Episode 26: School Duel (2)

The duel rages on as Chazz continues his attack but Jaden activates Hero Sprit, reducing Jaden's LPs to 0 since an Elemental Hero monster was destroyed. (The real card can only activate if the Elemental Hero monster was destroyed in battle.) Chazz is glad that Jaden can use a thesaurus but it'll take more than words to defeat his Armed Dragon, Jaden's toast! Jaden plays Winged Kuriboh (0200) in Defense Mode and ends his turn. WK motions to Jaden that Chazz has a Duel Spirit.

Chazz tries to hide but at first cannot but eventually he succeeds. Chazz attacks and destroys WK. Why didn't he use AD's ability? Bastion explains that WK would cancel it out since it reduces damage to 0 the turn it's destroyed. He ends his turn. Jaden plays Pot of Greed for 2 cards, then plays Special Hurricane, which by discarding a card, lets him destroy any monster that was Special Summoned. (The real card destroys all Special Summoned monsters.) He then plays Elemental Hero Wildheart (1500) in Attack Mode and attacks Chazz directly, putting his score to 2100.

Chazz plays Graveyard in the Fourth Dimension. (The real card's name is The Graveyard in the Fourth Dimension.) It lets him take 2 monsters from his Graveyard and shuffle them into his deck but they have to be a special kind of monster but it's the ones he needs and he happens to have another on in his hand. He plays Armed Dragon LV3 in Defense Mode. "Jaden's about to be washed up!" Chazz says and sets a card face down. Jaden attacks AD LV3 with Wildheart, destroying it and activating Chazz's Trap Card, The Grave of Enkindling, letting them both pick a monster and summon it in Defense Mode.

He chooses Armed Dragon LV5 and Jaden chooses Hero Kid (0600) in Defense Mode and by his effect, Jaden can play all other HK cards from his deck so he plays two more in Defense Mode, then sets a card face down to end his turn. Chazz plays Level Up!, letting him level up a monster and he plays Armed Dragon LV7 in Attack Mode. Next he equips his monster with Armed Changer, which by discarding an Equip Spell, he can use it. He attacks with Armed Dragon, destroying Wildheart and dropping Jaden's score to 300. Chazz says that Jaden's kids got grounded...grounded up and laughs. If Jaden surrenders now, Chazz won't embarrass him on live television, but he already did!

Jaden plays The Warrior Returning Alive, letting him retrieve Avian from the Graveyard and to his hand. Next, with Poly, he plays Elemental Hero Flame Wingman (2100) in Attack Mode. Chazz says his monster isn't strong enough but Jaden activates Miracle Kids, decreasing the ATK of AD LV7 by 400 points for every Hero Kid in Jaden's Graveyard and with 3 total, AD LV7 loses 1200 ATK, leaving it with 1600. He attacks with FW, destroying AD and dropping Chazz's score to 1600.

Then, as Bastion and Alexis state, FW, deals Chazz damage equal to his destroyed monster's ATK, reducing his score to 0. His brothers yell at him, saying he's a dog and a nobody. Jaden tells them that while he lost the duel, he won the duel against his brothers. His brothers respond with the fact that Chazz got schooled on live TV. Nonetheless, everyone chants Chazz's new "catchphrase". The brothers leave and now there's just one problem to settle. He asks Sheppard if he can come back to DA and Sheppard says yes.

The NA students ask of Chazz is sure and Chazz says he is, DA has always been his home. Crowler announces the prize for winning the School Duel, Dorothy kissing Sheppard. A teary-eyed Foster leaves DA as Sheppard tells him he'll take care of her for him. The NA students ask for one final cheer and state Chazz's catchphrase one last time. Banner adds that since Chazz dropped out of DA and now returned, he his technically a new student and must start at Slifer Red. Chazz states that he rooms alone. "Do cockroaches count?" Syrus asks. Jaden proposes they give Chazz the Slifer cheer, which they spell out Slifer. Can't they just stick to "Chazz it up"? The students add "Or Slifer it up". (Even I would prefer Chazz it up despite hearing it 25 times in the episode.) Foster announces that he will come back for Dorothy.
