Yami continues to suffer the effects of Lumis' mask cards but Lumis and Umbra struggle to maintain their own delicate teamwork and Kaiba opts to take advantage of that. While Tea` and Mokuba work to escape their own predicament, Yami tells Kaiba to attack The Masked Beast with his Blue-Eyes but Kaiba thinks it's a trick but it turns out not to be the case as Yami had activated his monster's effect in the Graveyard. Lumis and Umbra struggle to make a comeback as Yami counters Lumis' Equip Spell, costing Umbra half his LP. Umbra then saves himself with a Spell Card of his own, leaving Lumis wondering if he'd have been saved had he been attacked. Nevertheless, Lumis starts to regain control  of the Duel by using Umbra's cards to bring out a monster stronger than Kaiba's Blue-Eyes.
