardust Dragon as Synchro Material with his own for Majestic Star Dragon (3800) in Attack Mode. (The real Synchro Material must select a monster and since the real Meklords equip Synchro Monsters to themselves, Stardust Dragon wouldn't be a valid target. You also cannot conduct your Battle Phase the turn it's used.)
Without SD, Wisel loses 2500 ATK to leave it with 2900. Furthermore, MSD negates the effects of the opponent's monster and attacks the head, destroying it and winning Yusei the duel and causing Ghost to careen off the road and down to the ground. One of Lazar's new directors finds the crash and realizes that Yusei must be responsible but considers it an interesting twist. Yusei, Jack and Crow also find the crash and attempt to get Ghost to medical attention but they discover it's a robot and need answers. They take their finds to Trudge, whom concludes that it's a stolen and reprogrammed prototype Duel Bot. All Yusei, Jack and Crow know is that they'll have to be ready at all times because Yusei has a feeling that the Duel Bot is only the beginning and things will get worse!
