Episode 172: Fighting for a Friend (4)

While the gang search for Joey, Joey is busy Dueling against Valon and barely holding on. Valon isn't faring much better but manages to reassemble his suit but Joey counters by snatching 1 of Valon's cards with a Trap Card. Next he randomly brings back his legendary dragon before making another Equip Card with it. Valon loses but now he wants to contend with Mai, whom shows no interest in complying with him. In spite of how drained he is, Joey manages to bring out a strong monster before the Field Spell of doom arrives. Now Joey has to go on the defensive and save Mai or lose his soul trying.

Deviations from the TCG
1. Players started with only 4000 LP.
2. The Claw of Hermos was a one-of-a-kind unique card that doubled as a monster and could combine with other cards to create Equip Cards.

3. Flame Swordsman was a Normal Monster.
4. Graverobber could take any card from the opponent's Graveyard and Summon or activate it free of charge.

5. Valon was able to equip himself with his monsters.
