Episode 4: A Blast from the Past (1)

Yusei has arrived where Jack is waiting and the two share conversation about the past. Jack doesn't need the Stardust Dragon card anymore and throws it to Yusei but Yusei throws it back, wanting to make Jack pay for what he did more and to earn the card. They set off on a journey to the Kaiba Dome and Jack thought Yusei would like the view of New Domino City before he's shipped back to Satellite. Meanwhile, Goodwin listens to what the professor has to say as he spins like a top until Goodwin says to get to the point and is shown that there's more energy being created than previously thought. A woman enters, revealed as Mina to tell Goodwin that Jack is missing and tells the professor to find out what it's capable of without the additional dancing.

The duo arrive where another man is waiting, revealed as Lazar, whom tells that they found Jack. Goodwin orders to keep the duel private because a Satellite duelist isn't normally allowed to duel a New Domino City duelist. The duel preparations get underway as Jack slides the stolen Stardust Dragon card. The duelists take a lap before Yusei summons Quillbolt Hedgehog (800) in Defense Mode. Jack summons Mad Archfiend (1800) in Attack Mode and takes out QH, leaving Yusei down to 3000 by MA's effect. Yusei draw and brings out Junk Synchron (1300) in Attack Mode, then uses its effect to bring back QH. Next he uses his monsters as Synchro Material for Junk Warrior (2300) in Attack Mode and takes out MA with its attack, leaving Jack down to 3500 LPs.

Jack draws and summons Twin-Shield Defender (1600) in Defense Mode, then sets 1 card to end his turn. Yusei draws and brings out Speed Warrior (900) in Attack Mode and raising JW's ATK by 900 to 3200. Furthermore, SW's ATK doubles this turn, making its ATK 1800. Yusei attacks with SW, destroying TSD and leaving JW down to 1600 ATK by TSD's effect. Nevertheless, he attacks directly with JW, leaving Jack down to 1900 LPs. Oops! They have Jack's LPs shown in an ATK graphic from 14:00 to 14:01 into the US episode! Jack adds that what Yusei did to save him was a set-up to get him closer to the Duel Runner. Furthermore, he activates Spacegate, which gets a counter each time Yusei attacks him (which since it was activated after the attacks, it wouldn't have any in the CG). Yusei sets 1 card to end his turn, returning both his monsters' ATKs to what they were before the turn began.

Jack draws and activates Speed Spell - Speed Fusion to send the Big Piece and Medium Piece Golems in his hand to the Grave for Multiple Piece Golem (2600) in Attack Mode. His attack destroys SW but Yusei activates Defense Draw to make the Battle Damage from the attack to 0 and draw 1 card. However, Jack uses MPG's effect to swap it for Big Piece Golem (2100) and Medium Piece Golem (1600) in Attack Mode. Furthermore, he uses MPG's effect to Special Summon Small Piece Golem (1100) in Attack Mode. Next he summons Dark Resonator (1300) in Attack Mode and uses it and BPG as Synchro Material for Red Dragon Archfiend (3000) in Attack Mode. Jack isn't done yet as he uses Spacegate's effect to send it to the Grave to Special Summon Sinister Sprocket (400) in Attack Mode and uses it along with MPG and SPG as Synchro Material for Stardust Dragon (2500) in Attack Mode. (They interrupt again for the same bit of info on Stardust Dragon too?)

Mina is now learning why Jack is the current champion and would never lose to a Satellite. Yusei's SD is here and he'd better be careful what he wishes for!
