Episode 2: Welcome to Duel Academy

Other students arrive by helicopter but Jaden struggles to find his way around until Bastion helps him out. Jaden then heads inside with Syrus to find that they aren't alone as Chumley Huffington is sleeping until they unwittingly wake him up. Having taken the class before, Chumley fills the duo in on the rules and the structure of the dorms. Meanwhile, Chazz is in the Obelisk Blue dorm where he and two others chat about Jaden's victory over Crowler. At dinner time, the group meet Lyman Banner, whom wants to do an activity first but Jaden's comment allows them to dig into the food prepared for them. That night, Jaden gets a call from Chazz to Duel in the Obelisk Blue arena to prove whether or not the victory was a fluke. Jaden agrees but Alexis knows the consequences of their actions. Jaden quickly gains the upper hand until Chazz uses a card that gives him control of Jaden's monster. Chazz then brings Jaden on the brink of defeat untol Jaden uses a Trap Card of his own to regain his monster and take down Chazz's. Just when Jaden could lose, trouble arrives and the Duel is cut short. Later, Jaden proves why he really won the Duel anyway.
