Episode 61: The Master of Magicians (2)

Arkana knows full well he needs to go on the defensive to even have a chance at beating Yami and manages to not only get one but lure Yami into a Trap of his own. With each Duelist having Dark Magician out, it's time for the true strategist to win and both are able to be somewhat successful. However, Arkana gets the upper hand by putting Yami's Dark Magician out of play and attacking directly. Yami brings out a monster with high DEF but Arkana finds a way around that with a powerful Continuous Spell.

Episode Cards
DUEL 1: Yami: BtMW, MH, De-Spell, DM (via Monster Reborn), MR, MyRe, BSG
                Arkana:
MT, DR, DM (2x, via DR and MR), MG, TK, BttD, NC, MDoD, Ectoplasmer
Deviations from the TCG
1. Players started with only 4000 LP.
2. Ectoplasmer drained the soul of monsters on the field to deliver half their ATK to their opponent's LP and would apply to both players at the time if they both controlled a monster with the same name.

3. Malice Doll of Demise was a Normal Monster with different artwork.
4. Big Shield Gardna was a Normal Monster.
5. De-Spell was called "Cursebreaker" in the Dub and had different artwork.
6. Thousand Knives was called "A Thousand Knives" in the Dub.
7. Magical Hats was a Spell Card with different artwork that could hide monsters underneath the hats.
Errors
1. Malice Doll of Demise's card was a Level 5 monster in the Dub.
2. In the Dub, Yami says Mystic Tomato is a weak defense and intends on attacking directly but has either forgotten about Mystic Tomato's effect or believes Arkana has nothing to bring out with its effect.

3. Mystic Tomato's hologram image wasn't edited to match the card's artwork in the Dub.
