Episode 120: Inter-Dimension Detention

On the helicopter pad where Jaden had just vanquished Viper, the gang feel the pad tilt slightly. They somehow manage to get off it and Syrus questions why there are three suns in the sky. Hassleberry figures it might explain why the ocean is a gigantic sandbox. Jaden figures the glowing figure might have something to do with it. Jim points out that the rock formation is cut-off and suggests that there wasn't ever an ocean to begin with. Suddenly, the helicopter pad crumbles along with the rock formation and as Syrus tries to run, Axel Brodie catches his leg. Up in Sheppard's office, Bonaparte asks Crowler to pinch him as he must be dreaming, right? He and Crowler can't both be having the same dream and Crowler calls DA maintenance to no avail. They then see what they think is a bird or a plain. In fact, it's a Harpie Lady and it picks Crowler up. Bonaparte decides to tag along but Crowler wants him off as he's too heavy.

Winged Kuriboh decides to try but quickly faints. (What is this, Pokémon?) Jesse decides to help as well by playing Crystal Beast Sapphire Pegasus (1800) in Attack Mode and has it scare off the Harpie Lady and ends up carrying WK in it's mouth. They decide to head inside, seeing as it looks to be the only thing unchanged. They enter Ms Fontane's room with Axel and Jaden as Chazz gets up and says he's sick of this place but learns that they're all in another dimension where duel monsters can come to life. Syrus scolds Crowler and Bonaparte as they're supposed to be the one in charge. Alexis says they should round up the students and meet in the gymnasium, which is the exact plan Crowler had in mind as Bonaparte asks how long it took him to come up with the plan. Meanwhile, Adrian asks about "the hand" 's payment of sharing its power and it tells Adrian that he'll get what he wanted. Back in the gym, Jim struggles to get them settled down and two of them start a brief argument and bolt for the exit but Shirley blocks their way as Jim says she'll be the nicest thing they meet.

Adrian arrives, saying someone's coming their way. As it turns out, it's Bastion, whose clothing is torn and he's using a stick to walk. He calls out to them but Harpie Lady returns with a few tricks up her sleeve. Jesse calls on his Sapphire Pegasus again but Harpie Lady activates Elegant Egotist to become Harpie Lady Sisters (1950) in Attack Mode and equips each other with Cyber Shield, leaving their ATKs at 2450 and they start charging after Sapphire Pegasus. A few rounds of this takes down Sapphire Pegasus. However, SP isn't quite down yet Jesse decides to bring out Crystal Beast Topaz Tiger (1600) in Attack Mode and attacks one of the Harpie Lady Sisters, destroying it. (Apparently they still aren't using the fact that Harpie Lady Sisters is ONE monster.) Then he orders SP to take down another. Next his Bio Band activates and the group returns to Ms Fontane's room. Inside her room, Jaden awakens after supposedly "getting a chill in the air" and asks about Axel and learns that he'll be fine.

Jesse's group enters to show two more people needing to be examined. Bastion explains how he took up Eisenstein's theory of 12 dimensions but something went wrong and he ended up in the "desert" where Jaden and his group are now. Next he goes on a bit berserk, telling Jaden that the spirits are alive but Jesse and Jim hold him back, saying he just needs rest. On board a helicopter, one of the pilots says Sheppard might want to have a look. Sheppard knew the school was there when he left but now he is briefly attacked by one of the crew that was aboard the submarine Adrian called for and she demands to know where a student is. Pegasus is on board another helicopter, telling about a call he received from Kaiba Corp, though not much info is known at the moment but he knows where to start digging. Later that night, Chazz says there's no crying at DA but the Ojama brothers complain that there are monsters out there. Chazz reminds them they're monsters and wants to know if they can still fly and boots them out. Syrus isn't liking this, asking if this is how it's going to end. Hassleberry figures a rescue team is coming here and Alexis ponders where exactly here is.

Inside DA, Jesse asks about Axel and Jim says he'll be fine as Ms Fontane helped him out. Jesse then asks if the croc ever gets heavy. Meanwhile, Adrian returns to where he put the hand but the hand is gone so he darts after it since they had a deal. The "hand" now an actual spirit, hops through the hallways, sensing a dark power and finally reaches it while students inside ponder their situation. Blair asks Marcel (whom has a French accent like Bonaparte so maybe he's Bonaparte's son?) if he wants to take a walk and Marcel puts a little humor into the mix but as he tells another joke, Hand Spirit (I'm calling that spirit that was formerly that hand this now) is the one to ask who's there. Jaden awakens, asking if Axel is awake and he briefly opens his eyes, then turns away. Jaden thanks him for what he did back there and Axel tells him he's welcome and to get some sleep but before either of them can, they hear a scream and follow after it. They find Blair on the floor as she says it took Marcel and Axel finds a mysterious scratch on her arm, which Jaden says is fixable by Ms Fontane so the group splits with part taking Blair to Ms Fontane. Elsewhere, Adrian is still hunting for "it". Hand Spirit finds that Marcel is a perfect fit. Jaden is now carrying Blair to Ms Fontane's room, asking Blair to hold on.
