Episode 85: Rage of the Egyptian Gods

Inside each of their assigned rooms, they hear Roland's announcement of a 30 minute break before the next duel, though Yugi and crew are already outside, intent on finding Kaiba to land the blimp for Bakura's eventual aid. Mokuba had just rode the elevator to this floor and warns that where they are is restricted. When asked about Kaiba's room, he points it out but before his warning can be acknowledged, Joey angrily bangs on Kaiba's door but isn't too happy when Kaiba emerges. Worse still, he declines any requests to land the blimp but still requests medics to Bakura's room. The group leaves Kaiba alone, hoping the doctors are as good as they've been told.

They decide to continue looking for the Millennium Ring but Tristan says he and Duke will go look, dragging Duke away from his prized love Serenity. They reach the top to find nothing up there and end up hurling insults until Tristan reaches his boiling point but trips, sending both over the blimp's edge. Luckily, Tristan just manages to grab a small bit of the blimp to hang on to. It isn't long before Tristan loses his grip but they're saved by Shadi (from Duelist Kingdom if you recall) but before a thanks can be received, Shadi disappears.Meanwhile, Yugi has laid out his deck (with some cards changed to be less related to his deck for some reason as shown at 7:22 into the US episode, including Cyber Jar as a Spell Card) when Shadi appears, explaining that everything needed to destroy or save the world is right on board and the catastrophic result that could unfold nearly happened when Pegasus created Duel Monsters and shares these events.

When Yugi becomes Yami, Shadi shows his respect and gets little more than a sentence out when Roland makes the announcement for remaining duelists to return for the next duel in the tournament. Yami wants to continue talking to him but Shadi is nowhere to be found. He steps outside, where Tristan and Duke try explaining their story, which Joey isn't buying. Elsewhere, Ishizu worries about her brother when Shadi arrives, making a brief statement before disappearing again. He returns to where Tea` is watching Bakura after Marik mentally says he'll keep the Millennium Ring and occasional mind control on Tea`. He feels as though certain destinies of Millennium Items are being manipulated and until harmony is restored, the world will be in grave peril!
