Episode 112: Head in the Clouds (2)

At the duel, Jaden says Adrian's losing big time but Jesse adds that at least he isn't losing his cool, unlike Chazz who never had a cool to begin with. Adrian tributes his 4 tokens for Cloudian - Nimbusman (1000) in Attack Mode, whom gets 500 ATK for each monster Tributed, putting its ATK at 3000 and the same ATK gain is deducted from Chazz's monster, putting its ATK at 1000. (The real card doesn't lower ATK of the opponent's monster and instead gains 500 ATK for each Fog Counter on it, rather than the number of monsters used to Tribute Summon it).

Chazz activates Hyper Coat, reversing all effects done to his monster and giving it 500 more ATK, putting its ATK at 3500 but lowering Adrian's score to 700 since his Nimbusman had less ATK and can't be destroyed in battle but Chazz can remove it from play (yet he chooses not to). Adrian's about to get chazz'd but before he does, he activates Rain Storm, letting Adrian destroy 1 of Chazz's cards by lowering his own monster's ATK by 1000, leaving it with 2500 and destroying Hyper Coat, leaving Chazz with 2800 and VWXYZ with 3000.

With Natural Disaster, Chazz takes 400 damage each time one of his cards is destroyed. (The real card inflicts 500 damage and only gets the effect if the opponent's cards were destroyed by the effects of a Cloudian monster) Oops! At 4:32 into the US episode, as Adrian explains the not-so-uncommon rules of Yu-Gi-Oh anime, Chazz has XYZ's card on his Duel Disk in the US!

Adrian uses his Rain Storm's effect twice more to lower Nimbusman's ATK to 0, destroy Chazz's Field Spell and VWXYZ and leave Chazz with 2000. Chazz uses Dimensional Catapult to bring back his VWXYZ-Dragon Catapult Cannon (3000) in Attack Mode. He attacks but Adrian activates Mirage Target to send his monster to the Grave and gain LPs equal to its ATK, raising his score to 1700. Chazz ends his turn so Adrian draws, playing Cloudian - Ghost Fog (0000) in Attack Mode and attacks, destroying itself and putting Fog Counters on Chazz's monster equal to its Level of 8 but Adrian takes no Battle Damage when it gets destroyed. Next he uses Diamond-Dust Cyclone to destroy VWXYZ since it has Fog Counters on it, then draw cards for every 4 Fog Counters on it so he draws twice, dealing Chazz another 800 damage from ND's effect putting him at 1200. Then he uses Quick Summon to Normal Summon Cloudian - Poison Cloud (1000) in Defense Mode.

Chazz says Adrian makes him sick. They think they own the world but they don't. Chazz braved the elements to get his cards and defeated the Society of Light by himself. (Not even remotely close there, Chazz. You didn't free yourself from them, it was Jaden that defeated them all, including when YOU were amongst the SoL) He uses Graceful Charity to draw 3 cards, then discard 2. Next he uses Desperado Manager to draw 2 cards, then return 3 cards in his hand to the top of his deck. He chooses the Ojama monsters (added to his hand by the effect of Ojamagic that he discarded with GC).

Then he uses Enchanting Room (actually Enchanting Fitting Room) to pay 800 LPs and pick up the top 4 cards and if any of them are Level 3 or lower monsters, he can play them (it has to be Level 3 or lower Normal monsters in the CG), lowering his score to 400 and brings out Ojama Black, Ojama Green, and Ojama Yellow (1000 x3) in Defense Mode. After that he plays Ojama Delta Thunder!! to deal Adrian 500 damage per card in his hand, leaving Adrian at 700. Now he plays Ojama Delta Hurricane!!, which by discarding it destroys all cards on Adrian's field. Oops, he calls it Ojama Delta Thunder instead! (What Chazz meant to say was that by discarding Ojaam Delta Hurricane, Ojama Delta Thunder's other effect destroys all cards on Adrian's field.)

Adrian draws, thinking he didn't want to do this but he has no choice and activates Wonder Cloud, forcing him to send all cards he controls and in his hand to the Grave, then draw 1 card for each card has (3 cards), and send the rest of his deck out of play. Next he uses Big Summon Cloud, letting him play a Cloudian monster without Tributes by paying half his LPs, leaving his score at 350 as he brings out Cloudian - Eye of the Typhoon (3000) in Attack Mode and attacks with it, switching Chazz's monsters to Attack Mode, destroying them and winning the duel, sending Chazz off the platform and into the water.

At Viper's lair, Viper says Adrian was lucky all he did was drain his energy, then sees that Axel has entered and traps him with a trapdoor. Outside DA, Crowler finally admits that this might be more than the flu. He and Bonaparte rush to tell Sheppard they need his help but all they find is a note, saying that he had to leave due to an unexpected event. Crowler and Bonaparte are now in charge!
