Episode 79: Mirror Mirror (2)

At the duel, Syrus can't figure out what's going on so Hassleberry tries to help but to no avail. Sarina 1 draws, then tributes her Magic Mirror Spirits for Dark Creator (3000) in Attack Mode. Then, with 10 counters on FMM, she sends the card to the Grave for Infinite Fiend Mirror, letting Dark Creator multiply by 10. She attacks but Aster activates Elemental Recharge, giving both of them 1000 LPs per Elemental Hero they have, raising their score to 7000.

Sarina 1 proceeds with her attacks, destroying all of their monsters and leaving them with 3700. Then, due to TDC's effect, they take 700 damage per monster destroyed, leaving them with 1600. (A similar card was released in the TCG with the same name but a different effect). Jaden and Aster realize they're done since she can still attack, but Sarina 1 sets 1 card to end her turn. Jaden says it was a big mistake and draws.

Aster says Jaden should think before he acts. There must be a reason why she didn't attack. Jaden realizes the monsters couldn't attack. Sarina 1 activates Return Talisman, giving Jaden and Aster a token since they had no monsters at the End Phase (although Jaden never said he was done with his turn). Sarina 2 draws and attacks, destroying the token and leaving Jaden and aster with 900. Aster thinks it's time to show why he's a cut above the rest and draws, using Double Dude's effect to summon Double Dude Tokens. Then he tributes a token for Destiny Hero - Dasher (2100) in Attack Mode.

Next he tributes the other token for Dasher's effect, giving him 1000 ATK to 3100. He attacks TDC and the Sarina sisters' score drops to 2100 but TDC is still on the field as Sarina 2 explains that TDC can't be destroyed. Dasher goes to Defense Mode. Sarina 2 draws and attacks, destroying Dasher and leaving Jaden and Aster with 200. Aster hates to admit it but they're done. Jaden says the duel isn't over. Aster doesn't know whether to applaud him for not giving up or laugh at him for being the most naive amateur on Earth. Jaden draws.

After some pep talk from his monsters, he plays Neo-Spacian Dark Panther (1000) in Attack Mode, then uses its effect to take the effect of TDC, allowing him to use Infinite Fiend Mirror and give his team 10 tokens, 2 of which he tributes for Elemental Hero Neos (2500) in Attack Mode. Finally, he uses Contact Fusion to summon Elemental Hero Dark Neos (2500) in Attack Mode and uses his effect to negate TDC's effect. He attacks with the token, destroying the Sarinas' real TDC, therefore destroying the tokens. Finally, he attacks directly with Dark Neos, winning the duel. The Sarinas merge into one and Syrus and Hassleberry revert to normal. Aster must admit that what Jaden pulled off was unlike anything he'd ever seen.

Sarina tells about how her brother needs to be saved and asks Jaden and Aster to promise they will save him. She then tells about a Hero card that created the evil in Sartorius and split his spirit in two. The room begins shaking as Sarina tells everyone they're out of time and to escape to the exit. Jaden begs Sarina to go with them but she says she was meant to be here.

She disappears, saying they must save Sartorius. Everyone rushes to the exit and awakens in the pods. They walk out of the entrance to the Virtual World, along with the Light Brigade members. The gang get a ride on a bus back home. Sartorius and his crew are also on a bus where Sartorius is amazed that both duelists have survived, then realizes the future is at their fingertips, only two obstacles stand in their way!
