A Duelist has just won a Duel but their opponent's rarest card isn't good enough for them so they demand a 2nd card. However, Mokuba intervenes to put a stop to the bullying but the bully isn't swayed so Kaiba shows up to provide backup. Kaiba decides to teach the bully a lesson with a Duel with the bully being able to use the rare cards in Kaiba'a briefcase. Unfortuantely for the bully, Kaiba goes first and plays the one card that is capable of hammering home a lesson. Marik gets word of Kaiba's claim of Obelisk and sends his henchmen Arkana to deal with Yami. Elsewhere, Yami, Tea ` and Solomon wander about with Yami moving further ahead and finding a jester waiting for him, urging Yami to follow.

Yami does follow with Tea` and Solomon following only after they see Yami acting suspiciously. Their journey leads them into a tent where Yami disappears inside a box. While Tea` and Solomon look around for where Yami could've gone, Yami has made his way to a computer that has hacked into the Kaiba Corp Database and found Yami's data. Furthermore, Yami's Dark Magician appears in hologram form and ridicules him for being unworthy of having such a card. The card was played via Arkana's Duel Disk and Arkana is forcing Yami to Duel for the ownership of Dark Magician.

With the room they're in being too small, Arkana leads Yami downstairs to a special Dueling arena where the stakes couldn't be higher. In spite of Arkana's questionable shuffling methods, Yami gains the upper hand by not only resetting the players' hands but also bringing Arkana down to less than half his LP. Arkana isn't giving up yet and still intends to send Yami to the Shadow Realm.
