Joey faces Ra's full wrath but manages to remain standing, leaving Marik defenseless as his turn ends and risking his defeat and loss of Ra. Joey brings out his monster but cannot proceed to attacking Marik directly with it and collapses, leaving Marik to win by default. Joey is put in the hospital, where he dreams of being in a Duelist Kingdom era tournament. Unfortunately, attempts to get a helicopter to arrive are proving fruitless for Mokuba but Yami now faces Kaiba for even higher stakes as he cannot afford to come up short.
