Episode 157: Fate of the Pharaoh (2)

Yami finds himself against Raphael's monster and uses his Kuriboh brothers' effect to block the attack. Rex and Weevil arrive and assess the situaton before Yami brings out his legendary dragon and makes a new Fusion Monster with it and a classic Spellcaster. Raphael saves his monster for 1000 LP using a Spell Card before giving Yami the 1 card he doesn't want. Furthermore, Raphael traps Yami's monster, then brings out another of his treasured monsters. With less than half his LP remaining, Yami tries his luck with a Spell Card to draw extra cards but only 1 card in his updated hand can turn things around and when he plays it, his monster is free but his attitude changes drastically.

Deviations from the TCG

1. Players started with only 4000 LP.
2. The Seal of Orichalcos corrupted the user that activated it and took the soul of the loser in the Duel it was used in.

3. Big Shield Gardna was a Normal Monster.
4. Rod of Silence - Kay'est was called "Rod of Silence" in the Dub.
5. Exchange had different artwork in the Dub.
6. Card of Sanctity had different artwork and forced both players to draw cards until they had 6 cards in their hands.

7. The Eye of Timaeus was a one-of-a-kind unique card that doubled as a monster and could fuse with other monsters on the owner's field.
