Episode 134: For Synchro's Sake
At the duel, all Jacob knows is that Crow left a Synchro Monster and considers it a parting gift for his Meklord Emperor Granel to absorb. Lester isn't worried but Primo gives credit where it's due and figures Yusei will put up a great fight. The rest of Team 5Ds can't understand why Crow left the Synchro but while the others watch Crow and Jack remain motionless, Yusei understands that Crow left the Synchro because he thought it'd help Yusei win and Yusei will do his best to prove Crow right. Yusei draws and summons Wave Wall (2000) in Defense Mode before setting 2 cards to end his turn. Jacob draws and attacks with Granel but Yusei uses WW's effect to negate the attack for each Synchro on his field.
However, Jacob activates Attack Cannon to destroy 1 BWD on Yusei's field since MEG didn't destroy a monster by sending Granel Attack to the Graveyard. This is more than enough reason for Yusei to go all out and activates Shadow Impulse to replace BWD with Stardust Dragon (0000) in Attack Mode without its effects and its ATK made 0. (The real card doesn't negate its effects or affect its ATK.) Nevertheless, Jacob summons Granel
Attack 3
(1800) in Attack Mode and attaches it to MEG. Next he uses Speed Spell - Silent Burn to deal Yusei 300 damage for each monster that didn't attack since he has at least 4 Speed Counters, leaving Yusei down by 1200 for the four Meklord Emperor parts to 2800.
Jacob is enjoying how Yusei isn't giving in and sets 1 card to end his turn. Since Yusei still believes that fate is controlled by one person (and he's right), Jacob takes them to the world of the future thanks to Synchros and was one of the three people to pay the price for the results and we see Meklord Emperors appearing and attacking the city. Jacob adds that he was one of the ones there and therefore what he's telling the others is true. Back in reality, Crow and Jack are in shock, unable to make sense of what they just saw. Willing to prove that Jacob is wrong, Yusei draws and summons Mono Synchron (0000) in Attack Mode. If MS becomes Synchro Material, the other material becomes Level 1, making WW Level 1 as he uses WW and MS as Synchro Material for Formula Synchron (200) in Attack Mode. (The real card can only use Warrior or Machine-Type monsters as non-Tuners.)

Next, he uses FS and SD as Synchro Material for Shooting Star Dragon (3300) in Attack Mode. He gets 5 Tuenrs and thus can attack with it 5 times. His first attack prompts Jacob to make RND the attack target but Yusei activates Synchro Striker Unit to give SSD 1000 ATK to 4300, leaving MEG down to 14,700 ATK and Jacob down to 11,200 LPs. His attacks continue, lowering MEG and Jacob's points each time until MEG is destroyed, leaving Jacob down to 3900 LPs. To end his turn, Yusei sets 2 cards and SSU's effect reduces SSD's ATK by 800 to 3500. Jacob is now forced to take drastic measures and combines with Lester and Primo into Aporia.
