Episode 60: Truth and Consequences (1)
Inside her tower, Misty mourns over the loss of her brother Toby and Akiza needs to get to the tower and win before sundown or the gate to the Netherworld will open. Akiza has also dueled Misty before and was blamed for Toby's disappearance. She and Mina approach and decide to split up as Akiza advises to run of an Earthbound Immortal insignia forms. Not far behind are Yusei and crew, whom have no luck finding Akiza but Mina finds Sayer, whom is working with Goodwin and requests she follow him. Akiza encounters Misty, whom is using the hall of mirrors as a symbol of the past. Elsewhere, Yusei still has no luck finding Akiza and encounters Sayer, whom agrees to help in the search.
In the hall of mirrors, duel preparations get underway before Misty draws and activates Mirror Labyrinth. Next she uses Sad Story - Sorrowful Memories to not only remind Akiza of the past but to shuffle any monsters drawn during the Draw Phase back into the owner's Deck. Then she plays Reptilianne Servant (100) in Attack Mode, preventing monsters from being Summoned. (The real card only prevents Normal Summons.) Akiza draws a Monster Card to start her turn and has to shuffle it into the Deck instead by SSSM's effect. As a result, the best she an do is set 1 card face down.
With that, the duel moves deeper into the labyrinth. Meanwhile, Sayer and Yusei aren't any further along in their search when Sayer mentions movement in the window. Yusei runs over to find Mina down below. Worse still, Yusei realizes that Sayer is behind Mina's predicament, stating that Akiza doesn't need friends that weigh her down and equips himself with Psychic Sword to attack Yusei, leaving Yusei to realize that Sayer is a psychic duelist. Back at the duel, Misty has found her designated 2nd dueling location and draws, activating Sad Story - Unwavering Truth to bring another memory back to Akiza and shuffle any Spell Card drawn during the Draw Phase back into the owner's Deck.
While Akiza wonders why Misty would put herself in the same predicament, Misty attacks directly with RS, leaving Akiza down to 3900 LPs. Up above, Sayer continues his assault and gets Yusei trapped inside with Mina but Yusei manages to at least trigger movement from Mina as they sit in a room now filling with water. Back at the duel, due to ML's effect, RS can attack again since Misty has no other monsters out and does so, leaving Akiza down to 3800 LPs. She sets 1 card to end her turn. All Akiza can do is set 1 card face down (though you could always set Hedge Guard).
After moving the duel to another location, Misty draws and activates Sad Story - Atrocious Day to remind Akiza of another memory and preventing Trap Cards drawn from the Deck during the Draw Phase from being played while adding that what the investigation found may have been a cover up (though I'm with Akiza as things like that are nonsense because some people always look for something to cling to and cannot accept that there's another possible outcome). Akiza activates Illusion Destruction to put RS face down but RS is destroyed since it was targeted by a card effect. Regardless of whether or not likes the story thus far, Misty activates Sorrowful Chain to bring the final piece of the story back to life.
Elsewhere, Trudge finds a Security Bureau ID and is furious after finding out the ID is Mina's and has a Jack Atlas sticker inside but Mina needs his help so  he runs over to put his frustration aside. At the duel, Akiza questions the idea of Misty's story being true and trips but Sayer saves her from the fall and explains what happened. When he brings up the location to the entrance of the Netherworld, it reignites Akiza's powers. Trudge comes to Mina and Yusei's aid but while he struggles to open the hatch, Misty uses SC's effect to Special Summon Dragon Queen of Tragic Endings (1900) in Attack Mode. (The real DQoTE must be Special Summoned by its method first.) Not even taking 1900 damage to leave her score at 1900 changes the expression on Akiza's face. Then, due to DQoTE's effect, Akiza discards Hedge Guard while Misty draws 1 card.

Akiza draws but doesn't care for her new draw and shuffles it back into the Deck by SSSM's effect. Next she summons Witch of the Black Rose (1700) in Attack Mode and uses its effect to get  Rose Fairy (600), which she Special Summons by its effect in Attack Mode. (The real RF must be added from the Deck to the hand by an effect, which is different from being drawn.) Then, since WotBR is a Tuner (which they don't tell you), she uses her monsters as Synchro Material for Black Rose Dragon (2400) in Attack Mode. Soon, Sayer and Akiza will expand the Arcadia Movement together!
