Inside a cave-like structure, a group is talking about the fact that their "boss" is coming home and everything is in place. On a boat, their "boss" is heading towards DA. At DA, Jaden asks Alexis how things are with her brother and she responds so-so. What brings them here? Banner says the law as he figured that since 3 of the spirit gates have been unlocked, he thought they should call the police (although the man next to banner isn't wearing a police-type uniform.) The man, whom decides to be called "Detective Zaloog") suggests they hide the keys. Once hidden, he tells them all to sleep.

Later that night, someone sneaks in and takes Alexis case with her valuables in it. Chazz awakens to Syrus and Jaden trying to tell him something but he can't hear them due to the earplugs in his ears. After repeating their story, they decide they must tell the others. Everyone says their story but it's followed by the cleaning up of the evidence. Chazz then exclaims its the other people but no one believes him so he shows them someone who did catch them, his Ojama cards, none of which can see the spirits but Chazz. Zaloog then says it's all of their group and that they are known as the Dark Scorpions. They have all the keys! Chazz smiles saying that to use them they have to defeat Chazz so they duel.

Zaloog plays Golem Sentry (1800) in Defense Mode and 1 card face down to end his turn. Chazz plays Fiend's Sanctuary, giving him a Metal Fiend Token (0000) in Attack Mode, which he tributes for Armed Dragon LV5 (2400) in Attack Mode. He attacks and destroys GS, then sets 2 cards and uses AD LV5's effect, which as he and Jaden explain, lets him summon Armed Dragon LV7 (2800) in Attack Mode. Zaloog says he can level it up all he wants, it won't matter for he plays Pot of Greed for 2 cards. Next he plays himself, Don Zaloog (1400) in Attack Mode. Then he plays Mustering of the Dark Scorpions, letting him play all the Dark Scorpion monsters in his hand so he brings out Gorg the Strong (1800), Meanae the Thorn (1000), Cliff the Trap Remover (1200) and Chick the Yellow (1000) all in Attack Mode.

Then he activates a Trap Card (Dark Scorpion Combination). Since he controls all the Dark Scorpions on the field, they can attack directly but their damage becomes 400. Chazz's score drops to 2000. Now their effects activate, which by Gorg's effect returns a monster Chazz controls to the top of his deck, by Chick's effect returns a card Chazz controls to his hand, by Cliff's effect, the top 2 cards of Chazz's deck go to his Grave, by Don's effect a card in Chazz's hand is destroyed and finally by Meanae's effect, they can add a Dark Scorpion card from the Grave to their hand. Chazz activates one of his face down cards, Level Modulation, letting him bring back Armed Dragon LV7 and giving Don 2 cards. Curiously, at 13:14 into the episode, both versions show LM as a Trap Card instead of a Spell Card.

 Don sets 2 cards face down. Chazz uses LV7's effect by discarding Despair from the Dark but Don activates Retreat of the Dark Scorpions, returning them to his hand. Chazz attacks directly, dropping Don's score to 1200. The other DS claim they will get him back. Don plays himself in Attack Mode. Next he uses Mustering of the Dark Scorpions but Chazz activates Ojama Trio, giving Don 3 Ojama tokens. Don still brings out Meanae then uses Dark Scorpion - Tragedy of Love, which sends Meanae to the Grave and destroys all of Chazz's monsters. Since Chazz is wide-open, he attacks directly, bringing Chazz down to 600. With his own effect, Chazz loses a random card and it's one he doesn't mind losing for it's Ojamagic, which lets him add the 3 Ojamas from his deck to his hand since it was sent to the Graveyard. Chazz plays Pot of Greed, allowing him to draw twice.

Then he uses Poly to bring out Ojama King (0000) in Attack Mode. Next he activates Ojamuscle, destroying all Ojama cards out and giving OK 1000 ATK for each one. Since the destroyed Ojama cards were the tokens, Don loses 900 points leaving him with 300. OK's ATK rises to 3000 and he finishes off Don's LPs. The scorpions disappear and Chazz picks up the Millennium Eye-like thing and the card, saying that's one less Shadow Rider they have to worry about. Chumley says good riddens and Banner agrees, saying that the Spirit Keys are back in safe hands.  Alexis wonders what happened to the DS monster. Jaden doesn't know but Chazz seems concerned. Later that night, Chazz puts the earplugs back into his ears and starts sleeping but all the DS and Ojama Yellow are having a party.
