Episode 59: Espa Roba, the ESP Duelist (2)

While Tristan fibs to Serenity about the status of the Duel, Joey stares down Jinzo but gets a plan to use his classic monster combo. It works on Baby Dragon but not Jinzo and Joey learns the hard way as to why. Espa Roba then makes Jinzo even harder to stop with an Equip Spell that boosts its ATK each turn. Joey doesn't give up, though and strengthens his defenses before getting another surprise monster from his opponent that can't be attacked without taking the attacker down. However, Joey gets a very risky draw and decides to play it, giving him an option based on the result. Luckily for Joey, Espa Roba's Jinzo is forced to attack Reflect Bounder, taking both down and winning Joey the Duel. Espa Roba puts up a bit of a fight afterwards but Joey proves that they can still count on each other.
