Episode 154: My Freaky Valentine (3)

At the duel, Joey shows everyone watching his Claw of Hermos card but Raphael protests that having it doesn't mean he knows how to use it. Meanwhile, Duke races down the hallway and finds the room to the security system and now needs to figure out how it works. Back at the duel, Joey uses Monster Reborn on his The Fiend Megacyber. Next he plays Time Wizard (500) in Attack Mode. Then he brings out Claw of Hermos. Using Hermos' ability, he combines it with his Time Wizard for.....a croquet hammer with wings and even Joey isn't thrilled. Nevertheless, Joey's monster acquires the hammer and attacks but Mai activates Harpie Lady Sparrow Formation to negate the attack but Joey's attack still prevails, giving each of Mai's monsters a number (and I don't get what Valon's joke of "alphabet" is unless it's like Greek alphabet but that still makes it lame).

With nothing more from the hammer, Joey ends his turn. Mai draws and her monsters are suddenly sucked into a hole that remains afterwards, giving Yami a theory that Mai's monsters aren't gone for good. All Mai can do is set 1 card so Joey attacks her directly, leaving her score down to 1400. With that, he sets 1 card to end his turn. Mai isn't looking so good, at least for a few seconds before she regains her anger and draws, surprised to see Harpie's Pet Dragon return. Yami realizes that the numbers indicate a different turn in time and since HPD had a 1, it went 1 turn into the future. Mai attacks but Joey activates Skull Dice, whose die result yields a two, halving HPD's ATK to 1250. As a result, it's destroyed by TFM, leaving Mai's score down to 450. Now Mai is totally trembling and Valon seizes this opportunity to unlock the Seal of Orechalkos, ending the duel. Raphael is upset, stating that he betrayed Dartz to save "some girl". He vows to make up for this by taking Yami's soul and disappears in a flash of the Orichalcos light.

As a bonus, Duke cracked the security system and the gates open. The gang rush to Joey's side and Joey awakens to discover that Mai has been taken. Furthermore, Kaiba's jet lands and Kaiba isn't happy to see Yugi or any of his friends. Nonetheless, Kaiba asks about Pegasus but learns  of the truth, then Mokuba explains where Kaiba experienced the Seal of Orechalkos before. Yami remembers the video tape he was sent and takes out the card with a key in its artwork and decide to try it with the one door that didn't unlock, even with the security cracked. While the gang arrive at the door, Rex and Weevil start a plan to sneak in. Sure enough, the door is opened simply by sliding the card into the slot. Inside are several statues of Toon World and other monsters Pegasus used.

A hologram of Pegasus appears, explaining his story and who's behind it. He adds that there's also a one-of-a-kind card capable of defeating Dartz somewhere in the room. Yami remembers Pot of Greed's role in the game and Tristan gets to the Pot of Greed statue first, pulling out a blank card that Kaiba thinks is worthless but Yami isn't so sure. Kaiba rants that the whole thing is a set up by Pegasus to take over Kaiba Corp but Yami protests that Kaiba needs to open his eyes and shows him his Eye of Timaeus card. When the other two join with theirs, the cards glow and Yami concludes that all three must be used to defeat Dartz.
