Episode 128: Yusei's Last Stand
At the duel, Haldor admits that Yusei was wise to trap the Nordic Gods but with Odin out, that no longer matters as he uses Odin's effect to negate Monster Chain, freeing his monsters. (The real card become unaffected by other Spell and Trap Cards that turn.) His attacks leave Yusei defenseless and Lester is excited at how their circuits are being built, figuring that it'll be nearly complete come the final match. Haldor sets 1 card to end his turn, leaving his monsters to become affected by Monster Chain, which loses a counter to leave it with 2. He's waited a long time for this and recalls the time when he first received Odin. Only Yusei stands in his way now and offers Yusei a chance to surrender but Yusei draws and has a tale of his own. He believes the object in the sky is his father's Shadow and obtains the powers of the Crimson Dragon.
He draws and plays Speed Spell - Angel Baton to draw 2 cards and discard 1 (Quillbolt Hedgehog). Next he summons Debris Dragon (1000) in Attack Mode and uses its effect to Special Summon Cosmic Compass (100) in Attack Mode. After that, he uses Quillbolt Hedgehog's effect from the Graveyard to Special Summon itself (800) in Attack Mode. Since he Special Summoned from the Graveyard, he Special Summons Doppelwarrior (800) in Attack Mode. Now he uses Doppelwarrior, Quillbolt Hedgehog and Debris Dragon as Synchro Material for Stardust Dragon (2500) in Attack Mode. Since Doppelwarrior was Synchro Material, Yusei gets a Doppelwarrior Token (400) in Attack Mode. (The real card Special Summons 2 Doppel Tokens.) Then he uses Speed Spell - Overtune to Tribute his token for Majestic Dragon (0000) in Attack Mode since he has 5 Speed Counters.

Now he uses his monsters as Synchro Material for Majestic Star Dragon (3800) in Attack Mode. Since CC was Synchro Material, Yusei gets to draw 1 card. (Not so with the real card.) Then he sets 1 card to end his turn and uses Stay Force to pay 1000 LPs and keep MSD on the field, brining him down to 3000 LPs. Haldor is taking extra precautions to secure his victory and draws before activating Odin's Eye, which can't be negated by MSD's effect and lets Haldor look at a face down card on Yusei's field or all cards in Yusei's hand by negating his Aesir's effects. (The real card is a a Continuous Trap that lets you see all face down cards your opponent controls.)

Haldor now knows Yusei has Wave Rebound face down and won't allow the chain of events to occur.
It's most exciting when players strategize (though not in my book because nothing physically is happening and it's not like you know what they're scheming) and Haldor sets 1 card to end his turn. Bruno notes that Yusei can keep MSD out for 3 more turns (not so in the CG because you'd have exactly 1000 LPs by the end of the 2nd turn and literally cannot afford to pay it by game rules). Yusei draws and uses Speed World 2's effect to draw 1 card by removing all 7 of his Speed Counters.
Next he pays 1000 Life Points to keep MSD and Stay Force on the field, bringing his score down to 2000. Haldor draws and having strategized, uses Odin's effect to everyone's surprise but Yusei counters with MSD's effect to Tribute itself, negate the effect and destroy all of Haldor's cards on the field.  Haldor sets 1 card to end his turn, reviving Thor (3500), Loki (3300), and Odin (4000) in Attack Mode by their effects (" "). As a result, Yusei activates Wave Rebound to get rid of them for good but Haldor is ready with Gjallarhorn from his Graveyard to become victorious. Yusei is about to feel the full wrath of the Nordic Gods!
